Ep 47Yellowstone Select 93 Bourbon

E

With all of the hype and discussion around Yellowstone Bourbon, we figured that it was time for us to review this one as well as a special guest bourbon. The special guest is Fighting Cock bourbon and it was recommended by a listener as they felt it had similar characteristics as Yellowstone. Going back to our "main event", Yellowstone Select 93 is an interesting bourbon with a unique flavor profile that we have not experienced, making it hard to compare to other bourbons. Following our review, we discuss music and as always hop down, through, and around some rabbit holes. Listen in for our full review and "Whiskey Talk". As always, thank you for listening and "Keep it neat, friends".TikTok/Instagram - @whiskeybizpodcaskEmail - [email protected] Code - podcask5 at cwspirits.com and empirejerky.com

Ep 46The Walking Dead Spirits of the Apocalypse Bourbon

E

Never thought we would be doing flavored whiskey but since we received so many requests to review this, we obliged. Old Elk Wheated is a nice and smooth sipper but when you add a store pick to it at a higher proof, you get more flavor and heat. Overall, it's a hell of a sipper. Ep 41Woodford Reserve Straight Rye

E

We are back with another review. Surprisingly we have another rye this week, Woodford Reserve Straight Rye. So far, Woodford Reserve has been highly reviewed by us and is a solid distillery. The rye is a bit different, but would be great for someone just getting into ryes. The low rye content in this whiskey makes it much smoother than most but there is still enough flavor to keep the more seasoned rye drinker interested. Following our review, we hit on a popular topic, the climate and our thoughts on how to improve it. Do electric cars really improve the "environment"? What other things can we do to do our part? Listen in for our full review and opinionated "whiskey talk". As always, thank you for listening and "Keep it neat, friends".

Jul 19, 20211h 26m

Ep 40Noble Oak Bourbon

E

Noble Oak Bourbon is a sourced bourbon that they age with Sherry Barrel Staves. Noble Oak has a cool story as for each bottle sold, they plant an oak tree. Following our review, we discuss premade furniture (aka Ikea type furniture), our thoughts on it as well as our frustrations. Listen in for our full review and world famous "Whiskey Talk". As always thank you for listening and "Keep it neat friends".
