Ep 578Police Chase Shooting and Crash, Aband

Police Chase Shooting and Crash, Abandoned By Government. During a high-speed chase, Police Lieutenant Charles Neill was shot in the head, barely surviving a subsequent crash. The incident occurred in Oologah, Oklahoma, where Lt. Neill was responding to a call for assistance from Talala Police Officer Stephen Pales. The pursuit, spanning 24 miles and ending in Kansas, turned disastrous when suspects fired at police cars and other vehicles, hitting Lt. Neill in the head. #Free #Podcast #Radio Miraculously, Lt. Neill survived the violent crash, aided by first responders and medical teams. However, the aftermath revealed a different struggle. Despite suffering life-altering injuries, he felt abandoned by the Town and State Government, claiming they failed to support him and his family adequately. Police Chase Shooting and Crash, Abandoned By Government. The aftermath unfolded as Lt. Neill faced delays in workers' compensation, hindering crucial medical treatments. It took two weeks for workers' compensation to file a case, leaving the hospital to use his private insurance initially. The subsequent bureaucratic hurdles resulted in delayed neurology appointments and a prolonged approval process for necessary medical devices. Lt. Neill, enduring multiple surgeries and therapy, expressed the constant pain stemming from the shooting. His injuries include migraine headaches and bulging disks in his neck and lower back. The physical toll on his body, compounded by the slow workers' compensation process, left him in a state of limbo, unable to secure a medical retirement from his department. Police Chase Shooting and Crash, Abandoned By Government. The financial strain added to the challenges, with disability payments capped at a little less than $400 per week. Lt. Neill and his wife, a schoolteacher, found themselves fighting for every bit of medical treatment, even going to court to settle a $36,000 bill for a life flight. Despite his military background and recent college graduation, Lt. Neill faced unexpected hurdles in his pursuit of justice, highlighting systemic issues in the workers' compensation system that affected not only his career but also his family's well-being. Ep 577Warriors, Police, Veterans Help Each Other. Special Episode.

Warriors Police Veterans Helping Each Other: A Special Episode. In the realm of law enforcement, the term "warriors" extends beyond the battlefield and into the heart of communities. Law enforcement officers, akin to warriors on the front lines, confront the harsh realities of their profession daily. The weight of responsibility, coupled with the unpredictability of the job, can leave lasting scars. Warriors Police Veterans Helping Each Other. Chris understands this all too well, having witnessed the toll it takes on his fellow officers. Yet, in the face of adversity, he found a calling, to give back and assist others who share the burden of maintaining law and order. #Free #Podcast #Radio Chris Thorp, a retired law enforcement officer from the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Department, knows the significance of being a warrior in the service of justice. Warriors Police Veterans Helping Each Other. He recounts his hardest day as a Sheriff's Deputy, a day etched with challenges that tested not only his physical prowess but also his mental resilience. Chris's commitment to supporting his comrades led him to embrace Operation Enduring Warrior - Task Force Sentinel where Warriors Police Veterans Helping Each Other. This organization stands as a beacon of hope for military veterans, first responders, and law enforcement officers grappling with the aftermath of their service. It is a testament to the spirit of warriors helping each other, transcending the boundaries between professions. In a world where the line between heroes and civilians blurs, the call to join hands becomes more resounding. Warriors Police Veterans and EMTs, united by a common purpose, rally together. They recognize that the challenges extend beyond the physical realm, acknowledging the silent battles fought within—the struggles against PTSD and the trauma that lingers long after the sirens fade. The camaraderie among these warriors is a force that binds them together. They understand that on the hardest days, it's the collective strength that sees them through. Physical injuries may heal with time, but the scars of the mind demand a different kind of healing—one that comes from mutual support and understanding. Chris Thorp's journey exemplifies the essence of warriors coming together, not only to share their stories but to actively help each other. Operation Enduring Warrior is a conduit for this collective effort, channeling the resilience of those who've faced the hardest days into programs that address both the visible and