One of the harder to find whiskeys if you do not make your way to the Evan Williams Experience in Louisville, KY is Square 6, a whiskey made at the Evan Williams Experience location. There are a few different varieties but we tried the High Rye. It is a very unique whiskey with plenty of flavor for the proof. For those of you that have been around for a while, you may remember us reviewing Bowman Brothers Small Batch Bourbon with Bourbon of the Week. This week we review the single barrel version. It comes in at a slightly higher proof, is smooth and an overall interesting pour but with a steeper price point that brings up the argument as to whether or not single barrel bourbons are worth it. Well, this was one of those bottles you see and it looks familiar but so different. This bottle was a dusty when I bought it. It was bottled in 2018 and I bought it around 2022-2023. We have another whiskey from Heaven's Door on tab this week. This is their newest line of whiskey called Revival that appears to be favoring the more budget friendly consumers.
