Ep 632How to Get Influencers to do Collabs & Respond to DMs [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]

Influencers are a great way to spread the word about your products and services, however it can be hard to get their attention, form a relationship with them and collaborate together. Join Rob as he reveals how to grab influencers' attention to ensure a response from them. Learn the importance of growing your own following to capture their attention, how creating content for them can encourage a positive relationship and why going through mutual acquaintances can build the trust every influencer wants. KEY TAKEAWAYS The bigger your following, the greater influence you have. Having a certain number of followers is a credibility indicator. Do your best to continuously grow your following and people will respond to you quicker. If you focus on building your Clubhouse platform, your Instagram following will simultaneously grow along with it. Connect with influencers through people who you know that are connected to them already. Take a little bit of time to work out who is connected to the individual whom you want to collaborate with. Sometimes it is better to go a bit slower and find out who is connected to someone and go through the mutual acquaintance as this will build trust. Create content for influencers and send it to them. Many influencers struggle with the volume of content they are required to put out there, so when people send them content that is relevant to their personal brand they will likely want to work alongside you again. Create image quotes of their content that you can post on your social media and tag the original creator in it. They will see this and engage and respond to your post. You can pay really big commissions on your products and services. If you are asking people to promote your products but are only paying a small percentage in return, then there is not much incentive for the influencer. However, if you up your commission to a larger amount then people are going to be more likely to want to share it as they are going to earn well out of it. BEST MOMENTS “You should be getting to know them first and looking at how you can help them.” “When you go through a trusted source it is much easier.” Build your clubhouse and you will build your instagram.” “I can’t understand why anybody wouldn’t have a podcast.” [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. Ep 631RANT! Handling Lockdown Stress & Creating Income From Home [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]

In today’s podcast, join Rob as he discusses how to handle the stresses of lockdown 3.0 and how you can create a new income from the comfort of your own home. Rob discusses how you can stay positive during lockdown by cultivating your social media network and friendships to ensure you remain upbeat. He also shares his top tips to homeschooling and discusses how you can turn the information in your head into income in your bank account. KEY TAKEAWAYS How do you stay positive in the lockdown, when the world isn’t? Firstly, you need to cultivate your social media feeds, curate your friendships very carefully and be careful of the media and influencers you put in your head. You must protect your energy. We are programmed to be more attuned to negativity so you have to take control and ensure negativity does not take over your mindset. Whilst raising kids is rewarding, it can at times, be very hard. It is even harder during lockdown whilst having to juggle home schooling. A top tip to make things slightly easier would be to batch the times in the day such as before they wake up in the morning, where you can get some work done. You can only do what you can do and remember not to beat yourself up if you can’t do anymore. Nothing is all good, and nothing's all bad. If you’re feeling depressed it is because you are only seeing the downsides of the lockdown, however if you were to look at the upsides such as long walks, more time at home or potential new business ventures you may see a light at the end of the tunnel. If you think about what you’re grateful for, how your future could be changed for the better and where the opportunities are then you will lift yourself out of the depression quite quickly. There is good and bad in every situation and in every day. We tend to make one thing, everything, meaning if one thing goes wrong we believe everything has gone wrong. However this is not always the case. Whilst one or two things may have gone wrong during your day, not everything went wrong. Reflect on what went well and your mindset will change. However, when everything is seemingly all good, remember there are likely to be challengers as well. There are many different business models that are working well in lockdown. For those who are starting a whole new business, e-commerce is thriving during the pandemic. Platforms such as Shopify, Amazon and Etsy are a brilliant way to get your products sold online. An even less risky strategy of that business model is to sell information virtually. Turn the information in your head into income in your bank account. BEST MOMENTS “I’m only having one conversation a day about The Government, Boris or Lockdown.” “You must protect your energy.” “Surround yourself in positive audiobooks and positive Clubhouses, listening to positive podcasts around positive people. What you put in your mind, you become.” [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. Ep 630Kevin Clifton: Life After Strictly Come Dancing & Goal Setting [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]

In this week’s show, Kevin Clifton talks to one of his mentors, author, property investor and our host of the ‘Disruptive Entrepreneur’; Rob Moore! Kevin asks Rob his view on various subjects such as the impact of Covid 19 on his business and how he turned the downside to an upside, his coping strategies and the use of social media. KEY TAKEAWAYS Having more structure to your days and creating a new routine for yourself can be beneficial to your productivity. Having a structure whereby you map out your days means that you are more likely to achieve these things. Having this also forces you to be more disciplined. There is a lot of pressure from society to work a certain amount of hours per day. Comparison is often the thief of all joy. Stop comparing your routine to others and do what works best for you. The social media algorithms are designed to make us addicted to those platforms. The more they have us on their channels the more money they make. Everything has an upside and a downside, as soon as you see something as all upside you’re in a fantasy. If you go on social media expecting nothing but upside, then you are naive about the reality of it. It is important to set rules. Even if it is something as small as what time you read your book or what you have for breakfast. Putting those rules in place means that you are now a disciplined person. The line between social media being good for you and damaging for you is very fine. You need to have the wisdom to know where that line is. Keep the way you use social media ever-evolving. Social media feeds you what you have told it you want to see. If you are seeing things you don't want to see you need to give the platform feedback so that it will show you other stuff. Make sure you are consuming media that you enjoy. If you know something will harm you, don't listen to something because others said that they enjoyed it. Surround yourself with stuff that is going to influence you in the way that you want to be influenced. BEST MOMENTS ‘If you knew your future that would ruin it immediately’ 21.12 ‘Anxiety is a worry about the future, guilt is a regret of the past’ 23.19 ‘Routine equals results, discipline equals freedom’ 29.28 ‘Do easy things for a hard life or do hard things for an easy life’ 30.50 ‘The line between social media being good for you and damaging to you is a fine line’ 57.07 ABOUT THE GUEST Kevin Clifton is a professional dancer who has been performing & competing at the highest level for over a decade. Kevin has worked on shows like 'Burn the floor' & 'Rock of Ages' to 'Strictly Come Dancing' one of the biggest TV shows in the UK which Kevin won in 2018. Ep 62910 Ways to 10x Your Following (Multiple Channels) [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]

In today’s episode, Rob shares with you a masterclass on how to 10x your followers across multiple media channels. This is the result of a three hour Clubhouse Room he did recently where Rob and other members, many of whom have multi millions of followers across their various channels, discussed strategies and tactics on how to 10x followers. These vary from the more obvious social media platforms and ways you can manipulate the functions in these, to other not so obvious methods you may not have thought of! KEY TAKEAWAYS - Have a podcast – if you’ve not already started a podcast, you’re missing reaching a massive new audience. Podcast listeners are buyers; they are different to Facebook followers and Clubhouse Room followers. Please direct message Rob for any help with setting up the tech and logistics etc. - Have a You Tube channel and go live with your interviews. This way you’ll not only reach your own audience but the audience of the person you’ve interviewed. - Do shout out story collaborations with other users on Facebook and Instagram – if they do the same for you, you’ll grow your audience. - Do Clubhouse Rooms – you’ll find users from around the world you’ve not found on other channels and consider collaborating with other members; this is an invaluable way of reaching a new audience. - Email joint venture swaps – look for people who have a database a level below you or a level above you in the number of followers they have to forward your content to. - Daily Tik Tok videos – don’t dismiss it if you don’t think you’re young or trendy enough, it’s not all about lip synching and dancing. Merge what you know with Tik-Tok. In addition, daily Instagram reels is like Tik-Tok for Instagram – the reach is massive. - Create content for bigger followers – tag influencers who have more followers than you in on your content, this will get you more shares and engagement especially if they engage with the post too. Also comment on big influencers – if you’re not commenting on the influencers you want to get noticed by, they won’t know you exist. - Hand write letters to people you want on your podcast, to good clients, influencers you’d like to collaborate with. No one writes letters these days, so when someone receives a hand written letter they’re much more likely to accept a collaboration with you. BEST MOMENTS ‘You’re better off getting five micro influencer at 20,000 level shout outs than you are one at a 100,000 level due to the level of engagement’ ‘Go where the virality is; don’t get set on the one platform’ ‘Create engagement, discussion; not trolling debate, insightful debate’ [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. Ep 628The Millionaire Mindset: Think & Grow Rich (HUGE Influencer Natasha Grano) [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]

Do you ever wonder what the mindset of a millionaire must be like? Well listen in today as Rob is joined by Instagram powerhouse, motivational speaker and author Natasha Grano and discover how you can change your mindset, into that of a winning one. Together they discuss the importance of self-belief, the problem solving mindset and how to be authentic. KEY TAKEAWAYS If you don't believe in yourself, why should anybody else? If you don't have the skills and talents and experience that you want yet you have to put yourself into your future projection of yourself and believe that you can become the thing that you want to become. Your goal in life should be to find what makes you happy, find out what is your purpose, what serves others and what you are good at. You need to be able to monetize what you are good at, expand it and scale it. The mindset for solving problems is simple. Are you prepared to solve this problem with continued enthusiasm? The test to know if you are on brand and doing something that you love is overcoming new problems, with continued enthusiasm. If you can get into that mindset, you can overcome all of your problems. Authenticity is owning your strengths and weaknesses. There are people that are overconfident, and there are people that are overly humble. Being real and honest with yourself about what your strengths and weaknesses are will attract greatness and people who can help you improve on your weaknesses. Your friends, family and strangers may advise you not to go for new opportunities as they deem it to be risky. As long as you know in your heart that you’re meant to do this, and you are constantly taking feedback to move towards your goals then you are on track. To know that you are on track, you have got to know where your destination is and that is where your personal vision and mission comes in. There is a big misunderstanding when it comes to the flow of economics. It is not admirable if you buy material items purely to show off or for addiction purposes. However there is a lot of gratitude and giving in owning nice things, and that is misunderstood. BEST MOMENTS “I believe that I would become a successful property investor, that helped me attract finance before I was maybe ready. I hate the phrase ‘fake it until you make it’, but I love the phrase ‘be it until you see it’. “Manage your emotions and you will master your life.” “The skillset without the mindset will leave you upset.” ABOUT THE GUEST Natasha Grano is a motivational speaker, author, social media expert and film producer. Previously focusing on capturing the digital world, creating a personal brand, and amassing over 1 million followers across social media platforms within 1 year, Natasha is moving forwards into a new chapter. She has used her platform to sign a record deal and Co-Produce a Hollywood film. Drawing on her experiences, while using her extensive network to support her passion for bringing like minded creative individuals together, Natasha is on a mission to mentor and help draw the full potential out of people. With the promise that positivity, proactiveness and a heartfelt passion in whatever it is you're doing is a sure way to get the very best out of life. Ep 627Joe Foster: Billionaire Co Founder of Reebok [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]