invisible wounds. In law enforcement, veterans, and emergency responders, the threads of support form a resilient bond. It's a testament to the idea that in joining forces, these warriors can make a difference not just in their own lives but in the lives of those who continue to stand on the front lines. The call to action echoes loudly—to join, to help, and to ensure that no warrior faces their hardest days alone. Operation Enduring Warrior (OEW) where Warriors Police Veterans Helping Each Other, is a veteran-founded non‐profit 501(c)(3) whose mission is to honor, empower, and motivate our nation’s wounded military and law enforcement veterans through physical, mental and emotional rehabilitation. The assailant, after the heinous act, carjacked a vehicle, fleeing into the city of Pittsburgh. But the pursuit did not end there. In a wooded area, the suspect engaged in a final confrontation with law enforcement, leading to his demise. The cost of this tragedy was high, with Chief McIntire paying the ultimate price for his unwavering commitment to protecting his community. His journey traversed the ranks from patrol officer to detective, sergeant, lieutenant, and even district commander in one of Connecticut's busiest police districts. Years of his career were spent undercover as Police vs Mob. Ray's experience on the silver screen helped with his undercover police work. He delves into the gritty world of deep undercover operations as a Police Officer vs The Mob, facing the unvarnished truths of combating violent organized crime. During a three-year covert assignment, he infiltrated and dismantled a menacing organized crime syndicate referred to as the mob. In this episode about Police vs Mob he tells his story. This wasn't just about going undercover; it entailed assuming a new identity, severing all ties with the police department, and confronting the very real skills, threats, and dangers lurking in the criminal underworld as an Undercover Police Officer vs The Mob. Hassett's expertise extends to hostage negotiation, having received FBI training and serving as the Officer in Charge of the NHPD's Hostage Negotiation Unit since 2003. He's Crisis Intervention trained (CIT) and leads CIT officers in Connecticut, recognized as CIT Officer of the Year by the Connecticut Alliance to Benefit Law Enforcement (CABLE). Today, he continues to instruct police officers in de-escalation techniques, fostering improved interactions with the public and individuals in the mental health community. During his career he worked in deep undercover as a Police Officer investigating Organized Crime groups also known as the Mob. In addition to his local impact, Lt. Hassett's influence spans the globe. As a contractor for the U.S. State Department's Bureau of Diplomatic Security, he imparts his wisdom on hostage negotiation and behavioral observation development to foreign police agencies in various countries, from the Middle East to the Philippines, India, Colombia, Tajikistan, Jamaica, and North Africa. But Ray's journey into law enforcement wasn't conventional. He began as a patrol officer in 1987, only to officially leave the force in 1990, adopting a new identity to work undercover in organized crime as a police officer vs the mob. In 1993, he rose to the rank of detective, tackling cases in the Narcotics Division, the Major Crimes Unit, and the Arson Squad. His dedication to community service led him to collaborate with The Yale Child Studies Program. This initiative brought together child psychologists and first responders, helping children affected by homicide and domestic violence. As a Fellow with the Yale Child Studies Center, Hassett spread this program to other police agencies in the region. In 1996, he ascended to the rank of Sergeant, serving as Acting District Commander of the Chapel/Dwight Police District after a brief stint as a street supervisor in Patrol. By 1999, he achieved the rank of Lieutenant and became the permanent District Commander of the Chapel/Dwight Neighborhood, one of the busiest police districts in New Haven. It was in this role that he excelled, implementing innovative problem-solving strategies and nurturing close collaborations within diverse and ever-changing neighborhoods, significantly enhancing the quality of life. Before his entry into law enforcement, Ray's life took an interesting turn. He was once a professional actor who toured Europe with his improv partner John Ratzenberger. His film credits include iconic titles like "Superman: The Movie," "Ragtime," "The Spy Who Loved Me," "The Empire Strikes Back," and "Body Double." Interestingly, he often employs professional actors to simulate real-life incidents, aiding negotiators in better preparation for unit callouts. In essence, Lt. Hassett's career exemplifies the stark realities and multifaceted nature of law enfor
