April 5, 2063. Bozeman, Montana. First Contact between Humans and the visitors from Vulcan. ...or...was it? Turns out in 1957, the initial contact we never knew about occurred in Pennsylvania when a Vulcan ship crash landed in the woods outside a small town in the eastern United States. This week, we'll take a look at Carbon Creek from Star Trek: Enterprise's second season. T'Pol's second foremother was part of a group of Vulcans stranded in a Pennsylvania mining town in 1957. Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country debuted in 1991 and it marked the end of the adventures from the cast of the original Star Trek. A whodunit with political overtones, this movie was a great success, leaving many wondering why it was the last movie with Kirk, Spock, McCoy and the rest of the Enterprise crew. It was a film that performed well during a disappointing year at the box office and was also the only Trek movie to win a Saturn Award for Best Science Fiction Film.
