Go ahead and make any adjustments to your body, releasing any tension or discomfort you may have, And invite your body to drop into a space of deep, relaxed awareness. Perhaps even imagining that you are slowly lowering into a soft pool of water, Allowing the rhythm of your breath to lull you into relaxation. And allowing the freshness of the water to soothe you. Breathe... PAUSE… See if you can imagine yourself sitting in this pool of calm water. You an hear the sounds of small waterfalls around you, Water flowing peacefully, Birds happily chirping, And the wind moving through the trees. PAUSE… The sounds calm you even further, And as the sunlight shines down upon you and kisses your face, You allow its warmth to penetrate you, To illuminate you at your core. PAUSE… If any thoughts or emotions arise, Imagine them as beads of water, rolling down your face and dropping into the pool around you, becoming one with the water. One by one, let those thoughts drop into the pool, dissolving their ability to hold your attention. And continue to come back to your breath, And how the water feels on your body as you expand with your inhale, And contract with your exhale. Breathe… PAUSE… You feel the water become warmer and as you look down at it, you realize it’s lighting up, glowing with a soft white light that illuminates the entire pool. You feel fresh and full of energy. You’re amazed at the power of this light and how good it makes you feel, So your eyes begin searching for its source, full of curiosity. It doesn’t take you very long to see that the light isn’t coming from the pool, It’s coming from you. You are the light. Your shine is causing the pool to glow. Your light is the source of this energy, this joy. PAUSE… You are the light. Rest calmly within yourself, And know that you are here today to shine on. It’s time to shed the excess, To strip away what doesn’t serve. PAUSE Tune in as it happens, Feel the lightening, the lifting, The easing of tension and strain. Limb by limb, cell by cell, Your body settles and calms, Paving the way for your mind to follow. PAUSE Your breathing changes as you go, Deeper, slower, fuller, Nourishing tired muscles, Feeding a tired brain, Soothing a tired soul, Embracing a tired heart. PAUSE Feel pride in that fatigue, Before you let it go. Let your mind smile At what you were willing to give, And let that inner smile widen As you realize what you gained in return. PAUSE Bring your thoughts back to your breathing, To its elemental magic and power. That breath is the key to restoration, A secret to finding yourself once again, Ensuring you’ll give tomorrow what it needs, By doing the same for yourself tonight. LONG PAUSE Feel the breath as you draw it, fresh and full of life. Feel the breath as you set it free, purposeful and strong. PAUSE Give in to that sinking feeling, Knowing it’s the good kind, The best kind, The kind that means you’re descending into peace, That you’ve come back to where you belong, As the day’s end approaches. PAUSE Think about your shoulders, Dropping gently toward the bed, About the relief they feel as burdens are set aside. Let that relief seep down to arms and elbows and hands. Gradually stretch each finger, And gently press your palms flat as they ground you. PAUSE Extend the feeling to the rest of your body, To weary legs and feet and toes. Release the tension in your back, The center of the body’s strength, Imagine light slipping down each vertebrae, Leaving a trail of warmth behind. PAUSE Go back to your breath, Hear it without listening, Follow it without questioning. Gratefully go where it takes you. It knows what you need, Even when you’re not sure. LONG PAUSE Take a long, slow breath, feel it fill your chest. When you’ve taken in all you can, exhale what you don’t need. PAUSE Peace is near now, Hovering just ahead, Waiting for you to claim it. Relaxation is yours now, Flowing through your muscles and tendons, Easing you toward sleep. PAUSE Peace comes to us in pieces, A chain of moments or decisions, Each one breaking ground for the next. You feel it like a soft cascade, Like rolling waves of serenity, Sent from a benevolent ocean of calm. PAUSE At first peace feels separate, Like a small target on the horizon, But the deeper we sink, The closer it appears, Until we can reach out with our minds And let it pull us into its arms. PAUSE You’re a different person in that space, A scattered soul returned to self. What seemed impossible just moments before Is now free to bloom and grow. Body, heart, and mind unite, Their shared pulse a lullaby. PAUSE So close your inner eye as well, The most watchful one of all. Thank it for its diligence, For keeping your essence intact, And remind it of tomorrow’s promise, Waiting beyond the solace of night. LONG PAUSE Pull in a deep breath and feel yourself expand. Push that breath out into the world and bask in your new openness. PAUSE Let your breathing chart the course, And feel the steady, comforting waves. The truth is in that rhythm, In the pulsing, beating all, And you lie at the center, Safe to rest in sweet refuge. LONG PAUSE Notice your shoulders melting in relaxation and your neck as it softens comfortably. LONG PAUSE Bring your awareness to your back and feel it opening and any knots or tension unraveling. LONG PAUSE And now, become aware of your lower body, your hips, legs, and feet as they release and unwind from any tension. LONG PAUSE Take a moment, and indulge in feeling relaxed and centered with a feeling of peace both inside and out. LONG PAUSE Now, see if you can imagine standing in the center of an old, native village. PAUSE And all around you there are huts with dried palm fronds as roofing, and the buttery scent of fry bread wafts through the air. PAUSE As you stroll through the village, you notice women with copper skin and black eyes that sparkle with stories. PAUSE The women glow in skirts and ponchos woven with intricate, banded designs in bright colors that call out to you. PAUSE After a moment, you see the women gather in a circle sitting on the ground, each with sweetgrass, palm fronds, and pine needles. PAUSE In unison, the women pick up the materials, and begin weaving them together. PAUSE Like a symphony, their hands sweep in and out, and around the basket bringing colors and geometric designs to life. PAUSE The women talk, weaving connections in the baskets and connections between themselves. PAUSE While watching the women wave, a woman with lively eyes and a soft smile sees you and beckons you to join the circle. PAUSE You plant yourself next to her, and stare in wonder at the partially made basket before you. PAUSE The woman takes your hands, and together, you begin dancing with your fingers, moving in and out and around the basket. PAUSE Colors like berries appear in the basket: reds, blues, and blacks. and diamonds and triangles come to life with each row of weaving. PAUSE While weaving, daughters of the women in the circle come with plates of piping hot fry bread stuffed with meat and sweet fillings. PAUSE You take a bite that melts in your mouth, and a harmony of tart and sweet flavors plays on your tongue. PAUSE As you delight in your fry bread, you notice the circle changes, and the women come closer to you and your basket. PAUSE Hands reach out and take your basket, adding layers of weaving and passing it on to the next pair of hands like a tribal dance. PAUSE When the basket circles back to you, there is one row of weaving left to add, PAUSE Gingerly, you thread the strands of sweetgrass into the basket, and when you finish, one of the women takes the basket and finishes the edges. PAUSE When the basket is complete, it is gently placed in the center of all the women, and each one gives it a blessing. PAUSE Take a moment and thank the women of the tribe as you ready to leave. PAUSE You begin to walk away when the woman with the lively eyes who helped you start the basket hands the basket to you. PAUSE Gratitude swells within you, and you thank the woman, who seems to understand you. PAUSE The woman nods and returns to her tribe, and you leave with the basket, feeling in the depth of your soul, that every strand woven into the basket Is a connection with