Don't copy because your calling is unique (Discussion Replay)

The calling God has given you is unique and requires a unique blueprint, so we should not copy someone else's plan or testimony of success. When we copy, it is like putting a circle in a square hole – it just doesn't fit. Yes, we can learn from others, but we should not copy. If you want success, then seek God for the specific way He wants you to accomplish your calling. Links Discussions Partnership

Your idle words must align with your faith (Daily Word)

Idle words are words said in passing when you are caught off guard. For example: Someone may ask you, "How are you doing today?" and you may instinctively say, "I have seen better days." Or maybe your child may ask, "Could you buy me this new toy for me?" and you may say, "Honey, we cannot afford that." Well, saying idle words like that negate your words of faith for the great days or the financial harvest you are believing will come. Listen to today's Daily Word to learn why your idle words have to align with your faith to receive what God has for you. Links Discussions Partnership

Get your mind on God instead of money to be successful (Daily Word)

As entrepreneurs, it is tempting to focus most of our thoughts on how our venture is going to make money. Yes, this is an important issue because money is required in our endeavors. However, we need to stop thinking about money and instead think about God if we desire to be successful in our entrepreneurial pursuits. Links Discussions Partnership

Crises separate your calling from God's calling (Faith Chat)

There are two types of callings: a calling you gave yourself, and a calling God gave you. In the midst of crises, the callings you called yourself to do will fall apart, but God's calling on your life will stand strong. If we are watchful during a crisis, we can clearly see what we are really called to do by watching what falls and what stands. Listen to today's Faith Chat to explore this idea. Jesus manifested money whenever needed (Daily Word)

Christians disagree about whether Jesus was rich or poor. However, the question may be ill-conceived, because while money was necessary to Jesus' life and ministry, it was irrelevant to him personally. Whenever money was required, Jesus manifested money or its equivalent to meet his needs and the needs of those around Him. In today's Daily Word, we're analyzing the ease with which Jesus acquired money, so you can do the same in your life and business. Links Discussions Partnership

Money is counterfeit faith (Daily Word)

A counterfeit is defined as anything made in the image of something valuable or important, with the intention to deceive or defraud. As this definition describes, money is a counterfeit of faith. Money is designed to look, feel and act like faith, but it is an imitation of faith designed to defraud you into trusting it instead of placing your faith and trust in God. Success requires ending unauthorized endeavors (Discussion Replay)

Just because it's profitable, helpful to others, or beneficial to the Kingdom doesn't mean you should do it. The time God has given you on earth is supposed to be filled with endeavors commissioned by God. When you involve yourself in unauthorized endeavors (however good they may be), you will stress yourself out because you will be doing it without God. When you are stressed you lose time and creativity for the calling God has given you to do. This results in slowed success or no success in your calling. Links Discussions Partnership

We have to graduate from needing other Christians to agree with us (Daily Word)

Since the beginning days of Christianity, believers have had disagreements over the meaning of various spiritual principles in the Word of God. A lot of these early disagreements are actually documented in the New Testament. What is amazing about these early disagreements is that God did not step in and correct everyone. Instead, He left it up to us to correctly discover spiritual truth from His Word. Therefore, when you are listening to other believers and ministers interpret the Word of God, you are bound to hear contradictions and disagreements. When this happens, we have to resist the desire to enter into fruitless arguments. In a real sense, to grow spiritually, we have to graduate from needing other Christians to agree with us. The Bible is a finite wrapper (Daily Word)

Human language has only a fraction of the communication power as God's spiritual language. Therefore, God's word cannot be directly represented in a one-to-one representation of human words because our words are limited. His words are spirit and our words are natural. To hear the spirit words behind the human words in the Bible, we must meditate the words in the Bible until our spiritual ears hear God's true revelation. God can use a social privilege for his purposes (Daily Word)

With God, all people are created equal and have the same value. However, society does not think this way. Society has evolved to esteem some physical characteristics and social standings as more valuable than others. For example, if you're the right color, the right height, or the right gender, then you may have an advantage over somebody who's doesn't have one of those characteristics or features. This isn't fair; however, God can use a social privilege for his purposes. So if you have a privilege, don't automatically push it away; instead, allow God to use it. The "right look" is not required for leadership (Daily Word)

To lead, you don't need to lose weight, dye your hair, change your eye color, or do anything else society finds attractive. Your ability to lead is not based on what's attractive to society, but the anointing that's on your life. This is critical to know because if you think (or even slightly think) your ability to lead is tied to looking like what society finds attractive, then you will fail. Processing injustice through the Word of God (Daily Word)

Watching a person be murdered on social media is a traumatic experience for all who watched — regardless of race. Opened nor closed doors indicate the will of God (Daily Word)

Sustainable success comes from controlling the seeds you allow into your heart (Daily Word)

Each day of our life, seeds are being intentionally and unintentionally sown into our hearts which either produce the fruit of faith, or fear. This is important because the results you experience in your life are based on faith or fear. Faith that is acted on produces success; and fear creates inaction, which produces failure. Thus, most of us are experiencing wild swings in emotions, various degrees of success, and frequent periods of failure. Don't leave a vision for your children (Faith Chat)

The Bible teaches that we should leave an inheritance for our children's children. Many of us with entrepreneurial callings take this to mean that the business God has called us to build will be an inheritance for our children, who can then pass it on to their children. However, this is not quite the correct way to go about leaving an inheritance. When we leave our children a business, we are leaving them a vision. The problem with this is that the vision that God has given our children may be different than our vision. If our children attempt to run the business God has given us, then we are pulling them off their God-given path. Listen to today's Faith Chat to explore this idea more with me.