Today Rob is joined by entrepreneur, author and co-founder of Reebok, Joe Foster. Joe tells his fascinating story of how he took Reebok to become a $4billion company, from creating the Reebok brand, breaking America and selling the company. This is a life story you don’t want to miss. Learn some valuable life and business lessons with the founder of one of the most successful businessmen in the world. KEY TAKEAWAYS People always advise not to go into business with friends, iIt doesn’t matter if you make friends with a business colleague, but don’t go into business with friends or family. However, if you understand each other's work style, it can work. Find out what each other is good at and utilise those skills. If you have an issue, speak about it openly to overcome it. When you talk about business, you have to put luck into the equation. Whilst hard work and determination will eventually get you results, luck can come in all forms which can help you along the way. Perhaps your competitors will hit a wall or you will tap into a new market early on and it will boom. The world has been very peaceful since the end of the War. Now during the aftermath of the pandemic, people are becoming disruptive. A lot of people want a lot because it is put out to society that it is desirable to have tonnes of money and travel the world. It takes a lot more now to make people happy, they are not as happy as others once were when they had far less. Disruption means to change things without asking permission. When there is a change in the market go for it. Your competitors might think a new trend is just a phase in the industry, however this could catapult you into the lead of your niche industry. A phase can last 10-12 years, and can grow your company into the biggest in the industry. BEST MOMENTS “Reebok is a shoe, it's no longer a bird.” “I was the boss, and I could make the decisions.” “If you start to starve a market, you fail.” “It was time for me to leave. The challenge was gone, but the ride had been excellent.” ABOUT THE GUEST: Joseph William Foster is the co-founder (with his brother Jeff) of Reebok. He shares the same birthday 18 May, as his grandfather, also Joseph William Foster who had died 18 months earlier. Joe's grandfather was the founder of J.W. Foster and Sons and the pioneer of the spiked running shoe, and also developed the trainer (sneaker). The Reebok business developed with Jeff looking after production, Joe took charge of the sales and marketing side, as well as design which included the classic silhouette, outsole and the Starcrest. In the early years Joe travelled many miles introducing Reebok’s offering shoes to Sports Retailers up and down the country. By 1965, Joe was on his way to the NSGA (National Sporting Goods of America) Show in Chicago, which was the start of many Global adventures and experiences that after 15 years brought him together with Paul Fireman and later many stars of film and television. As the surviving founder of Reebok, Joe still welcomes the opportunity to travel and recount those early stories from start-up to making Reebok the World No. 1 sports brand. Joe currently resides in Tenerife, where he is writing a book of his many experiences and adventures. Ep 626How to Dramatically Increase Your Fees (The 6 Areas) [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]

In today’s brief but powerful episode, Rob talks his audience through the six areas where you can increase your fees. These include the knowledge plus experience formula, his unique take on the ‘hero and the guide’, increasing your self worth, over subscribing your services and not forgetting the easiest one of all – offering great service. KEY TAKEAWAYS Knowledge plus experience equals results. If you gain more knowledge in something, turn it into an experience of things you do or things you’ve done and you get proven results; this is a winning formula to increase your fees. Your self worth equals your net worth. If you increase your own feeling of how you perceive yourself; your own value in the market place, your confidence, your volition, your passion of delivery and understanding that you have value, your fees will go up. Most people when they’re positioning and promoting themselves put themselves as the ‘hero’ whereas you might want to position yourself as the ‘guide’. Make your client the hero. Use your testimonials, your results in the market – they will sell better than you can. Get recommendations and referral’s from your clients and contacts and don’t be afraid to ask for these. The more value you offer, the higher your fees can be. Keep offering more and more value. Perceived over actual hard costs to you means you can sustain a fair margin. Sell your stuff out! Over subscribe the services you offer, have more demand than supply and everyone will want in. Get to the point where you’re full and then increase your fees. Make sure you’re offering great service – care, serve, solve, fix problems, be kind, look after your clients and think about the small details. BEST MOMENTS ‘What you know still has value’ ‘Your self worth equals your net worth’ ‘If you don’t believe in yourself, why should anyone else?’ ‘You cannot fill from an empty cup’ ‘Facts tell but stories sell’ ‘Serve more than you ask for, give more than you take’ [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. Ep 625RANT: STOP Moaning About Clubhouse (& do This Instead) [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]

Those that moan about Clubhouse are those that will not get value from it. Clubhouse is the evolution of social media, it is the exponential, viral social media platform of the present. In today’s podcast, Rob discusses why those who moan about people spending too much time on Clubhouse, have not worked out how to utilise Clubhouse correctly, how to filter the rooms to best suit you and how you can use it to create your personal brand. KEY TAKEAWAYS Clubhouse is the evolution of social media. The world doesn’t move unless people sell things. Clubhouse is another platform for people to pitch on, this is not a bad thing. However, if you don’t like the ‘pitchy’ rooms, then you can go into a different room. There may be times when people talk over each other, and it is hard to keep track of what is going on, however, If you go into good rooms, with good moderators then all that stuff will sort itself out. Clubhouse is the exponential, viral social media of the present moment. Many people who take to Facebook to vent about Clubhouse, may have not worked out how best to utilise the platform yet. If you pick the right rooms you can learn a lot from Clubhouse. At the moment, it is a land grab and therefore people have to give value otherwise people will leave their rooms. It is essentially like getting free mentoring. BEST MOMENTS “I'd rather be sat on Clubhouse all day than sat on Facebook all day bitching about Clubhouse.” “It makes no difference to me if you go on Clubhouse or not.” “It has been a complete game changer for me and my personal brand.” [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. Ep 624Jim Mellon: Billionaire Investor & Entrepreneur [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]

Today Rob is joined by the international investor, author, and billionaire Jim Mellon. Jim is an expert in fund management, investment, and biotechnology. Together Rob and Jim discuss the impact COVID will have on business, how cycles of disruption are becoming faster and how to use your money for the greater good. KEY TAKEAWAYS The internet has allowed the flow of information to be so much faster. The effect of that on entrepreneurship is that companies can rise and fall much faster because it is so much easier to start-up companies and therefore allows for greater competition. The internet has also allowed for collaborations en masse. Covid is likely to be the development of novel technologies, drugs, and therapies to protect older cohorts. This is because COVID is a gerolavic disease as it mainly affects elderly people. The reason why many elderly are dying from COVID is that their immune system is compromised, the process of building up their immunity has been accelerated because we cannot afford to go through another pandemic. There are three things everyone has got to remember. The first is ‘curiosity’ if you’re going to be successful you have to look at everything and see the opportunity. Secondly ‘application’ is important, apply yourself daily to reach good results. Finally, focus on getting the right business model in the first place, do not try to do too much at once. Most people who go to university at 18, really don’t know what they want to do with their lives. Generally speaking, University is a good thing, you don’t just learn something which may or may not be relevant to your future endeavors but you also create a large network of people. There is nothing wrong with accumulating more money as long as you have got good intentions with it and you are not just going to sit on it and do nothing with it or abuse it. It doesn’t matter how much money you have, don’t waste it. if we are going to get richer, happier, and have more time for leisure and knowledge, then you need to start thinking about what are the great upcoming trends that will eclipse everything we have seen in the past century. Those disruptive factors will have an impact on absolutely everyone, if you think you are in a safe job, you’re not as everything is subject to much faster cycles of disruption than it was in the past. BEST MOMENTS “Information can never be unlearnt.” “You make your luck” “If you want to be successful you have got to work” “If you go to bed early you will be healthy, wealthy, and wise.” “For some people that is daunting. For others, it is an opportunity.” ABOUT THE GUEST Jim Mellon is an international investor with interests in several industries. After leaving Oxford, where he studied PPE, (Philosophy, Politics, and Economics) he worked in Asia and the United States for two fund management companies, GT and Thornton, before establishing his own business in 1991. His business operations include two components, alisted fund management company called Charlemagne Capital, and an Asian mining group, Regent Pacific. Also, Mr. Mellon is the Co-Chairman of West African Minerals Corporation and Regent Pacific Group. He is on the board of several public quoted companies, including Brazilian Gold Corporation, Charlemagne Capital Limited, Manx Financial Group, Plethora Solutions, Polo Resources, Port Erin Biopharma Investments Limited, and the Speymill plc. He is the life tenant of a trust which owns the Burnbrae Group, which has substantial assets in the biotechnology, financial services, property, mining, and leisure sectors. Mr. Mellon spends most of his time working on startup ideas and investing. His book, “Wake Up!” was published in 2005; his second book "10 Investments for the Ten Years Ahead" was published in 2008. In 2012, he co-wrote "Cracking the Code" which focuses on the biotechnology sector and how to profit from it. Jim lives in the Isle of Man, Brussels, and Ibiza and is an honorary fellow of Oriel College, Oxford. Ep 623Marketing/Growth Tactics That Cost Nothing Part 2 [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]

Are you looking for advice on how to grow and market your business, but worried you don’t have the budget? Listen in to part two of this invaluable mini series and discover 5 more growth marketing tactics that cost absolutely nothing. Join Rob as he discusses the importance of the ‘related search’ function on Google and LinkedIn, how consistent content uploads can increase your following and reach and why you should never be afraid to put your prices up. KEY TAKEAWAYS The ‘Related Search’ function on Google and LinkedIn can help you find new clients to work with. As soon as you have got one or two clients, search their name on Google or LinkedIn and the algorithm will suggest people who are similar to your existing clients. You want to get more clients who are already like your existing clients. You can also do ‘job title search’ on LinkedIn. LinkedIn is the only platform whereby you can search by job title. Once you have got a few clients from a specific industry, you can search for that job role on LinkedIn and find other people in your clients’ industry. Once you have found them, do not spam them. Find them, connect with them and write them a personal message. Consistent content marketing is underrated. Many people are not consistent with their content marketing, they do not stick with a regular upload schedule and leave their followers in the dark. It is better to do four pieces of content each week for months on end, than it is to do sporadic, inconsistent uploads. Start getting used to putting your content out there. Be consistent with creating new content and you will eventually build compounding momentum. This momentum will lead to higher engagement rates, new followers and an increase of likes and comments. Up your prices. If you up your prices, then the margin of your increased prices is almost 100%. You are already paying all of your overhead on your existing prices, if you put your prices up by 10% the majority of that is profit. As soon as you put your prices up you can potentially double your profits each time. Don’t be scared to put your prices up. BEST MOMENTS “Start handwriting your letters and you will get good results.” “The related search strategy is really good for finding clients that are like your clients.” “Big media companies are looking for articles on these breaking news subjects.” “That can absolutely gain you reach, traction, new followers and new fans.” [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. Ep 622RANT About Clubhouse & Other Cool Biz Tips [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]

