Ep 676RANT - The Hippy BS of 'It's All About The Journey Not The Destination' [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]
There’s a lot of extreme nonsense around this saying and in this episode Rob want’s to tell you why it’s wrong and can actually have a detrimental impact on your path to success! KEY TAKEAWAYS Many of us will has wrestled with this concept. It can be a ---- as you are trying to strive towards a goal whilst equally telling yourself you are already enough. Exercise is a great example to counter this saying. Most people don’t exercise or diet to ‘enjoy the journey’ they do it for the end result! Anyone who gives you advice in the extremes shouldn’t be taken too seriously. This advice is just one sided, you won’t work and drive to achieve more if you are told that it isn’t reaching these goals that make you happy. To be truly happy you need to progress, to achieve more, to contribute to the world and value your own self-worth. BEST MOMENTS “You’ve probably wrestled with this in your life” “I don’t do work outs to enjoy the journey” “Happiness is progress towards a worthy goal” [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. Ep 675Ronnie O'Sullivan: The Greatest Snooker Champion of All Time [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]
In this episode Rob speaks to the greatest snooker champion of all time, Ronnie O’Sullivan. They have an in depth, authentic and honest discussion around Ronnie’s life; his career, his lows and his many highs too. Join Rob’s supporter programme for just £5/$5 a month by going to www.rob.team KEY TAKEAWAYS Ronnie is known for disrupting the snooker world in his own unique and dynamic ways but he is interested in a lot more things than snooker! He is an author, keen runner and so much more. Ronnie really loves being in the world of running. He noticed early on that many of the people who are into running are laid back, social and not materialistic. You leave the rest of your world, career, money etc at the door. None of that matters in the community of running. It’s a great escape for him to be in that world. Health and fitness was never something Ronnie focused on when he was younger. But he has spent the last few years on himself physically and is the healthiest he has ever been. He treats this ‘hobby’ as one of his addictions; he knows he has an addictive personality so has channeled it into something good. Ronnie is very humble and says there are many snooker players out there at least as good as him if not better, but he feels like snooker fans are drawn to him because of the way he plays. They want to watch him. There have been plenty of struggles in Ronnie’s life and career. By his mid-twenties he had suffered with bouts of anxiety, depression and addiction. But learning about these things and their impact on himself and the world around him helped him reframe his life and learn to live it alongside his demons. Self-sabotage can take many forms. Most people do not even recognise the behaviours they are doing to sabotage themselves. Once Ronnie was told of his self-sabotaging behaviours he began to work on them and it made a dramatic difference to his career as well as his own self-worth. The world championships in 2012 is Ronnie’s career high. He was 35 and didn’t have a lot of motivation or self-belief but he then met Steve Peters who helped him reignite his passion for snooker and he went on to win. It’s essential to have the right people around you in sport. Having a good mentor, manager, partner and role models is so important for your mental and physical wellbeing as a sportsperson as well as putting you on the right path in your career. In some ways surprising until you hear about Ronnie’s story, he would not recommend a career in snooker to anyone. He says it is a bad game, it’s can cause you a lot of damage, it is a waste of a life for almost everyone. BEST MOMENTS “I’m never going to get rid of that addictive nature I like to think it’s a good driving force in my life so as long as I channel it into the right direction…You can do pretty good things” “What I am good at is getting that white ball from A to B and making the game easy” “I’m not good with rules” “A lot of stuff you do off the table benefits you on the table” “I love a breakdown as it spurs me to fight back” “Sometimes I don’t feel like being creative, I’m not a machine” "I always played for the love of the sport" [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. Conversation With Robs Successful Clients: Michael Kalisperas [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]
bonus“It’s a great thing to give people exposure who are doing amazing thing but aren’t necessarily globally famous”. Today Rob speaks to both client and friend, Michael Kalisperas. Michael has an incredibly inspiring, powerful and motivating journey which he uses as a driving force in everything he does including his businesses. He shares his story, strength and success in this episode. KEY TAKEAWAYS A serial entrepreneur, Michael’s career background was originally in marketing and graphics, he had a passion for many different elements of this and did an electronic and multimedia programme and was later headhunted by Sky and the BBC. He left the BBC in his mid-20s and this is when he started his first business. Michael has written a screenplay, been on stages himself as a speaker, ran events, is an affiliate marketer and has achieved great success in many different areas. Despite this, he still says his biggest win is seeing his son survive everything he has been through so far. In 2002 Michael and his wife gave birth to a healthy baby boy. As far as they knew and could see he was perfectly healthy. Tragically due to mistakes by health care providers his son was left severely disabled from cerebral palsy. He and his wife ended up suffering from depression and PTSD due to what