The C.O.W.S. Compensatory Call-In 05/13/17
The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly Compensatory Call-In. We encourage non-white listeners to dial in with their codified concepts, new terms, observations, research findings, workplace problems or triumphs, and/or suggestions on how best to Replace White Supremacy With Justice ASAP. We'll use these sessions to hone our use of words as tools to reveal truth, neutralize White people. We'll examine news reports from the past seven days and - hopefully - promote a constructive dialog. #ANTIBLACKNESS U.S. politics were frantic after President Trump fired FBI director James Comey. The termination comes after months of speculation about the bureau's probe of former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and how their inquery influenced the November election. The world celebrated after Marine Le Pen, the French presidential candidate often labeled as Racist and compared to Trump, was soundly trounced in the presidential election. After decades of political activism by freedom fighters like Fannie Lou Hamer and Medgar Evers, the ACLU charged the black Mississippians live under a state of siege and White Supremacist domination. Charles Barkley and former C.O.W.S.'s guest W. Kamau Bell lead this week's counter-racist media coverage. Both black male entertainers have fresh network shows that explicitly discuss Racism's impact on black people. #AnswersForMiriamCarey INVEST in The COWS - http://paypal.me/GusTRenegade CALL IN NUMBER: 641.715.3640 CODE 564943# The C.O.W.S. archives: http://tiny.cc/76f6p
The C.O.W.S. Coretta Scott King: MY LIFE, MY LOVE, MY LEGACY Part 7
The Context of White Supremacy hosts the 7th study session on the 2017 autobiography of the late Coretta Scott King, My Life, My Love, My Legacy. It's been over a decade years since Mrs. King passed away in early 2006. Before her death, the civil rights icon documented her life with legendary journalist, Rev. Dr. Barbara Reynolds. The New Orleans Tribune advises everyone to read this book, calling it a timely read for the current climate of malice and "emboldened" White Supremacy. Last week's session chronicled Mrs. King vigorous campaign to construct the King Center in honor of her slain husband. Demonstrating phenomenal black self respect, she advocated to make sure that a substantial number of black contractors were hired in constructing the center. Mrs. King detailed how Southern Christian Leadership Conference members opposed at her effort to build the center because they felt it siphoned funds from other civil rights organizations. She also described being flattered and amazed at the "love" she experienced while visiting "white European countries!" Tragically, the book also details the murder of Dr. King's mother and the suspicious death of his brother, AD; the deaths suggest the entire King family may have been under direct white supremacist attack. We'll compare this text to other autobiographies covered during the book club - Maya Angelou, Assata Shakur, Malcolm X. #AnswersForMiriamCarey INVEST in The COWS - http://paypal.me/GusTRenegade CALL IN NUMBER: 641.715.3640 CODE 564943#
The C.O.W.S. Workplace Racism 05/11/17
The Context of White Supremacy hosts our Thursday weekly caucus on Workplace Racism. The purpose for this program is to refine non-white people's problem-solving abilities and to fine-tune how black people think, speak, act and manage emotions while on the job. Any listeners who've figured out the optimal method to reduce conflict with White and/or non-white co-workers, dodge demotions, write-ups, terminations or other abuse we experience under Racist labor conditions should be first to dial in and share particulars. We always welcome the experiences of "black entrepreneurs;" please, let us know how being "self-employed" changes your contact with Whites on the job. We'll hear counter-racist suggestions from listeners as well as individual reflections from your own work environment. Gus recommends Victims of Racism document important workplace events. Writing down your thoughts and workplace occurrences is more trustworthy than memory, and the act of writing can help clarify your thinking. We'll also ask that non-white listeners share vital segments of the policy and procedure from your current place of employment. #AnswersForMiriamCarey INVEST in The COWS - http://paypal.me/GusTRenegade CALL IN NUMBER: 641.715.3640 CODE 564943# The C.O.W.S. archives: http://tiny.cc/76f6p
The C.O.W.S. w/ Dr. Howard Stevenson: Promoting Racial Literacy
