Daily Word - As believers, we have to remove the limits on our mind to fully receive all of the things we desire from God. One limit we need to remove is the idea that God has a priority system ranking some desires above others. The reality is that the unlimited power of God does not prioritize needs or desires. He cares as much about your desire for a new car as a starving child's desire for food. In today's message, we examine this concept in detail to help you expand your thinking and increase your faith. Daily Word - If you ask most Christians why they want success in business, they'll say something like, "to make a lot of money, so I can extend the kingdom of God." This is a noble motivation, but most Christians who say this are lying to themselves, because they believe God would not approve of their true motive. Here's the problem: when you lie to yourself about why you want success, you won't be successful. Success is built on true motives. And guess what, if your true motive is to make a lot of money to have an enjoyable life for you and your family, God is cool with that. Sunday Service - Most believers ask the question, "how do I know what I am called to do." Well, the simple answer is that God has to tell you. However, the not so simple part is "how do you hear God speaking to you." Daily Word - Believers will often say, "If God wants me to go this way, then He will open a door of opportunity," or, "this door closed because God has something better for me." God can open and close doors of opportunity, but the state of the door (aka opportunity) doesn't indicate the will of God for your life. Daily Word - When you see another believer fail to receive their healing, especially when they have been praying for it, it can really cause you to doubt. However, we don't really know why they didn't receive healing, and we can't allow their failure to receive it to derail our faith in divine healing. Links - Join, Partner

Daily Word - The enemy is trying hard to destabilize God's system of preaching the gospel on Earth by attacking its financial system. His strategy is to have Christians argue over tithing and giving, debate what preachers should or shouldn't spend money on, and making it a choice between giving to the poor verse giving to ministry. Daily Word - God speaks to us mainly through His written word. However, He is also in the business of giving us dreams and/or visions as part of our toolkit for direction for our entrepreneurial calling. A simple distinction I use between them is that dreams happen when you are asleep and visions happen when you are awake. Daily Word - In today's guru culture, people are flocking to programs, masterminds, and VIP coaching packages, seeking advice on how to be successful in their entrepreneurial endeavors. Seeking advice is a wise thing to do; however, as believers, we have to be careful about the sources of advice. Counsel from unbelievers can be a dangerous business that leads you into a pit of failure. Links - Join, Partner

Daily Word - The vision God has given you requires many decisions that need to be made for you to accomplish it, from simple decisions like the color of your website to major decisions like where should your business or ministry be located. So, is God directing every single decision you need to make? Not really. It is more like a partnership with God than God being a dictator. Daily Word - It is very tempting to criticize another Christian when we see them doing something that goes against our understanding of scripture. For example, you see a pastor asking her followers to sow into her ministry, so she can purchase a private jet. Perhaps you see a Christian music artist starting to sing secular music. Maybe a Christian entrepreneur is operating his business differently than you would expect of a Christian. And the list can go on and on. Here's the problem: when you criticize another Christian as they are operating in their calling, you're not really criticizing them, you're criticizing God. Daily Word - If God has called you to be an entrepreneur, the first thing you need to do is change your mind. The mindset of an entrepreneur is very different from that of an employee. If your mind is not changed, you will struggle in your calling. Therefore, most entrepreneurs must go through a personal wilderness experience (one of lack) for the purpose of mindset renewal, so they can achieve all God has planned for them. We also talk about can we expect a financial seed to produce a harvest of finances, can we pray for healing for others, is tithing required as new covenant believers, and a few other interesting topics. Daily Word - As an entrepreneur, the Lord is constantly speaking to your spirit ideas to either start something new or take what you're currently doing to the next level. However, how do you hear these ideas from God and how do you take them from your from spirit to launching them in the marketplace? Learn a three stage process to go from idea to launch. Daily Word - When we mix God's will with our own we are headed toward an eventual failure. Unfortunately it is very easy to taint God's will and not even realize it. However, when we do realize it, we need to get back on track even if we've spent a lot of money going down a tainted path. Don't allow the fact that you spend money going in a wrong direction cause you to stress about changing directions because God loves you so much that He will restore whatever you spent going down the wrong path. Daily Word - The Bible teaches us that the love of money is the root of all evil, but what does that really mean? Does it mean we should give all our money away and live a very modest life? Does it mean we shouldn't devise plans to make money from our businesses? Daily Word - God's words in the Bible are powerless if they are not planted and watered in your heart. For example, an apple seed is useless until it is planted in the ground and watered properly with rain, then it can produce an apple tree. In the same way, God's words are seeds that need to be planted and watered in the ground of your heart. Once planted and watered, the word-seed's harvest is faith. Links - Join, Partner