they went through. It was a huge shock. Michael has turned this incredibly difficult set of circumstances and adversity into a driving force behind everything he does. Seeing his son so unwell and being unable to do anything about it has meant he seizes any opportunity and situation where he can have influence and impact. He creatively uses his knowledge, strength and entrepreneurship to empower and positively create things. You can be the most positive, giving person on the planet but you need to ensure you have the energy for yourself and your family too. You can’t pour from an empty cup. BEST MOMENTS “It’s a great thing to give people exposure who are doing amazing thing but aren’t necessarily globally famous things” “My biggest win is seeing my son survive what he went through” “If there’s an emotional connection there, I’ll connect to it” “I just enjoy learning new things, it’s how my brain works” [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. Ep 6746 Ways to go Viral [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]
In this episode Rob shares six ways you can make yourself go viral. He also discusses what ‘virality’ actually is and how important relativity is. To join Rob’s one-off masterclass on omnipresence and content repurposing then go to www.rob.team to join it for FREE! KEY TAKEAWAYS Your content needs to be interesting not vanilla. Sitting on the fence does not make you viral! Interview someone people want to listen to. You can partner and/or leverage someone else’s audience. Ask for people to share your content. Leverage trends. When something is trending/topical that already has discussion and debate, leverage that energy, especially if you can get it early. Layer key words and names in your main content so that it trends and is picked up by searches. Repurpose your content! Ensure you are leveraging any content you create, repurpose it and create omnipresence. This is a huge way to go viral. BEST MOMENTS “Too many people are scared of criticism, scared of feedback, scared of a bit of noise and hate on social media” “I get 100% more shares when I actually ask” “I could have been Jesus online – could have gone viral!” [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. Ep 673RANT: 'He Who Works All Day Has NO Time to Make Money!' [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]
More of a warning than a rant but today Rob talks about how entrepreneurs and business owners need to spend their time wisely to make the most money they can. Listen in today to find out what you NEED to be doing to work smarter, not harder! To join Rob’s "Omni-Presence & Content Repurposing Masterclass" FOR FREE! Go to www.rob.team ! KEY TAKEAWAYS You can work as hard as physically possible but this will still stop you making money. Think about how to work smarter, not harder. Rob is talking about outsourcing, leverage, re-purposing, processes, are you using all the tools available to you and removing duplication? Social media is one key way you can make the biggest impact, for free. Leverage the tools they have to build your profile, reach, brand and create multiple lead sources. On top of this, the biggest thing you can do to leverage your time and create cash is by repurposing content; creating one piece of content and using it across multiple platforms in a purposeful way. BEST MOMENTS “He who works too hard has no time to make money” “If you don’t have multiple lead sources you don’t have multiple income streams” [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. NEW - The BEST Social Media Growth Hack [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]
What is the best social media growth hack? What is the one thing you can do above anything else? Listen in to this quick fire episode as Rob talks about what it is you can do to be successful across all social media platforms. KEY TAKEAWAYS The single most important thing you can do is content repurposing, by having an omnipresence across platforms. It’s key to use the same piece of content but not in a copy & paste way as this will have the opposite effect to what you want. You need to plan your origin content and then decide which bits to repurpose and on what platform, saving you time but giving you the best leverage. Ep 672Roger Saul - Founder of Mulberry on The Business of Fashion & Building an Empire [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]
In this episode Rob speaks to the co-founder of Mulberry, and sustainability pioneer Roger Saul. They discuss entrepreneurship, adaptability and of course fashion! An inspiring and educational conversation full of value for both the young and established entrepreneur alike. KEY TAKEAWAYS Fashion has changed tremendously in the past few decades. When Roger first entered the world of fashion in the early 70s it was very exciting, everything was new and fashion was centre stage in the same way music was. Fashion nowadays is more compartmentalised and it has found its place in our lives but isn’t as important as it once was. Roger has always enjoyed buying, selling and working with something he loved. Being an entrepreneur and working in fashion just made sense to him. He started Mulberry with a singer sewing machine in his kitchen, with his mother and girlfriend, and it was soon a success. Pivoting is a key part to any successful business and entrepreneur and Roger has demonstrated this many times over, including creating Mulberry home products when people started travelling less in the 80’s/90’s recession. You don’t have to ‘stay in your lane’ in business. Roger started in fashion, moved over to homewares, then hotels, onto food and more. Being able to adapt and do so with passion, energy and knowing your customers and audience is key. Your competition can give you the best pointers on what to do and what not to do. Look at what works for them, what they do well but also the mistakes they make. Opportunities don’t often drop into your lap, you have to be creative and make them happen yourself. BEST MOMENTS “Everything I have done, been involved with business wise I have really enjoyed the ride” “Fashion is always good at translating what happens next” “You’ve gotta keep reinventing yourself” “You have to be resilient if you want to be an entrepreneur and survive” [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. Ep 671For Empire Building, Scale up Entrepreneurs Only [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]
