Daily Word - Research shows that two to three million churchgoers leave their church every year. Most leave because of burn out or because they were hurt in someway by their church. Daily Word - Everyone has a place in the Body of Christ. However, to know where you fit, you need to understand how the Body of Christ functions. In today's message, I present a parable (analogy) that paints a picture of the Body of Christ to help you see how it works. Links - Join, Partner

Daily Word - Just because you can do it or it looks profitable or seems helpful doesn't mean you should do it. The time God has given you on earth is supposed to be filled with projects commissioned by God. When you involve yourself in unauthorized projects (however good they may be), you will stress yourself out because you will be doing it without God. Links - Join, Partner

Daily Word - Because we live in a world where people often get sick and sometimes die from those sicknesses, we are conditioned to accept being sick. However, sickness is not something we have to accept; we can choose not to be sick. This is important because sickness not only weakens your body, but your mind as well, which stops the faith you need to succeed in your calling. Links - Join, Partner

Open Forum - We discussed how we should not allow money to govern our decisions in terms of: your vision; whether you should set up an LLC or a non-profit; why it's not advisable to go into business with your boyfriend; when to "unmake" a promise; and other interesting topics. Daily Word - The vision that God has given to you requires faith to achieve. However, if you have people in your circle of influence who are casting doubt over your vision, either in words or actions, their unbelief will contaminate your faith. When this happens, your once strong faith becomes ineffective and your vision fails. You need to remove unbelieving people from your circle of influence in order to avoid this scenario, so you can achieve success in your vision and receive all the things for which you are believing in God for. Daily Word - Christians debate back and forth over tithing. If we are not careful, we can get confused by the barrage of scripture being thrown at each side of the argument. Even though tithing is highly contested, God placed the concept of tithing in the Bible for a reason — not for us to argue over it but to learn from it. In today's message, let's travel back into the Old Testament to learn about the three different types of tithes and discover their lessons for us believers under the new covenant of grace. Daily Word - Your way is any way that is planned and implemented without the counsel of God. Most times you have good intentions, because you are walking in God's calling for your life, so it seems like you are in God's will. However, no matter how great your intentions, your way can lead to unnecessary delays and collateral damage to your marriage, friendships, followers, finances, and/or health. Links - Join, Partner

Daily Word - Divine healing is not a reward for serving God or living a holy life. Instead, it is a basic benefit of every believer that is designed to be accessed instantly with your faith. However, if we just simply look around, we notice that some people receive divine healing quickly, for others it comes a bit slower, and for many healing doesn't come at all. Why is this the case? Daily Word - As you are implementing the vision God has given you, it can be tempting to believe that you need more time than you currently have to work on your calling. So you start stealing time from your family, friends, and other areas of your life, thinking that if you have more time, you are more likely to succeed in your calling. Well, this scenario will create unnecessary stress in your life. Don't fall into this stress trap because you actually don't need more time. Links - Join, Partner

Daily Word - Stress is a by-product of a fear-filled mind. The bible tells us that fear produces torment, and that is exactly what stress is. It is tormenting your mind with thoughts of death and lack. However, the bible also tells that the antidote to stress produced by fear is love. Links - Join, Partner

Daily Word - Receiving your blessings (i.e., healing, prosperity, etc.) from God requires you to speak words of faith. However, if you are full of stress, then your words have no power because stress is killing your faith. Links - Join, Partner

Open Forum - We discussed that we need to be willing to follow Jesus's calling in our lives. Also we talked about how saying no to non-calling opportunities is critical to stay on one's calling, following the pace of peace, and how God can bend time for us. Daily Word - A major key to living stress-free is controlling your mind, and the only way to control your mind is to renew your mind daily with the Word of God. Therefore, I am sharing with you my scripture list that I use to renew my mind. Links - Join, Partner