these women. LONG PAUSE And, then imagine a vase appearing that can hold all the beautiful thought flowers while you relax and rest. LONG PAUSE Now, see yourself in a room where you can safely put away the vase, and gently close the door. LONG PAUSE The thoughts are safe, for now, tucked in the vase until you’re ready. Now, you can turn your attention to you. PAUSE In this moment, being ever present with your mind, body, and soul, envision a warm mist collecting at the end of the bed. PAUSE And staying with the mist, you feel its gentle heat skimming the bottoms of your feet. PAUSE And after a few moments, the mist moves slowly toward your feet and toes, blanketing them with a gentle warmth and deep, healing relaxation. PAUSE The mist warms and heals the strains on your feet and toes, bringing you comfort. PAUSE After a few moments, the mist moves to the ankles, encasing them in soft heat that eases the pressure on and around them. PAUSE The mist then travels to the calves sinking into the tight muscles and releasing them, relaxing you even more deeply. PAUSE When the mist reaches your knees, it forms a slowly spinning circle of warmth, healing and easing away any tension or pain. PAUSE As the calming warmth touches the thighs, both of the legs unwind into relaxation and melt into the bed. PAUSE Now, take in a cleansing breath and feel the mist as it dissolves into the hips and lower back. PAUSE Here, the mist takes its time gently massaging every muscle and wrapping them in mellow warmth. PAUSE As you breathe, each breath Intermingles with the mist and loosens the lower back and abdomen. PAUSE After a few moments, the mist moves up to the mid back, gently swirling through it, unlocking any tension and calming the muscles completely. PAUSE The mist softly rolls through the back to the core, opening it, and freeing it from any stress or tension. PAUSE Gently flowing into the chest, the warm mist expands the chest, filling it with deep, wonderful relaxation. PAUSE The mist slides into the upper back between and around the shoulder blades. As the mist gently penetrates the muscles, it takes the pressure off the back with gentle warmth. PAUSE The warming cloud settles around the neck and shoulders for just a minute, to soak into them and soothe them. PAUSE As the warmth rests in your neck, it unwinds the knots ever so gently and completely. PAUSE The mist moves up to the jaw, loosening it, so the jaw lightly drops in a wonderful release. PAUSE Now, envision the mild warmth caressing your cheeks and forehead, softly rubbing away the tension and stress.. PAUSE And the caressing moves to the top and back of your head with all the muscles giving into to the healing warmth of the mist. I know it can feel hopeless, When you see so much darkness, suffering, and fear bursting out of every news story, Every post. PAUSE… And love cannot be crushed by fear, Love cannot be driven out by hate. That seed of love inside of you is powerful, Its magic beyond comprehension, And from it, grows hope. A unwavering knowing that you can be better, That the world can be better. A belief that what you imagine in your dreams, You can create in your life. It’s all possible, When you let that seed of love grow, And you fill yourself with hope. PAUSE… So feel it now, That warm glow of hope deep inside of you, Humming with belief and inspiration. Feel that golden glow spread from your core to your heart, Your belly, Your hips, Your legs and your feet. Breathe… PAUSE… Surrender to this space of lightness, this space of freshness. Feel the spaciousness it creates inside of you. And allow your mind to be still, Directing away any thoughts or emotions that desire entry into this precious space. And just be here. Allowing clarity to come to you, Instead of you seeking it out. PAUSE… If you desire clarity on anything in particular, go ahead and silently ask your question in this space, letting go of the need for an immediate answer. And instead, just practice sitting in your calm place of stillness as your question marinates. PAUSE… For the next few minutes, allow yourself to simply be here, sitting in your space of stillness. If thoughts or emotions come up, that’s okay. Simply redirect them away from the doors of your special space. Watch them go by as you bring yourself back to the stillness. LONG PAUSE Let the stillness take over as you go deep inside, with tension dissolving and peace as your guide. LONG PAUSE Follow the peace as it spreads from head to toe, relaxing your shoulders and your back, your body as a whole. LONG PAUSE Now, envision a rosebud, straight and tall, waiting to blossom with its red velvet petals. PAUSE The rosebud travels deep to your inner garden; it reaches the heart where it wants to get started. PAUSE Slowly, the petals peek out, just a little at first, until the rose opens with a splendid burst. PAUSE Love cascades in your heart, when the rose bursts forth. You can feel it growing in your body all the way through your core. PAUSE You notice your skin takes on the fragrance of rose, and the feeling of love supports your repose. PAUSE And, intuitively, you know that if you touch someone’s hand you’ll transfer the love and feel it expand. PAUSE And then before your eyes, a purple aster blooms and journeys to your heart bringing faith and wisdom. PAUSE And from the aster’s center wisdom and faith are released, and a sense of trusting yourself more comes on with some peace. PAUSE So, take a few minutes and dive deeply inward, you hear “I trust myself” coming to you as a whisper. PAUSE Now, recognize the flowers of love and faith, and notice a daffodil appears gifting you with more traits. PAUSE Yellow daffodils shine light on what is the truth. They also bring forgiveness which can be freeing to you. PAUSE So the daffodil lights up the heart with what is honest and real and cozies up to the rose and aster creating an inner garden you feel. PAUSE So in a moment, the truth of your life becomes clear, and with love, you forgive mistakes and let go with no fear. PAUSE Now, white edelweiss joins in, filling up some heart spaces; it’s a flower of courage and not found in many places. PAUSE As it blooms, you know you’ve been a tower of courage, and you thank the edelweiss and let go of any worry. PAUSE You pause for a moment, gazing at the garden of your heart feeling the power of the flowers and what they impart. PAUSE Then, a marigold appears with orange petals in layers sparking creativity in you that you want to share. PAUSE In your mind’s eye, there’s a painting you paint, the colors swirl together and ignite your creativity once again. PAUSE Then a rose in a yellow that blossoms quite fair Fills your heart with joy, and then some to spare. PAUSE And it’s followed by a lily with peace in its aura bestowing its calm which, of course, you adore. PAUSE Now, your heart is healing with a rich flower bouquet that shares its gifts to ensure you’re more than okay. PAUSE And with gratitude abounding, you wrap up your bouquet, you know it’s there blossoming and ready for you, any day. LONG PAUSE Now, allow yourself to relax even more deeply, and as you continue breathing in cool, comfortable air, feel your body calm and become lighter, almost weightless in the sheets. LONG PAUSE The sheets are cool and crisp to the touch and they feel wonderful as they brush against your skin. LONG PAUSE Now, imagine a breeze with just a tiny hint of a chill lightly tumbling over your body, bringing your body to a comfortable temperature to sleep. PAUSE And the breeze lifts you ever so slightly off the bed so that it cools the expanse of your back before gently laying you back on your sheets. PAUSE And while the cool breeze softly blows, imagine a small mountain stream filled with rocks and cool water running alongside your bed. PAUSE After a moment, you move into the stream, allowing the cool water to flow over your feet and ankles, and you’re pleasantly surprised how comfortable this makes you feel. PAUSE While standing in the stream, you reach down and grab a stone that’s smooth and naturally cool from basking beneath the water. PAUSE You hold the stone stone in your hand, and feel its refreshing chill soothe your body. PAUSE