Listen in to today's new and exciting podcast as your host Rob Moore is joined by American investor, network marketer and professional influencer Jessie Lee Ward. Together they discuss the impact that Clubhouse has had on the social media world, how you are your own worst critic and how to create content that can be turned into assets. KEY TAKEAWAYS Podcasts are a great way to expand your reach, your brand and your followers. Podcasting can also help expand your followership on other social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok and Facebook. You can be an inconsistent person, but once you start a podcast you will continue as you will feel obliged to publish an episode. If you’re not consistent with your podcast, it will never take off. So many times in life you are one or two people away from the person that can change your whole life. Clubhouse gives you the ability to meet these people. It is high level networkers that you otherwise would not have the ability to meet. Clubhouse is home to very high level leads, business owners and high quality entrepreneurs. Clubhouse gives you the ability to be in a virtual room with multi-millionaires and if you want to be a multi-millionaire, then you have to spend more time in their company. Even if you just pick up on their word patterning or the energy of someone who runs huge businesses, then you are one step closer to success. Say yes to stuff that makes you feel uneasy. People will not remember if you make mistakes, you’re going to internalise the mistakes a lot more than other people. You’re judging yourself a lot more than anybody is judging you. Many people don’t put out content because they don’t feel they look good enough, stop judging yourself by your own high standards and look at your content how your friends and family would. Stop being stingy with your ‘goodness’. Share more content, give more value to people and tell people ‘this is what I did, and it worked for me.’ The more you do that, the more it will help others. Share your audiences with other people in your industry, collaborate with others and help people along the way on their own journey to success. Repurpose your content and use it across multiple social media platforms. Repurposing content will allow you to create assets that you can continuously utilise and monetise. This will allow you to reach people across all different platforms which will eventually boost your reach, your engagement and up your followership. BEST MOMENTS “Once people start podcasting they can’t stop.” “I’ve had the craziest networking experience.” “Elon Musk was on Clubhouse. Listen to the way he speaks, listen to the patterns of his words and the patience in the words he speaks.” “That kind of engagement boosts all kinds of organic reach.” ABOUT THE GUEST Jessie Lee is a verified multi-million dollar earner in the network marketing profession. She's also an investor, owns traditional businesses, is it diehard loyal friend, and a crazy dog mom. She lives in Texas and travels the world coaching and training her global Empire. Ep 621Michael Jackson's Bodyguard of 10 Years Spills the Beans (& Lessons) [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]

DESCRIPTION Join Rob Moore today for an exclusive interview with Matt Fiddes, the most respected expert in the international world of martial arts, personal trainer to the stars and trusted employee of international superstar Michael Jackson. Together they discuss Matt’s incredible life story, what it was like working for pop legend Michael Jackson and lessons he learnt along the way. An interview you do not want to miss. KEY TAKEAWAYS Don’t talk about people and things, talk about ideas. Use your time to come up with how to make your first or next million or what your newest big idea is going to be. Keep yourself and others around you accountable for their actions and encourage them to be the best versions of themselves. There is nothing that cannot be done or reached in life. Your qualifications that you gain in school, may not help you on the path to success. Read multiple books a week to allow you to continuously grow throughout your life. Never watch, read or listen to something that you cannot learn from. Don’t be a follower, be a pioneer. We’re all big fans of modelling people, model people you admire, learn from them and then make it better than they or anyone else before them. Practice, practice, practice what you want to become, so that you can take your life to the next level. Get the balance right. Whilst money is great and can allow you to arrive at your problems in style as well as help you to help others, remember that your family is what counts the most. Don’t focus on the money, focus on being good at providing a good service. The money is the reward that comes back to you. The word disruptive means to go against the grain. To be disruptive means to do what others don’t and finding yourself within the top 3% of the population. Learn how to get yourself into the top 3% by continuously learning and smashing your goals. BEST MOMENTS “Money is not the goal here, I still want that standard.” “I had a passive income, I didn't need to work anymore.” “I am my own worst competitor, I have to use my martial arts mindset to get through.” “I thought it was normal, now I look back at 41 years of age and I get why people thought it was strange.” ABOUT THE GUEST Matt Fiddes is one of the most respected experts in the international world of martial arts and fitness. Matt’s achievements have seen him honoured at the highest level, after being inducted into the UK Martial Arts Hall of Fame and presented with the prestigious ‘Martial Arts Superstar Award’. He is a 7th Degree Black Belt Master in Tae Kwon Do and holds Black Belts in Kickboxing and Kung Fu is now one of the most in-demand personal trainers thanks to front covers and interviews in newspapers and magazines worldwide. He has numerous celebrity clientele including actors, supermodels and singers. Undoubtedly Matt’s biggest client was superstar Michael Jackson. Introduced to Matt by his close friend Uri Geller, Matt was Michael’s personal UK bodyguard for over a decade before his tragic death in June 2009. He now runs a multi-million pound, international martial arts franchise which is the world’s biggest martial arts brand in the world. Matt also runs a successful property portfolio in Devon where he offers professional accommodation to 85 people. Ep 620Marketing/Growth Tactics That Cost Nothing [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]

Starting a business in this financial climate can be tough, discover today how to keep your marketing costs down as Rob busts the myth that marketing is expensive! He talks about free marketing tactics with proven success, such as how engaging with other influencers can help organically grow your market, the beauty of handwritten letters and how to grow your following on the new social media platform Clubhouse. KEY TAKEAWAYS Commenting on other influencers posts if a brilliant free marketing tactic. Get the top 100 influencers in your space and niche on Instagram, Facebook and Youtube, turn the notifications on so that you are notified when they post. When they post, engage with them by having a meaningful discussion and debate. You need to be seen by people in order to engage and interact with them. You can get up on the stage in other people's clubhouse rooms and get known by answering people's questions. You can even start your own room which will help up your following. When you repurpose content across multiple channels, it gives you extra leverage. Instead of having to create content for Facebook Lives, Podcasts, Youtube Videos etc you can get multiple repurposing by using the same content across different platforms. Each time you put it on a new channel you get more interest and engagement and naturally you will gain more followers. Handwritten letters are so underrated. You are unlikely to throw away an envelope that came through the post containing a handwritten letter on high quality paper. For collaborations, partnerships or promotional purposes, take your time and hand write them letters. If you send emails out, put a call to action in your P.S. Any email you send out should contain a P.S for your book, podcast or social media pages. People always read the P.S but may not always read the content within the emails. BEST MOMENTS “If you do that, and you do that regularly, and you do that in your niche, then you’re going to build your own following for free.” “Once you get seen, then I know who you are and I can bring you into the discussion.” “People will promote your products and services, even if you’re bigger than them.” [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. Ep 618John Lee Dumas: Godfather of Podcasts | Entrepreneur on Fire [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]

For those of you wanting to create an established and successful podcast or even just hear about someone who has, look no further as Rob is joined by award winning podcast ‘Entrepreneurs On Fire’ host and industry legend John Lee Dumas. Together they discuss the importance of creating a niche podcast, how to stand out in a saturated market and the stages of success. KEY TAKEAWAYS Most podcasters believe that the wider they throw their net the more fish they will catch. Whilst this works in the ocean, it does not work in the podcasting world. You need to create a niche and specific podcast that is the best solution to one real problem in the world. You will be able to create a loyal community of fans who you are able to serve to an amazing, high level. The ‘prodcasters’ have arrived aka the professional podcasters. Back in 2012, there were no professional podcasters, only amateurs. Now the podcast industry is being funded by large sums of money and huge corporations such as Amazon, Google and Apple are getting involved. Many people are turning to the podcasting genre. Gross revenue is great, but anybody can spend $6 Million and make $5 million, the real hard work is making a net profit. Net profit is the lifeline of all businesses, how much money are you able to put into the bank at the end of every month that you can then re-invest? Lifestyle freedom is what you want. Lifestyle freedom is the freedom to live your life, on your terms doing what you want whilst helping the causes that you want. Successful entrepreneurs are amazingly productive. Productive entrepreneurs are people that produce the right work. People who are not successful are always busy, they think they’re productive but they do not get anything tangible done. You need to create your own big idea. It is so critical that people take a step back and learn how to eloquently and intentionally think and talk about what their big idea is in this world. Successful entrepreneurs know how to generate traffic and understand how to gain followers, listeners and fans. There are many people who create high quality content but do not know how to make it reach the masses and gain gumption to make it a success. BEST MOMENTS “My barrier was so high and my competition was so low that I was able to remain as the only game in town for a really long time.” “So much money is pouring into the podcasting game.” “I won and I'm still winning today.” “Every single person wants lifestyle freedom” ABOUT THE GUEST John Lee Dumas is an American podcaster, internet personality and entrepreneur. He is the founder and host of the award-winning podcast, Entrepreneurs on Fire. John Lee Dumas is widely regarded as one of the best viral entrepreneur podcasters in the United States, who started his entrepreneurial career in 2012 and until 2019, has generated over $16 Million in revenue through his podcasts. Ep 617Is THIS The Secret to Life? [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]

It’s the age old question isn’t it? What is the meaning of life? Join Rob today as he details the meaning of life and how you can achieve it. Rob discusses the value in giving to others, how happiness is a journey not a destination and why you should always aim to give without an ulterior motive. KEY TAKEAWAYS The search for happiness is a worthy pursuit. When we find something that makes us happy there is also something else we need to find, happiness is not a destination it is a journey. The phrase ‘finding happiness’ assumes a destination rather than enjoying the pursuit of happiness. The secret to living is giving. Whilst it may feel good to make a lot of money, it feels better to use that money to help others. The more you give the more you live, the more you learn the more you earn. The more you give the more you will receive. You should give without the ulterior motive to receiving, having an ulterior motive feels more like a bribe than a gift. You never get tired of giving to others. Imagine the compounding movement you will create if you commit to helping one person everyday. If you have a passion for helping people then you can turn that into a profession. BEST MOMENTS “The more you give the more you live.” “Instead of ‘you scratch my back I’ll scratch yours’ it should just be ‘i’ll scratch your back.’” “We can achieve great things together.” [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. Ep 616Alex Stemplewski: Viral TikTok Sensation (10 MILLION Followers in Less Than a Year) [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]

