In most cases the Speaker of the House of Representatives, does not normally vote. So the Speaker just adjourns, reads votes and does procedural things. He rode in on his black horse to cast the deciding vote. He casts the tying vote.  233 year history this has never happened. The House passed a reauthorization of the controversial spying program for two years by a vote of 273–147. That final passage came after an amendment by Rep. Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.) to require a warrant to query Americans’ communications and other data failed in a rare tie vote. Mr. Johnson, who, as speaker, doesn’t always vote, cast the decisive vote that killed the proposal, prompting outrage and condemnation from some conservatives. “Remember, that’s how we killed terrorists. That’s how we stopped terrorist plots on US soil. That’s why we haven’t had another 9/11 since that terrible tragedy.” – Speaker Mike Johnson There were 86 Republicans that voted AGAINST this amendment. Steve Scalise from Louisiana is among that number. Stefanik is also among that number. You can call your member of the House, and ask them to add this amendment to FISA. Rep Andy Biggs, AZ on FISA – 3.4 million warrantless searches of American’s private communications. In just one year the FISA court reported there were 278,000 improper searches on American citizens, 19,000 improper searches of donors to a congressional candidate. There is no shortage of spying authority abuses by the weaponized FBI. HEADLINE: FISA Reform Failed Because The Whole Point Of Section 702 Is To Spy On Americans by John Daniel Davidson As it stands now, the law, which is set to expire April 19, allows U.S. intelligence agencies to spy on foreign nationals based overseas, but it also lets the FBI comb through the massive amounts of data the intelligence community collects and gather information about American citizens. These are known as “backdoor searches,” and an unlikely coalition of conservative Republicans and left-wing Democrats want to change how these searches are conducted. Specifically, they want to require that the FBI obtain a warrant before searching Section 702 data for information about Americans — a reasonable reform. The intelligence community, and the members of the House Intelligence Committee over whom they have influence, oppose this. The most straightforward answer is that the main purpose of the intelligence community’s surveillance programs isn’t to spy on terrorists or foreign adversaries overseas, it’s to spy on American citizens. So of course the intelligence community opposes FISA reforms that would make it harder to spy on Americans.   Donald Trump Trial NYC Begins  He is the first president EVER forced to stand for a civil trial. He is required to be in the courtroom today. He has to be there to watch Cohen perjury himself. He has to be there for all of this sham trial. He is the nominee for the Republican party. Simpson Died on April 10th He was known for his NFL career and then subsequently he was on trial for killing his ex-wife Nicole Simpson and a waiter Ron Goldman. HEADLINE: OJ Simpson died the comfortable death in old age that Nicole Brown should have had by Moira Donegan  Five days before she was murdered, Nicole called a domestic violence shelter to ask what it would take for her to disappear to someplace where OJ couldn’t find her. By then, she had long been keeping evidence of his abuse, including photographs of her injuries and letters from him confessing to beating her, in a safe-deposit box at a bank. Nicole died just a few weeks past her 35th birthday. When her body was found, she had been stabbed seven times in the neck and head, and had sustained a six-inch gash across her neck that nearly decapitated her. A coroner found that she also had defensive wounds on her hands. No one had been willing to defend her while she was alive; she died trying to defend herself. He was one of the first sideline reporters on Monday Night Football. He got a string of roles in movies. He got all manner of commercials. He was the guy that ran through the airports to get to Hertz rental cars. For Nicole, at least, her death was the culmination of a years-long campaign of terrorism that OJ had waged against her since they met; it was the moment their whole relationship had been leading to. Among 47 reporting areas with data each year during 2012–2021, in 2021, a total of 622,108 abortions were reported, the abortion rate was 11.6 abortions per 1,000 women aged 15–44 years, and the abortion ratio was 204 abortions per 1,000 live births. Similar to previous years, in 2021, women in their twenties accounted for more than half of abortions (57.0%).  Nearly all abortions in 2021 took place early in gestation: 93.5% of abortions were performed at ≤13 weeks’ gestation; a smaller number of abortions (5.7%) were performed at 14–20 weeks’ gestation, and even fewer (0.9%) were performed at ≥21 weeks’ gestation.  Early medication abortion is defined as the administration of medication(s) to induce an abortion at ≤9 completed weeks’ gestation, consistent with the current Food and Drug Administration labeling for mifepristone (implemented in 2016). In 2021, 53.0% of all abortions were early medication abortions.  Use of early medication abortion increased 3% from 2020 to 2021 and 137% from 2012 to 2021. Just from the sheer advantage points of the American youth, are these the actions of a  moral society? We don’t even expect our youth to have self control any longer. These numbers prove that. This generation is corrupt. They are now maturing in an immature way. The ‘will of the people’ is to be single, childless and child-like. It also commended the House of Representatives for passing Born Alive legislation. “What happened Monday was an abandonment of five decades of Republican promises of federal opposition to abortion. The pro-life movement needs to recognize, lucidly, that we have suffered a major defeat, one of the worst in the movement’s history.” – C. Joseph Doyle This is a grave error here and if he doesn’t correct it, he will lose the core of the pro-life constituency that he had back in 2016. The Evangelical stance on abortion is the right one. Douglas by John Daniel Davidson  By taking this stand, that abortion should not be a federal issue, Trump has not just betrayed his pro-life supporters but taken the side of Stephen A. Everyone was very excited about this congress produced something that a congress would actually produce. The speakers were wonderful. There is a lot of life created in the embryo stages that is just left frozen forever or flat out killed or ‘disposed’ of. There is an industry called Big Fertility out there. 