Dr. Howard Stevenson visits The Context of White Supremacy. The Constance Clayton Professor of Urban Education and Professor of Africana Studies at the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Stevenson constructs practical strategies to teach "emotional and racial literacy skills to families and youth." His areas of expertise include: African-American psychology, racial/ethnic socialization and negotiation, racial literacy and violence prevention. We'll examine his 2014 book, Promoting Racial Literacy in Schools: Differences That Make a Difference, which provides a process to "resolve face-to-face racially stressful encounters that reflect racial profiling in public spaces, fuel social conflicts in neighborhoods, and undermine student emotional well-being and academic achievement in the classroom." A C.O.W.S. listener was recently in attendace for Dr. Stevenson's Missouri lecture and asked the professor if he thought Dr. Frances Cress Welsing's definition of White Supremacy was accurate. The C.O.W.S. Compensatory Call-In 05/06/17
The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly Compensatory Call-In. #ANTIBLACKNESS Two years after South Carolina enforcement official Michael Slager shot unarmed Walter Scott to death, the former officer plead guilty in federal court. Like fellow South Carolina native Dylann Roof, Slager remain behind bars for the rest of his life. While one Race Soldier may be criminally prosecuted for terrorizing with a badge, the officers who killed Alton Sterling during the summer of 2016 will not be criminally charged. There were a myriad of responses to the decision in Louisiana, including Louisiana State University's announcement that their student athletes should not wear school paraphernalia if they choose protest or publicly address the non-indictment. Days after whites mandated the recognition of the 1992 Los Angeles Riots, many across the country drew made paralells to Jordan Edwards - an unarmed 15-year-old black boy killed by enforcement officers in Texas. Like the beating of Rodney King, there's video footage of Edwards' final minutes of life. As of Friday, a murder warrant was issued for the arrest of Roy Oliver, the Race Solider who killed Edwards. On the other side of the globe, Marine Le Pen hopes to claim victory in this weekend's French presidential election. It could be the Donald Trump redux, as some Whites in France fear publicly supporting Le Pen could lead to accusations of racism. #AnswersForMiriamCarey INVEST in The COWS - http://paypal.me/GusTRenegade CALL IN NUMBER: 641.715.3640 CODE 564943# The C.O.W.S. archives: http://tiny.cc/76f6p
The C.O.W.S. MY LIFE, MY LOVE, MY LEGACY Part 6
The Context of White Supremacy hosts the 6th study session on Coretta Scott King's 2017 autobiography, My Life, My Love, My Legacy. It's been eleven years since Mrs. King's death. Before her transition, the civil rights icon collaborated with acclaimed journalist, Rev. Dr. Barbara Reynolds. The New Orleans Tribune recommends that everyone read this book, describing it as a timely read for the current climate of aggressive and "emboldened" White Supremacy. Last week's session chronicled the Dr. King's Chicago campaign for improved housing and public service for black residents of the "Windy City." Mrs. King describes the abysmal conditions of their shabby apartment, which was a better property than what most black Chicagoans were offered. Mrs. King also documented the unabashed terrorism they were subjected to by northern Whites. Last weeks segment also detailed the April 4th 1968 assassination of Dr. King. Mrs. King provides an unflinching description of her young children finding out that their father had been killed. Harry Belafonte, Andrew Young and others offered generous support and encouragement to the King family. Former Attorney General Bobby Kennedy, who authorized COINTELPRO surveillance of Dr. King, delivered extra phone lines to the King house to help Mrs. King handle the extraordinary volume of calls. We'll contrast this text to other autobiographies covered on the book club - Maya Angelou, Assata Shakur, Malcolm X. The C.O.W.S. w/ Sabrina Johnson Part 2: Remembering Dr. Welsing
The Context of White Supremacy welcomes the return of Ms. Sabrina Johnson. A longtime confidant and student of the late Dr. Frances Cress Welsing, Ms. Johnson has conducted her own counter-racism investigation and experimentation. We'll get her views on the March 2017 memorial for Dr. Welsing. Anthony Browder and Lorne Cress Love, Dr. Welsing's sister, were among those paid tribute to the Isis Papers' author and ambassador for Black Self Respect. We'll ask Ms. Johnson about Dr. Welsing's correct projection that Donald J. Trump would be shacked up in the White House for 2017. We'll also get her analysis of Coretta Scott King's new autobiography as well as the avalanche of "1992 Los Angeles Riots" commemorations. #AnswersForMiriamCarey INVEST in The COWS - http://paypal.me/GusTRenegade CALL IN NUMBER: 641.715.3640 CODE 564943# The C.O.W.S. archives: http://tiny.cc/76f6p

