How could this Biblical form of discipline have found such disfavor in the eyes of this judge? Why is it that spanking has become so counter-cultural? There is a statute in Texas law that specifically allows for spanking as a form of discipline. Equally disturbing is the fact that this judge completely ignored the law.

The program can be presented by any passionate and motivated group of citizens to the children in their community. The planning and curriculum guide leads the group through the planning and execution stages of VLS while providing detailed activities, lessons, background information, and references, for those doing the presenting."

The government wants to tell the church which of their employees are "ministry" employees. If an employee isn't deemed critical to the ministry by government, then the church will have no say over who can fill that position. If the church does try to 'discriminate' against homosexuals or adulterers by denying them a position, the church could be sued.

The ACLJ (American Center for Law and Justice) goes up against the ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union) for filing a lawsuit against Judge DeWeese in Mansfield, Ohio, for having a poster of the ten commandments and their philosophical impact on society, on his courtroom wall. In an effort to be more environmentally friendly, detergent manufactures have eliminated phosphates. Phosphates used to be included in dish-washing and laundry soaps to aid in the removal of grime. Without the phosphates, a residue is left behind after the wash cycle has finished. This isn't the only way forced environmental friendliness and over-regulation is causing problems for people.

Doing so would reduce Israel to a width of 7 miles and it would leave her people no high ground to defend themselves.