Daily Word - Most Christians are controlled by their feelings, which is completely backward from God's viewpoint. At times, it may seem impossible, but God has designed us to control our feelings instead of the other way around. When our feelings are out of control, we become stressed, which leads to constant irritability and long-term depression. Daily Word - There are many times along your entrepreneurial journey where you need to quit certain activities to gain more success. These times occur because you either misheard God, or the seasons for those activities have ended. Daily Word - What holds most Christians in business back from maximal success is this nagging question in the back of their mind: Is pursuing money okay? This uncertainty has them charging less money than they should or wanting to give their products and services away for free. Due to worldly and churchly pressures, we are inundated with messages that say making money is bad, from Hollywood to the Pulpit. They see the pursuit of profit in business as a necessary evil at best, and at worst they see pursuing profit as taking from society and the poor. There are very few things that the world and the church agree on, and it seems like that they both have deemed pursuing profit as bad. However, this thought process will hold you back from fulfilling what God has called you to do in business. Links - Join, Partner

Daily Word - As entrepreneurs, it is very tempting to see a need and start something to fill that need. We have no shortage of money-making ideas or desires to start new ministries to fix various societal ills. However, we need to execute a lot of self-control in this area because great ideas will break our focus and cause us to fail at what God has really called us to do. Daily Word - Is God punishing me? Have I done something to make God mad? Have I been disobedient to His Word? These are just a few questions we ask ourselves when bad things happen to us. Daily Word - Various reasons, some out of and others in our control, cause a lack of results in our callings. A reason in our control is our growth. Not physical growth but personal growth. You see, the person you are today has to grow into the person you need to be for tomorrow's success, because the next level of success in your calling requires you to become a new person. Daily Word - When God gives you a calling, He is not putting pressure on you to achieve it all within a certain time frame. He has given you your entire life to fulfill your calling. If you feel pressure, that pressure is coming from Satan, not God. Therefore, don't condemn yourself for not having achieved more by some artificial due date. Daily Word - Our society is obsessed with credibility and credentials. If you are a chef, they want to know what culinary school you went to. If you're a business coach, they want to know what successful business you have personally made a million dollars from. If you say you are starting a ministry, people want to know what theology school you got your ministry degree from. These questions are basically trying to judge or challenge your credibility. Daily Word - There is a misconception that says, "If God called me to start a business or ministry, then I will not lack anything." Well, this is not quite true. As you are on your entrepreneurial journey, God may lead you through periods of financial lack. Now, He is not causing the lack, but the road to your calling may be paved with financial lack. Daily Word - Some Christians believe that seeking and having money will keep you out of the Kingdom of God. They hold this belief, because in the Bible Jesus told a rich, young ruler to sell all he had and give it to poor, and then he could have eternal life. Based on this Bible passage, many have drawn a negative connection between having money and entering the Kingdom of God. So is this true? Daily Word - I want to examine an interesting aspect of Jesus – He was probably really short. Most people envision Jesus as tall, very attractive, and commanding, based on Western standards. However, this was far from the case. I know that this topic seems to come out of left field, but it's important to see this about Jesus, because it will greatly increase our confidence in achieving the calling God has given us. Daily Word - For many believers, lack of financial stability is a hindrance to the calling God has given them. It is not a hindrance because God can't use us if we are in lack. However, in many cases, financial lack causes us to focus our time and creativity inwardly instead of outwardly. An inward-focused mind is in the wrong position to hear God for the fullness of the vision. Therefore, in the Bible, we see many times how God provides for people's personal financial needs first, and then they step into a major area of their vision. Links - Join, Partner

Daily Word - In our guru culture of coaches and mentors, we are being programmed to follow other people's paths to success. This is tempting to our intellect and emotions because we believe that if somebody has made six or seven figures doing it a certain way, then we'll also be successful if we just follow their way. However, this rarely happens. If you look at the results of the guru's students, they rarely reach the same level of success as the guru. And of course the guru says that if you take action, you will make it just like me. Well, people are taking actions, and it is still not working. The reason it is not working is because another person's path to success is not your blueprint from God. And by the way, this also applies to trying to follow the success of someone else's ministry. Daily Word - In life, we experience many problems that come up against us. Some problems come in the form of financial hardship. Others come as sickness, or even some come through a close relationship. However, whatever the type of problem, you can be sure that the problems you're facing are not God trying to test you. So when we are faced with the stress of financial pressures, we jump into action and try everything we know to make more money. Daily Word - According to the Bible, the one thing that opens the door to all evil is the love of money. Now, most people think that this sin can only be committed by people with money. However, this is far from the truth. The love of money can be committed by anyone, believer or nonbeliever, and those involved in entrepreneurial pursuits need to be more careful than others not to fall into the love of money trap. Daily Word - We find ourselves feeling powerless because we don't realize who we are in Christ and that God has given us the power of decision. And with this power comes great responsibility, but it is our power to use. For example, many women in abusive marriages look to pastors and Bible teachers to answer the question, "Should I get a divorce or should I stay?" And many women get answers that they find unsatisfactory in either direction, and they are plunged into a feeling of powerlessness. Or maybe you are in a job that you hate, and you want to quit your job and start a business. But others are telling you to be responsible and not quit. Or perhaps you are called to the ministry, and your church leadership disagrees with you or doesn't notice your ministry call. Yes, seek counsel from a pastor and trusted advisors, but at the end of the day, the decision (right or wrong) in any area of your life is yours to make. Links - Join, Partner