#ANTIBLACKNESS Racists turned back the clock a quarter century to re-visit the 1992 Los Angeles Riots. Whites made time for documentaries, articles, retrospectives and commentary on the lawless negro chaos that followed the acquittal of four Race Soldiers who bludgeoned Rodney King, who died in 2012. Many submit that the Los Angeles Police Department has improved dramatically over the last 25 years. This is also the second anniversary of Freddie Gray's 2015 death and the subsequent unrest in Baltimore, Maryland. Simultaneously, New York City and other regions debuted body cameras for officers this week, so that each traffic stop, arrest, and shooting will be archived. France's Marine Le Pen qualified for May's runoff election to determine the country's next president. The greatest tennis player in the world, Serena Williams, publicized her pregnancy only to be Racially Terrorized. Ilie Nastase, former top-ranked player and current Fed Cup captain, speculated about the amount of melanin Williams's child will have - the father is White. #AnswersForMiriamCarey INVEST in The COWS - http://paypal.me/GusTRenegade CALL IN NUMBER: 641.715.3640 CODE 564943# The C.O.W.S. archives: http://tiny.cc/76f6p
The C.O.W.S. MY LIFE, MY LOVE, MY LEGACY Part 5
The Context of White Supremacy hosts the 5th study session on the 2017 autobiography of the late Coretta Scott King, My Life, My Love, My Legacy. It's been more than a decade since Mrs. King passed away. Before her death, the civil rights veteran collaborated with veteran journalist, Rev. Dr. Barbara Reynolds. The New Orleans Tribune praised the autobiography, calling it a timely read for the current climate of flagrant hostility and "emboldened" White Supremacy. Last week's session chronicled the historic 1963 March on Washington D.C. Mrs. King shared her thoughts on females being ostracized at event and missing out on the chance to meet President John F. Kennedy. Deviating from chronological order, the book transitions from the August march to the November assassination of President Kennedy. Although previously mentioned in the text, the book does not discuss the September bombing of the Birmingham, Alabama church that killed four black girls as a bitter reprisal for Dr. King's "I Have A Dream Speech." Mrs. King exudes tremendous sorrow over Kennedy's death, describing him as 20th century White Jesus and a "friend" to the movement. Similar White Identification is on display when she mourns the loss of the two White Men killed along with James Chaney in 1964 as well Viola Liuzzo, a White woman killed in 1965. Mrs. King also notes that she and Dr. King underestimated the power and danger of J. Edgar Hoover, the FBI and the COINTELPRO operation targeting the black freedom fighters like she and her husband. We'll compare this text to some of the other memoirs we've covered on the book club - Maya Angelou, Assata Shakur, Malcolm X. #AnswersForMiriamCarey INVEST in The COWS - http://paypal.me/GusTRenegade CALL IN NUMBER: 641.715.3640 CODE 564943#

The C.O.W.S. Medical Apartheid in South Africa
The Context of White Supremacy welcomes Dr. Carla Tsampiras live from South Africa. The Primary Health Care Directorate at the University of Cape Town, Dr. Tsampiras characterizes herself as a "feminist, historian interested in how constructions of gender, 'race', and sexuality have shaped research into health and access to healing." A recent talk radio broadcast featured her as a panelist to discuss how racist health practices were used to maintain White Power in South Africa. We'll get her thoughts on the plot described in Harriet A. Washington's Medical Apartheid, where Whites plotted to poison Nelson Mandela to cripple the anti-apartheid effort. We'll also discuss the implications of the CRISPR technology - which is reported to allow unprecedented levels of genetic manipulation. #AnswersForMiriamCarey INVEST in The COWS - http://paypal.me/GusTRenegade CALL IN NUMBER: 641.715.3640 CODE: 564943# The C.O.W.S. archives: http://tiny.cc/76f6p

This program is uniquely crafted to encourage participation from Victims of Racism outside the United States and/or non-white people who are not able to join during our typical program time. Enforcement officials in Paris, France killed a non-white, non-black male. Chinese-French citizens protested and charge that the shooting was an act of Racism. Marine Le Pen remains Gus T.'s pick for the winner of the looming presidential election in France. Her campaign is a menagerie of gay Whites, conservative Whites and young Whites aligned to preserve White Power in France. We'll use these sessions to hone our use of words as tools to reveal truth, neutralize White people. We'll examine news reports from the past seven days and - hopefully - promote a constructive dialog. #ANTIBLACKNESS Fox News figurehead, Suspected Racist, and accused sexual predator Bill O'Reilly was terminated from his television broadcast position. He reportedly cashed out with more than $25 million in severance. Apparently, the 53% of White Women voters who supported Donald Trump were unwilling to help O'Reilly keep his job. Speaking of criminals, In California, a black male, Kori Ali Muhammad, allegedly killed three Whites as an expression of his fury about Racism. This coincidentally occurred on the same day of the debut showing of John Singleton's documentary on the 1992 Los Angeles Riots. The film depicted a number of Black Californians who voiced similar rage at White Supremacists. Other racist viewing options from the week include the premier of HBO's documentary on the medical exploitation of Henrietta Lacks, who had her genetic material stolen without her consent. On the opposite side of the earth, the French presidential election is this weekend, and the country may be poised to do what the United States wouldn't: elect a White Woman. The C.O.W.S. MY LIFE, MY LOVE, MY LEGACY Part 4
