What did Jesus say about divorce and remarriage
Divorce and remarriage are two of the most disputed topics in the body of Christ. Some say you should never get a divorce and, if you do, you can never be remarried. Others say divorce is okay because of adultery. And another group says you can divorce and remarry for any reasons. In today's message, I examine what Jesus says about these two issues. How close are you to your dream
Let's have some real talk. More than likely, the dream God placed in your heart of your entrepreneurial calling is going to take a while, which means you are going to be tempted to quit because it is taking too long. It may even feel like God forgot about you. But rest assured He has not. Everyone's dreams take time to manifest, and there are neither magic pills nor secret techniques to speed them up. The main techniques you need are simply trusting in God and having patience. As you follow God in leading you towards your dream, you will grow the skills needed to take hold of the dream and conquer it. Don't give up. Every day you will get closer, and at some point, after diligence and faithfulness, you'll be only one day away from manifesting the dream. Links: Join us, Partner with us

What is holding me back from my promised land?

Receiving is built on expectation
In today's message, let's look at the connection between receiving and expectation. You'll discover that without expecting to receive from your giving, you are cutting off your harvest. Links: Join us, Partner with us
Discussion: Who are you?
The answer to the question "who are you" holds the key to your inner peace and success. However, many believers have placed their identity in what they do instead of who they are. The Holy Spirit recently dropped these words in my spirit: "Your identity is based on who you are in Christ, not based on what you do for Christ. Pastoral Chat: This is the most dangerous thing to your calling
The thing that is most dangerous to your calling is comparing the progress of your calling to someone's else calling. Watch today's Pastoral Chat to learn more about this idea. Links: Join our community, Partner with us
Lack of submission is a major reason for failure
Entrepreneurship culture promotes the idea of starting your own thing, so you can be your own boss. This idea basically promotes an escape from submission. However, this is a dangerous motive, because, to succeed in entrepreneurship, you need to be able to submit to other people. Listen to today's message and discover why a lack of submission is a major reason for failure in entrepreneurship. Links: Join our community, Partner with us
Open Forum: I AM
Here is the replay of our open forum from today (10/15/2020). A major theme that occurred was that our identity is in God, not in what we do. To achieve success you have to stop lying to yourself about why you want success
If you ask most Christians why they want success in business, they'll say something like, "to make a lot of money, so I can extend the Kingdom of God." This is a noble motivation, but most Christians who say this are lying to themselves, because they believe God would not approve of their true motive. Here's the problem: when you lie to yourself about why you want success, you won't be successful. Success is built on true motives. And guess what, if your true motive is to make a lot of money to have an enjoyable life for you and your family, God is cool with that. Listen to today's word training to learn more about this concept, so you can have an honest conversation with yourself about your motives for success. Links: Join our community, Partner with us
Alone time with God needs to increase as success increases
As you become more successful, your time is going to be more in demand from clients, new opportunities, requests for partnerships, and people asking for advice. To stay centered with God and not become overwhelmed, we need to take intentional long-periods of time to be alone with God. Listen to today's message to learn more about this concept. Open Forum: Am I charging enough?
Here is the replay of our open forum from today (10/13/2020). A few themes that came up were: How do I price my coaching business? Should I take time off if I have a baby? Should my name be incorporated into the business' name? How do I tell my church I have to stop volunteering? Open forums are a way for believers to come together and receive godly counsel on the next steps and/or challenges in their calling. Enabling non-believers to experience the saving grace of Jesus through your entrepreneurial work
As believers with entrepreneurial callings, we desire to see people discover Jesus through our work. But how does that happen? Some people believe that serving and loving people through our work is enough, and that indirectly they will eventually come to experience Jesus. However, others say that you have to be more bold and direct. Is there a correct way? Well, there is one way for people to be saved, but many ways to warm them up to consider the possibility of accepting Jesus. In today's message, we will explore how to allow God to use your entrepreneurial work in a way that enables non-believers to experience the saving grace of Jesus. Links: Join, Partner
God may lead you to a transitional job before entrepreneurship
God may have you quit your current job, but instead of leading you straight into entrepreneurship, He may have you get a transitional job. The transitional job is for you to build up your faith, so when you step into your entrepreneurial calling you have the required faith to succeed. Listen to today's Pastoral Chat to learn more about this concept. Links: Join, Partner
Did Jesus miss it?
I have a question: "Did Jesus miss it?" Just hearing that question sounds crazy, but there is a story in the New Testament in which it appears to have taken Jesus two tries to heal a blind man. If this is true, it opens up all kids of theological questions about the power of God. How could Jesus, who was not only the son of God but also God, require more than one time to do something right? If this is the case, this could weaken our faith in the power of God, and put in doubt some of the things we're believing for. Therefore, let's examine this question in today's message. Discussion: Is your faith ready to take that step?
The next step in your calling will move you forward in a mighty way. However, don't take that step until your faith is ready for it. When it comes to faith, we can not fake it until we make it. We all have to be honest about our level of faith, because without the correct level of faith, the next step in our calling will be a disaster. It's better to pause and build up your faith, then take that next step when your faith is ready. Listen to the replay from today's discussion to explore this concept. Doing the right thing (Grace vs. Law)
There is a big question among believers about following the Law from the old convent verses not following it because we are now under Grace. After researching the scriptures, I am comfortable saying that as new testament believers, we are under Grace, not Law. However, does this mean we can do anything we want? Well, no. Listen to today's message and learn how we do what is right because of Grace and not because of Law. Links: Join our community, Partner with us

