The law was passed in Kansas, ending abortion beyond the 22-week point. This victory is two-fold: First, it will directly reduce the amount of abortions in a similar way that viability laws do. Second, by recognizing that an unborn child feels pain, we are taking a step closer to recognizing an unborn child as a legal person. An Abuse of Treaties Could Tell Parents How to Raise their Children
By our constitution, treaties are considered to be the supreme law of the land. Their purpose is to maintain friendly relations between the US and other countries. The current administration is trying to press an agenda by accepting a treaty for "rights of the child." This would give children legal rights above that of their parents. Every parent would be forced to answer to the government on every point on how they raise their children. Will Estrada of Home School Legal Defense, enlightens us as to the dangers this treaty would entail. This is serious abuse of treaties; our founding fathers never intended treaties to be used in such a manner. In fact, they advise to use treaties sparingly.

Compare countries that developed based on the Bible and non-Bible countries. Only Christianity has the transforming power to convert barbarism to a civilized Form. As a Jew, he does not evangelize; As Christians, we are called to evangelize. And it is that very hope that can fix the world. If you believe in evolution, man is nothing more than an animal, with the zookeeper of government to control him. If you believe the Lord has placed us here, then we have souls and God-given rights, and government is here to serve us. The rabbi talks about these two opposing beliefs. Christianity is crucial to civilization.

Sometimes sacrifices have to be made, but it is what is needed to keep a government afloat, and even prosper.
Government Wants to Tell Internet Providers What They Can and Can't Do
Congressman Joe Barton enlightens us on the dangers of "net neutrality." It's a regulation the FCC has been trying to impose upon our internet service providers, effectively telling them what they can and cannot do. It impedes free market, disallowing the providers to dictate their own prices based on usage. The term "net neutrality" may sound well and good, but this socialistic concept would make all sites on the internet "equal" whether they have high traffic demands or low traffic demands. Tell your members to support H.J. resolution 37.
The City of El Paso Tries to Get its Way with Churches
Tom Brown, pastor of Word of Life church, talks about the city of El Paso, Texas and the ongoing battle over domestic partnerships. Christians filed a law suit against the city because they ignored the will of the people by providing recognition to domestic partnerships. The church has historically been the center of the community, and this will only hurt the city of El Paso. El Paso churches are actively pooling candidates to be an influential voice in the city.