You touch the stone against your face and chest, and its smooth surface feels restorative and peaceful. PAUSE A moment later, you reach down and cup your hands, so the cool stream water flows through them. PAUSE You cup your hands again, and this time let the cool water run down your arms. PAUSE Now, imagine as you are cooling off in the stream, that a clear glass and pitcher filled with water appear. PAUSE The cool water has cucumber and lemon slices and ice cubes floating in it. PAUSE So, you pour yourself a glass of the rejuvenating liquid and savor it as it slides down your throat, gently cooling you from the inside. PAUSE You sit on a large rock that juts out of the stream, a rock that’s nestled under the shady canopy of several oak trees. PAUSE And while relaxing on your rock, you dangle your feet in the water and sip the chilled drink. Your whole body feels at peace. PAUSE After a while, the breeze kicks up again, and you can feel it gently lifting you out of the stream. PAUSE The breeze flows in and around you, preserving the beautiful coolness of the stream and the icy drink. PAUSE And when the breeze brings you back to your bedroom, it gently sets you back in your bed. PAUSE And while resting on your sheets, you notice that the breeze is still there, blowing gently across you like a fan tinged with coolness. PAUSE You feel relaxed and comfortable and your whole body is ready to sink into a deep, satisfying sleep. PAUSE You can breathe in the cool air from the mountain stream at any time, and feel the water gently flowing over you, finding all the comfort and peace you need to sleep well and be well. LONG PAUSE Then take your ball and toss it high into the sky, where a passing cloud catches it, and sails it away. LONG PAUSE Now, take a moment to center yourself and breathe. And as you exhale deeply, entirely, snuggle up in your bed and get as comfortable as you can. LONG PAUSE It starts with the number one. See if you can imagine it, the number one, rising from the shadows, standing before you. PAUSE Your number one reaches up to the sky, tall and powerful, like the tree of life, the ancient tree of wisdom. PAUSE And as you take a breath, the one, now an ancient tree, grows before you. Its branches stretch and bend and swirl, while its leaves gently unfurl. PAUSE The leaves, like iridescent jewels, glitter in the sun and radiate the power of beginnings for you. PAUSE Now take a moment and notice the trunk of the tree. It’s the color of acorns and owls and clay. The colors of Mother Earth. PAUSE Now, take a minute and breathe in and observe how the tree, plants itself in the ground, unrolling its unseen roots. PAUSE See if you can imagine seeing roots wind and wend, tangle and untangle, holding firm the tree with the wisdom of the past coiled within them. PAUSE Take a pause for just a moment, and gaze at the tree, letting its secret images unfold to you in the bark. PAUSE See if you can imagine a silvery sword appearing in the bark, sharp and powerful. PAUSE As your eyes follow the sword, from handle to tip, you feel its gifts being shared. The sword shines with mental clarity for you. PAUSE Now, see if you can picture the sword spinning, transforming into a golden chalice, that sparkles in the sunlight. PAUSE The chalice moves you, filling your heart with feeling and inspiration and opening your intuition. PAUSE And imagine now that the chalice shifts, and transforms into a magic wand. PAUSE You reach out to touch the wand, and its energy dissolves into you, energy that opens you to act. PAUSE And imagine, now, that the wand trembles, changing its shape into a golden coin. PAUSE Then, if you can, picture yourself moving your hand over the coin, feeling its smoothness and taking in its grounding power. PAUSE Now see if you can open your heart to accept these powerful gifts and to hold them deep in your heart, deep in your soul. PAUSE As you take in these gifts, you step back from the tree to gaze in gratitude at all of it, from its roots to the tips of its leaves. PAUSE There, before you, a tree both old and wise and new and green. Your tree, your number one, blossoming with possibility. PAUSE Now, see if you can imagine silver light covering the tree, silver light like a mirror that reflects your radiant image. PAUSE As you look at your reflection, you see that you are all that is in and around this tree. This tree that grew from the number one is you. PAUSE Slowly, the tree fades, and while it dissolves into the ether, you feel its energies and wisdom grow in you. You are the tree. You are the One. PAUSE And while the water gently holds you, softly hugs you from beneath, tension flows away and disappears. PAUSE And as you bask in the healing, rays of golden sunlight spill onto the crystals. PAUSE The light fascinates you, as it pulses and harmonizes, building a pyramid prism hovering above your head. PAUSE Colored lights bounce from side-to-side in the pyramid forming geometric shapes before your eyes. PAUSE After a moment, the shapes slow down, and find their place, until a vision opens before you. PAUSE The vision plays like a movie, with you as the star, standing on red rocks, arms outstretched to the world. PAUSE As the vision unfolds, a calm washes over you, and you imagine yourself walking to a cave in the red rocks. PAUSE As you enter the cave, its cool air tinges your lungs and softly sticks to your face. PAUSE You move deeper into the cave, noticing crystal rainbows sparkling through the dark. PAUSE See if you can imagine reaching the deepest place in the cave where a crystal altar shines before you. PAUSE You pause and breathe and then kneel before the altar with your hands touching it. PAUSE The crystal power vibrates through your fingers sending waves of calming energy through you.. PAUSE Time has no meaning in the crystal altar, and it shares its secrets to healing with you. PAUSE And when the secrets stop, Gingerly, you step away, Folding your hands and whispering Namaste. PAUSE And the vision dissolves into millions of rainbow drops that shower you in your crystal pool. PAUSE And when the shower stops, you rise and step out of your crystal bath. carrying with you your crystal altar in the sanctuary of your soul. Ep 406Meditation: Love From Mother Elephant

LONG PAUSE Now, see if you can imagine placing that basket in a magical river floating by your bed, a river that gently carries the thoughts away. LONG PAUSE You can see the basket, with a handle and a red and white gingham cloth, neatly wrapped around your thoughts. LONG PAUSE And those thoughts sail away, and then out of sight, far down the silvery river. PAUSE And take in a deep breath, noticing a feeling of expansion connecting with your mind and your third eye– a feeling of space and freedom. PAUSE And as you draw in another breath you feel that expansion spreading in your body, bringing relaxation and peace. PAUSE Take a minute and shift your attention toward your third eye, breathing into it, and observing the color indigo blue swirling in and around it. PAUSE See if you can imagine your beautiful third eye opening wide like a passageway, Inviting you to come inside and embark on an adventure.. PAUSE Take a moment and breathe deep, and give yourself permission to picture a passageway streaming with indigo blue light. PAUSE And within the indigo blue light is a kaleidoscope of other colored lights twirling in circles, dancing in and out of shapes and patterns. PAUSE As you move slowly through the passageway, you feel like you’re being drawn to something important, something magical at the other end. PAUSE The lights shimmer and change with the colors that reflect on your face, like an artist’s palate. PAUSE Red, yellow, orange, green, turquoise, all these colored lights, bending and curving into shapes of animals, people, and sacred geometry. PAUSE And now see if you can imagine a golden ray of light light shimmering at the end of the passageway, PAUSE And as you get closer to the light, you recognize the brilliant light of the sun. PAUSE You take a moment and bow in thanks to the wonderful ride through the passageway. PAUSE Then, you turn and behold a lush forest, rich with green and turquoise unfolding before