Reflections: When not to receive counsel from another believer
God desires for us to receive counsel from other believers, so our vision can be successful. However, this does not mean we should accept every counsel that's given to us. In this reflection, I'm talking through how we can determine when not to receive counsel from another believer. Visit our community to share in the comments your thoughts on this topic. Reflections: Change a financial mistake into a seed
I recently made a financial mistake that almost caused me to stress out. However, in the midst of the beginnings of stress, Holy Spirit told me to change that financial mistake into a seed. I made that change and the stress left. In today's reflections, I will be processing the wisdom that the Word of Holy Spirit gave me. Visit our online community and share how this same Word could potentially change your outlook and stress level after making a financial mistake. Link: Join our online community
We are designed to need each other
This year, we are rebuilding the Church for Entrepreneurs with a community focus. We are serving you through community. Holy Spirit revealed to me that it is through a community of like-minded Christian entrepreneurs, each member of the community is going to see the greatest levels of success. Although God gave you the vision, He doesn't want you to do it without counsel from other believers. In fact, He designed our calling to require counsel from others. And one of the best ways to receive counsel is through community. Link: Join our online community

Reflections: Give HER some grace
In this morning's reflections I am thinking about HER again. In all honesty, at the beginning of this year instead of hearing, executing, and relaxing, most of us are going to hear, execute, and worry. But that's okay at first. Give yourself some grace as you practice the HER model of success. Links: Join | Partner
Reflections: There is fear in transition
Every New Year brings a level of transition. God starts to speak to us about doing new things. However, doing the new usually requires us to let off the old. This morning I am reflecting on how there is a level of fear we feel when transiting to something new. And if we don't overcome that fear, we will miss out on new levels of success from the transition. Links: Join | Partner
Reflections: HER is harder than it sounds
I am working on a new online course for our community. However, as I was working, I started to second guess if I should make the course or not. As I was second guessing, I realized that I was violating "HER". I heard God say it, I was executing, but I was not relaxing. In this short reflection, I am reflecting on how "HER" is harder than it sounds, and it will take some practice this year. Links: Join | Partner
Reflections: What do you need to let go of?
As many of you know, this year we let go of our Daily Word messages. It was something that I wrestled with for a while. In the end I decided to follow what I sensed the Holy Spirit was instructing me to do. In this short reflection, I am reflecting on that decision and I would like you to reflect on the question, what do you need to let go of, so you can make room for the new things God wants you to do. How we are serving you in 2021
Proverbs 15:22 KJV Without counsel purposes are disappointed: but in the multitude of counsellors they are established. Matthew 9:16-17 KJV No man putteth a piece of new cloth unto an old garment, for that which is put in to fill it up taketh from the garment, and the rent is made worse. Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved. The Word for 2021 is Rest
At the beginning of each year, God shares with me a word that He desires for those who are connected with Church for Entrepreneurs to focus on for that entire year. The Word for 2021 is Rest. Our motto for this year of rest is Hear, Execute, and Relax: "HER". Hear in our spirit Execute with our hands Relax in our mind Rest requires seven things of us. Live in the now, not the future. Do whatever we are able to do, then do it all without constantly second-guessing yourself. Do not push too hard to find purpose; let purpose find us while we are doing what we know how to do. Rely on the blessing for success, instead of leaning on our own power to make success. Let God be in control of "how it's going to happen", "when it's going to happen", and "what's (in terms of magnitude of results) going to happen". Do not add extra details to God's instructions. Allow to give ourselves grace when we make mistakes. Keep it simple in 2021. Get God's direction and focus on today's instructions, and let tomorrow take care of itself. In this way you can succeed in your rest. This year let your spirit and hands do the work, and rest your mind from figuring it out.
Pastoral Chat: Is the prosperity gospel a heresy?