The Context of White Supremacy hosts the 4th study session on the 2017 autobiography of the late Coretta Scott King, My Life, My Love, My Legacy. Mrs. King passed away at the beginning of 2006. Before her death, the civil rights veteran collaborated with acclaimed journalist, Rev. Dr. Barbara Reynolds. The New Orleans Tribune praised the autobiography, calling it an appropriate read for the current climate of explicit animosity and "emboldened" White Supremacy. Last week's session chronicled the international attention heaped on she and Dr. King following their successful bus boycott in Montgomery. Globetrotting to see black people in positions of power as well as the "anti-colonial" campaigns on the continent and India greatly impacted Mrs. King and the myriad of other African Americans who traveled abroad. Mrs. King also explained the daily terror of wondering if her husband would be killed or maimed while being held caged in White southern jails. These fears explain the immense gratitude the King family felt towards John F. Kennedy who helped get Dr. King released from confinement in 1960. Mrs. King and many others think this was a watershed moment when black people abandoned the Republican party. Mrs. King also explained her efforts to balance being a mother, a wife, a civil rights activist and a professional. Already saddled with a federal death sentence for his 2015 massacre at Mother Emanuel AME Church, Roof was given 9 consecutive life sentences. In New York, Judge Sheila Abdus-Salaam, the first black female judge of New York State's Court of Appeals, was found dead in the Hudson River. Her death is being "treated" as a suicide. Abeku Wilson, a black male in Florida, is alleged to have killed himself and two former coworkers at the Equinox fitness club. Both of those killed are Racist Suspects. Wilson is suspected of committing this shooting as a result of being terminated from the fitness center earlier in the day. The C.O.W.S. MY LIFE, MY LOVE, MY LEGACY Part 3
The Context of White Supremacy hosts the 3rd study session on the 2017 autobiography of the late Coretta Scott King, My Life, My Love, My Legacy. It's been 11 years since Mrs. King passed away. Before her death the civil rights veteran collaborated with acclaimed journalist, Rev. Dr. Barbara Reynolds. The New Orleans Tribune highly recommended the autobiography, calling it an appropriate read for the current climate of open hostility and "emboldened" White Supremacy. Last week's installment covered the 1956 terrorist bombing of the King residence after Dr. King took control of the Montgomery Bus Boycott. Mrs. King had only been married to Dr. King for a short period of time when they were terrorized, and they had a 10-week old daughter at the time of the attack. Mrs. King describes refusing her parents' request that they flee Alabama. Listeners emphasized that the text omitted that some black people around King were armed to protect black lives. The book also articulated Mrs. King's fears when Dr. King was first arrested. She knew that Racists could easily kill her husband. The text also includes detailed history on Mrs. and Dr. King's parents - including Dr. King's father being stripped nude as a child and whipped by a White man. Many observers characterize this attack as signifncant deviation from President Donald J. Trump's campaign promises about abstaining from international military adventures. Speaking of domestic terrorism, the Trump administration announced they would review the Department of Justice's meddling into local police departments charged with bogarting Black citizens. The C.O.W.S. MY LIFE, MY LOVE, MY LEGACY Part 2
The Context of White Supremacy hosts the 2nd study session on the 2017 autobiography of the late Coretta Scott King, My Life, My Love, My Legacy. Mrs. King, who died in 2006, told her story to acclaimed journalist, Rev. Dr. Barbara Reynolds. The New Orleans Tribune highly recommended the new book, characterizing it a perfect read for the current climate of open hostility and "emboldened" White Supremacy. Last week's segment detailed the generations of terror Mrs. King and her Alabama family were subjected to. Racists burned down here house when she was 15, her great-uncle was lynched after being suspected of dating a White woman, and her father's sawmill was burned down when he refused to sell to a White man. Mrs. King provides ample detail of the love and black self respect her parents, Obadiah Scott and Bernice McMurry Scott, provided her. Mrs. Scott left Alabama