you. PAUSE As you begin to walk to the forest, see if you can imagine being greeted by a magnificent elephant, with skin the color of clay, and honey-colored eyes sparkling at you. PAUSE The elephant looks you in the eye, and in a moment of magic, pours her wisdom into you, passing knowledge and love to you in a single look. PAUSE The creature reaches out to you with her winding trunk, her beacon to the world, as she senses you and wraps you in a welcoming hug. PAUSE The elephant invites you to walk with her in the forest, and you reach for her floppy ear, touching it and its spiky hairs. PAUSE The hairs tickle and bring a smile to your face. The elephant snorts and grunts softly, encouraging you to keep going. You reach out and stroke her back. PAUSE As you move through the forest, the sunlight dances between tree branches, casting images on the forest floor. PAUSE While walking over the sunlight’s art, your hear a rustling in the bushes. The elephant goes right to the bush. PAUSE The elephant clears the brush away with her trunk, revealing a baby elephant playing, her baby. PAUSE The baby scoots next to you, kissing and caressing you with its trunk and smiling at you. PAUSE Now, see if you can imagine a small herd of mother and baby elephants circling around you. The elephants silently reach out to you with their trunks. Sinking your body into a restful place of relaxed awareness. Bring your attention to your breath. Go ahead and take a moment to tense up your body, Making tight fists with your hands, Squeezing your eyes shut and tightening all your muscles. And then let them all go, feeling your body relax deeper into its position, Letting yourself feel the calm release as you continue to connect with the deep rhythm of your breathing. PAUSE… As your body relaxes, your mind may be busy reminding you of the stresses in your life. Calling your emotions to feel their heaviness, telling your thinking mind to figure it all out. As you notice those thoughts and those emotions arising in you, imagine them again as clouds floating across the sky. Letting them live up there, white and fluffy and full, while you stand on the ground, allowing them to drift by you. Soon, the clouds will fade away and become less frequent. And your mind will find stillness in the spaces of blue sky in between. PAUSE... In this stillness, let yourself absorb and sit with these questions… Is there something for me to learn here? What creative solutions might there be? How can I approach this differently? What blessings are living within all of this? For the next little bit, simply sit with these questions. There’s no need for you to figure anything out or put your mind to work. Simply be with them. PAUSE... The challenges in our lives are opportunities for us to progress and evolve. And once we shift out of the heaviness of the stress, we can move into an empowering mindset. One that allows us to feel awakened, creative and abundant. One that allows us to move forward with grace and ease and joy. May this be that moment for you. LONG PAUSE Breathe once more, allowing all your senses to tune into you. LONG PAUSE Now, see if you can imagine standing on a wooden dock and a beautiful blue-gray dolphin, with a twinkle in her eye, raises her head to greet you. PAUSE And, after a minute, imagine the dolphin turning again, and with a wave of her flipper, inviting you to join her for a ride on her back. PAUSE Gingerly, you slide on to the dolphin’s back, feeling the cool smoothness of her skin against yours. PAUSE The dolphin’s head turns, so you can see her eyes, and she winks, before setting off to the horizon. PAUSE While riding on the dolphin, you notice that she keeps her head steady and just below the surface. PAUSE Every few moments, the dolphin surfaces and takes a breath in a rhythm like a dance. PAUSE As you cruise out to sea, you run your fingers through the turquoise water, creating little waves by your side. PAUSE You pass buoys, wobbling in the water, and jungles of green, thick seaweed flowing in the currents. PAUSE The sea is beautiful, like crystals glittering and bobbing up and down in the sun. PAUSE The air is balmy and pleasant, and gently scented with the fragrance of sea salt. PAUSE As you look above, the sky is a jewel blue that spans as far as your eyes can see, sinking into the horizon. PAUSE The sky is cloudless, and its infinite blue brings a smile to you. PAUSE And in the sky, the sun commands its space, warm and bright yellow like melted butter, gently alighting upon your cheeks. PAUSE Now, see if you can imagine a large splash off to your left, as a black and white manta ray shoots from the water to the sky and then disappears back into the water PAUSE Moments later, the dolphin swims through a school of silvery fish whose skin reflects like jewels in the water. PAUSE As the dolphin continues to swim, the school of fish part, with half on one side, and half on the other side, quickly flitting against your legs. PAUSE Now, see if you can imagine a magical dust falling on you that allows you feel comfortable and content while the dolphin descends deeper below the surface. PAUSE The magic dust allows you breathe with ease below the surface, and you feel completely comfortable. PAUSE As you and the dolphin glide below the surface, you notice a coral reef teeming with life. PAUSE And in the coral reef, a bright orange and white clownfish scoots by you, wriggling through the water. PAUSE Then you catch a glimpse of an indigo blue angelfish, all while neon pink and blue coral wave in the water. PAUSE For a moment, you think the dolphin will stay longer at the reef, but she circles it a few times, then heads out to sea. PAUSE Now, take a minute and give yourself permission to listen to the sounds of sea, opening all around you as you venture deeper. PAUSE As you listen, the sound of bubbles popping becomes clear, bubbles from fish that pop in synch like a conversation. PAUSE Then, in the distance, you hear moan, a deep bellow from a large creature. PAUSE And before your eyes, two blue-gray whales appear, talking to each other in a magical language. LONG PAUSE Then breathe again, allowing any area of tension to melt away. LONG PAUSE And now, allow your breathing to find a comfortable, slow rhythm, and relax even more. LONG PAUSE Now, see if you can imagine walking along a fertile shore of the Nile River in Egypt. PAUSE The pale, blue-green water flows gently before you, carrying life to all who live near it. PAUSE As you walk, you feel the Egyptian sun lightly warming your skin, warming it comfortably. PAUSE And, after a moment, you notice a path mixed with yellow sand and black dirt. PAUSE See if you can imagine following the yellow and black path until a tiny sailboat appears right by the shore . PAUSE As you study the sailboat, you observe a tan-colored sail with sharp points and curves hoisted into the air. PAUSE Now, give yourself permission to board the little boat and prepare to venture down the Nile. PAUSE You situate yourself comfortably in the center, feeling the gentle rocking of the boat from side to side. PAUSE And, now see if you can imagine the little sailboat catching a breeze and sailing down the river. PAUSE And as you sail down the Nile, you spy the top of a pyramid, yellow and strong, standing in its might. PAUSE And the sailboat pauses, and moves toward the shore, letting you off to visit the pyramids. PAUSE And, as you set foot on the shore, see if you can imagine, a magical breeze carrying you to the center of the plateau with all the pyramids. PAUSE And the breeze stops for a moment, and then stirs again, this time dropping a pair of blue glasses into your hands. PAUSE Instinctively, you put on the glasses, and are amazed to see Egyptian pharaohs, queens, gods and goddesses watching over the pyramids. PAUSE A pharaoh with a golden staff and black and gold striped headdress, nods at you and taps his staff. PAUSE After a moment, a beautiful Egyptian woman with lush lips and curved hips walks by you. PAUSE It’s Queen Nefertiti, and she gives you a half smile and then walks on. PAUSE Now, imagine if you can the beautiful goddess Isis, with her golden headdress comes toward you. PAUSE