For months White Supremacists have been rallying in near the University of Virginia to protest the proposed removal of a confederate monument. During this past weekends protest, a White motorist drove a vehicle in to the crowd of demonstrators and killed a White Woman. In the midst of the chaos, numerous reports have painted the college town as if it's White residents deserve better and are certainly not Racist. White Mayor Mitch Landrieu threatened to hold people accountable for poor building or management of infrastructure.This week also marked the grimm three-year anniversary of the murders of Michael Brown Jr. and John Crawford III. Both were unarmed Black males, killed by White enforcement officers. No one was charged for their deaths. Brown's death sparked months of protests. Crawford was mostly ignored. Born in Martinique in 1925, Fanon became globally recognized psychiatrist and committed his 36 years of life to ending White rule. He fought for Algerian independence from French colonial oppression and black liberation world wide. Fanon also authored Black Skin, White Mask, which is a psychoanalysis of the perversions and neurosis of sexual activity between Whites and black people. Interestingly, Fanon himself was married to a White woman. The writer and psychiatrist died from leukemia the same year The Wretched of the Earth was published. Last week's session detailed how colonized people remain stressed and tense as a result of White domination. Fanon writes that for the native, "the electrode [remains] at his genitals," meaning that he is constantly subjected to lethal, sexually exploitative violence. The Context of White Supremacy welcomes the return of Joseph Gibson. An author and founder of KITABU Publishing, Mr. Gibson has committed years of his life teaching black children. He's presently a school principal at a mostly black school in Michigan. Gibson has researched and written about the role of White female teachers in the racist school system and the way black people are injured by racist concepts and lies, which violate our critical thinking abilities. His most recent texts, Why Nobody Wants to Teach Black Kids From High-Poverty Backgrounds: Beyond Blaming Bad Teachers, Traditional Racism, and Black Students Themselves, explores how pretty much everyone has been persuaded that black boys and girls are dumb and not fun to educate. Years of teaching black children has given Gibson more than a decade to observe how educators and parents view the academic development of black children. Speaking of domination, a White St. Louis police officer settled a lawsuit claiming he was victim of racial bias. The Context of White Supremacy welcomes Dr. Vanessa Grubbs. A professor at the University of California San Francisco department of medicine, Dr. Grubbs is a kidney specialist with a medical degree from Duke University. Not limited to being a medical doctor, black mother and wife, Dr. Grubbs moonlights as a creative non-fiction writer. Weeks ago, she visited Seattle, Washington to discuss her new book, Hundreds of Interlaced Fingers: A Kidney Doctor's Search for the Perfect Match. Grubbs describes the romance between she and her now-husband, Richard. He suffered from kidney failure when they first met, and witnessing his aguish with dialysis treatment and shabby care from White doctors helped the Grubbs better understand how racism decimates black patients. She's written about racism and organ transplants for years. However, when having out in Seattle, she confessed that she had "planned not to talk about racism." The New York Times reports this move aims to resolve breach between Whites regarding whether "taxpayer money should pay for gender transition and hormone therapy for transgender service members." Race Soldiers are wisely using this controversy to advance conflation between "gay rights" and white supremacy. Former First Lady Michelle Obama opened up to a Colorado audience about a snippet of the racist abuse she and her family experienced while in the White House. ""Knowing that after eight years of working really hard for this country, there are still people who wonâ??t see me for what I am because of my skin color," said Mrs. Obama. Whites in Minneapolis widely circulated and praised images of Philando Castile's mother, Valerie, warmly embracing the Australian relatives of Justine Damond, who was killed this summer by Minnesota police. Kelly over allegedly holding young girls in a cult, Seattle Mayor Ed Murray remains in office after the local paper revealed Oregon social services found he had sexual molested a black foster child in the 1980's. Murray says he won't step down, and the big city mayor is facing no criminal charges. Speaking of convicts, Orenthal James Simpson was granted parole for his 2008 Nevada robbery conviction. He could be released later this year. Like "the Juice," another celebrated black person on the other side of the planet was lauded this week. South Africa held Mandela Day to praise the late Madiba's years of labor against apartheid/ White Supremacy. 6 African teens attending a robotics competition in Washington D.C. have been reported missing . A poet, author, musician and victim of White Supremacy, Scott-Heron died in 2011, one year before this text was published. He wrote and performed music that valued black lives and examined how the System of White Supremacy devastates black people. Legendary selections like "The Revolution Will Not Be Televised"  and "Whitey on the Moon" encourage many to credit Scott-Heron as being a hip-hop music pioneer. Last week's segment described how Scott-Heron joined Stevie Wonder for the 1980 "Hotter Than July Tour." Wonder used the concerts to boost momentum to establish a national holiday in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. There was a vague description of Stevie Wonder stopping the Boston show to discuss the city's history of terrorizing black people. This was the same time period when Ronald Reagan was selected president. Gil described shock and disbelief over Reagan's triumph that reminded several readers of the 2016 election of the current U.S. president. Last month, our black British participants shared timely analysis about the Grenfell Tower Fire, where more than 75 people died. In the subsequent weeks, Grenfell residents reported being stranded since the blaze. Additionally, a multitude of other British high-rises were found to be vulnerable to fire, causing thousands of residents to be forced from their houses while safety repairs are being