The timeline he gave was that Boelter was already in the house and on his way OUT of the house when the 2 deputies arrived.  Then we get the US Attorney Joe Thompson’s account of the timeline and it was different. So according to the US Attorney a shootout basically took place and then he ran back into the home and fled out the backdoor.  Then the manhunt ensues. When the deputies arrived at the scene, the door hadn’t been opened yet and that Boelter was still outside. I doubt that anyone at this point will openly say that the U.S. should commit to an increased troop presence in the Middle East to support Israeli operations against the Islamic Republic; Donald Trump in particular knows that a fresh ground war is political poison. No, we’ll start with air support, and maybe some bunker-busters, because, for all its vaunted military-industrial base, somehow Israel just can’t make a bunker-buster big enough to get to those reactors. The Islamic Republic will, of course, try to rebuild; Israel and its supporters will be committed at first to a policy of “mowing the grass,” of conducting strikes along an indefinite timescale to prevent an Iranian nuclear program. Iran will retaliate in an asymmetrical and ugly fashion, inviting further sessions with John Deere and the Weedwacker and justifying further American commitments of support to Israel. At the same time, Iran will harden its resolve to acquire a nuclear deterrent, leading to more of the same. The ongoing expense and festering chaos from “mowing the grass”—especially if any of Iran’s asymmetric retaliations involve, for example, terrorism in the American homeland—will always tend to encourage policymakers to find a more permanent solution: regime-change. At that point, we will have come a long way from air support and a few loaner bombs. At this point and time we better PRAY the Iranians don’t have a nuke. You have to remember what Hillary did in Libya matters today. Obama told the Libyans and Gaddafi to stand down and disarm and all would be fine. Gaddafi made the mistake of turning over his weapons to NATO and the US. What happened to Gaddafi? So they won’t relinquish their weapons because history proves you surrender your weapons to NATO, you die. Does the Russian Federation want to supply the nuclear device that will kill all of Israel?  The Trump administration is a move or two away from a tragic end. Do the California people offer up their children as cannon fodder for Trump’s army or do they secede?  Add to the difficulties of a permanent war economy the issue of raw scale. Israel is a nation of 9.7 million. Iran is a nation of 90.6 million. Perhaps it is still in Israel’s best interests to fight this war—although we’re doubtful—but it’s a big bite to chew. If you move to a foreign country though, you should assimilate.  I regard Hispanics as similar to what Arabs are like to France. Though our historical relationship is far less contentious – Hispanics were never colonized by Americans like Arabs were by France – and Hispanics are far better assimilated than the Arabs are in France, there still exists a substantial percentage of Hispanics – I’d say about 30 to 40 percent – who never did meaningfully assimilate. They see themselves first and foremost as members of their blood tribe, only to suddenly call themselves Americans when it benefits them to do so. They’re what I like to call “Fair Weather Americans.” Of course, many of them are also illegals. But even the ones who aren’t, even the ones who are citizens, aren’t American in any real sense. The brothers were previously sentenced in 1996 to life in prison without the possibility of parole for the double murder of their parents. They have served in prison for 35 years. These boys were convicted in a time where people really didn’t understand or realize that young boys, especially in California were abused sexually. Private Jet Service – can cost you $10,000-$20k a flight. If you actually had to pay for flight, is that the real cost w/o government subsidies?  This is very much like the property taxes that subsidize the public school system.  Have our children gotten smarter?  So we know that throwing money at things doesn’t make it better or more efficient.  54m   Pharmaceuticals  If you don’t have insurance, one tube of psoriasis medicine runs you about $950 per tube. With insurance and a $50 co-pay it will run you about $75. What does health insurance actually pay for? How much do you pay a year in insurance premiums?  Is it a free and fair system? The global conversation is primarily religious and not secular. When Rome grows wobbly, there is great concern, not just among our number, but all over the world.  It is because the Catholic Church matters. It has mattered since history was split in two and Our Lord founded His Church. As Lenny Bruce used to say, the Catholic Church is the only “the Church.” When anyone says, “the Church,” they are talking about us. Have you ever noticed how obsessed the world is with us? The world cannot get enough.