The goddess of healing and magic stands before you and takes your hands in hers. PAUSE She doesn’t speak, and, yet, you understand her message: You, too, are a goddess. Believe it. PAUSE Isis disappears, and you stand for a moment, taking in her message and feeling goddess power within. PAUSE After a few moments, another breeze comes by, and the glasses gently fall off your nose and vanish into the air. PAUSE The gods and goddesses, pharaohs and queens are all gone. Instead, there are many tourists waiting for their turn to experience Egypt. PAUSE The breeze returns, full, and ready to take you back to the little sailboat. PAUSE But before the breeze carries you away, you turn and look again at the pyramids, thanking them for reminding you that you are a goddess, every day, in every way. LONG PAUSE Draw in another deep breath and center yourself, letting your mind open and feel free. LONG PAUSE Now, see if you can imagine lying on a bed of fall leaves, a bed of beautiful orange, red and golden leaves. PAUSE And while you’re lying there with eyes closed, feel the cool snap of autumn’s air kiss your cheeks until they’re rosy. PAUSE Now, imagine opening your eyes and looking up at a vast, blue sky a sky the color of star sapphires and cornflowers. PAUSE And while gazing at the sky, you notice an amber sun that seems to shimmer in the crisp, autumn air. PAUSE Then, in the center of this magnificent sky, a single marshmallow cloud catches your eye. PAUSE The cloud floats for a bit, and seems to transform into animals, a dog, a fish a rhino, all before your eyes. PAUSE Then, as you’re while watching it, the cloud slowly starts to disperse, with pieces being pulled in different directions. PAUSE And for a moment, you connect with the cloud, understand being pulled in different directions until you no longer feel whole. PAUSE Yet, the cloud dissipates with beauty and grace naturally melding into the sky, becoming one with something greater than itself. PAUSE For a moment, you may feel a tinge of frustration or stress. Breathe, and allow it to pass so you can be yourself… like the cloud PAUSE Now, take just a minute, and draw in another breath, and see if you can imagine that every time you feel pulled apart, you transform– you gather into something greater. PAUSE You gather yourself by talking with a friend, or a group of girlfriends, or a family member, someone who gives support. SHORT PAUSE Now, bask in that support. PAUSE And now, allow yourself to imagine catching sight of tree, a tree aflame with autumn’s red. PAUSE And on that tree, you spy a single leaf, barely holding on. PAUSE And this leaf is being blown by the breeze, back and forth and back and forth, until it finally breaks away. PAUSE As the leaf separates from the tree, it wafts gracefully to the ground. PAUSE And when the leaf touches the ground another breeze blows and picks up all the leaves, so they twirl and circle around your leaf. PAUSE The breeze settles, and the leaves fall to the ground all around your leaf. PAUSE As you gaze at the leaves, you notice your leaf is now centered and grounded, stable and secure, among all the other leaves. PAUSE Now see if you can imagine that this beautiful autumn leaf that broke off a branch to find itself is really you. PAUSE And like the leaf, you can see yourself as strong, secure and resilient– filled with a stabilizing force to all who are around you. PAUSE Take a moment and just breathe, breathe in that you are the leaf. PAUSE And as you breathe, see if you can imagine images of yourself flowing before you, showing you all the beauty of who you are. PAUSE And as the images roll on, give yourself permission to know that you are part of something greater. PAUSE You are you, strong and grounded, and connected to all other women who love and support you along your journey. LONG PAUSE You draw in another breath feeling the perfection of your bed, cozy and soft. LONG PAUSE And as you sink deeper, your body completely unwinds. LONG PAUSE And now take a moment and just be in your body, becoming aware of your breath rolling through your chest and abdomen. LONG PAUSE Now, imagine, if you can standing on a rock that juts into the cool air of the deep night. PAUSE And from your rock, you can see every heavenly body visible to man shimmering in the sky. PAUSE And the tiny, dazzling lights look as if they’re moving– moving around the earth like a wheel of diamonds. PAUSE As you continue to stargaze, your eye catches the three stars of Orion’s belt twinkling brightly from east and west PAUSE From the belt, you find the rest of the constellation of Orion, including the stars that craft this hunter's bow. PAUSE The mesmerizing lights above beckon you to stay with them. so you decide to lie down on the rock in a toasty, fleece blanket that wraps around you perfectly. PAUSE Snuggled up in your blanket, you look back to the sky and notice something has changed. PAUSE Now, see if you can imagine the hunter Orion stepping down from the sky and onto an adjacent rock. PAUSE And, as he steps onto the rock, you notice the stars that make him gather into a human shape that glows translucent in the night. PAUSE The hunter does not see you, and instead, draws back his bow and aims into the sky. PAUSE Orion spies something and releases his bow high into the sky of jewels. PAUSE You watch as a crystalline arrow soars into the sky and then dissolves into a waterfall of silvery lights. . PAUSE Now, imagine if you can, that Orion leaps back into the sky chasing his mysterious quarry. PAUSE After a few moments, you glimpse another constellation vibrating intensely in the sky like it wants to break free. PAUSE The seven stars of Virgo shine bright, brighter than any other stars in the sky, until they gather into a beautiful maiden who steps down onto the rock nearby. PAUSE Like Orion, Virgo is translucent and shimmering with light. She pauses, gazing at the sky and then toward you with a smile. PAUSE Now, see if you can imagine sitting up and staring at the wonder before you. PAUSE Virgo, the maiden, the goddess of Justice and the Harvest, says not a word, but you hear her every thought. PAUSE Virgo raises her hand and, in just a second, shows you all of Earth’s nature like a movie with the sky as a screen. PAUSE And as you watch all the animals, flowers and trees, waterfalls, oceans, and mountains stream before you, you feel Virgo’s love for it all. PAUSE And now, see if you can imagine that Virgo lifts her hand again, only this time, it is to touch yours. PAUSE And the translucent hand gently covers yours sending a vibration through it, a vibration of love for the Earth. LONG PAUSE Become aware of your back, as it presses gently against the sheets, sinking into them. LONG PAUSE And feel the rest of your body dip, ever so slightly, into the softness of the bed. LONG PAUSE Now, see if you can imagine an electric guitar playing just a few notes of reggae softly in the distance. PAUSE The notes have a rhythm, a rhythm that dissolves into you, and you feel your body begin to sway. PAUSE And,after a moment, you hear a soft drum joining the bass guitar, and the rhythm feels stronger in you. PAUSE And, together, music floats through you, gently bending and swerving your body to the rhythm. PAUSE Now, see if you can imagine being draped in a cotton dress with the colors of the ocean sweeping through it. PAUSE And the dress ebbs and flows with you and the music, and catches the breeze like a wave. PAUSE While dancing you look down at your feet, as the tug of the music moves them on a powdery beach. PAUSE The warm sand kisses the bottom of your feet, soft and tender, and lets you move freely and comfortably to the beat. PAUSE And while dancing, a little girl hands you a purple orchid for your hair. PAUSE And you place the orchid behind your ear, as the sun glistens between the stands of your hair. . PAUSE The little girl takes your hands, and together, you weave in and out to the vibrant pulse of the music. PAUSE After a few moments, the little girl runs down to the beach, picking up shells every few steps and still dancing.. PAUSE You turn back to the band that pauses, while one of the players, talks in a voice as melodious as