conducted. Also in the United Kingdom, MP Diane Abbott attracted mamoth attention by reporting that she's routinely targeted by white terrorist attacks - including being daily branded a nigger. Incredibly, the police shooting of a Black citizen sparked the conflict fifty years ago. Speaking of race soldiers, in 2014, Chicago's Police Sgt. George Granias assaulted a Black female who had been arrested. Apparently, when not bludgeoning unarmed citizens who've not been conivcted, Sgt. Granias owns a litany of White Supremacist websites - like "NiggaDown.com" and "Niggerrefic.com." In fact, the release of this information has not hampered his continued employment. The week provided fresh options for summer entertainment that fuels racial healing and solidarity. War for the Planet of the Apes opened this week, where militant primates clash with humans again for supremacy. Former NRA president Charleston Heston isn't in this one. Away from the big screen, prize fighters Floyd Mayweather Jr.and Conor McGregor began their world promotional tour for their highly anticipated bout this summer. On Thursday, July 13th, Dr. Vanessa Grubbs visited Seattle, Washington's Third Place Books to discuss her fresh new publication,Hundreds of Interlaced Fingers: A Kidney Doctor's Search for the Perfect Match.Dr. Grubbs describes her black husband's struggle obtaining a kidney transplant and her mission to donate one of her own kidneys to save him. Along the way, Dr. Grubbs describes how Black people are predictably less likely to receive life-saving organ transplants than whites. This book discussion was held in a book store in hyper-White area of Seattle and moderated by a White medical doctor. The Suspected Racist facilitator asked no questions about Racism, which is a central theme of Grubbs's book. Following the presentation, Grubbs spoke with Gus, branded him a "militant," and confessed she had "planned not to talk about racism." First visiting the program in September 2014, Tyler is a White Woman who took a safari to Ferguson, Missouri after the police killing of unarmed Michael Brown Jr. She processed the killing as another illustration of White Supremacy and used the historic and tragic moment to huckster her book, The Wheat Money. The text details how she, a White Woman, lives a life of relative ease and comfort - getting checks in the mail for doing nothing. Conversely, her Black husband and the father of her daughter is a crack head. With explicit detail, Tyler explains how centuries of deliberate white terrorism orchestrated her husband's substance abuse problems. Most black citizens had their view of the fireworks obstructed by the numerous nooses Whites have recently brandished to terrorize and intimidate. White violence been so severe, a black male in Alabama, David Sadler, staged a faux hanging to protest the the barbaric abuse of black people. Fresh after the horrors of Flint, Michigan's water being poisoned, an increasing number of black employees at the Chicago Water Department charge that they've been subjected to a racially poisonous environment, denied seniority, and that black females were targeted for sexually crude verbal attacks. A class action lawsuit has been filed. In Virginia, the Klu Klux Klan has weekend plans for an armed rally in protest of a Confederate statue that's been scheduled for removal. Virginia is an open-carry state. Last week's session described how Gil's mother adjusted to being diabetic and how his mother's health scare made him leave his interview for the exclusive white high school in New York. Across the country, a black Muslim seventeen-year-old, Nabra Hassanen, was bludgeoned to death with a baseball bat after leaving a mosque. Her accused killer, Darwin Martinez Torres, was arrested and could face hate crime charges for the the slaughter. More than a year after three black female University of Albany students reported being assaulted by a drunken gang of white college kids only later to be themselves charged with filing a false report of racial abuse, a judge sentenced the students to probation, community service and a fine. "Professor of the practice of Christianity" at North Carolina's Duke University, Willimon served as dean of Duke Chapel and professor of Christian ministry for two decades. He's written over 60 books and holds honorary degrees from more than ten institutions. We'll investigate his 2017 publication, Who Lynched Willie Earle? Confronting Racism through Preaching. Professor Willimon writes about the 1947 lynching of twenty-four-year-old Willie Earle. White terrorists blamed him for the death of a White taxi driver and abducted the unarmed black male from a South Carolina jail. Earle was tortured and mutilated before being murdered. No one was convicted for the crime. Willimon's book explores how the religion of White Supremacy encouraged the lynching and enslavement of black people. Speaking of terrorist villains, former entertainer Bill Cosby's criminal trial began this week. 12 jurors were selected for Cosby's sexual assault hearing. 10 of the 12 jurors are likely White, which sparked OJ Simpson-like controversy and accusations of "the race card" being played. Before her transition, the civil rights icon reviewed her life and accomplishments with acclaimed journalist, Rev. Dr. Barbara Reynolds. The New Orleans Tribune encourages everyone to read this memoir, calling it a timely read for the current climate of hostility and "emboldened" White Supremacy. Last week's session detailed Mrs. King's counter-racism work in South Africa and here in North America. She disclosed frustrations with reports that Randall Robinson and Jesse Jackson were disatisfied with her involvement in the anti-apartheid effort. Trump claimed to the be the target of a "witch hunt" after gorwing accusations of wrongdoing. Speaking of allegations, former entertainer Bill Cosby gave a rare public interview and asserted that Racism motivated charges of sexual harassment against him. This "OJ Simpson" moment calls to mind the numerous times Cosby admonished Black people for blaming their troubles on whitefolks. Texas A&M's Dr. Tommy Curry hasn't been persecuted like Cosby, but the author and professor has been subjected to racial terrorism and threatened with lynching as a result of his 2012 review of the film Django Unchained. Betty Shelby, the White Race Soldier who killed unarmed black male Terence Crutcher in the summer of 2016, was exonerated of any wrongdoing. As of Friday, May 19th, she's still employed with the police department.
