Jimmy Saville - The Secret Lies And Depravity

Jimmy Savile: The Secret, Lies & Depravity “Jimmy!” “Jimmy!” “Jimmy!” The name rang across the crowd as a satin gold coffin approached St. Anne’s Cathedral in Leeds, England in November of 2011. Hundreds of people kept track of the procession as the coffin journeyed through Leeds, stopping momentarily at Leeds General Infirmary before heading to St. Anne’s Cathedral for the service. It was the closest to a royal funeral Britain could get and every inch of the procession was decided beforehand by the deceased. At age 84, legendary radio dj, television personality, philanthropist, and English Knight, Sir James Wilson Savile – better known as “Jimmy Savile” died in his home. He had been battling heart problems and was found dead just two days before his birthday. The “National Treasure” With his trademark chunky jewelry, cigar in mouth, floaty white hair and catchy phrases, Jimmy Savile was proclaimed an English icon. Born in Leeds, in West Yorkshire, he was the youngest of seven children and grew up in a pious Roman Catholic family. His father, a bookmaker’s clerk was once described by Jimmy as “scrupulously honest but scrupulously broke.” His mother, Agnes, seemed to have a special bond with her youngest child. In later interviews, Savile referred to his mother as “The Duchess” and even after her death in 1972, kept her room and clothing as it was for decades.Support the show Learn more about your ad choices. But despite our technological advances – sometimes archeology throws us a curveball – leading us to ask questions we simply can’t find the answer to. The cases on this list cdisplay such anomalies. These are 5 Bizarre and Unexplained Archeological Discoveries. 5. Frankenstein MummiesIt’s intersting enough to find ancient mummies, but more perplexing is to find these once mummified skeleton bones don’t even belong to the same human being. But that’s what archeologists and scientists discovered in South Uist, Scotland. Since the 80s, archeologists have identified Clad Hallan in Scotland as a special site containing ancient settlements dating back around 2000 BC. In 2001, it was business as usual for the archeologists, digging away at ancient 11th century houses over the Bronze age Village, when they discovered four preserved skeletons. One was a teenager, the other a child. The Two others were skeletons of an adult male and female. These latter two intrigued the team. 4. China CarvingsFuxian Lake in Yunnan Province, China is a huge lake featuring water so clear the ancient Chinese used to refer to it as “a large area of shining glass.” But its shimmery surface is also hiding something special underneath. On June 13, 2015, archeologists uncovered remains of an ancient structure buried under the lake. They found large stones with mysterious carvings, proving that at one time, a large complex or structure might have stood above ground or at least close to the lake.3. Giant Footprint of PingyanStories of giants roaming the Earth have been told for hundreds of years. From the Bible, to the Greeks, these tales are told with awe but often dismissed as nothing but literature and legends. But a discovery of a giant footprint in Pingyan, China could change all that. 2. Macedonian Werewolf SkullWerewolves are traditionally creatures of myth. But it seems proof of their existence might have been found in Novo Selo Stipsko, Macedonia. A Bulgarian student was visiting the village while doing research on the Balkan Wars when he came across a farmer named Trayche. He told him he was digging in a new portion of his field when he discovered a buried box that was chained shut. On the inside cover of the box were Cyrillic script, commonly used in Macedonian and Bulgarian language. The text on the box roughly read as “Attention Danger Werewolf” or “Caution Danger Vrykolakas (vampire.)1. Domestic Dinosaur CarvingThanks to Tomb Raider, the temple complex of Ta Prohm in Siem Reap, Cambodia gained so much attention it’s become one of the most visited tourist attractions in the world. Built between 1181 and 1218 A.D., the temple monastery was once used for worship by the Mahayana Buddhists. When the empire broke up, the temple then became abandoned. The forest moved in and reclaimed much of the structure until it was discovered in the 19th century. Much of the site was excavated, some restored and much of the forests and trees cleared out.Support the show Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