TikTok is the new social media platform that has taken the world by storm. Once a platform exclusively used by dancers and teenagers, learn today how you can utilise the platform to grow your business empire. Rob is joined by Alex Stemplewski a TikTok sensation who quit his office job to become a full-time content creator with almost 11 million TikTok followers. Today Alex shares his formula for creating a viral video, how to create quality content and how to monetize TikTok. KEY TAKEAWAYS Platforms will always start with a small group in mind. Eventually, the platform’s audience will broaden and it will become for everyone. Originally TikTok was for dancers and teenagers but slowly and surely it has become for everyone. At this point, you could be doing anything on TikTok, go viral and build up a following. You have to be consistent. It is better to post something than to not post anything. Strive to make the content as high quality as possible. The production quality does not necessarily translate to a good video, if the concept isn’t viral then the video will flop. If you have a good message to put out there, that video can do really well even if it was filmed on an iphone. Quality content is content that resonates with audiences and that creates engagement that allows the algorithm to pick that video and make it go viral. Becoming viral is the hard part. Be intentional and formulate your videos so that you know they will perform well. Post so often that you start to piece together your own formula for a viral video. The TikTok creator fund essentially pays you per view on your video, on a video that gets 4 million views, you would make $100-$200. The majority of TikTok creators monetization comes from brand deals. This is when brands would like to showcase their product or service using the creator’s video. This is essentially advertising on behalf of the brand. One other way to monetize TikTok is by Audio Promos. This is where a musician approaches you to demo their new track in your TikTok video for a fee. When you receive criticism on your videos ask yourself “Why do I need to waste my time responding to that comment?” Don’t allow that comment to waste your time. Ignore the hate and let them swing their punches at nothing, eventually, they will tire out. Let them go otherwise it will result in a waste of mental energy. To create a personal brand means that people have an understanding of what you are all about. Your audience has an in-depth understanding of who you are; what your message is and the ability to recognize your true authentic self. Disruptive means to break down a pattern and anything that people expect. To be disruptive is to interrupt the way people think something is going to go and shock them with a new way of doing things. BEST MOMENTS “That’s when everything changed, the day I got my camera.” “I want to take it to the next level. I have a very big vision.” “It’s a free app, it doesn’t owe you anything, you need to work for those views and make better content, stop complaining.” “A brand deal for a creator of my size can be 5 figures.” [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. Ep 613Allan Scott: The Queens Gambit Writer & Producer [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]

Today on the show, Rob is delighted and privileged to be joined by Allan Scott, a screenwriter, producer and former whisky executive. Allan co-wrote and produced the infamous and hugely successful Netflix show The Queen’s Gambit, a coming of age drama centred around a chess prodigy who struggles with addiction in a quest to become the greatest chess player in the world. Allan talks to Rob about the process of getting the series produced by Netflix after buying the rights of the book the series is based on in 1985 and the lessons he has learned along the way including prejudice and ageism. He also shares with the audience some amusing anecdotes. KEY TAKEAWAYS The Queen’s Gambit is not just a chess story, it’s a story about the orphaned girl central to the story, a girl who lost her mother, was put away in an uncaring orphanage and ignored. Ultimately, it’s a wonderful story about empowerment, chess is the instrument by which she does it. Use your power skills in the same way to reach your personal or professional goals. The story had to be written and produced for an audience who may not understand chess. Garry Kasparov, ten-time world chess champion read the seven episodes and advised that the words check or checkmate would never be used in world-class chess. It had to be indicated to the audience somehow that the players were struggling or doing well. Don’t be afraid to engage the skills and expertise of other people to increase your knowledge. The Queen’s Gambit was a long time in the making. The rights were bought from the writer Walter Tevis’s estate back in 1985. Eight or nine different studios were approached to make a movie based on the book, but there appeared to be prejudice over the idea of a movie about chess. Eventually, after meeting Scott Frank the director, he suggested expanding the story and approaching Netflix. A perfect example of perseverance. Be prepared for rejection and setbacks in your journey to success! The Media very often discuss movies in terms of the Director. People undervalue the contribution that’s brought to a show by the set designer, the production designer, the cameraman. This is also true in all business - teamwork is key, it’s not just about the person at the top. Social Media has changed marketing massively. The use of social media has helped spread the word and contributed to the ongoing success of the Queen’s Gambit - another indication the power of social media has in all areas of life. Motivation shouldn’t always be about commercial gain. Do things so that people can share the same experience, this is very powerful. BEST MOMENTS ‘We all discover something we’re good at when we’re young even if it’s something trivial like juggling and we take a wonderful pleasure in this skill’ ‘There’s nothing I like more than watching an audience respond favourably’ ‘I couldn’t do the next movie unless I thought it was going to be the best one’ ‘Good ideas sometimes have continuing parallel, especially if the premise is good’ ‘Once you can see you have a value, you will learn how to handle that value’ ‘At the end of the day, if you’re not focused on the project and what the values of the project are, you’re not going to have any deals to deal with’ ‘I believe if you have written something good someone will find it’ ‘The best movies are about engaging the audience's emotion. You need four scenes where the audience gasps or admires or laughs; it just has to be an emotional high for a moment’ ‘You have to be slightly wisened and canny about money but at the end of the day, please concentrate only on the project’ ABOUT THE GUEST Allan Scott is a Scottish screenwriter and producer and former Scotch whisky executive. He was nominated for BAFTA’s Alexander Korda Award for Best British Film and a Genie Award for his 1997 film Regeneration. He is the originator, co-producer and co-writer of the stage musical adaption of the 1990s film “The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert” opened in Sydney in October 2006 and has since become the most successful Australian stage musical of all time. More recently, he was executive producer and co-creator of the hugely successful The Queen’s Gambit, adapted from the Walter Tevis novel for Netflix. It was shown in 2020 and is an American coming of age period drama set during the Cold War era and centres around an orphaned chess prodigy who struggles with addiction in a quest to become the greatest chess player in the world. By turning your visions into local, national or even intercontinental visions, you will find that you have greater visions and scale. Build A Big Platform: If you have a vast amount of followers on social media then you are going to be able to easily monetise those channels and have great connections, endorsements and collaborations. Having a large platform allows you to get your message out to the masses. Build A Team Around You: You cannot do everything all by yourself. Many entrepreneurs start by doing everything and end up becoming a jack of all trades and master of none. Focus on high income generating tasks and have your team focus on admin, finance systems and solutions. Do Kind Things Regularly: The kinder you are to others, the kinder life will be to you. It is easy to become focused on the commercial side of things. Don’t forget to do kind things every day. Random acts of kindness will have a massive butterfly effect. People won’t remember how much money you made, they will remember how many people you helped. BEST MOMENTS “Then my world changed. My connections changed. My scale and impact changed.” “If you go for big challenges, people will buy into that.” “When you have a great network, you have a great net-worth.” [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. Ep 611Rant! All This Clubhouse Nonsense [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]

WHAT IS CLUBHOUSE? FIND OUT HERE Have you heard of the new social media trend Clubhouse? Today Rob discusses the assumptions and opinions people have made about the new app and why you should be getting involved as soon as possible. Rob discusses why you should leverage Clubhouse now whilst there are no costs, how you can grow your reach organically and why it can be used to build your personal brand. KEY TAKEAWAYS 90% of the Clubhouse rooms are not about marketing or selling. Many people have assumed that Clubhouse is a marketing scheme. Those that think this could be described as myopic because they are sceptical. People have stated that Clubhouse is time-consuming. Anything can be a time drain if you spend too much time on it. Take control of your time and limit the amount of time you spend using Clubhouse. Don’t allow it to disrupt other things that you have planned in your life. You need to get an iPhone if you want to join Clubhouse. If you are using Android but still wish to join, purchase the oldest Apple iPhone you have with the latest IOS version and download the Clubhouse app. Many people are claiming that Clubhouse is just another social media phase. Why would you not want to get involved in all of the new opportunities for fast growth with no adverts, paid cost and massive organic reach. If you want to grow your business and build your personal brand without paying a lot of money on advertising. Then you should ensure that you are leveraging Clubhouse. If it flies, you were in right at the start and if it dies then at least you tried. BEST MOMENTS “Embrace the solutions” “Even if it isn’t, shouldn’t you give it a shot?” “It is so worth it, I really believe that.” [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. Ep 610Nolan Bushnell - Atari Founder & Mentor to Steve Jobs [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]

In today’s podcast Rob is joined by American businessman, electrical engineer and founder of Atari games Nolan Bushnell. Together they discuss how Nolan found success in video games, having Apple founder Steve Jobs as an employee and why ideas are rubbish until you work on them. KEY TAKEAWAYS Each time sales slow down on your product, bring out a new one. Slowly but surely you will become a real company receiving orders and gaining customers. As long as you can keep ahead of everybody creatively, you can become the power. The probability of you being a successful gamer in the E sports world is the equivalent to you getting signed up to the New York Yankees. If you make it you can make a lot of money but it is up in the 1% category. Inject practicality into your children wherever possible. To be in a relationship with an entrepreneur, you have to embrace chaos and unpredictability. Every once in a while you have to push all of your chips out on the table, some of those chips would usually be put away for house payments which is difficult. The risk profile for an entrepreneur is much higher than normal and much higher compared to a wife and a mother. Everybody has a good idea when they’re in the shower. What determines what you do when you get out of the shower? Can you make that idea your own by working on it? Ideas are basically rubbish, you do not own these ideas until you work on them. The more you work on your ideas, the more you own them. To be disruptive is to do things that have never been done before in a way that fundamentally changes outcomes forever more. Mathematically there are things called singularities which are things that wipe out the history whilst going forward. True disruption is a singularity. BEST MOMENTS “I instantaneously knew that if I screened with a coin slot in my arcade it would earn serious money.” “I always thought that video games were going to be massive and disruptive, and I felt that if we tried really really hard we could get a little piece of it.” “Games have to be easy to learn and hard to master.” “If it’s fun it can make money.” ABOUT THE GUEST Nolan Bushnell is an American businessman and electrical engineer. He established Atari, Inc. and the Chuck E. Cheese's Pizza Time Theatre chain. Nolan has been inducted into the Video Game Hall of Fame and the Consumer Electronics Association Hall of Fame received the BAFTA Fellowship and the Nations Restaurant News "Innovator of the Year" award, and was named one of Newsweek's "50 Men Who Changed America." Bushnell has started more than twenty companies and is one of the founding fathers of the video gameindustry. He is on the board of Anti-Aging Games. In 2012 he founded an educational software company called Brainrush, that is using video game technology in educational software. Nolan is credited with Bushnell's Law, an aphorism about games "easy to learn and difficult to master" being rewarding. Ep 6082020 is Dead: Bring THIS Into 2021! [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]