to attend Antioch College in Ohio - the late Dr. Frances Cress Welsing attended the same school. Mrs. Scott describes the hardships of "dating" a White boy and the value she ascribed to having White roommates and making White friends. Even with all of this new found White validation and acceptance, Racist White educators would not allow Mrs. King to complete her course work by training in the Ohio public schools. Just like Dr. Welsing, Mrs. King recalled the White president of Antioch having a dog named "nigger." We'll use these sessions to hone our use of words as tools to reveal truth, neutralize White people. We'll examine news reports from the past seven days and - hopefully - promote a constructive dialog. #ANTIBLACKNESS James Harris Jackson, the Race Soldier who murdered an unarmed black male in New York City as "a practice run," was formally charged with committing an act of terrorism. After the public onslaughts against Congresswoman Maxine Waters and journalist and author April Ryan, racial hostility in the workplace became the subject of widespread discussion. Speaking of prominent black people being admonished in public, Dave Chappelle became the most recent Black person to be rebuked as a "transphobic" enemy of the "gay rights" agenda. The pending release of an HBO film depicting the life of Henrietta Lacks, a black female whose genetic material was stolen without her consent, continues to generate conflict between her black family members. The C.O.W.S. MY LIFE, MY LOVE, MY LEGACY Part 1
The Context of White Supremacy hosts the premier study session on the 2017 autobiography of the late Coretta Scott King: My Life, My Love, My Legacy. Mrs. King, who died in January of 2006, told her story to renowned journalist, Rev. Dr. Barbara Reynolds. The New Orleans Tribune praised the new book, describing it as a fitting read for the current climate of flagrant hostility and "emboldened" White Supremacy. The book archives Mrs. King determined effort to create a federal holiday in honor of her late husband, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. We'll learn details about her experience as a black mother, caring for children without the help of her slain husband. The book also documents her labor to establish the King Center - a museum which honors the life work of Dr. King. We'll compare this text to some of the other biographies we've covered on the book club - Maya Angelou, Assata Shakur, Malcolm X. #AnswersForMiriamCarey INVEST in The COWS - http://paypal.me/GusTRenegade CALL IN NUMBER: 641.715.3640 CODE 564943#
The C.O.W.S. Workplace Racism 03/30/17
The Context of White Supremacy hosts our Thursday weekly caucus on Workplace Racism. The motive for this broadcast is to fortify non-white people's problem-solving abilities and to bolster how black people think, speak, act and regulate our emotions while on the job. Any listeners who've discovered the optimal technique to minimize conflict with White and/or non-white co-workers, sidestep demotions, write-ups, terminations or other racial violence we experience while at work should be first to call in and share specifics. We always welcome the experiences of Black "entrepreneurs;" please, let us know how being "self employed" changes your contact with Whites on the job. We'll hear counter-racist techniques from listeners as well as individual reflections from your own work environment. Gus encourages victims of racism to record our workplace experiences. Documenting your thoughts and workplace incidents is more dependable than memory, and the act of writing can help filter your thinking. We'll also request that non-white listeners share important sections of the policy and procedure from your current place of employment. #AnswersForMiriamCarey INVEST in The COWS - http://paypal.me/GusTRenegade CALL IN NUMBER: 641.715.3640 CODE 564943# The C.O.W.S. archives: http://tiny.cc/76f6p
The C.O.W.S. w/ Rev. Jennifer Harvey #WhiteGirlsDoItBetter
Rev. Jennifer Harvey visits The Context of White Supremacy. A professor of religion at Drake University in Iowa, Rev. Harvey's areas of interest include "encounters of religion and ethics with race, gender, activism, politics, spirituality, justice, and any other aspect of social life in which religiosity decides to 'show up.'" Gus became aware of Professor Harvey's work following her New York Times piece, Are We Raising Racists? Rev. Harvey writes, "When we donâ??t talk honestly with White children about Racism, they become more likely to disbelieve or discount their peers when they report experiencing racism." Much of Professor Harvey's work seems to hinge on the idea that at least some White Supremacists can be rehabilitated. We'll ask her to provide evidence that some population of Whitefolks are willing to stop mistreating black people. She presents similar concepts in her other writing, including her 2007 publication, Whiteness and Morality: Pursuing Racial Justice through Reparations and Sovereignty. We'll ask if Rev. Harvey can share ways that she has practiced Racism and what she does - besides writing - to end global White Terrorism. #AnswersForMiriamCarey INVEST in The COWS - http://paypal.me/GusTRenegade CALL IN NUMBER: 641.715.3640 CODE 564943# The C.O.W.S. archives: http://tiny.cc/76f6p

