"The Wonderful Story Of Henry Sugar," based on the 1977 short story of the same name by Roald Dahl, had its world premiere at the 2023 Venice International Film Festival, where it received positive reviews for filmmaker Wes Anderson bringing his trademark cinematic style to the short film format. It is the second film adaptation of Dahl's work directed by Anderson, following the Oscar-nominated "Fantastic Mr. Fox" in 2009.