DESCRIPTION For many people, the year 2020 was a write-off. It is now time to leave last year behind, look forward and create an amazing 2021 for you and your business. Join Rob today as he details the ten things you can do that will help accelerate your 2021 success. Discover how to pivot and adapt your business, why moving online will increase your profit margin and how to take your business global. KEY TAKEAWAYS 2021 could paradoxically be the best business and entrepreneurial year of your life if you want it to be. To maximise success pivot, adapt and react very quickly to the market. Always be ready to pivot your business model, service and product to the ever-changing market. Go from offline, physical and retail to online. This will enable you to scale from local to national and eventually to a global level. Moving online will allow you to keep your costs and overheads down to stay lean and agile. In doing so your margin will increase significantly. Build your global audience. Set up assets such as a Facebook page or a Youtube channel which will break you into a global market. Once you have reached a global audience you can market your products and services. Make sure you have systems for global outreach. These are things such as registration pages, payment gateways or email marketing software. These systems should be translatable globally. American systems are more translatable globally than a local software. BEST MOMENTS “It is time to move forward and create an amazing 2021.” “Don’t get ready, be ready.” “The world has changed and everything is moving so much faster.” “You can become a millionaire much quicker.” [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. Ep 607COVID (& Lockdown) Survival For Business- Real Opportunities in 2021 [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]

WHAT IS CLUBHOUSE? FIND OUT HERE In today’s episode, Rob is joined by entrepreneur, strategist and host of ‘The Pandemic Podcast’ Dan Gregory. Together they discuss the most recent government announcement ‘Lockdown 3.0’ and the way that Covid is changing the way business works. Join them today and learn how you can help your business survive by pivoting, not allowing fear to overcome you and identifying problems and looking for solutions. KEY TAKEAWAYS There is so much fear amongst people during the pandemic. We need to think about the knock-on unemployment rates which could be huge. We also need to think about all of the companies that will go bust when they cannot afford to pay back the business loans they took. Whilst it was nice for the government to give tax holidays for companies, they still have to be paid back at some point. If you have ever thought about starting an online business, now is the time. How many more people are going to be online now? An e-commerce or information business will thrive in the current climate. There is a pandemic of fear which is something new to everyone. Only put information in your head that is factual. The mainstream media sells fear and it is hard to tell what is true and what is false nowadays. Manage the global fear by getting your information from factual sources and unfollow anything that is conjecture. Address the main problems that you currently have which could be anything from stock to cash flow. Once you have identified your problems, look for solutions. If you haven’t got the solutions in your existing model, create a new model or a new business. Covid won’t be here forever, so don’t make short term decisions. It is very easy to become disempowered right now but you need to snap out of it. Use these feelings to drive you forward. You have to be the change you want to see and despite everything that is going on right now you have a unique opportunity to create change in the world for the better. There are a lot of things that we may not be individually able to control but we can contribute to change when we come together. Entrepreneurship is not as scary as it first may seem. Right now there is more opportunity and more money in the world than ever before. If your mind is tuned into fear and panic you will no longer see the opportunity that is right in front of your face. BEST MOMENTS “Is the way that we are dealing with it proportional to the risk at hand?” “That will bring a new opportunity for property investors.” “We are all experiencing fear on a global level” “I think this is a grand opportunity.” “You could be standing on a mountain of value but you’re just not seeing it because you’re so deeply in fear.” ABOUT THE GUEST Dan Astin-Gregory is the founder of Elevate MEDIA and host of the Pandemic podcast. Ep 6069 Disruptive Predictions for 2021 for Entrepreneurs [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]

The year 2020 was something no one could have ever predicted and now a ‘new normal’ has been created, Rob shares his predictions for how 2021 will go. Rob discusses how businesses that create a connection amongst their customers are likely to thrive this year, how there will be a resurgence of live events and why the best way to prosper in 2021 is to solve your customers’ new problems, fast. KEY TAKEAWAYS Creating something meaningful leads to hope, truth and connection. By creating a connection you have created a great business model. What we have lost in Lockdowns is a tactile connection with other human beings. Any business that creates a connection and focuses on creating a community is likely to do well. There will be a resurgence of live events this year. Lockdowns have created frustration amongst the masses which has increased the desire for people to get out of their homes and do more. Once the doors are re-opened there will be a mass of people wanting to attend live events. The pandemic has created mass fear, you must inoculate yourself from this. If you allow other people's fear to impact and infiltrate you, you will freeze. The fear should spur you on to find solutions and create viable products and services that leverage these new pains and problems. When you solve them and turn those pains into solutions, you win as an entrepreneur. You have got an opportunity to scale dramatically on social media in 2021. More people are using social media meaning more engagement and opportunity. As you scale you naturally lose the personal touch, it is vital to try and keep your social media as personal as you can. Your customers have new problems, you need to find them, and you need to solve them fast. The faster you solve your customers’ new problems, the more you profit in 2021. The longer you take to solve these problems, the more you will struggle. BEST MOMENTS “Not just because of the convenience element but because humans could connect.” “There could be a mini-boom in live events.” “A black hole seems to pull everything in it, a star seems to shine everything out.” “You change the world, one person, at a time.” [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. Learn today how you can leverage the opportunities that coincide with the governments most recent announcement of Lockdown 3.0. Join Rob as he describes ten ways in which you as an entrepreneur can make the most of lockdown, including inoculating yourself from mass fear to taking advantage of social medias newest platform Clubhouse discover how to make this lockdown count. KEY TAKEAWAYS Inoculate yourself from the mass fear that could turn into anger. You cannot turn anywhere without having a conversation about the government, lockdown or pandemic. Whilst it is okay to read the news and get the facts and figures having numerous conversations every day about the pandemic can become draining and could cause you to become unproductive. Change the conversation. When people start talking to you about Covid-19 or lockdown, change the conversation. Talk about the new opportunity that comes with the new lockdown. Give people hope, leadership, vision and belief. Spin the conversation around for other peoples’ benefit as well as your own. Clubhouse is going viral. We all wait for the new social media platforms to go big and we all wish we had got into these platforms early. Clubhouse is great for increasing your followership, your brand and research. People in Clubhouse are talking about what is happening now and therefore it is a great opportunity to find out what the new problems, pains and solutions are. There are new problems in the world right now. The quicker you find them, the quicker you solve them and the more global they are means you will win big. An entrepreneur finds meaningful problems, creates meaningful solutions and scales it to as many people as possible on the planet. BEST MOMENTS “Energy is everything and right now there is a lot of black hole type of energy.” “Leverage online. There is going to be so many more people online.” “Marketing generates leads, leads create sales and with no sales, you have no business. Ep 6059 Brutal Lessons From 2020 (for Success in 2021) [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]

2020 was a brutal year but as business owners and as entrepreneurs there have been valuable lessons learned that you can take into 2021 to improve your business and scale your brand. Listen in and discover Rob’s 9 key takeaways from adapting your expectation vs reality, learning how to stay agile and scaleable and why it’s essential to always have a plan B. KEY TAKEAWAYS Expectation vs reality - Entrepreneurs could not have predicted the COVID-19 pandemic but as a result, many did not adjust their business model and expectations for the year. The quicker an entrepreneur can adapt, pivot and change their plans, the easier it is to thrive in tough times. The unexpected upside of a very difficult year - For every downside, a business may experience, there is an equal upside and as a result of the pandemic, many will have created new products and services, optimised their business and become more agile in their industry. Having no plan B - It’s always important to have a plan B and know what you would do if. Aim to disrupt yourself and your business by finding your weaknesses and opportunity growth areas by covering all of your bases if certain situations happen. Always have a plan B, C, D, E and F. Dealing with fear on a global scale - Do not let the fear of the pandemic seep into your business so that you end up making irrational decisions. Always be very careful of who you follow and the media that you watch, aim to be balanced, level-headed and deal in facts. Agility - You need to be able to think, decide and act fast when making business decisions. Always be in testing mode so that you can provide the best product or service and always be ready to move. Scalable products - Ask yourself if your product is scalable on a global level so that your business is sustainable. Low overhead models - Keep your overheads and long-term fixed costs low so that you can grow your business by the cashflow that you bring in and stay agile. BEST MOMENTS “The best way to be agile in business is to expect the unexpected and plan for what you cannot plan for” “Also aim to be a ‘glass half full’ type of person” “Ask yourself what if regulations changed? What if your competitors grew? What is the taxation laws change?” “Sit down and make a list covering all of the upsides of the business learned as a result of 2020” “The upsides learned in 2020 can be leveraged and scaled in 2021” “Follow people that inspire you and that can improve your business” [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. Ep 604How to Create a Wildly Compelling Offer/Pitch [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]

Do you have a new product or service that’s awaiting its launch? Join Rob and learn how you can create a wildly compelling offer which your customers can’t turn down. Discover the importance of creating a unique product, how your best salesman is your customers’ testimonials and how to create scarcity and urgency for your product. Rob also answers questions on how to successfully set goals, and how to handle criticism. KEY TAKEAWAYS If you get bored with your products and services, your market will too. The only limitation to this in your industry market is your creativity and innovation. If you see your results diminish you have got to get into a creative mindset and freshen things up. Your product, service and your launch must be unique and completely different from anything on the market. It must also be unique to anything you have done before. People don’t want to buy the same as everything else. If you have something that nobody else does, then you win the game. If you’re doing something your market and your customers have never seen before then you’re winning the game. Much to the dismay of good salespeople, you are not your best salesperson. Your best salespeople are your client’s case studies and testimonials. Any skeptical client is going to trust third party reviewers with no ulterior motive. The case studies you acquire must show results gained from using your product and service. You must also use case studies that are relatable to your ideal client. Sales are energy. You need to get people to have an emotional change to make a decision. We are all in a different emotional space when we have made a decision. Decision making is a movement and is new energy. If your customers believe they can utilise your offer whenever they like, they are never going to do it now. If there is no competition against other people or punishment for delaying it then they will not purchase your product. Different forms of scarcity could be advised that this is the ‘last one ever’ or ‘price increasing soon.’ When people set a goal, they set a fantasy. Nobody ever prepares for the negative effects that may happen on their journey to reaching their goals. By setting a goal with a one-sided fantasy, you are immediately setting yourself up to fail. Set out what could go wrong as well as what could go right. Whilst many critics do not have much balance in the way that they converse, they do provide useful feedback that you should listen to. Many people label all critics as haters. By calling your critics’ haters you have turned them against you. You are receiving critique, not hate. Embrace it, you learn more from them than you do from your fans. BEST MOMENTS “There are two things we need to look at when it comes to your compelling offer. One is the product itself and two is the marketing of the product itself.” “You cannot guarantee results. You can guarantee transformation.” “This is a transformation. What you ideally want is a significant transformation, but it has to be believable.” “People buy property for freedom and choice.” “You are naive if you think you can have all of the upsides and none of the downsides.” [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. Ep 603What is The Universal Definition of Success? [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]