#ANTIBLACKNESS An attack in London, England left five dead and was promptly defined as an act of terrorism. The alleged non-white attacker was killed on spot. The incident prompted immediate discussions about US security measures to prevent similar violence. At the same time, James Harris Jackson admitted to traveling to New York City for the expressed purpose of killing black males. Jackson is charged with killing unarmed 66-year-old Timothy Caughman, allegedly because of his disgust with the promotion of dating between White Women and black males. Jackson admitted to harboring "hatred for black men" since he was a teen. Before her death, Dr. Frances Cress Welsing theorized that a rising number of White Men were inspired to terrorize black males as a result of seeing so much "interracial dating." The C.O.W.S. THE DELECTABLE NEGRO Part 9
The Context of White Supremacy hosts the 9th and final study session on Vincent Woodard's The Delectable Negro: Human Consumption and Homoeroticism within US Slave Culture. Mr. Woodard died in 2008, but his book was posthumously published in 2014. University of Texas A&M's Dr. Tommy J. Curry strongly encouraged C.O.W.S. listeners to invest time studying Woodard's work - stressing the relevance of Woodard's research on the rape of black males. Last week's segment chastised "Afrocentric thinkers and leaders, such as Haki Madhubuti, Louis Farrakhan, Ben Jochannan, and Molefe Asante" for failing to embrace black male homoeroticism. Many listeners noted a suspiciously different tone to the sixth and final chapter - branding it "pornographic" in it's depiction of sexual activity. Woodard commits significant time to Toni Morrison's depiction of black males being sexual violated by white prison guards - this again represents how the rape of black males and female remains a core aspect of white culture. The Delectable Negro helps us understand modern events like convicted serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer, the rape and murder of Dione Payne, and "black man cookies". #AnswersForMiriamCarey INVEST in The COWS - http://paypal.me/GusTRenegade CALL IN NUMBER: 641.715.3640 CODE 564943#

The C.O.W.S. Global Sunday Talk On Racism 03/19/17
The Context of White Supremacy hosts our monthly Global Sunday Talk On Racism. This program is specifically egineered to encourage participation from Victims of Racism outside the United States and/or non-white people who are not able to participate during our usual broadcast time. Political elections in France, Germany and the Netherlands have many anticipating a continued wave of "far-right," racist victories in the voting booth. The Netherland's Geert Wilders, who's anti-immigrant bombast was often compared to President Donald J. Trump, was defeated in this week's election. But France's Marine Le Pen remains a favorite to become the country's next president. Gus is also eager to hear commentary from our black British listeners about the kerfuffle raised by Samuel L. Jackson's remarks. The star of Pulp Fiction and Django Unchained criticized the importation of black Brits to portray African Americans in Hollywood. Daniel Kaluuya, the star of Get Out, took offense to the remarks - which may suggest that Racists instigated this controversey to promote conflict between black people. #AnswersForMiriamCarey INVEST in The COWS - http://paypal.me/GusTRenegade CALL IN NUMBER: 641.715.3640 CODE: 564943# The C.O.W.S. archives: http://tiny.cc/76f6p

As if more whiteness was needed, the northeastern seaboard of the United States was pillaged by a late winter blizzard. In Europe, Whites celebrated the defeat of bigotry as Geert Wilders was defeated in the Netherland's general election. Frequently compared to the current U.S. president, many suspected Wilders would repeat Trump's success. Reiterating the worthlessness of black life, a total of 10 days of suspensions were handed out to a Cleveland, Ohio dispatcher and patrol officer whose misconduct contributed to the 2014 shooting death of 12-year-old Tamir Rice. No one was ever criminally indicted for Rice's death. The library bearing eponymous honor to Cynthia Graham Hurd, one of the nine victims of the 2015 Mother Emanuel AME Church slaughter, was ransacked with Racist graffiti. The C.O.W.S. THE DELECTABLE NEGRO Part 8
