ANSWER: Many federal government agencies and programs rely on annual funding appropriations passed by Congress. Every year, Congress must pass, and the President must sign budget legislation for the next fiscal year, consisting of 12 appropriations bills, one for each Appropriations subcommittee. Congress has not yet enacted any of the 12 bills for FY 2025 that make up the discretionary spending budget. In a “shutdown,” federal agencies must discontinue all non-essential discretionary functions until new funding legislation is passed and signed into law. Essential services continue to function, as do mandatory spending programs. What a better way to send Kamala back to the White House to do some work. This is what drives me crazy about all of this. Speaker Johnson has all the cards. Shut the damn thing down, tell Biden and Harris to go stick it you aren’t getting any deals. Your administration is out of control, the spending is out of control and we are going to get it under control. This is the CONSTITUTIONAL way to do it. The Teamsters did  a phone poll. Traditionally they endorse Democrats. Every cycle our leaders vote Dem but the memberships aren’t buying it. Sheetmetal Workers International – we merged unions several years ago with the railroads. So you are correct our leadership is always pushing Democrat and the members are pushing back and going Republican. The only people that vote the way the Union tells them to vote are those that only vote for President and they just aren’t really paying attention. The Union will provide a full ballot for us on who to vote for. Seventeen percent (17%) of voters believe America would have been better off if former President Trump had been killed in last week’s attempted assassination. That figure includes 28% of Democrats who say that America would have been better off if Trump had been assassinated. Another 24% of Democrats were not sure. Fewer than half (48%) of Democrats could bring themselves to say that America would not be better off if the opposing party’s candidate for president had been assassinated. To make those groupies happy they kicked Ivanka off the plane so he would have more publicity going out. I don’t support Ivanka’s husband but you have to look at the animal you have. Trump needs the older daughter figure in his life. He needs a female role in his life and Melania doesn’t care enough about politics to be that person for Donald.  When that gap opened you have people like Conway and others that stepped in. The term that has been used is Laura Loomer has flown too close to the sun. Unless you were in the top tie of people, you are no longe in the circle. Hale, who was 28-years-old when she died, was born a biological female, but identified as a transgender male at the time of her attack. She often signed journal entries using the name Aiden. MNPD officers, accompanied by agents from the FBI and the ATF, seized 20 additional journals written by Hale between 2007 and 2022 at the Nashville residence she shared with her parents during a legally authorized search on the afternoon of March 27, 2023, Those journals are said to contain about 1,000 pages. In addition, numerous videos, a suicide note, and duplicate thumb drives containing information she may have wanted police to find were seized that afternoon. In various entries that referenced her mental health, Hale confirmed her desire to  transition genders, revealed a purported autism diagnosis, claimed she was not “bi-polar,” and wrote that she once called a phone number associated with a Suicide Prevention Helpline five times in one day.  In other entries, Hale wrote extensively about her gender identity, including a three-page entry the killer titled, “My Imaginary Penis,” in which she wrote about expressing sexual fantasies with stuffed animals. Rather than an ideologically driven composition, the “manifesto” — comprised of The Covenant Killer’s 2023 Journal, the spiral notebook found in her car, and the 20 journals written between 2007 and 2022 seized from her residence — is better understood as a collection of writings in which Hale sporadically wrote her thoughts in the months and years preceding her devastating attack. A general IVF session, typically there are 10-15 eggs extracted at that one time. Those are babies, if life begins at conception, you have created life. I know a set of triplets conceived out of IVF. The rest of the eggs that are fertilized are babies, that is life created. Say I’m speaking to someone and their child was conceived by IVF, I am not making fun of you, we are not going backwards in time we must move forward. Nothing good ever comes from this. Abortions are up 16% from 2017 (132,000 to 154,000). Public approval of legal abortion in almost all/most cases is also up from 54% in 2003 to 61% now. 16 states have codified abortion access. 4 of them + DC, at any stage of pregnancy. Assembly Bill 1840, authored by Assemblyman Joaquin Arambula (D-Fresno), would expand eligibility of the California Dream for All program, to be renamed under the bill to the Home Purchase Assistance Program, and remove any disqualifications based on an applicants immigration status. If approved, illegal immigrants can enter the lottery system under the program that gives 20% in down payment assistance up to $150,000. This year, out of 18,000 people who applied to the California Dream for All program, only 1,700 were chosen. The bill would greatly expand the number of applicants, due to the California Dream program targeting low to middle income first time buyers. If you are illegal wouldn’t you be by definition a first time home buyer? This is seriously going to mess up the statistics of first time home buyers. This will make more of them w/ a much higher entry price. It will add to that index and make it jump up $150,000 in other states.  This will be felt in every state not just California.  These stories just anger me so. How does an illegal obtain a Social Security number? They are going to bankrupt the Social Security system. The servers were forced to claim tips that they didn’t actually receive.  The entire restaurant industry had to change their systems to calculate this.