27m Joe Biden & Student Loans This is a straight up bribe. Biden is saying this as though this is all his money! SCOTUS said he couldn’t do this but here we are. So how is Biden getting away with all of this? They are playing 2024 as if there are 2 groups they have to win. Group 1 – 18-40 year old women that simply want to abort any baby they want to. Group 2 – 18-40 year old college graduates that have mountains of debt w/ part-time jobs. The latest stat – 1.78 latest female fertility rate. That is what we have right now in the United States. It takes 2.0 to tread water to keep our population.  The fact we have no people running on this is alarming.   SEGMENT 2   The Rapture That Didn’t Happen Marshall Applewhite – self-proclaimed prophet Marshall Applewhite was the leader of the Heaven’s Gate religious cult group. He died in the group’s mass suicide in 1997. The group experimented with several unusual diets and sex, drinking and smoking were forbidden (some male members, including Applewhite, were later castrated.) Lying and breaking the rules were considered major offenses. Uniformity was also important to Applewhite and Nettles—members all wore baggy clothing and had short hair essentially to mask gender and sexuality. 46m Eclipse  Static Electricity A telescope was set up to measure cosmic background radiation. They downloaded the data and it came back with the exact same results. Earth is RIGHT SMACK in the middle. In 2012 they did this experiment ONE MORE TIME and guess what? They got the exact same result. Imagine that! As of 12 March, 247 Israeli soldiers have been killed in Gaza with 1,475 injured since the start of the ground operation, Israeli army data shows. They are just arbitrarily killing these people.  They are even killing aid workers. They are all lying about what has happened and what is happening. What is the big deal? If I want to go to a cigar website I have to verify my age. Same with any alcohol website. There is no ID required you just have to check a box that says I am 21 years of age or older.  So if you want porn out of your state, pass legislation for age verification.  This happens in any state where Pornhub has to be held accountable. A STATE legislature has undone what the SCOTUS did in the mid 70’s stating porn is free speech. People who go to the site are now greeted with a long message from the company railing against the legal change as “ineffective, haphazard, and dangerous.” The company calls for age verification by the makers of devices that let people on the internet, instead of individual websites. How is this age verification ‘dangerous’? How do they know that you are using Pornhub if you are in Texas? IP tracking that is how. This is how Google tracks you and ‘suggests’ other sites for you. Every move you make on the internet is being recorded.  When people realize the gravity of what these sites are gathering from you while you are on them, it will scare you so badly you will bail on them. No injured party. So how can remorse be shown? Trump can just appeal this right? What does an appeal look like? He can appeal the verdict to an appeal court but he still has to pay. He will have to post money to appeal, so he will have to post a portion of that $364 million. He will have to put a bond up equal to $364 million. So who will bond someone that kind of money? I think it is a terrible government system to live under but we do live under it currently. So we must attempt to make a difference. Trump has argued he is entitled to absolute immunity from criminal prosecutions involving actions he took as president. It’s an “audacious” defense, Marcus snarls. But the columnist insists it’s “bordering on unconscionable” that a federal appeals panel has yet to render a decision on Trump’s claim. It’s been nearly a month, after all.  So this happened yesterday – there is still a panel that will hear his appeal. If the panel refuses he will appeal to the Supreme Court. The mistake was made when SCOTUS refused to hear the appeals coming out of PA, NC, MI, and WI on mail-in ballots. They should have heard these cases. If they would have taken that case, none of this would have happened. The Biden Coup would have failed it they would have heard this case. If Roberts would have taken the case and settled this once and for all, they wouldn’t be facing any of this. State Legislatures make time, place and method of voting…not the people.  Here is where it gets really interesting.  Jonathan Turley: This is the result some of us predicted. The panel was very skeptical of these arguments. What former President Trump was advancing was a sweeping and unprecedented claim of immunity, and it’s not surprising that this panel rejected it. The interesting thing about this opinion is that they cite the impeachment and quote from it as saying that the president sought to incite this effort to overturn the election. And that’s going to go forward. The most practical impact of this appeal was indeed the delay that it caused. It was very important for the Trump team to try to push this trial back. They succeeded in doing that, as you mentioned. Now, the next stage here is that they can ask for review of the entire court, what’s called en banc petition. That has to be reviewed and voted on even if they reject it, and that will take some time. And then they will no doubt appeal to the Supreme Court, which now has a considerable stack on the desks of these justices, including election-related cases.  The interesting dynamic about this case is that Jack Smith is telling every court it’s absolutely urgent that we move this trial forward. And he made it clear that he wants this president tried and convicted before the election. The Supreme Court clearly didn’t share that urgency. It refused to do that. And so it’s not clear that they’re going to feel even greater urgency now. The March date is not on the calendar anymore. And as we move towards the election date, it gets more controversial to have a trial of this kind within a couple of months of the election. So we’ll have to see how the Supreme Court deals with this. The outcome is not surprising for many of us, but what remains the unknown is how this will change the schedule and dynamic of the case. The interesting thing about the Mexicans hired on the race track back in the 90’s, these were by and large good people.  Most of them would wire most of the money they made back to Mexico.  They would come and work for 6 months or so and then they would go home. We had ICE raids on the race track all the time. You’d hear the siren and you’d know that ICE had arrived. My point is most Americans wouldn’t be bothered by immigration like that.