This episode is for Scale up Entrepreneurs and Empire Builders only! Rob shares business strategies and tactics to scale up and build your empire including distribution, marketing, income, admin and how to manage your emotions. KEY TAKEAWAYS Too many entrepreneurs are spending too much time IN their business, not ON their business. It’s important to focus on tasks that will create an impact and find ways for almost everything else to get done by someone else. To grow your business you need to be working with the right people. If you want to go far you need to ensure you are hiring and training the right people for your team as well as building relationships with people outside of your team and collaborating. You have to learn to manage your emotions the more your business grows, to ensure you are making the right decisions that aren’t clouded by your ego or anything else. Creating high tickets offers not only gives you a better margin but they also attract a higher class of client and help build and promote your brand. Create content that you can leverage in other ways. If you try and keep content you create evergreen there are no limits to what you can repurpose it for. BEST MOMENTS “To go from part time to full time to big time!” “You’re always looking for talent” “Make content that’s evergreen” [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. Ep 670RANT: Why You Must Pi$$ People Off (FFS LOL) [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]
This episode is for all of the people pleasers out there, for those of you who are scared to put yourself out there, the introverts and those in hiding. You absolutely MUST start to piss people off! KEY TAKEAWAYS Rob himself built people pleasing and conflict avoiding strategies when he was younger. It was how he coped and survived for so long. In 2006 he got into business and realised that he would get crushed if he kept this up so he had to learn to piss people off! People will hate you no matter what you do. If no one hates you then that means no one knows you. The only way to truly liberate yourself and to be completely free is to have the courage to be disliked. BEST MOMENTS “It’s not called a Rob whisper it’s called a Rob rant” “People will hate about you the very thing that’s great about you” [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. Ep 669Alan Barratt: Grenade Founder Gives Vital Advice for Entrepreneurs [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]
In this inspiring and energising episode, Rob interviews Alan Barratt, entrepreneur and founder of one of the fastest growing weight management, energy and lifestyle brands in the world, Grenade. They talk about Alan’s entrepreneurship journey, his many successes and what advice he would give to entrepreneurs, particularly those who are young or are just starting out. KEY TAKEAWAYS People who start up amazing brands probably don’t initially start with this in mind, they just did what they loved and that translated into their business. Alan believes if you focus on your brand and making good decisions then you will find success. It will always take hard work and dedication but if your passion is there you won’t struggle to make it work each day. Treat all people with respect. Consumers, suppliers, employees, everyone. Alan’s first entrepreneurial enterprise was when he was still at school. He was selling cakes in the playground, when he got found out, the head teacher said to his parents that Alan would either end up in prison or become a millionaire! Being fearless is an attribute Alan has that he believes got him to where he is today. He has always just gone for the ideas in his head, listened to his gut and not let anything hold him back. Being a young entrepreneur is an advantage, including not having money. Having a lot of cash behind you can make you less creative and less disruptive. The generational differences are more amplified now than ever before. Especially if you compare those who have been born into and only grown up with social media and the internet –vs- those who have only approached it in adulthood. All brands are extensions of their founders and owners. One thing Alan has always injected into Grenade is his sense of fun. This is why he has always enjoyed what he does so much but also why the brand is able to ‘get away’ with more and is loved by so many. BEST MOMENTS “I don’t want to limit what’s possible” “I’m a huge believer in timing, it’s the one thing in business you can’t change” “I just learnt how to hustle” “How exciting to just come into the world and have youth on your side” [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. Ep 688Floyd Mayweather: Exclusive Interview on Logan Paul, Money Secrets & Next Boxing Fights [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]
