They prayed rosaries. They sang hymns. They prayed the litany of the Sacred Heart on their knees! The crowd was super diverse – whites, blacks and hispanics all joined together w/ ZERO violence.  No Los Angeles bishops attended. The archbishop himself certainly wouldn’t have dared show his face. Originally, the prayer rally was going to start with a procession from the Cathedral in downtown L.A. to the stadium. It was called off. Why? Because the archdiocese, in their quest to “remain neutral,” refused to allow devout Catholics who were traveling from all over the country to park their cars in their huge, cavernous parking lot. We are still sending our men and women into undeclared wars to die. For what? What is all of this for? The only person that ever called them out was Ron Paul and Walter Jones.