Daily Word - We have to be careful about hearing lies about ourselves from others. Maybe your parents or teachers have told you that you would never amount to anything. Or perhaps an ex-spouse said that you had no value. Mentally we know the lies are false, but subconsciously these lies become embedded in our spirit and affect our decisions. Daily Word - The Bible tells us that when trouble comes our way, God will create a way of escape. He does this so we can overcome all bad situations. So what is this way? The means our escape is His word. Links - Join, Partner

Daily Word - In order to achieve success in your calling, you first have to believe you deserve success. However, many people feel like they are unworthy of success due to past sins, mistakes, and/or missteps. Most of us have done things we are not proud of, but God stills finds you worthy of success. Daily Word - In today's society there is backlash toward giving to ministries. Some think that ministers are wasting or stealing money, and that same money should instead be given to help the poor. This has led some Christians and non-believers to shame Christians who sow to ministries. They feel that these Christians are being led astray, brainwashed, and taken advantage of. Daily Word - Under the banner of being humble, we hold back our ambition because we don't want to appear greedy or self centered. However, your ambition is the engine that powers your success. Without it, you won't achieve all that God has called you to achieve. In today's message, learn the power of your ambition and the anointing associated with it. Links - Join, Partner

Daily Word - God gave you a vision to be in your own business or ministry full time. However, in the meantime, what do you do until the vision fully manifests? Is it a lack of faith to do something else while you wait for manifestation? Or maybe you should use your faith to jump directly into the vision? Links - Join, Partner

Daily Word - A tricky trap is allowing the vision God gave you to become your god. When this occurs, you become obsessed with the vision, which leads to stress and anxiousness. Also the vision becomes unsuccessful and destructive to your life. If you continue in this way, at some point, God will remove the anointing for the vision from you. Links - Join, Partner

Daily Word - Speaking in tongues is one of those Bible concepts that feels a little out there and has many doctrinal interpretations and debates, which cause some Christians to shy away from it. However, speaking in tongues is not complex and is a powerful prayer method for the success of the calling God has given you. Links - Join, Partner

Open Forum - We discussed how if you are truly doing what you are called to do, then you won't desire to quit. You might have difficult times, but quitting won't be an option. We also talked about embracing your gifts and talents, and not conforming to a particular mold. We wrapped up discussing a few other interesting things, including the idea that just because you like doing something, that doesn't mean you are called to start a business doing it. Daily Word - Most Christians are confused about what is the "mark of the beast." However, God never intended for this to be a confusing or misunderstood topic, because it has great impact on believers, especially believers in the marketplace. This is because the mark of the beast is an economic system that's designed to force believers to conform to worldly non-Christ-like norms and practices. Links - Join, Partner

Daily Word - It is not an accident that the moment you accept God's calling for your life that an unexpected sickness or a financial hardship comes your way. These things are attacks of Satan to imprison you in pain and lack to stop you from succeeding in your calling. Well, don't fall for this trick. Daily Word - As you are implementing the calling God has given you, unfortunately bad situations will occur along your journey. However, when a bad situation happens, don't focus on why it happened, instead just ask God to fix it and keep pressing until you receive victory. Asking why is a waste of energy and time, and usually doesn't yield satisfactory answers. There is a peace in not focusing on the bad, but continually pressing toward good. Links - Join, Partner

Daily Word - As a believer, you are not successful because you make the best business, life or ministry decisions. You are successful because of the anointing on your life. Therefore, don't stress out over the decisions you need to make. Instead, make a decision and relax in the anointing of God. Links - Join, Partner

Daily Word - With God, all people are created equal and have the same value. However, society does not think this way. Society has evolved to esteem some physical characteristics and social standings as more valuable than others. For example, if you're the right color, the right height, or the right gender, then you may have an advantage over somebody who's doesn't have one of those characteristics or features. This isn't fair; however, God can use a social privilege for his purposes. So if you have a privilege, don't automatically push it away; instead, allow God to use it. Links - Join, Partner

Open Forum - We talked a lot about having the patience to wait on God to bring the resources for our vision. We also discussed how we can't allow internal or external pressure to cause us to move faster than God. Finally, we looked at how to distinguish between not acting out of fear versus out of a warming for God, and a few other interesting things. Links - Join, Partner