his guitar. PAUSE When his lilting voice stops, you hear the unmistakable cracking of drumsticks, and the whine of the guitar. PAUSE And then, the crowd around you cheers, as the band plays some Bob Marley, and everyone dances. PAUSE Laughter and shouts of joy permeate the air, and run through your body like the infectious beat of the music. PAUSE And as you dance, you notice that every breath you take is scented with coconut and pineapple that tickles your nose. PAUSE And as you twirl with and around the others, time stops; there is only now. PAUSE And, after a while, the sun dims and slips beneath the horizon, just beyond the purpose ocean. PAUSE And the music keeps on playing, and the people dancing, in the light of tiki torches and a pearl moon. PAUSE After a while, the vibrant energy inside you starts to shift to a feeling of calm and contentment. PAUSE The music slows, and the crowd begins to thin until the last pulse of the drum is heard. PAUSE So, you smile and wave to the man with the electric guitar. And he winks and grins for he knows you’ll come again. PAUSE And you walk away from the tiki torches into the Jamaican night, midnight blue and breezy with the aroma of ocean salt on your skin. PAUSE And as you walk down the beach feeling contented and blessed, the reggae keeps playing, every-so-softly in your heart. Now and always. LONG PAUSE Take a moment and center yourself, letting all the cares of the day just slip away. LONG PAUSE It starts with a single stroke, a simple line across the canvas marking the beginning of a an idea, a creation. PAUSE And the line may slender, like a hair, or thicker like a ruler, or thicker still, like a plank of lumber. PAUSE See if you can imagine, the line taking a shape, a shape all its own. a shape that sets the tone for what is to come. PAUSE The line may be straight like an arrow, or bent slightly like the warrior’s bow, or deeply curved like rainbow arching across the sky. PAUSE The line may wiggle like an earthworm or jut out like a pier on a lake or softly wave like the ocean. PAUSE And imagine now that the line takes a color. It may be black like the mysterious night, or yellow like corn in mid summer, or purple like a garden violet. PAUSE The line stands strong in its space, in its shape, knowing what it is, and wondering if there’s more. PAUSE Then imagine if you can another line appearing and for a moment, the first line pauses, questioning the second line. PAUSE Then the second line takes shape, pirouetting across the canvas with a personality all its own. PAUSE And the first line sees the second and realizes that it, too, can pirouette. PAUSE So, together, the lines twirl in and out and around all the corners of the canvas. PAUSE And imagine for a moment, that a black circle joins the lines, stationing itself in the core of the canvas. PAUSE And the circle stands alone. There are no lines inside it, just outside it. PAUSE And the circle wonders why it's different, why it stands alone and away from the lines. PAUSE Then a new line appears, a line that pierces the circle, cutting across it with a splash of sunset orange. PAUSE And then the two original lines join the new line, pirouetting around the circle and darting in and out of its center with color. PAUSE Now imagine a triangle of green joins the canvas, with three lines all connected. PAUSE And the triangle looks around wondering where all the other lines are, wondering if it’s meant to be alone. PAUSE The other lines pause for a moment, then swerve toward the triangle outlining its shape. PAUSE The other lines add bright colors to the green triangle, yellow, purple, orange and black. PAUSE Then the other lines dance around triangle, creating a vibration of colorful shadows supporting it. PAUSE Now imagine, if you can, A blue square balancing on one corner lands on the canvas. PAUSE And the square wants to move just like all the lines on the canvas. PAUSE So, the lines band together and begin jutting out from each corner of the square Into the center of the canvas. PAUSE And with each line extending beyond the corner the square feels like it’s moving, rapidly through space. PAUSE And the lines bounce off of each other and jump on top of each other like tumblers in the circus. PAUSE Now, imagine if you can, this circus of colors and lines slowing down, stepping back for just a moment. PAUSE And as they take a step away from their playground, they see something amazing, a magnificent piece of artwork that began as a single, black line. PAUSE The lines and colors look around to find the single, black line to thank it for starting the beautiful work of art that they all contributed to. PAUSE… Be here, And breathe, Calling your attention away from any thoughts or emotions that are lingering, And deeply into your body. Breathe... PAUSE... Let your eyes get heavier, Unclench your jaw and relax your cheeks. Lower your shoulders, Relax your arms and your hands. Soften your stomach, And feel your legs and your feet get heavier and melt into deeper relaxation. Feel your body here...warm. Relaxed. Soft. PAUSE… Imagine yourself as a little girl. Look at her hair, her body, her eyes. Notice her position, her attitude, her expressions. Take it all in...this vision of yourself as a child. What sounds do you hear her make? What scent is around her? What is her demeanor? PAUSE… Now see if you can imagine a giant bubble on one side of her. A dark, scary, smokey bubble. As you look closer at it, you recognize what’s inside...sadness, pain, hurt and fear. So many dark memories inside of this bubble. Maybe you’re seeing within it flashes of those dark memories, mini movies from your childhood. Or maybe you’re simply seeing the emotions floating within it and feeling their heaviness. The disappointment, rejection, or fear. Relax your body and just observe this bubble. PAUSE... This incredible little girl created stories about each one of those memories or emotions. Maybe she created a story called I’m not good enough. Or I’m not worthy. Or I don’t matter. Or even I can’t trust others. Or I can’t have everything I want. She’s not wrong for doing this...it’s what all of us do. But there are stories she created that are not allowing you to live as vibrant as you would like. PAUSE… So take a deep, cleansing breath in, And as you exhale, release the heaviness of these stories, PAUSE... And then reach out to this little girl, And embrace her in your arms, holding her close with love...pure love. And watch as that dark, smokey bubble diminishes, little by little. Hug her. Love her. Hold her. Accept her. And watch the stories evaporate away. LONG PAUSE… Now, take a step back and observe her again. This beautiful little girl. Now imagine a big, bright bubble on the other side of her. This bubble is filled with laughter, creativity, dreams and love. Perhaps you’re seeing flashes of those happy memories, mini movies from your childhood. Or maybe you’re simply seeing the emotions floating within it and feeling their lightness. The joy, lightheartedness, and imagination. Just sit back and witness it all. And feel a warm happiness fill your body. This is all yours. And the doorway to inviting in more of it in your current life - more joy, more love, more creativity - is through this special little girl. Turn your attention from this bright bubble onto the little girl. See how she lights up? See how her smile comes from her soul? Remember how much she loved to play? And move? And imagine? And let’s start by taking a big, deep, conscious breath in, Feeling the air coming in through your nose and expanding your body. And release it all through your nose on your exhale. One more deep breath in, inviting in fresh air, And breathe it all out. Bring your breathing to its natural rhythm, And just be here for a moment, Letting your attention settle onto the movement of your body, Noticing the rise and fall of your chest, Noticing the cool air on your nose as you breathe in, And the warm air on your nose as you breathe out. Allowing your shoulders to drop, And your jaw to relax. Let yourself just be here with your body. PAUSE… Now let your imagination paint a picture of you standing in a bright, comfortable room. There’s a