Whilst every person may have their own unique definition of personal success, it is always beneficial to discuss a universal qualifier of what success really is. Join Rob today as he discusses the definition of success. Discover how creating value in areas most important to you can be defined as successful, how transient measures of success can send you on a never-ending quest for success and why for something to be deemed as a success it must be both selfish and selfless. KEY TAKEAWAYS It is wise to discuss a universal qualifier of success so that we can pursue more of the things that are important to us and make the biggest difference. As we go through life our qualifier of success becomes personal. These may be meeting satisfaction, getting results, financial or accolades. The problem with these quantifiers is that they are transient and often many of them are selfish. For something to be successful, it has to be selfless as well as selfish. Success is nothing to do with your accolades, money or rewards. Success needs to balance the selfish and selfless. If your definition includes material items such as money, cars or watches, then there is always going to be someone with more of those than you. Success is you creating value in your unique area. Being valuable in the area that is of greatest importance to you can be defined as being a success. If you compare yourself to someone else’s success, you cannot be a success. That is their life, not yours. That is their values and vision, not yours. The deeper sense of happiness and fulfilment is directly linked to how many people you help and how much you help them. The great thing about having a global vision is you are always helping more people, therefore you are always able to add to your sense of satisfaction and value. Entrepreneurs can go through stages where their success is defined by how much money they have, how many material items they own and how large their business is. You will eventually realise that there is no end to that. Therefore that chase can make you feel unworthy or empty. BEST MOMENTS “If your goal for success is happiness, that is selfish.” “Something that is absolutely not the definition of success, is comparing yourself to others.” “The only thing on the planet that you are the best at, is being you.” “Do you go back and hat tip to yourself? Ep 602RANT! How To Handle Failure & Rejection Like A Boss [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]

Fear and rejection are something we all have to face in life and sometimes it is not easy to accept. In today’s podcast, Rob details how to handle failure and rejection effectively. Discover why facing your fears can allow you to grow as an entrepreneur, the importance of having a balanced outlook on life and how to contextualize your emotions. KEY TAKEAWAYS You have to face rejection, embarrassment and shame. As an entrepreneur you have to face your demons regularly otherwise you are not pushing yourself enough and you are not growing enough. There are certain parts of you where you will recurrently feel fear and rejection as this goes back to your conditioning. It is easy to beat yourselves up about the things that are going wrong instead of the things that are going well. It is also common to have a downside view of things rather than a balanced or upside view. You would not want to get rid of fear. Fear is your internal warning system and a reaction to your environment to stay safe. Fear is real and you need it. We need emotions, it is more about feeling and contextualising the emotions and reacting accordingly. Contextualise what is real and what is imagined. Contextualise what is a ‘first world fear’ and what is real and threatening to you. Failure and mistakes keep you humble. Therefore it all serves a purpose if none of these emotions existed then we would all become complacent and arrogant. Nobody is a failure. Everybody is perfect at being themselves. You can fail at things or be rejected on occasion but that does not make you a failure or a reject. Usually, people aren’t rejecting you; they are rejecting whatever you are offering, selling or promoting. It is not personal, if you do feel rejection it is probably more about your past rejection than your present or future rejection. BEST MOMENTS “You can grow through it and learn from it.” “All emotions are necessary.” “Why can’t we disagree more and still not judge the person?” [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. Ep 601‘Common Sense’ Business Advice That's BAD: MYTHS Busted [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]

Discover today the 'common advice' that is (usually) bad. Join Rob as he goes through thirty of the most frequent pieces of advice that you should not take. Rob discusses why it is not possible to eliminate your fears, why you should always have a plan B and why ‘going with your gut’ can mislead you into filtering out important information. KEY TAKEAWAYS A common piece of bad advice is that you can ‘eliminate’ fear. It is not possible to have no fear, fear is a necessary emotion for survival and if you did not have it you would be dead. Stop being delusional about thinking you can eliminate fear and contextualise it instead. Feel the fear and do it anyway. Another piece of bad advice that is common is people telling you not to have a plan B. If you didn’t have a plan B this year for your business, then you were most likely in danger. Whilst you should not spend all your time planning for the worst, it is smart to have a plan B, C, D etc. Whilst it is important to not lose focus on your plan A, you should still spend some time on your back up plans. People often say that they should be continually setting goals. Whilst setting yourself goals is wise, be realistic that you are likely to face some challenges on the way. The opposite of goal setting is fear setting, what could go wrong? When you set goals, don’t be delusional that you will get all of the upside and none of the downside. “Keep your opinions to yourself” is a common piece of bad advice. We all have equal rights to our opinions. As long as you are not calling these opinions facts, then you have just a right as anybody else. Just because somebody gives their opinion louder, doesn’t mean it is right. Whilst some opinions can just be ‘noise’ other opinions can be insightful. Often people will tell you that you should ‘always go with your gut’. Humans are very good at reading each other. If there is something that feels fishy in a trusting or vulnerable setting, you should trust your instinct. However, human beings are very susceptible to cognitive bias, a lot of the time we cannot trust this bias or the ego that protects and defends us. Our intuition and gut can be very misleading and can filter important information. BEST MOMENTS “You should give up on old beliefs that are out of date” “For being a disruptive and contrarian entrepreneur much of this advice is wrong.” “It is very common for big thinkers and excitable entrepreneurs to set big goals.” “It is always changing and evolving.” [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. Ep 600Emergency Lockdown 3.0: Survive & Thrive Strategies [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]

With the recent announcement of the UK’s third lockdown and tier system, it is understandable that many businesses will be worried about what their future holds. Join Rob today as he shares his ten lockdown survival strategies and discusses how you can survive and thrive throughout it. Discover the importance of having multiple income streams, how to create a modern business model with low overheads and why you should look at the new opportunities this lockdown could bring. Key Takeaways It is vital to have multiple income streams. If one of your income streams slows down or goes into negative, then you have another income stream as a backup. If you only have one income source, the lockdown has proven how easily that can be taken away from you. It is important to have one income stream that is unrelated from your main or other income sources. Many modern business models have low overheads. You may only need a phone, laptop and an internet connection to make money. Industries such as e-commerce, information or personal branding have no extra overheads, all you need is you. If you want to be lean and agile you need a business model with no fixed costs, only variable costs. Human beings are infinitely resourceful. If you put a human being in a situation where it is life or death their survival instincts kick in. Resourcefulness, innovation and your ability to think outside the box are all so valuable. These qualities supersede the need for money or investment. Objectivity is one of the most important skills for an entrepreneur to have if they want to have longevity. Objectivity is immunising yourself from extremes. Social media loves extremes. In reality, you cannot separate things so harshly, there is the downside in all upside and upside in all downside. Look at both the upside and the downside of the lockdown and the recession that is coming. New solutions for new problems. Right now the world has many new problems. The lockdown is going to create new problems and these will all need solving. Solving these problems makes way for new products and business opportunities. Some people have said that a social media follower is worth £1 per person per year to you. You could make this into £10 per follower if you work hard enough. Your followers become your assets therefore the more followers you have the more assets you gain. If you don’t have any followers or subscribers then you don’t have any customers. If your business model changes, you still have your followers as they are interested in you and your journey. Best Moments “We can use that energy and emotion toward production, solving problems and creation.” “Have a highly pivotable business.” “We have this amazing ability to survive, hustle and be resourceful” “If you don’t have any followers or subscribers then you don’t have any customers” [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. Ep 599Mark Victor Hansen: World Famous Author Who Sold 500MILLION Books (Yes, 500m) [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]

Today Rob is joined by the inspiring motivational speaker, trainer and best-selling author Mark Victor Hansen. Famous for co-creating ‘Chicken Soup For The Soul’ which has over 250 titles and have sold more than 500 million copies worldwide, Mark explains why he believes reading is a fundamental freedom of all freedoms. Rob and Mark also discuss why to achieve your destiny you need to be able to ask, how there is greatness and super talent in everybody and what it means to be disruptive. KEY TAKEAWAYS Reading is a fundamental freedom of freedoms. Once you know how to read, you can set some great goals. Wouldn’t it be nice if everybody in the world could read, learn and earn? There is a triangle to achieving goals which go: Learn, Earn and then Return. Every disruptive person has got to understand that there is always a bridge, there is always a detour or a stop sign that you need to over, under, around or through to get to the other side in order to achieve what you want to achieve. To achieve your destiny, you need to be able to ask. There are three parts to it, ask yourself, ask others and as God. Everybody out there who is unemployed or unhappily employed needs to know that there are questions to ask God. Ask God 400 times before you go to sleep ‘What is your destiny for me?” We’re born over-endowed with 18 billion brain cells, they cannot come to work until you cut deep and question what your destiny is. We need to find greatness in everybody. There is super talent in every single person. We are all unique. We all have our different hierarchy of values therefore there are no two people on the planet that are the same, meaning there is nobody like us. Sometimes we just need people to believe in us when we don’t know that ourselves. Worry is stewing without need to. It is a one-way elevator going down and it will make you involute rather than evolute. People are put on this earth to create and contribute and those people who feel depressed are not creating or contributing. You have to express rather than depress and to express, you have to contribute and create. To be disruptive means that you cannot keep doing something the way it is already being done. When Steve Jobs went to Kodak and saw that they had not patented digital photography in one year, he took it and put it in a cell phone. Inside every company there is the greatness, you have to ask what is working and what you can change. BEST MOMENTS “People love my stories, and I’ve got stories to tell” “The only way to get to your destiny is by asking.” “There’s more than enough for everyone’s needs, but not everyone’s greed” ABOUT THE GUEST Mark Victor Hansen is probably best known as the co-author for the Chicken Soup for the Soul book series and brand, setting world records in book sales, with over 500 million books sold. Mark also worked his way into a worldwide spotlight as a sought-after keynote speaker, and entrepreneurial marketing maven, creating a stream of successful people who have created massive success for themselves through Mark’s unique teachings and wisdom. With his endearing charismatic style, Mark captures his audience’s attention as well as their hearts. Having spoken to over 6000 audiences world-wide with his one-of-a-kind technique and masterful authority of his work, time and again he continues to receive high accolades from his audiences as one of the most dynamic and compelling speakers and leaders of our time. His credentials include a lifetime of entrepreneurial success, alternative energy pursuits, in addition to an extensive academic background. Ep 598How to Actually Get People to do What You Ask [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]