Decisions are yours to make
We find ourselves feeling powerless because we don't realize who we are in Christ and that God has given us the power of decision. And with this power comes great responsibility, but it is our power to use. For example, many women in abusive marriages look to pastors and Bible teachers to answer the question, "Should I get a divorce or should I stay?" And many women get answers that they find unsatisfactory in either direction, and they are plunged into a feeling of powerlessness. Or maybe you are in a job that you hate, and you want to quit your job and start a business. But others are telling you to be responsible and not quit. Or perhaps you are called to the ministry, and your church leadership disagrees with you or doesn't notice your ministry call. Yes, seek counsel from a pastor and trusted advisors, but at the end of the day, the decision (right or wrong) in any area of your life is yours to make. Links: Subscribe, Partner

In this year of clarity, one of the outcomes God had me share was unprecedented levels of success. One way unprecedented success comes is through success accelerators. Mistakes will be made in your calling
We all make mistakes as we are implementing the calling that God has given us. In fact, when He called us, He knew we would make mistakes and prepared provisions for those times. Therefore, we should not allow the fear of making a mistake to hold us back from moving forward in our calling. Links: Subscribe, Partner

A hardened heart towards God blocks your success
When we experience failure in life, if we are not careful, we can harden our hearts towards God. This is dangerous because a hard heart cannot have faith, which is the force by which we receive success from God. In a very real way, a hardened heart towards God blocks your success in life and in your calling. Links: Subscribe, Partner
The Word for 2020 is Clarity
At the beginning of each year, God shares with me a concept that He desires for those who are connected with Church for Entrepreneurs to focus on for that entire year. For 2020, the concept is "Clarity." For this Sunday's discussion, I am led to reinforce the word for this year. Links: Subscribe, Partner

Faith is in your heart not your mind
God created us as three parts: spirit, soul, and body. The part of us that got born again was our spirit; therefore, the faith that moves mountains lives in our spirit, not our soul (a.k.a. our mind). Listen to today's message to learn all about this concept so that you can correctly develop your faith. Links: Subscribe, Partner
Doubting any part weakens faith
There are many parts of the Bible that go against our natural understanding and are supernatural and miraculous. So what do we do with that? Well, if we doubt those parts of the Bible because it goes against our natural understanding, then we make our faith ineffective. For our faith to be strong and effective, we must accept the whole Bible and not doubt parts of it. Links: Subscribe, Partner

Patience is the missing ingredient to manifestation

Opened nor closed doors indicates the will of God for your life (Discussion Replay)
Believers will often say, "If God wants me to go this way, then He will open a door of opportunity," or, "this door closed because God has something better for me." God can open and close doors of opportunity, but the state of the door (aka opportunity) doesn't indicate the will of God for your life. Watching doors open and close can mislead you and put you in a state of confusion. Links: Subscribe, Partner

Stop so you can move forward
For most of us, we are doing a lot of things, striving to succeed in our calling. Some things God called us to do and other things we decided to do. However, in either case, when God drops insight in your spirit for a new opportunity or direction, there is a strong possibility that He is also telling us we need to stop doing some things. He tells us to stop doing some things so that we can free up time and resources for the new thing He desires us to do. Links: Subscribe, Partner

I have advised many believers who are called to be a coach in various fields. How do I say no to well-meaning people?
In today's message, I am answering a question from one of our listeners. The question is, "How do I say no to well-meaning people?" The scenario behind this question is that well-meaning people are giving them advice on what they should do to make money so they can provide for their family. However, this advice goes against the calling God has given them. Listen to today's message to discover the danger of following the wrong advice from well-meaning people, and learn how to gently (but firmly) tell them no. Links: Subscribe, Partner

God's words in the Bible are seeds
God's words in the Bible are powerless if they are not planted and watered in our heart. For example, an apple seed is useless until it is planted in the ground and watered properly with rain, then it can produce an apple tree. In the same way, God's words are seeds that need to be planted and watered in the ground of our heart. Once planted and watered, the word-seed's harvest is faith. Links: Subscribe, Partner
Disobedience cancels God's plan for your life
Even if God called us to do it, success is not automatic. If we are disobedient in the implementation steps, then success will stay far from us. We all make mistakes, but disobedience is a choice to go in a different direction than what God has called us to do or a choice to not course-correct when we discover we are wrong. It's critical to keep checking in with God, and when required, quickly change our direction back in line with the will of God. Links: Subscribe, Partner
