In the second year of the Trek Geeks Podcast, Dan started doing puns during our weekly thanks to the band Five Year Mission. Before too long, those evolved into Farkisms--where he'd take the name of drummer Andy Fark and turn that into some kind of pun on an episode name. For years, people have been asking us of an episode of just the Farkisms, and there are so many, we had to break it up! 2020 is coming to a close and that means it's time for a long standing tradition here on Trek Geeks! In 2015, we started to include our pre/post-show banter as a little clip after the end theme of the podcast and, since then, it's really taken on a life of its own. As we continue our celebration of Star Trek: Voyager's 25th Anniversary, this week we take a look that a character that came on board almost mid-way through the series but very quickly became nothing short of legendary. Born Annika Hansen, she was assimilated by the Borg at six years old. Eighteen years later, she would be separated from the Collective and become a valued member of the Starship Voyager's crew.