The Context of White Supremacy hosts the eighth study session on Vincent Woodard's The Delectable Negro: Human Consumption and Homoeroticism within US Slave Culture. Mr. Woodard died in 2008, but his work was posthumously published in 2014. University of Texas A&M's Dr. Tommy J. Curry suggested this text on one his first visits to The C.O.W.S. - stressing the value of Woodard's analysis of the rape of black males. Last week's segment returned to Nat Turner's 1831 rebellion. The text focuses on William Styron's 1967 corrupt portrayal of Turner - portraying him engaged in "homosexual" activity. Gus noted a willingness to excuse Styron's dishonesty while scolding black males who rightly rejected Styron's work. Woodard explicitly and repeatedly indicts 1960's black males for being unable or unwilling to accept that homoerotic activity was a part of the enslavement of black people. A significant amount of the chapter diverted to discuss James Baldwin's work, his friendship with Styron, and his treatment by other black people. Many of the critiques seem similar to 21st century charges that black people are uniquely "homophobic." The Delectable Negro helps us comprehend modern events like convicted serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer, the rape and murder of Dione Payne, and "black man cookies". #AnswersForMiriamCarey INVEST in The COWS - http://paypal.me/GusTRenegade CALL IN NUMBER: 641.715.3640 CODE 564943#

With this confirmation, black people should remember Dr. Kenneth O'Reilly, a former C.O.W.S. guest and author of Racial Matters: The FBI's Secret File of Black Americans from 1960 to 1972; he explained how black people are always subjected to heightened suspicion and observation. The Context of White Supremacy hosts the seventh study session on Vincent Woodard's The Delectable Negro: Human Consumption and Homoeroticism within US Slave Culture. Mr. Woodard died in 2008, but this text was posthumously published in 2014. University of Texas A&M's Dr. Tommy J. Curry raved about this text on one his earliest visits to The C.O.W.S. - highlighting the importance of Woodard's exploration of the rape of black males. Last week's session continued the analysis of Harriet Jacob's Incidents In The Life of a Slave Girl. Woodard noted that US slave scholarship lacks accurate commentary on White Women's sexual violence against enslaved black females. Woodard emphasized that White Women would have learned from and witnessed generations of White men raping their black human property. Woodard writes that enslaved black females symbolized the "perfect emotional playground, the perfect vehicle through which young white women could work out and practice their need, their sexual hostility, and other types of aggression." Much like today, White Women, according to Woodard, nurtured and sustained "themselves by drawing upon the erotic and psychic energy of black women." Woodard also stressed how White kids began learning their role as plantation master as toddlers. The Context of White Supremacy hosts the sixth study session on Vincent Woodard's The Delectable Negro: Human Consumption and Homoeroticism within US Slave Culture. Mr. Woodard died in 2008, but this book was posthumously published in 2014. author and scholar Dr. Tommy J. Curry highly recommended this book on one of his earliest C.O.W.S. interviews - highlighting the importance of Woodard's research on the rape of black males. Last week's session expamined the questionable suggestions that Frederick Douglass may have subscribed to a more "fluid" notion of gender and sexuality - positing that some of the metaphors in Douglass' fiction convey homoerotic messages. The session also covered Harriet Jacobs' Incidents in the Life of a Slave Girl - one of the most popular slave memoirs published. Woodard stresses that Jacobs' work is essentially the only publication of the time period where anyone - much less a black female - openly discribes the rape of black males on the plantation. Woodard explores the psychological trauma of violent sexual emasculation - described by Woodard as when white masters treat black males like black women. Woodard continues to artfully indentify numerous examples of black bodies being "seasoned" and devoured by white "human fleshmongers." Mr. Woodard died in 2008, but this book was posthumously published in 2014. University of Texas A&M's Dr. Tommy J. Curry informed C.O.W.S.' listeners about Woodard's work - emphasizing the importance of Woodard's research on the rape of black males. Last week's session examined the execution and consumption of 19th century freedom fighter Nat Turner as well as former slave and abolitionist Frederick Douglass. Woodard stresses that Whites brutalized dozens of black people in Southhampton, Virginia - even those who had no knowledge of Turner's activities. Eating Turner's body and making family heirlooms from his remains, represents a core aspect of White culture. Woodard also examines the work of Frederick Douglass. Woodard speculates that Douglass was subjected to sexual abuse from White men on the plantation. This sexual violation along with Douglass' separation from his mother, exacted a lifelong tole on the revered orator. We'll continue to assess if the global White minority is shifting to a more explicit, more violent form of domination. #AnswersForMiriamCarey INVEST in The COWS - http://paypal.me/GusTRenegade CALL IN NUMBER: 641.715.3640 CODE: 564943# The C.O.W.S. archives: http://tiny.cc/76f6p
