When it comes to firing a client, it's important to do so in a professional and respectful manner. Here are some tips for how to do it: Check your contract or engagement letter to see what terms you have in place to fire a client. Maintain your integrity and stay calm, rational, and polite. Give reasons for terminating the relationship, but keep emotion and name-calling out of the conversation. Never fire a client when you're angry. Take a step back to cool down before making the final call.