But there are certain forests that you should be weary of And The five woodlands on this list have gained a reputation for being sinister, dark and even deadly. These are 5 Frightening Forests You Should Never Visit 5. Devils Tramping GroundOver 120 years before America gained its independence, locals have whispered that inside the pine woods of Chatham County in N. Carolina lies a 15-foot wide circle where no life has ever grown. They call it the Devil’s Tramping Ground. Year after year, no plant life grows within the circle. Despite being surrounded by forests and trees, no plant life ever grows within this circle. No trees, no flowers,no anything and Locals say even when plants are transplanted within, they just wilt and die. 4. Man Finds Missing Person’s ShrineJames Rankin was on a leisurely hike in October of 2016 exploring Huntington’s Berkeley Jackson County Park in New York when he came across a terrifying site. He was walking along when something posted on the trees caught his attention. He took a closer look and to his surprise, they were pieces of printed paper placed inside a plastic file sleeve. Theyhad been posted on individual trees around a portion of the forest. Rankin looked closely at each one and realized they were missing posters. 3. Pine BarrensPine Barrens, New Jersey is dubbed as one of the most haunted forests in North America. Why? There’s a couple of reasons. First, it’s home to the terrifying Jersey Devil. Second, there are supposedly multiple ghosts seen in the area. Third, it’s a place where real life abandoned ghost towns are found. For centuries, countless urban legends have surrounded this mysterious forest. Over time, the stories change but the central characters remain. 2. This area in Germany is known appropriatly as the Black Forest. For many, the Black Forest has become synonymous with evil forests you would find mentioned in haunting fairytales. In fact, we have the Brothers Grimm to thank for that imagery since many of their stories set in deep, dark forests take inspiration from this location. 1. Interstate 85For many, the trees lining one of America’s busiest interstates is just like anywhere else. But what they don’t know is that Interstate 85 in Atlanta, Georgia is a hidden dumping ground for bodies. On some of the best nights, the moon serves as earth’s best source of light. Despite its beautiful and illumnious presence though, there are still many things about it that people think are very dark. These are the 5 Creepy Conspiracy Theories About the Moon. Pyramid on the MoonOur pyramids on Earth are a marvel by themselves, but is it possible there’s a pyramid hiding in our moon too? Many believe so and Oddly enough the idea of a pyramid hiding on our moon comes from non other then NASA itself. During the Apollo 17 landing on the moon, they took multiple pictures of the lunar surface as well as the rover and other items there. These photos were eventually released to the public and eagle-eyed viewers saw something more in one of the images. One image is said to have captured a pyramid sitting on our lunar landscape. The supposed pyramid image is officially labeled by NASA as “LRV Floor? Sunstruck.” 4. Fake Moon Landing July 20, 1969 was a historic day for mankind. It was the first-time anyone had ever set foot on the moon. However, many aren’t sure we ever actualy, went there or at least not on July 1969. According to a recent survey, at least 20% of Americans don’t believe we landed on the moon in 1969. They say, if ever we did, it was much later than that and point to various “discrepancies” and anomalies in the footage of the landing. First, there’s the obvious images and film of the waving flag. Many argue that if space is a vacuum then why are there ripples on the American flag? 3. Fake Moon RockSince the moon landings were a celebration of mankind’s achievement, NASA and prominent astronauts, Armstrong, Aldrin and Collins embarked on a world tour shortly after their successful mission. During this tour, they also officially gave away “moon rocks” as a sort of souvenir and sign of peace and goodwill to over 100 countries and officials all over the world. One such moon rock was given to then Dutch Prime Minister, Willem Drees in 1969. It was former American Ambassador, J. William Middendorf, who presented it to Mr. Drees as a private gift. After the prime minister’s death, however, it was handed over to a meuseuam in the neatherlands in 1988. 2. Music on the Dark Side of The Moon & Secret Military Base Apollo 10 launched in May 1969 and was the second manned craft destined to orbit the moon. Inside it was a crew of three astronauts, John Young, Eugene Cernan and Thomas Stafford. While they were heading toward the dark side of the moon, they were expecting to hear nothing since they knew they would lose all transmissions from Earth, but that’s not what happened. Once they got to the far side, the astronauts heard an unusual whistling sound. The audiotape of their conversation was made public and you can hear John Young and Eugene Cernan discussing this mysterious sound. 1. Hollow Moon TheoryThe idea of a Hollow Moon first came to life in the 1901 H.G. Well’s novel, the First Men in the Moon. The story told of two men landing on the moon and finding it to be an actual base, occupied by a unique alien race. For many conspiracy theorists, this is more than just a story and they say could actually be a reality.Support the show Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