bonusFloyd ‘Money’ Mayweather joins The Disruptive Entrepreneur Podcast LIVE to discuss his mindset and motivation to achieve success throughout his undefeated boxing career and smart money investments. Rob and Floyd dive into the value of self-preservation, the need for continuous growth and why the comeback is always bigger than the setback. Listen in to another exciting episode with the greatest boxer of all time who has an estimated net worth of half-billion dollars! KEY TAKEAWAYS Floyd believes that to be great, you have to push yourself there. You need to put in the hard work and dedication in order to achieve great things. It’s very easy to judge people based on others opinions, Floyd is often misunderstood because of this. Learn to make your own decisions about people but most importantly make sure you are happy and true to yourself. Floyd believes whole heartedly with Rob’s tagline, if you don’t risk anything, you risk everything. He knows he wouldn’t be where he is today without the many risks he has taken. Taking each day and it’s challenges as they come is how Floyd stays motivated and focused on the tasks at hand. Otherwise it would be easy for him to become overwhelmed with all of the different things he has happening in his life. Betrayal can be difficult to deal with. But Floyd says if you can be the bigger person, it’s easier to come out the other side. An entrepreneur to Floyd, is someone who is independent and who always find a way to make what they want work. You don’t have to be rich or wealthy to be an entrepreneur. BEST MOMENTS “I push myself to be great” “You don’t get to Olympic games not taking a risk” “The unconditional love I’ve got for my children, no money could buy that” “I really didn’t know Logan Paul and I really didn’t know Jake Paul” [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. Ep 668Why ‘Content’ is NOT ‘King’ (& What Really is) [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]
Does creating content make you feel inspired or overwhelmed? Rob doesn’t believe content is king, marketing is. Marketing is the single most important aspect in ANY business. KEY TAKEAWAYS Repurposing is the queen. If you aren’t already repurposing your content then you are wasting time! Converting is key. If you aren’t converting sales, are you doing quality marketing and are you doing enough of it? Content can only be king if you are using it as part of your marketing strategy. For example, showing a problem your ideal client has and bridging this content into a solution of yours, such as attending one of your webinars. Ep 667RANT: STOP Avoiding This ONE Most Important Thing [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]
Rob needs to tell you how it is. Marketing is THE single most important thing in your business, stop avoiding it! KEY TAKEAWAYS So many people busy themselves with so many things in their business that these tasks actually get in that way of the most important task of all, marketing. If your marketing is good then your sales won’t need too much work as it will be mostly order taking. BEST MOMENTS “You are wasting time, you are actively procrastinating” “Never let the menial get in way of the meaningful” [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. Ep 666Mark Victor Hansen: How Entrepreneurs Can Inspire & Change The World [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]
“If everyone learnt how to be an entrepreneur young they could be rich forever” Today Rob speaks to Mark Hansen, an entrepreneur, author and speaker. They talk about the importance of entrepreneurism, it’s role in society and how they can inspire the next generation to move the world to a better place. KEY TAKEAWAYS Mark is great at networking and connecting with people on a real level. Mark is also an incredible speaker, goal setter and author. Rob has been helped and inspired by him in many ways and for this he thanks him. Everyone can be an entrepreneur and a leader. Everyone has the ability to be successful, especially if they start when they are young. When you are young you don’t see or know failure in the same way. You are more willing to take risks and often don’t even consider the concept of not succeeding in something. Ask yourself the right questions. About who you are, about others and about god. You will wake up things inside you that you didn’t know you had. You have so much more to give than you know. Your input creates your output. You need to think about, and carefully choose, what you consume in the way of TV, social media and the people who surround you too. Young entrepreneurs have every advantage. They have 360 degrees of potential, they can choose whatever direction they want and have nothing to lose. One of most important things you can do to be a successful entrepreneur is to be customer centric, if you pair this with finding your niche, you are almost guaranteed success! BEST MOMENTS “I wish every one of these kids would share their stories” “I didn’t know anything, but I didn’t know I couldn’t succeed” “You need to have a prosperity contest” “You’ve got to say yes to potential, you’re full of potential, you’re full of naive wisdom if you decide to claim it” [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. Ep 6657 EPIC Business Fails That Kill Your Growth [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]
In this episode Rob lists 7 mistakes you can make in business and the impact these have on your ability to grow and scale. KEY TAKEAWAYS Mistake no1 - Not doing enough partnerships or collaborations, you aren't then exercising leverage and you are attempting to do everything alone. You see everyone as competition rather than working with people in the same space as you. Mistake no2 -Not building a team is a sure way to fail to scale! You need talented people around you to help build you business to the next level. Mistake no3 - Not prioritising. You don’t know what tasks you should be focusing on and what you should be delegating and outsourcing. Mistake no4 - Not being on enough platforms. Which means you don’t have enough distribution, ads or audience. Mistake no5 - Not generating prospects. You might feel like you are doing what you are supposed to be but there will be a reason you are not converting interest into income! Make sure you are turning engagement into a way to make money. Mistake no6 - Not having proper processes and systems. Mistake no7 - Lack of profit. You have to focus on profit, revenue is mostly vanity, profit is sanity! The smaller you are the bigger your profit margins should be, as you scale they will become smaller but you should still be lean and very profitable! BEST MOMENTS “If you want to properly scale you need outsourcers, staff, you need to build a team” “You need to be on multiple platforms increasing your distribution” [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. Ep 664RANT: Why ‘Focus on ONE Thing to be Successful’ is Wrong. Do this instead.. [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]