The C.O.W.S. Compensatory Call-In 02/18/17
The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly Compensatory Call-In. #ANTIBLACKNESS Damage to a damn in Oroville, California forced nearly 200,000 residents to evacuate for several days. These sort of infrastructure catastrophies could become more common if Whites are unwilling to invest in public resources for an increasingly non-white population. The fear of White Genetic Annihilation may have also inspired Benjamin McDowell, a Race Solider who allegedly hoped to "launch an attack 'in the spirit of Dylann Roof.'" Under arrest and facing felony gun chargers, McDowell shared Roof's anger that more Whites aren't actively fighting for the White Race. The family of Henrietta Lacks, a black female who died from cervical cancer more than a half century ago, began a legal fight to secure compensation from John Hopkins University in Maryland. White doctors stole cancer cells from Lacks' body without her consent. They've been reproducing her cells for decades, made an array of lucrative products, and tricked family members to plunder their genetic material as well. #AnswersForMiriamCarey INVEST in The COWS - http://paypal.me/GusTRenegade CALL IN NUMBER: 641.715.3640 CODE 564943# The C.O.W.S. archives: http://tiny.cc/76f6p
The C.O.W.S. THE DELECTABLE NEGRO Part 4
The Context of White Supremacy hosts the 4th study session on Vincent Woodard's The Delectable Negro: Human Consumption and Homoeroticism within US Slave Culture. Mr. Woodard died in 2008, but this book was posthumously published in 2014. NYU Press explains the why this book was written; "Scholars of US and transatlantic slavery have largely ignored or dismissed accusations that Black Americans were cannibalized." Woodard excavates primary sources, like the writings of Olaudah Equiano and Frederick Douglass, as well as black newspapers and slave advertisements from the antebellum period. Last week's session explored how an enslaved black male was literally quartered by his master as a form of discipline. Woodard also described multiple incidents where White sailors admitted to acts of cannibalism against black shipmates. Woodard stresses the White sense of shame about these events being publicized as well as the private White fraternity forged by the common experience of plundering and consuming black people. Many themes investigated in this book, are staple elements of White culture, visible in the 21st century - like convicted serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer or the delicious "black man cookies". The C.O.W.S. Thursday's Workplace Racism 02/16/17
The Context of White Supremacy hosts our Thursday weekly caucus on Workplace Racism. This broadcast is specifically designed to improve our problem-solving abilities and to refine how black people think, speak, act and control our emotions while at work. Any listeners who have figured out the best strategies to minimize conflict with White and/or non-white co-workers, avoid demotions, write-ups, terminations or the other usual troubles we experience under Racist labor conditions should be first to dial in and share specifics. We always welcome the experiences of Black "entrepreneurs;" please, report how being "self employed" reshapes your contact with Whites on the job. We'll hear counter-racist recommendations from listeners as well as individual reflections from your own work environment. Gus encourages non-white people to record your workplace experiences. Documenting your thoughts and workplace incidents is more dependable than memory, and the act of writing can help organize and clarify your thinking. We'll also request that non-white listeners share significant portions of the policy and procedure from your current place of employment. #AnswersForMiriamCarey INVEST in The COWS - http://paypal.me/GusTRenegade CALL IN NUMBER: 641.715.3640 CODE 564943# The C.O.W.S. archives: http://tiny.cc/76f6p
The C.O.W.S. Keith Beauchamp Wonders If Emmett Till Book Protects a Killer
Keith Beauchamp returns to The Context of White Supremacy. Maker of the 2005 documentary The Untold Story of Emmett Louis Till, Beauchamp's research into Till's 1955 lynching sparked the Department of Justice to re-open their investigation into the killing. Mr. Beauchamp worked with Till's mother, Mamie Till Mobley, for eight and a half years. We'll get Mr. Beauchamp's perspective on Timothy B. Tyson's new book on this subject, The Blood of Emmett Till. Tyson's primary talking point is his 2008 exclusive interview with Carolyn Bryant Donham, the White Woman who falsely accused Till of sexually accosting her. Ms. Donham admitted to Tyson that she lied. We'll discuss the 2007 grand jury that refused to indict Ms. Donham, as well as Mr. Tyson's decision to not inform Till's family about Ms. Donham's confession. #AnswersForMiriamCarey INVEST in The COWS - http://paypal.me/GusTRenegade CALL IN NUMBER: 641.715.3640 CODE 564943# The C.O.W.S. archives: http://tiny.cc/76f6p