full length mirror in front of you and you’re just standing there, Allowing yourself to see your reflection in front of you. Perhaps this pause causes you to hear voices or thoughts coming forth. Maybe those thoughts are judgemental, criticizing or even dismissive of the woman it sees in the mirror. Perhaps those thoughts are loving, caring and encouraging, eager to let your reflection know she’s loved. Maybe there are even thoughts arising reminding you about your tasks or fixated on an issue you’re dealing with. Whatever thoughts arise, practice seeing each one of them release from you as a bubble and drift off into the air. One by one, extracting those thoughts and releasing them, So you can come back to simply observing yourself in the mirror. Without thoughts. Without analysis. Without emotion. Just being here with you and your reflection. PAUSE… Let yourself slowly scan the body you see before you, Drinking in the beauty of its shape, its movement, its strength. PAUSE... Let yourself look deeply into your eyes and down into your soul, Connecting to the ever evolving, perfectly imperfect being you are in this moment. PAUSE... Let yourself see your family and friends surrounding you, Breathing in gratitude for the messy and loving relationships in your life. And the opportunities they provide you to be connected. PAUSE… Let yourself observe yourself doing the purposeful work you do, And root yourself in feeling of fulfillment it gives you, no matter how unfinished it is. PAUSE… Look yourself in the eyes and hear yourself say, I am perfect, just the way I am. Right here. Right now. And breathe... LONG PAUSE Breathe, and feel yourself turning inward, centering and becoming aware of your body. LONG PAUSE And now, turn your attention to your neck and shoulders, breathing into them, softening them from all the day’s tension. LONG PAUSE Allow your focus to shift to you back where you breathe and let the muscles melt into the comfy sheets. PAUSE And, now, let your mind focus on breathing through the tension, in your hips, so they gently and comfortably open. PAUSE And with the next breath, feel the pressure and tension easing from your legs and feet so they feel light and relaxed. PAUSE Now, see if you can imagine sinking into a fluffy, warm jacket as you stand in the chilled,pre-dawn air just before the sun peeks over the horizon. PAUSE And you snuggle into your jacket, as a fire blazes a few feet in front of you, a fire filling a hot air balloon. PAUSE The fire’s heat sets your face aglow, with its yellow-orange flame shooting into the balloon. . PAUSE And while gazing at the flame, you notice someone adjusting the basket to the balloon, setting it so it’s ready for its next adventure. PAUSE The horizon glows with purples, pinks, and orange, as the morning sun makes her entrance. PAUSE And the sun greets you with the chance to look at the balloon surging some and then falling back, as it finds its rhythm of filling. PAUSE Your balloon is the color of canaries, and oranges, and the deep, blue sea, with a stripe of fire engine red. PAUSE The balloon begins to rise with the fire still glowing into its bowels. It is nearly ready. PAUSE See if you can imagine your hot air balloon positioned upright, facing the morning sky, ready for you. PAUSE So, you climb over the side of the basket, and watch as the ropes are released as you float into the cool morning air. PAUSE Now, imagine if you can, floating above the red rocks of New Mexico, red rocks dazzling with color in the early morning sun. PAUSE And as you float, the balloon glides above the belly of a canyon, a canyon with red rocks like sentries protecting it on each side. PAUSE And then the balloon draws near the rocks, close enough so you can see a cave carved into the side of the cliffs. PAUSE Now, imagine if you can that you see a man sitting in a circle of stones just inside the cave. PAUSE And instinctively, you know this man is a shaman, a shaman practicing his healing art. PAUSE The balloon pauses, and you can hear the shaman playing his small drum and chanting. PAUSE You may not understand his words, but they resonate with you, and send a strong healing vibration through you. PAUSE And the shaman sees you from the corner of his eye and then turns to play his drum and chant before you. PAUSE And while the shaman plays, you feel the healing and the blessing from his chant opening you, moving you, with a joy that lights you up from the inside. PAUSE When the shaman finishes, he waves his hand, and the balloon begins to drift back to where it started. PAUSE And as the shaman dissolves Into the distance, the morning sun shines bright and warm and lights the world below. PAUSE As you float back, imagine feeling an incredible peace in you, a peace that emanates from your heart and spreads throughout your body. LONG PAUSE Now, see if you can imagine a forest still and dark where creatures live in harmony and magic really lurks. PAUSE You take a step and then another into the forest deep; it’s full of life and energy when the rest of the world is asleep. PAUSE And before your eyes true magic appears, in stardust silver and gold. A unicorn bows before you, a wonder to behold. PAUSE And the unicorn lets you on his back, and prances through the trees, until you come to some tiny houses and some dwarves who look quite pleased. PAUSE An elder dwarf with wire spectacles offers a cup of tea. You take a sip and smile; The taste is heavenly. PAUSE And the dwarf tugs his beard delighted you like the tea. Then he and all the other dwarves go back to working busily. PAUSE So, the unicorn trots on through the woods slow enough for you to see that the trees and plants and animals sparkle magically. PAUSE And as you ride, a thunderous sound takes you by surprise. A giant peers behind a tree then walks before your eyes. PAUSE He’s tall and strong with brown moppy hair and stories in his deep blue eyes, and you know that if you asked him, what he shared would be truly wise. PAUSE He reaches down and offers his hand, so you can take a look. You step on his hand and rise above to see the magic in the woods. PAUSE You see animals and enchanted creatures going about their lives, building houses, preparing food and sharing all their time. PAUSE And giant sets you on the back of the unicorn, and you both canter away, so you can see some more of the woods before the end of day. PAUSE After a while, a creature crosses your path. He’s half man on top and horse beyond that. PAUSE And, the creature approaches; firm, but cautiously. He’s a centaur protecting the forest and all its mysteries. PAUSE And the centaur raises his lance to let you pass, then salutes you as well. You smile and thank him and bid him a warm farewell. PAUSE And the unicorn gallops farther into the heart of the trees where you come across a dragon who greets you with gentle ease. PAUSE The dragon is the color of the sea with eyes like amber fire, and she beckons you to take a ride to soar higher and higher. PAUSE So you jump on the dragon and hold on tight around her scaly neck. And up you go until the unicorn looks like a tiny speck. PAUSE And as the dragon spreads her wings, you feel the air upon your face. You say goodbye to the forest this amazing, magical place. PAUSE The dragon stops at the forest's edge to let you off her back. You thank her kindly and head home along the trodden path. PAUSE And as you leave the forest dark, it’s become a part of you. There’s now a spark of magic that leaves you feeling new. LONG PAUSE Now, take a moment and gently scan your body. You may notice some areas of tension and stress, and that’s okay. Feel yourself breathe out, And release it out of you. Breathe, And release. Breathe, And relax. LONG PAUSE See if you can connect with your heartbeat, hearing its gentle rhythm in the distance. LONG PAUSE As you take another breath, the rhythm softly fades, leaving you comfortable and safe in your bed. LONG PAUSE Now, picture a game of tug-of-war, with you on one side grasping a thick, tightly coiled rope that goes on forever. PAUSE Some days, you may feel like you’re pulling at a that rope, and it seems to pull with a great power against you. PAUSE So take a deep breath, and