"The Iron Claw" tells the unbelievable true story of the Von Erich wrestling family, from their soaring heights in the territory days of wrestling in Dallas, Texas, during the 1980s to their crushing lows, which resulted in unimaginable tragedy for the whole family. Director/Writer Sean Durkin felt a tremendous responsibility in bringing this well-known wrestling story to the big screen, and his cast, which includes Zac Efron, Jeremy Allen White, Harris Dickinson, and Stanley Simons, was more than up to the task to make sure they got the art of professional wrestling right as well as the personal and deeply felt story of a family torn apart by tragedy. "The Boys In The Boat" is a biographical sports drama directed by George Clooney, based on the 2013 book of the same name by Daniel James Brown. After wowing audiences with her feature directorial debut "The Edge Of Seventeen" in 2016, writer/director Kelly Fremon Craig turned her eye toward Judy Blume's influential coming-of-age book and adapted it into the critically beloved "Are You There God? "Migration" is the latest animated film from Illumination, the animation studio responsible for the "Despicable Me" films, "Sing," "The Secret Life Of Pets," and most recently, "The Super Mario Bros. "Four Daughters" had its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in the Main Competition section, where it competed for the Palm d'Or and won the L'Œil d'or (Shared with "The Mother Of All Lies"). Director Kaouther Ben Hania's ("The Man Who Sold His Skin") film recently won the Gotham Award for Best Documentary Feature and has now been nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for Best Documentary Feature. "Memory" had its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival, where actor Peter Sarsgaard won the Volpi Cup for Best Actor for his performance in Michel Franco's latest film. Acting opposite Jessica Chastain, Sarsgaard convincingly plays a man with dementia in a surprisingly uplifting human drama and love story where light can be found in the sometimes darkest places. Joel Kinnaman is no stranger to the action film genre. After starring in large films such as the 2014 "Robocop," both "Suicide Squad" and "The Suicide Squad" and the television series "Altered Carbon," he may have found his most physically and emotionally demanding role to date in legendary director John Woo's newest film "Silent Night."
