ONE OF the world's most dangerous professions right now has to be Iranian nuclear scientist. Four have been assassinated in the last two years, and the Iranian government claims to have evidence that the U.S. is responsible for the latest killing.Meanwhile, Foreign Policy, the official magazine of the Council on Foreign Relations, has published an expose of a false flag operation by the Mossad in which Israeli intelligence operatives posing as CIA agents recruited (Sunni) Pakistani terrorists to strike at (Shia) Iran's nuclear program. In other words, it appears that Israel may have wanted to draw the US into a war by prompting Iran to retaliate against American assets. DEAR LEADER has shuffled off this mortal coil. 69-year-old Kim Jong Il, the, uh, eccentric dictator of North Korea, died over the weekend, reportedly of a heart attack. The question now is whether a fight over Kim's succession will follow. THE MOST compelling news item of the week was the indictment of former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky on charges that he sexually abused boys as young as age 10 over a number of years. STANDARD & POOR'S downgraded the debt of the United States to AA+ after the close of business Friday, a move that some analysts think could trigger the second dip of a recession. Several news sources report that part of the deal includes the creation of a new twelve-member panel, six Democrats and six Republicans representing both houses of Congress, that would have the power to create fast-track legislation — bills that could be voted on by the full houses of Congress, but could not be filibustered or amended.Well, why not. TEXAS GOV. Rick Perry is heading up a day of prayer in Houston on August 6th, an event called The Response. We find this disturbing for a couple of reasons: First, Gov. Perry references Joel chapter 2, which describes the demonic army that ravages Israel; and second, this event is coordinated and endorsed by prominent players within the New Apostolic Reformation.Joel's Army means something very different to the NAR than it does for most of us, and our prayer is that Gov. Perry means well but is uninformed about what these people are about. THE SUPREME Court of Indiana ruled last week that "a right to resist an unlawful police entry into a home is against public policy and is incompatible with modern Fourth Amendment jurisprudence." In other words, if police break in your door without a warrant, either let them in or go to jail for resisting and try to prove yourself innocent later.This ruling overturns common law dating back nearly 800 years, to the English Magna Carta of 1215. It effectively strikes down the Fourth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. SCIENTISTS ARE reportedly panicking over the disturbing discovery that the rate of radiological decay isn't constant. It appears to fluctuate on a 33-day cycle, which, maybe not coincidentally, corresponds to the rotation of the Sun's core.What does this mean?