The prosperity gospel is a term coined for Christians who teach and believe that God desires for Christians to be wealthy and healthy. This concept has been criticized over the years as a heresy and error by other Christian teachers and institutions. Even with the criticism, I believe in the message behind the prosperity gospel. Let me explain why. Links: Join and/or Partner
Pastoral Chat: 2020 is not over yet
The Word God gave me for 2020 was clarity. In particular He said, We are entering a year, where the callings that I have placed inside of my people will be accelerated and those who know their calling, accept it and execute it will experience unprecedented levels of success. 2020 is the year of clarity. Clarity of purpose and clarity of action. - Word from God But guess what? 2020 is not over yet. There is still time to press in with our faith and receive the success we desire in these last few days of the year. Listen in as I discuss this more. Links: Join and/or Partner
Let's learn from God's patience
Merry Christmas, everyone. On this day, we celebrate the birth of Jesus, which represents our salvation, but also God's patience. God's vision was to have children, but when Adam and Eve sinned, He had to wait many thousands of years until the time was right to send Jesus to restore us back to Him. In today's Christmas message, let's explore God's patience through the birth of Jesus and see what we can learn for our own vision. Links: Join and/or Partner
How Shall this Be – Stretch your mind and spirit to receive the vision God has for you
Mary's faith to conceive Jesus is a great example for us of how to stretch our mind and spirit to receive the vision God has for us. When presented with the greatest calling of all time (giving birth to the messiah) instead of doubt, Mary stretched her mind beyond human understanding and simply asked – How shall this be. Getting off the emotional roller coaster of success depression
One problem I am personally working to overcome is "success depression." Let me explain. I am a person who goes all out to reach a goal; however, I will feel somewhat depressed until the goal is completed. Once the goal is attained, I am happy again. But here is the real problem: that happiness is short-lived. This is because I will immediately set another goal, and the "success depression" roller coaster will start all over again. Obviously, this is not sustainable. If this feeling sounds similar to yours, then listen closely to today's Daily Word as I examine the Word of God to find the solution to get off the emotional roller coaster of success depression. Confession is powerless disconnected from God
Your confession (through the words of your mouth) requests, commands, and receives the things you desire. However, even if you have faith and say the right words, you won't receive what you confess if your words are disconnected from the power source, which is God. Listen to today's Daily Word to learn about this concept, and discover how to connect your confession to the power source. Links: Join and/or Partner
Are you acting like Satan in your thoughts and words
As Christians, we should be imitators of God. However, when your words and thoughts are different than the word of God, then you are acting like Satan. Take a listen to today's message to dig into this concept, so you align your thoughts and words with God's Word and receive what God has for you. Links: Join and/or Partner
Speak the desired outcome (not the details)
Do you want the things you desire to happen with less stress and faster? If so, instead of telling God how to bring about the results you desire, speak the desired outcome and let God handle the details. This subtle switch takes the pressure off you and allows God room to work on your behalf. Listen to today's Daily Word to dig into this concept. Links: Join and/or Partner
Discussion: 2020 in Review
At the beginning of each year, God shares with me a concept that He desires for those who are connected with Church for Entrepreneurs to focus on for that entire year. For 2020, the concept was "Clarity." "We are entering a year, where the callings that I have placed inside of my people will be accelerated and those who know their calling, accept it and execute it will experience unprecedented levels of success. 2020 is the year of clarity. In this workshop, our goal is to allow time and space for the Holy Spirit to speak directly to your spirit about your coaching business to remove spiritual roadblocks and impart insight so you can fully help others and profit in the coaching business that God placed in your heart. Your sins are forgiven
You may need to open up your heart to really hear today's message because Satan has done a great job of convincing believers that they are sinners. When you accepted Jesus as Lord of your life, you stopped being a sinner and became righteous. This means that all your past, present, and future sins are forgiven. You don't need to constantly ask for forgiveness, see yourself as unworthy, or wonder if you are going to heaven. Listen to today's message to dig into this concept. Links: Join and/or Partner
Forgive yourself
An unfortunate reality of living in a fallen world is that we all make mistakes or intentionally do wrong things. When this occurs, because we are believers in Jesus, Jesus' blood has cleansed us from sin, so God has forgiven us. However, it can be hard to forgive ourselves. In today's message, I want to encourage you to forgive yourself and move on because unforgiveness hinders us. Forgiveness needs to be given to others as well as to ourselves. Discussion: God works in the background until the time is right
For various reasons, the time may not be right for you to receive the fullness of the vision God has given you. Therefore, God needs you to be patient, but He has not left you hanging. He is protecting and providing for you (in the background) until the time is right for your vision to be realized. Links: Join and/or Partner
Get comfortable with taking action on partial information from God
Ninety-nine percent of the time God gives us partial information about our calling. Therefore, we must get comfortable with taking action on partial information if we desire to be successful. I know this all too well, because a few years ago Church for Entrepreneurs entered a new phase of its calling: from just a podcast to an online church to entrepreneurs worldwide. This path was filled with partial information from God. In today's message, I am examining this concept and presenting our story as a case study to help you see how God is guiding you over the years, even if you don't know exactly where it is all going. Pastoral Chat: What if you have multiple callings?
I am big proponent of focusing on a single goal until it's been fully achieved. However, God has given some of us multiple callings. In that case, you may be wondering how to implement multiple callings without splitting your attention and focus to the point that none of your callings are successful. How do I know about this challenge? Because over the last year, God has been speaking to me about adding two additional callings to my life. Listen to today's Pastor Chat as I explore the question of multiple callings with you, using myself as an example. Links: Join and/or Partner
It may be too late for that unfinished assignment
Many believers with entrepreneurial callings have a list of unfinished instructions from God. It is tempting to go back and try to finish the list; however, the season for those particular assignments may have passed. God is a right now God. Instead of going backward, find out what God is asking you to do now because the anointing on your unfinished assignments might be gone. Links: Join and/or Partner