see if you can imagine loosening your grip on the rope, gingerly letting your fingers go. PAUSE Try to imagine each finger raising slowly, and each time a finger lifts, the tension in the rope releases. PAUSE And with each finger that floats upward, you notice that the rope starts to lightly fall away. and your hands are free. PAUSE Now, picture yourself placing a hand over your heart, a hand that feels free from the rope of tension. PAUSE And, as you touch your heart, breathe in slowly and let the calmness radiate from your heart. PAUSE While touching your heart, see if you can imagine waves of peace flowing from your heart out into your body. PAUSE As the waves move through you, your body pulses just a bit, as it syncs to the waves, and then releases all the stress it holds. PAUSE The heart waves are flowing into your head and neck, Sending out their calming energy. PAUSE Each rhythmic wave gently encourages the muscles to unfreeze, to thaw in relaxation. PAUSE Now, picture the heart wave traveling down your back, passing on waves of light and healing. PAUSE And peaceful waves touch all the muscles in the back, softly uncoiling them and melting them like butter. PAUSE Take a moment now and breathe, and feel the warm relaxation in the muscles touched by your heart wave. PAUSE And as you breathe again, imagine the heart wave pulsing, sending healing signals to the chest and arms. PAUSE And while your chest and arms sink softly into your bed, visualize the heart wave moving toward your center. PAUSE The waves send a healing hum into your core, opening it, relaxing it. PAUSE And the soft vibrations deepen your relaxation. You feel your body is letting go, your mind letting go, into sleep. PAUSE The heart wave is sending its healing vibrations to your abdomen and lower back, letting them soften and gently give in. PAUSE Take a minute and indulge in the buttery feeling your muscles are experiencing, as tension continues to dissolve. PAUSE And now watch as the heart wave moves into your upper legs, those soldiers you stand on, now softening so that they feel cushy and relaxed. PAUSE And with another gentle breath, your heart wave expands into the knees and calves flowing like gentle water, moving tension and stress away. PAUSE Now, see if you can imagine the heart wave radiating gently into your ankles and feet, taking pressure off of them, so they feel open and relaxed. PAUSE Now give yourself permission to acknowledge that your body is letting go, releasing into relaxation. PAUSE And now scan your body once more, and if you find any muscle or site of tension, let the heart wave touch it, relax it. PAUSE… Maybe you feel a heaviness on your chest, As you think about what’s weighing on your heart. You feel guilty, Perhaps ashamed or disappointed. It’s my fault, You hear the voices say, As the shoulds begin penetrating your mind, Like raindrops on the roof, Coming down drop by drop, Burning your heart with their judgements. PAUSE… Breathe in deeply, And let the air cleanse you, Lighten you, Forgive you. And breathe out the guilt, Releasing the heaviness and the pain. Breathe in forgiveness, And release the guilt. PAUSE… You’re a beautiful being of love, And only this moment exists. You can’t change the past, But you can gather its lessons in your arms, And continue walking. So release the guilt, beautiful, And invite in forgiveness. PAUSE… Forgive yourself for the mistakes, Forgive yourself for the imperfections, Forgive yourself for the consequences of your actions. Feel the warmth of forgiveness release you from the chains of guilt. LONG PAUSE… Nothing you’ve done can take away who you are, You are love. And you are here to express love. So release the pain and suffering of guilt, As you absorb the lessons to be learned, And continue onto the path before you, Lighter, And wiser. A few moments of deep and relaxed awareness that will allow you to bring closure to your day and embrace sleep with open arms. So Let’s Begin… So go ahead and snuggle yourself into your favorite sleeping position. Close your eyes, and allow yourself to become a little more aware of your body. Adjusting yourself if it allows you to get just a little more comfortable Notice the rhythm of your breathing, And go ahead and take a deep breath in, feeling your entire body expand with your inbreath, And as you exhale, feel yourself melt further into your bed. PAUSE… As you end your day, think about one thing you’re grateful for. Just one person or moment or circumstance or thing for which you feel intense gratitude right now. See it in your mind and as you do, imagine your body filling with the lightness of gratitude. Breathe in the gratitude. Breathe. And for the next little bit, go ahead and picture anything else you may be grateful for right now, allowing each breath in to fill you with even more light. PAUSE… Now take a moment to identify anything within you that feels incomplete. Any worries you may have, any tasks still wanting your attention, any uncomfortable emotions or thoughts. And just notice them within you. And watch as those bubbles of thoughts slowly extract themselves from you, placing themselves in an imaginary basket next to your bed. Let them be here - the worry, the tasks, the emotions. They’ll be here for you in the morning if you want them. For now, it’s time to sleep. Breathe. PAUSE… Sleep is ready to embrace you, my love. And you her. Let your body melt further into your bed, Let your mind focus on the inhale and exhale of your breath. May you surrender to the rest that awaits you. Let it rejuvenate you. Let it heal you. And let it refresh you. Gently become aware of your surroundings, all the sounds, smells and sensations. LONG PAUSE Now, breathe in deeply and richly, and see if you can imagine an energy field, a glowing mist, all around you. LONG PAUSE Take a moment and tune into your energy field, noticing its colors. PAUSE Imagine the blues, greens, purples, the yellows, reds, and oranges, colors from your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual self all floating around your body. PAUSE There’s even a shimmering white, sailing in and out, like angel wings dipped in stars. PAUSE You breathe, and the colors twirl in and around each other, like ribbons in a cosmic dance. PAUSE The colors sometimes separate, sometimes harmonize together, like an artist’s pastels, or rainbow ice cream melting in summer. PAUSE Now, take in a deep breath, and, as the breath opens your lungs, observe the colors drawing closer together and dancing faster. PAUSE Now, gently breathe again. and while releasing the breath, observe the colors expanding and contracting, like they’re alive, and breathing with you. PAUSE Now pause for just a moment, then see if you can imagine how the energy field feels around you. PAUSE Can you feel its soft buzz as it wraps around you? Notice its gentle hum covering all of you. Protecting you like a shield. PAUSE Now, picture yourself relaxed, at ease, standing tall in your powerful energy field. PAUSE As you stand in your energy, notice the confidence bubbling up in you, confidence to move forward in any way you desire. PAUSE As you stand in your energy, notice feeling light and free, with a power radiating from the inside. PAUSE As you stand in your energy, notice your fears and anxiety falling away, dissolving, into water that carries them away. PAUSE Now, see if you can imagine a pearl-like glow on your face, with all the energy of your divine self– your authentic self– shining through. PAUSE And as the glow brightens, you pause, you breathe, and you realize, that the wonderful energy shield on the outside has opened you from the inside. PAUSE Now, see if you can imagine moving in life with your new energy, ready for new beginnings and endless possibilities that calls you to action. PAUSE And now, breathe deeply, and see if you can give yourself permission to act on what you’re called to do. PAUSE And when you hear that calling, Singing like angels in your ears, Imagine that it transforms into a butterfly. PAUSE And the butterfly, the wings of your dreams, alights in your hands and then gently lifts up to the sky, with you following. On your path in strength and gratitude.