The villagers and the family of the men claim they were all healthy and did not show any sign of sickness at all but still succumbed to death in their sleep. Out of fear their next male relatives might die next, some of the villagers sought the help of a spirit medium to consult the spirit world about what was happening. 3. Eventually, the couple became known in the lecture circuit and the TV exposure furthered their careers. 2. The Iceman’s GhostOn September 19, 1991, German hikers, Helmut and Erika Simon stumbled across a frozen, dead body high up on the Ötztal Alps close to the Austrian–Italian border. A local archeologist, Konrad Spindler examined the body and dated it to be around “4,000 years old” basing it on the items found near remains. 1. Curse of King Tut and Tomb of TimurMummies and curses go hand in hand. And there’s no others more famous then that of King Tut and the conqueror Timur. King Tut’s tomb was first discovered in 1922 by Howard Carter, at the urging of his financial backer, George Herbert, the fifth Earl of Carnarvon. On November 22, 1922, Howard, the Earl and his daughter managed to open King Tut’s tomb and found several golden artifacts inside. 4 MEGALITHIC Sites That CHANGE The History Books

It’s widely taught around the world that the Sumerians were the earliest know civilization dating back around 6,000 years ago. But there are certain megalithic sites that simply don’t fit into that time frame and point to advanced cultures being around much much earlier then it’s currently being taught. The four structures on this list are amazing, not just in size but in what they possibly reveal about mankind’s true history. Gudang Padang Megalithic Site, IndonesiaGudang Padang is a site that sits close to the village of Karyamukti in West Java, Indonesia. First mentioned in the Report of the Department of Antiquities in 1914 and again in 1949 by Dutch historian, N.J. Krom, this place was only first officially visited in 1979 for archeological and historical purposes. What makes the Gudang Padang Megalithic site so fascinating is the possibility it could be the biggest megalithic structure ever built in the world. Even more, it could also be the oldest structure discovered so far, dating back sometime between 5,000 to 23,000 years old. To put in perspective, if true, it is older than the Egyptian Pyramids and even Gobekli Tepe in Turkey. At 23,000 years old, Gudang Padang and those that lived there were likely thriving and standing before the last Ice Age occured in 11,700 B.C. 3. Baalbeck, Lebanon Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the ruins at Baalbeck in Lebanon is considered a cornerstone of ancient civilization. The area has shown continued human habitation since 9000 B.C., making it an important part of human kinds ancient history. Through the centuries, Baalbeck has been a religious site for Christians, Muslims, Romans and even the Mesopotamians. In fact, many of the structures built there were once religious temples used by its inhabitants to serve and worship their respective gods. 2. 33,000-year-Old Bosnian PyramidsDiscovered in 2005, the Bosnian Pyramids are stirring up controversy for our current historical timeline. For centuries, the hills around Visoko, Bosnia were thought of as nothing more than just natural formations. It wasn’t until 2005 when Dr. Sam Osmanagich, an amateur archeologist and a decades-long pyramid enthusiast, first visited Visoko and noticed it seemed there was something more underneath the 3-foot thick vegetation. After researching and visiting hundreds of pyramid complexes around the world, he recognized the hill had noticeable slopes, triangular faces, obvious corners and a deliberate orientation. This led him to believe these “natural hills” were actually forgotten pyramids. 1. The OsirionConsidered as one of the most ancient sites in Upper Egypt, Abydos is believed to be where the ancient head of Osiris was buried. For centuries, it’s been considered a sacred city Hence, it was chosen as the location for the Great Temple of Abydos, otherwise known as the Temple of Seti I. The Temple of Seti I is the only structure in Egypt with a unique “L-shaped” design. It’s also known for having some of the finest raised reliefs and the only one with a full list of the Kings and Gods that presided over Egypt.Support the show Learn more about your ad choices.