Daily Word - When bad things happen to us or to others we are tempted to ask, "God, don't you care? Why aren't you doing something about this?" It looks and feels like God is absent or does not care. Well, God does care and has already done something about the bad situations you and others face. Links - Join, Partner

Daily Word - Idle words are words said in passing when you are caught off guard. For example: Someone may ask you, "How are you doing today?" and you may instinctively say, "I have seen better days." Or maybe your child may ask, "Could you buy me this new toy for me?" and you may say, "Honey, we cannot afford that." Well, saying idle words like that negate your words of faith for the great days or the financial harvest you are believing will come. Links - Join, Partner

Open Forum - I reminded everyone about the word of the year - "REST." We discussed information overload, money is an unreliable god, moving to another state, don't over prepare, and other interesting topics. Links - Join, Partner

Daily Word - Your confession (through the words of your mouth) requests, commands, and receives the things you desire. However, even if you have faith and say the right words, you won't receive what you confess if your words are disconnected from the power source, which is God. Links - Join, Partner

Pastoral Chat - Jesus warned us that in this world we will have problems. Things will come against us to attempt to stop our calling. However, He encouraged us to be at peace because He has overcome all problems, so we will win in the end. Links - Join, Partner

Daily Word - God has given you a vision for a business, ministry, or nonprofit. However, cash is running low and the vision currently cannot pay your bills. What do you do? Well, don't quit the vision. Instead, look for an additional source of income. Links - Join, Partner

Daily Word - A counterfeit is defined as anything made in the image of something valuable or important, with the intention to deceive or defraud. As this definition describes, money is a counterfeit of faith. Money is designed to look, feel and act like faith, but it is an imitation of faith designed to defraud you into trusting it instead of placing your faith and trust in God. Links - Join, Partner

Daily Word - As Christians, we are conditioned to charitably give things away; therefore, many Christians who run businesses feel weird and uneasy about selling their products or services in exchange for money. This awkwardness may lead us to under price or give away too much, which can bring about frustration and eventually cause us to go out of business. To succeed in your business, you need a paradigm shift in selling. Because selling stuff for money is a blessed activity. Links - Join, Partner

Daily Word - A trap that many entrepreneurs and ministers fall into is making their God-given vision their god, instead of the Lord being their God. This is a deceptive trap. All your outward actions may look godly and in line with the vision, but your heart motivation is no longer right. This is dangerous because outward actions are meaningless when your heart motive is wrong. Links - Join, Partner

Daily Word - Have you made a mistake implementing the vision God has given you? Maybe you have made many mistakes and it looks like the vision is in jeopardy. If this is the case, don't beat yourself up over it. God has given you an abundance of do-overs. No matter how many mistakes you have made, God is not upset with you. Just keep going. Daily Word - Because we are children of God, we have an embedded desire to help others. However, before we can help others, we first need to take care of ourselves. If we get this out of order, we will fall and pull others down with us. Once we are whole and stable, we can truly help others. Links - Join, Partner

Open Forum - We discussed how you still have to convince yourself to have faith in what God told you to do, even when you know you have heard God. We also talked about competition being a sign that a marketplace exists, being comfortable with being unclear about your next steps, relaxing in the process, and other interesting topics. Daily Word - Worrying about your finances is not healthy because it can cause depression, stress, and sickness. Financial worry is something you don't want in your life. To remove it from your life, however, you must address the root cause – in other words, worry is a sign that money has become your master. Therefore, to remove worry you must switch masters. Daily Word - God created us as three parts: spirit, soul, and body. The part of us that got born again was our spirit; therefore, the faith that moves mountains lives in our spirit, not our soul (a.k.a. our mind). Links - Join, Partner

Daily Word - Having a strong desire for something is deceptive because it makes you think you are in faith. However, wanting something badly is not faith. Faith is not a strong desire; it is believing that you will receive the object of your desire. No matter how much you want something, if you don't have faith for it, you will not receive it.