Learn today how to get people to do what you want them to do. Join Rob today as he discusses the dos and don’ts of managing staff and working alongside people to achieve your end goal. He discusses the importance of keeping your cool, why you should only ever see people as your equal and why you are always a server, never a leader. KEY TAKEAWAYS The first step of getting people to do what you want them to do is to not get annoyed. Annoyance and frustration can often lead to anger. If the anger leaks out onto the person you are trying to get the job done, then they won’t end up getting it done. They may feel berated, angry and disrespected. Nobody can ever live up to your expectations. Your expectations are based on your morals, values and ethics. People will always leave you disappointed if you expect them to live up to your expectations. People are only loyal to their values. As soon as you don’t serve their needs they will be gone. You need to ensure that the values of your staff and the people you are trying to influence are getting met. If their needs are getting met, then your needs through them will get met too. Trust your staff but verify the main details of the metrics you need to run your business. If you trust people too much and don’t do any checks, things may happen that you did not intend to. When you own the business you are responsible for everything, even the things that you’re staff, suppliers and clients do. Their actions represent you and your brand. Full abdication of all responsibility is not an option. In the world that we live in, there is a hierarchical structure. In reality, we are all equal, no one person is better than another. Seeing life in vertical relationships (e.g having subordinates) means you only ever look up or look down to people. You either overly pedestalize people or overly subordinate people. If you subordinate staff members, they will sense that and will no longer wish to work for you. Your job is a server, not a leader. You serve your staff members, you work for them. If you do a good job for them, you will gain loyal employees. As one person, you only have 4-7 hours of productive work in you each day. However, if you have 100 staff members and they each put in 5 hours of good work each day, that equals 500 productive hours every day. If you serve your team they will then do good work as a result. BEST MOMENTS “Never think people are loyal to you, they are not. People are loyal to their own values only.” “You don’t just manage down, you manage up.” “You get the rewards, the recognition, the money the freedom.” “We’re all equal, we just have different jobs.” [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. Ep 597RANT: The World ALWAYS Proves You Right (Warning) [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]

Discover today how the world will always prove you right. In today’s episode, Rob discusses how the world is one big mirror and how you will get out of life exactly what you put into it. Learn how if you wait long enough, you will eventually see the returns on your actions and why filtering your life can change your outcome. KEY TAKEAWAYS The world and/or people will always give back to you, what you give to it/them. You could say that the world is a mirror and it reflects exactly what you show it. If you give a lot you will receive a lot, if you take a lot you will receive nothing. Life isn’t fair, life will not give you what you deserve. Life will give you what you give it. If you ever find yourself feeling down, and you’re putting a low frequency of energy out there then that is what you are going to receive back. It can almost become addictive to hold onto anger, jealousy and rage, they are human emotions. If you project a low frequency of energy into the world, then that is what you will attract back. If you omit high energy, then you will attract that back. There is no instant return in life. If you wait long enough and are patient enough to see the returns on your actions and behaviours, you will get the proof and will begin to practice this more. Most people are not patient enough to wait for the return. Filter the people that you hang around with, the news that you watch and the social media you consume. You see what you want to see, the world is a reflective mirror back at you. What you want to be true, believe to be true and are looking to be true is true. If you want a new truth, you need to change what you are showing the mirror. BEST MOMENTS. “If you put out a lot of criticism you will receive a lot of criticism.” “It’s addictive, isn’t it? To be a bit negative” “You’re getting the return you’re just not seeing it.” “Filter what you see in the world.” SHOUTOUTS John Paul Riley. Podcast- Why I Do It. Ep 596How to Seize The Day & Think Outside The Box [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]

One of the world's most influential and impactful motivational speakers, Peter Cohen, joins Rob today to discuss all things disruptive. Together they consider the importance of mentors, why many entrepreneurs are addicted to growth and how to seize new opportunities. KEY TAKEAWAYS Disruption is forcing the hand of change. If you don’t disrupt yourself, someone else will, whether that be an unexpected pandemic or reacting to political movements. Human beings are the only beings that have the ability to stunt their own growth. Many entrepreneurs are addicted to growth. They have a necessity and a desire to go and create a difference. Where you want to go, you have never been. If you go alone you are walking in the dark, in the dark you feel lonely and you get lost. If you walk a route that is dark for you, with somebody that has been down that route many times before then you are not lost, and you are not lonely. Standing on the shoulders of giants is vital for success. An entrepreneur is somebody who takes a risk in the hope of profit. They often take risks without the security of a regular paycheck in the pursuit of making a difference and making a profit. Entrepreneurs solve problems, create an economy, are prepared to take risks and have the courage to go where others have not been before. Many entrepreneurs also want freedom and autonomy. Extreme pleasure usually leads to pain. It is important to have a passion for your niche and business, but it is also important to have a commercial eye, a desire to serve and a desire to solve and fix people's problems. As an entrepreneur, things break all the time and you have to be able to fix them. To be disruptive can also mean to observe the masses and do the opposite. It can also mean to be greedy when others are fearful, and be fearful when others are greedy. It can be to think differently. When it is easy, it is easy for everyone and you don’t get a chance to stand out and shine, and getting an epiphany of new ventures can give you new energy. BEST MOMENTS “Disruption is forcing the hand of change.” “How much of how you are today is because of the challenges you faced growing up?” “You are not lost, and you are not lonely.” “The best is yet to come.” “The more you give, the more you get.” About The Guest Pete Cohen is one of the world’s most impactful motivational speakers. From a young age, Pete Cohen wanted to be an actor. It was on stage that he felt most alive and felt connected to his purpose. To him, there was magic in the ability to unlock emotions in his audience: to make them laugh and cry and to change the way that they looked at life. Even at this early age, he knew he had been put on Earth to be on stage. However, as a severe, undiagnosed dyslexic, the young Pete couldn’t learn lines very well and struggled to get parts in school productions. On one occasion, he was fired partway through the rehearsals because he didn’t know his lines. He left school without qualifications and with no real direction – but still a passion to perform. He loved to exercise and, one day, noticed someone leading an aerobics class at his local gym. To him, this was an opportunity to do what he loved – to get up in front of people and make them feel good: only through exercise rather than drama. He took a course in sports science and then became a personal trainer. As he noticed the pattern of people joining a gym, coming for a while and then giving up, his natural curiosity led him to study psychology. In one of his gym classes, he started to talk about beliefs and how they affected performance. These conversations about mindset started to create results for his classes and, on one occasion, one of his participants asked him to speak at their organisation. This was the start of a lifelong career as a keynote speaker, sports psychologist and coach, inspiring people to be better than their best in sport, in business and in life. https://petecohen.com/about-pete/ [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. Ep 59514 Ways to Dramatically Increase Productivity (You & Your Team) [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]

Looking for ways to improve your and your team’s productivity? Discover the 14 ways to do so by listening in to today’s episode as Rob talks you through his techniques on maximising productivity levels from everyone. Learn how to identify your key result areas and why these are vital to the growth and delivery of your role, why giving projects to people rather than tasks can increase their productivity levels and why offering rewards to your team can help maximize their output. KEY TAKEAWAYS Know what your main key result areas are. A key result area is an area which is vital to the growth and delivery of your role. You should have between 3 and 7 key result areas. They are non-negotiable deliverables that ensure that you either fulfil or grow your role. You should know your key result areas as well as knowing your staff members. Each team member needs an MSOP ( minimum standard of performance) which is linked to their key result areas, job description and income-generating tasks. They are the metrics that they have to do in order to keep their job, they are a minimum standard of performance. If people are unable to reach these goals, then they will their performance managed and could potentially be let go. Give projects to people, not just tasks. Nobody wants to feel like they are just there for a menial role. We are all equal but do different things. If you give people projects to own they will really put their heart and soul into it. People are likely to step up and enjoy their role more if they have something to call their own than if you constantly give them menial and repetitive tasks to complete. Have KPI’s (Key performance indicators) in place for team members. KPI’s are metrics and the feedback that you are growing or decaying in the right or wrong direction. You cannot master what you do not measure. Progression, recognition and autonomy are proven to be three of the most important areas in hiring people. Reward your staff either financially or through benefit schemes. Essentially, human beings do like rewards and if there are no rewards in place for the jobs that we do then we are only really being managed. Remove bottlenecks and ensure that your team have everything in place to complete their job. Are there software and systems that are broken and don’t work? Do they have to do too much manual processing? Do they have to manage too many people? Make sure all the friction is eliminated in your team. The less friction in your team, the more productive and efficient they will be. BEST MOMENTS “Key result areas give you this overriding guidance and focus.” “You have got to make sure you do what you can to enjoy your job.” “If they hit the ceiling of their career progression and they stay there for one, two or three years then they are likely to look for another job as they can’t progress. Progression is a human need. Ep 594RANT! 5 MASSIVE Business Myths (Breaking my Silence) [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]

Have you ever been told that to be successful in business you must at first ‘get on the tools yourself?’ Today Rob discusses why this advice can be harmful to those entrepreneurs with a big vision. Learn today why leveraging and outsourcing tasks to others can help your business grown, how hiring a project manager to complete jobs you cannot allow you to focus on income-generating tasks and why ‘getting on the tools’ can only allow you to focus on one job at a time. KEY TAKEAWAYS Some people believe that to develop a project and be successful in your business then you need to get on the tools yourself. By this logic, you would not be able to outsource tasks unless you were fully trained in them already. This could potentially be harmful to any investment opportunities. Often as an entrepreneur, you will believe that nobody can do the job better than you can and you will feel the need to have full control over everything in your business. However, full control often means you cannot grow, focus on your vision and building a team around you. Learn to work smart not hard. A common problem many entrepreneurs face is that they get addicted to business. They see business and hard work as a badge of honour. You need to focus on your key result areas and income-generating tasks. Pick the tasks that are the most important and prioritise them first. Value your time and maximise the return on time invested. You need to learn to take a step back from your business and have a helicopter view of your company. Instead of doing everything yourself, hire a project manager. If you get on the ‘tools’ yourself, you can only do one task at a time. You don’t need to have done the ‘tools’ yourself to have them as part of your business strategy. Leveraging tasks out will allow your business to grow much quicker. There will be people who are specialised in their respective areas who can complete tasks better than you. Ep 593Steve Lansdown: Bedroom Investor to Billionaire Boardroom | Hargreaves Lansdown Founder [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]

Listen in to the story you’ve never heard about the UK’s leading investment platform managing the savings and investments of over 1.3 million clients as Rob interviews billionaire founder, entrepreneur and investor of FTSE 100 company Hargreaves Lansdown, Steven Lansdown. Together they discuss what it takes to build a business, the secret to longevity and the mindset you need to be an entrepreneur. KEY TAKEAWAYS Hargreaves Lansdown is the UK's leading savings and investment platform. Founded in 1981 by Peter Hargreaves and Stephen Lansdown, the platform now has over 1.3 million clients investing over £96 billion of their savings. Hargreaves Lansdown was started in a front bedroom and aimed to grow big but also be the best in their market and the founders didn’t take anything out of the business for 10+ years to enable its growth. All profits were rolled back into the company to help optimise it’s systems and scale the business. When an entrepreneur is building a business it’s growth is ultimately up to you, it’s a 24-hour a day, 7 days a week job that comes with a lot of pressure but if you focus in the right direction and look at your competitors in your marketplace and aim to do better than them you can be successful. As a start-up, you can be quicker to market than your competitors and as an entrepreneur you skill is building a business. The secret to longevity in business is to be ambitious with your vision, believe in your business model, to do the right thing by your clients in the long term and not to be too greedy too soon. You have to be patient with your business, reinvest your profits, enjoy what you do and not have the mindset that you’re trying to make a ‘quick buck’. As an entrepreneur, you don’t need to take big risks, just calculated ones. You need to know why you’re doing what you’re doing and commit to your decisions 100%. Work hard and be consistent with your business, don’t try to do too many things at once. BEST MOMENTS “We wanted to be bigger but we wanted to be the best”“The 1987 stock market scratch was a heartache but you learn from experiences and you learn to see them as opportunities” “We also did right by our clients, kept our feet on the ground and grew the business in the right way” “In any business, you’ve got three ways out, you can go onto the stock market, sell the company to a competitor or sell it to management” “Hargreaves Lansdown was always cash-rich so it was a great opportunity to invest in sports clubs” “Hargreaves Lansdown has educated an awful lot of people on money management and investing” [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. Ep 592Reinvention: Interview with Gerald Ratner [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]

