The  THP officer determined that Abrego Garcia was operating the vehicle without a valid driver’s license and [and] Abrego Garcia [or one of his seven passengers] was on a terrorist watch list, but could not locate Abrego Garcia on a deportation list.  THP “called the FBI, which was then led by former Director Christopher Wray under the Biden administration. The FBI … requested THP release all eight individuals and that the THP officers complied with this request.” Kash Patel has to know about this! As for Garcia, police recognized his clothing as “indicative of Hispanic gang culture,” and that he was a “member in good standing with the MS-13.” The same confidential informant told police that Garcia had the rank of “Chequeo” and the moniker “Chele.” In addition, the arrest record shows that Garcia was by his own admission an illegal alien from El Salvador who had entered the U.S. by walking across the border near McAllen, Texas, in March 2012. At the time of his arrest in Maryland while loitering outside a Home Depot, he had $1,178 in cash on him. She went to jail for 5 months over that one transaction. If you read that timeline I just shared w/ you, the correction was made at 10:34am. Someone, whoever leaked that headline earned millions. But one day, his neighbors said no more, and now he finds himself in the position of being unable to fertilize his land, or plow his fields, or harvest his crops. Even if he had kept his old tractors and implements, he sold off all his welding equipment and spare parts and raw materials, so repairing anything would be impossible. On top of that, he doesn’t remember all that much about repairing the equipment anyway because he hasn’t done it for years. So now he finds himself in control of once-fertile and productive land that he can’t utilize, and the people he used to rely on for help now refuse to lift a finger, because they see an opportunity to bankrupt their old neighbor and business partner, allowing them to buy up all that land for themselves at fire sale prices. That’s where America now is as a country. We stripped our economy down and sold it for parts, happy to have the cash in our pockets and ignorant of the possibility the good times could ever end.  Trump has understood these dynamics for decades, and is trying to reset our priorities to give us an economy that isn’t built on a foundation of paper. That requires resetting all of our trade relationships and recreating the conditions that built an economy and civilization that together were the envy of the world. All three branches of our government — legislative, executive, and judicial — have to respect the Constitution’s clear separation of powers. If one of them doesn’t, there’s no reason that the others should. If you have cities like Boston saying the Supremacy Clause means nothing then government is over right? Our borders are fungible.  If the Supreme Court can simply disregard the Executive branch’s constitutional authority and allow it to be usurped by an inferior federal court, which is what happened, then there’s no reason the Executive branch under Trump should pay any attention to what the Supreme Court says in this case, because it’s trying to assert an authority it simply doesn’t have. It is a sin against charity. They have to stop this. Secede – this is the wrong way to go about it. We transferred border control to the Feds, that was the agreement. If one state has to do it, then ALL states have to do it. Alito  is right to be stunned. Here is a case in which a district judge, Ali, is explicitly claiming for himself executive authority to disburse federal funds and determine the time and manner in which the funds will be disbursed — powers clearly vested not in the judiciary but in the executive branch, that is, with President Trump. Ali simply brushed aside the Trump administration’s argument that sovereign immunity barred the enforcement order and arrogated to himself the right to exercise executive powers.  This on its own should be reason enough for the Trump administration to ignore the Supreme Court’s decision to let the lower court’s order stand. But there’s other problems too, like the fact that the lower federal court in this case lacks jurisdiction. Contract disputes with the federal government are only supposed to be heard by the Court of Federal Claims, not a D.C. district judge. Among other things, this means Ali’s order requires President Trump to violate existing federal law. I’m going to say this again, less censuring of those like Al Green and more firing and impeaching.  You have time to censure Al Green, you have time to impeach Judge Ali. Will Judge Roberts go to the White House and force President to write the check? This is going nowhere b/c Trump won’t write that check. The most serious problem, though, is this pernicious notion that any district judge, anywhere in the country, can dictate to the executive branch what it must or must not do, under the guise of issuing a temporary restraining order or a universal injunction in a pending case.  Biden just ignored SCOTUS ruling on Student Forgiveness did he not? TSA screening accomplishes nothing except to waste 400 million hours of Americans’ time every year. Four hundred million hours. Instead of trying to resolve an unresolvable contradiction, Western policymakers should acknowledge the starkness of the Minsk conundrum. Minsk-2 is not an easy document to grasp. The product of hasty drafting, it tries valiantly to paper over yawning differences between the Ukrainian and Russian positions. As a result, it contains contradictory provisions and sets out a convoluted sequence of actions. It also has a gaping hole: although signed by Russia’s ambassador to Ukraine, Mikhail Zurabov, the agreement does not mention Russia – an omission that Russia has used to shirk responsibility for implementation and maintain the fiction that it is a disinterested arbiter. Nine of the agreement’s 13 points cover conflict management: a ceasefire and the pullback of heavy weaponry from the contact line (articles 1 to 3); an amnesty for those involved in the fighting (article 5); an exchange of hostages and unlawfully detained persons (article 6); humanitarian assistance (article 7); the resumption of socio-economic links between Ukraine and occupied Donbas (article 8); the withdrawal of ‘all foreign armed formations, military equipment and also mercenaries’ from Ukraine, and the disarmament of ‘all illegal groups’ (article 10); and the activities of the TCG (article 13).