Have you ever made a mistake in business or in life and wondered how you will ever overcome it? Well, listen in to today's episode as Rob is joined by Gerald Ratner, former CEO of one of the most previously successful jewellery companies in the UK whose infamous speech ruined both his and his company's reputation. Together they discuss how to overcome mistakes, why facing your demons is sometimes easier than avoiding them and why you must learn that you cannot please everybody. New Book Launch - 3rd December 2020‘Reinvent Yourself’ With Gerald Ratner KEY TAKEAWAYS Good and bad, nobody can believe what sometimes happens in business, and in life. Previous mistakes you have made in both your personal and professional life have made you what you are today, and you are probably a happier person because of it. If you’re having to reinvent yourself because your business has dissolved or you have lost your job, you can’t afford to lose a lot of money again. Avoid taking risks that you cannot afford to make. You sometimes need somebody to push you in the right direction. This can help you realise that facing your demons is a lot easier than avoiding them. You cannot keep avoiding things that you don't want to do. You have got to find the guts to go out there and confront your issues. When you do this, they are not as difficult to face as you may think they are. There is nothing worse than being a failure and there is nothing better than being successful. We are put on this earth to work, challenge things and to compete against others. In business, you get the best brains. Successful business people do not spend their time trying to convince people they are brilliant, they just get on with things. Try to get into a business that is unfashionable. You cannot please everybody, everybody has got different needs. Don’t try to be loved by everybody and try to persuade them that you are doing the right thing, if you believe something just get on and do it. If you start trying to get permission and opinions of others you will not get the right advice. BEST MOMENTS “I appreciate things now, after losing everything.” “It was a wonderful feeling when I actually got out there. Although I didn't want to, I was forced out there. “Get up, dust yourself off and start all over again.” ABOUT THE GUEST Gerald Ratner is a British businessman and motivational speaker. He was formerly a chief executive officer of the major British jewellery company Ratners Group. He achieved notoriety after making a speech in which he jokingly denigrated two of the company's products. He currently speaks around the world at corporate and promotional events. Ep 591Rant: My 1st 'Political' Episode (Relevant to Business) [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]

Most of the problems in today’s society come from the inability to agree to disagree. Why do we have to hate on those that we disagree with? Rob shares his first politically driven RANT on why we disagree online, in politics, within our business and how with a shift in mindset you can embrace those that you disagree with, improve your critical and rational thinking and why when you can master this you’ll find wisdom, growth, progress and success and you will be able to scale your enterprise and your vision. New Book Launch - 3rd December 2020‘Reinvent Yourself’ With Gerald Ratner KEY TAKEAWAYS You do not have to agree to get on with people. Most of the problems in today’s society come from the inability to agree to disagree. There are far too many people in the business and political landscape who are hating, criticising and arguing with people who they disagree with but it is through disagreement and embrace others opinion and view that you will get wisdom, growth, progress, success and you will be able to scale your enterprise and your vision Your ego wants everyone to agree with you but in reality, growth, progress and wisdom come from an equal balance of support and challenge from those that agree and disagree with us. As a business owner you have to be critical and rational and If you cannot accept disagreements and agree with those that you do not agree with it shows immaturity and lack of critical and rational thinking which as an entrepreneur you need as it is those forms of thinking that will keep you and your ideas balanced. If we could embrace each other’s ideas more we would be less extreme and less polarised and as a result, we would not as easily accept how the media feeds us fake news and what we have accepted as news. BEST MOMENTS “If we’re on the left why do we have to hate the right?” “If we’re a fan of socialism why do we have to hate capitalism?” “The beauty in life is the variety of life.” “You can learn from everyone, both the corporate world as well as the entrepreneurial space” “Most of the problems in today’s society come from the inability to agree to disagree.” [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. Ep 590What Being Disruptive is REALLY About [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]

What does it mean to be Disruptive? In today’s special episode, Rob brings together millionaires, billionaires and some of the world’s most disruptive and controversial people to share with you what disruptive means to them. Discover the true meaning of what it is to be disruptive, why you must force change in your marketplace, have confidence in your conviction and always, always think outside the box in this exciting episode of the Disruptive Entrepreneur. New Book Launch - 3rd December 2020‘Reinvent Yourself’ With Gerald Ratner KEY TAKEAWAYS Don’t become your biggest bully. By allowing disturbances to get in your head, bad things happen to you and it's over for you. Asa result, all you’ll have in your mind is negative self-talk and you will not be disruptive. The best way to disrupt is to disrupt yourself before someone else disrupts you. There are a lot of things that you can control in business and once you realise you’re behind the power curve you can push your business forward. As an entrepreneur, you need to disrupt your industry and your marketplace to force change. Once you disrupt you will see the state of your niche going into a state of flux before seeing the reform. Have confidence in your conviction. We have to be conscious of the miracle of ourselves and letting the inner you out and expressing that out into the world. If you’re able to pursue something that matters to you, something that you can express, that is when you will disrupt. Disrupting is about thinking outside the box and what's not the norm. It’s about being different, not accepting the way it's always been done and not assuming that because the experts or your competitions do things a certain way that that’s the right way it should be done. In your business, always leave open the possibility that there might be a better way to do a certain task or optimise a certain system. Never let anyone tell you not to try something because that may be the thing that evolves your business. BEST MOMENTS “Once you leave your house, the world then gets at you.”“If you're guilty about making money, then maybe you should think harder about what you're going to do with the money.”“If something solidifies, it doesn't change.”“Unless you disturb, what needs changing won't change.”“Disruption is about believing that you might be the person redesigning an industry.”“Disruption without moderation can be harmful.”“Be a shepherd, not a sheep.”“Not being satisfied with going along with everything.”“Disruptive means someone who challenges conventional thinking.”“Whenever you hit the goal you’ve set yourself, aim much higher and always be striving to achieve more in your business.” [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. Ep 589How to Dramatically Increase Productivity (You & Your Staff) [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]

Do you want to dramatically increase the productivity of your team, be it your staff, your outsourcers or even your admin staff? In this episode, Rob shares with you 14 tried and tested ways to increase productivity, improve morale, earn more money and how you can dramatically scale your business when you and your staff are productive. KEY TAKEAWAYS Have a clear job description. This should include the vision and values of the company at the top, the main outcome of their role to the top line, the key result areas, the income-generating tasks and other roles and responsibilities. Know your key result areas. This is an area of focus that is vital to the growth or at least the delivery of your role. Depending on your role it can be income-generating or income-generating or simply strategic, tactical or administrative. Roles, responsibilities and MSOPs. Each team member needs a minimum standard of performance, which is linked to the key result areas, job description, and income-generating tasks. These are key metrics that your team have to do just to keep their job. Culture, environment and atmosphere. Are they conducive to productivity, energy, enthusiasm, passion, drive, commitment, loyalty, getting things done, hitting targets and deadlines and continual and never-ending improvement? Projects, not tasks. Give projects to people, not just tasks. No one wants to feel like they're your admin guy even if their job is admin. Make them feel just as important as leaders by giving them some projects. Try not to have any ceiling on progression and earning capacity. If your staff hit career ceilings they're probably going to look for another job because they can't progress. After all, progression is a human need. The balance of autonomy and management. No one likes to be micromanaged except very hardcore, process-driven thinkers who just want to be told what to do. Most people like a bit of autonomy, freedom, leadership, responsibility and ownership, but they still need guidance management, not over management. Rewards, progression and recognition. The three things that people need in a career that probably are more important than money and might equate to you not having to pay as much salary pound for pound are PRA, progression, recognition and autonomy. BEST MOMENTS “Don't just do a job description for your team, but do it for yourself too.”“What key result areas do is, they give you an overriding guidance and focus.”“No two tasks have the same amount of value to you.”“Where there's clarity, there's no confusion.”“We all have a role to play.”“We all equal but do different things.”“If you want to be successful, hire smart people, give them slightly too much to do and get out of their way.”“People learn the best when they get the lessons themselves.”“Leadership is creating a vision and inspiring people to move towards that vision, and then allowing them to fulfil their role towards that vision.” [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. Ep 585RANT! Freedom of Speech- I've kept Quiet Until Now [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]

In this episode of The Disruptive Entrepreneur, Rob tackles the debate surrounding freedom of speech, a topic he’s kept quiet about for over 15 years! Should we fight for our right to speak and say what we want regardless of the consequences? Or should we be held more accountable for defamation, bullying and criticism? Join the discussion as Rob weighs in on the effects of social media, how you can harm your business and your brand by sharing your opinion and the mindset you need to evolve in a world filled with critics, haters and trolls. KEY TAKEAWAYS Freedom of speech is having the right and the freedom to express. The freedom to hold opinions and to receive and impart information and ideas without interference and regardless of frontiers. We’re banning people on social media platforms just because we don’t agree with their opinions and their concepts. It’s every individual’s right to share their opinion in any way they wish but is it too easy for business owners to harm their brand, their business and their reputation by sharing their views on social media. If we limit freedom of speech are main rights are being taken away from us but at what point should there be accountability? Should we be allowed to bully, defame and troll others on social media without any consequences? The world would be a better place if we could disagree with people without judging them and have differing opinions without one being right and one being wrong. It’s important to surround yourself with people that challenge you and open your mind up to new ideas and new ways of thinking. This will help you to evolve. BEST MOMENTS “Social media is for discussion and should not be used for bullying and trolling.” “Could you argue that social media cannot sensor your opinion and your posts? Is your freedom of speech being affected when people are banned from social media platforms” “Never wrestle with a pig in shit. You both get covered in shit but the pig likes it” “Should we really have freedom of speech? Is it our constitutional right? You need to find a balance, be passionate about what you do and always ask for help. Women have been programmed to believe that men have it better but they don’t.