In any one moment you can only do one thing, which is the reasoning behind ‘focus on one task’ but you should never just focus on one business model! In this episode Rob explores the idea of diversifying your business and why ‘focus on one thing’ is out of date advice and can actually be dangerous. If you want to scale your business quicker, faster and sign up to Rob's FREE zoom masterclass where he goes into depth on how to go from being a 7 figure company to and 8 figure company: www.robmoore.com/8 KEY TAKEAWAYS We are now in a decentralised economy, we are also decentralised in media forms, this is disrupting big business and institutions. Rob uses his 70, 20, 10 model to diversify his business. This is how to balance your tasks, business and things you do. Spend 70% on the main task, 20% on your secondary business and 10% on your new future business. Then you can start to systemise these things so that you can then look at something new. There is no such thing as multitasking successfully. You can ‘net time’, for example leveraging one piece of content for multiple platforms, but you cannot multitask and focus on multiple things at the same time. BEST MOMENTS “I really do believe it’s wrong, It’s un-common sense that’s quite frankly out of date” [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. Ep 663Glenn Jacobs: WWE Legend Kane on How to Become a Great Leader [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]
In this episode Rob speaks to Glen Jacobs, entrepreneur and WWE legend, on how to become a great leader and how failure is a big part of success. Listen in today to hear all about why we need to push ourselves out of our comfort zones and endure our failures to go onto be successful. KEY TAKEAWAYS The most important thing we can do to raise entrepreneurial kids is to encourage them to dream. To give them the comfort to step outside their comfort zone and to learn and discover what they enjoy and what they are good at. Being around people from various age groups provides such a unique opportunity, to learn and for inspiration. Younger people especially have a vibrancy and energy we can take creativity and stimulation from. Debt isn’t inherently bad. Having debt can mean you have access to capital you wouldn’t otherwise be able to have, it can be a stepping stone to greater things. You just have to have a plan and ensure it is necessary. In small business you have to be three people, the technician, the manager and the entrepreneur. A lot of people start a company because they really enjoy doing something e.g baking, but don’t think about the other roles they will have to play in order for it to be a successful business. There is a lot of negativity in the world right now. Glenn believes that many of the social issues the USA is facing at the moment is due to a lack of hope and optimism. People do not work towards solutions, instead they complain and blame others which is destructive and not helpful. BEST MOMENTS “Failure is a huge part of success” “The most important thing is we encourage our kids to dream” “You don’t know what you don’t know” “There’s just so much negativity in the world right now” [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. Ep 662You’re NOT Alone (they ALL say it, but...) [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]
There are a lot of people out there kindly saying you are not alone, but when you actually feel alone this rarely helps. In this episode Rob shares some practical ways you can help yourself when you are struggling with your mental health. KEY TAKEAWAYS Being an entrepreneur can be lonely, you don’t have management or a boss to rely on or support you. There isn’t anyone you can reliably turn to, nothing really prepares you for that feeling. Successful people still have doubts. Everyone is hit by the curse of comparison sometimes. It’s easy to not recognise how far you have already come and to be grateful for what you have achieved and what you already have in this world. When negative thoughts start to creep in, try and remind yourself and appreciate what you’ve got and who you have around you. Do you have people you can ask for help? If you don’t then you need to take some responsibility for the people you surround yourself with. It’s your choice who your support network will be when you need them. Everyone deserves to give themselves care and love. Your mental health is important. You have greatness in you, always remember that. BEST MOMENTS “Entrepreneurship can be very lonely” “I’m an unfinished oil painting” “Sometimes I don’t know what to do, sometimes I’m in a paradox and a conundrum” “Never be too proud to ask for help” [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. Ep 661RANT: STOP Doing Everything Yourself FFS [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]
Why are you still doing low value, waste of your time, somebody else’s problem tasks?! In this episode Rob tells you why it is not only a complete waste of your time, but also your expertise, to be doing these kind of tasks and what you should be spending your time on instead. Listen in today to liberate both your time and yourself. KEY TAKEAWAYS There’s a hard work lie being pushed out there that you have to work 10-12 hour days, 365 days a year, for a decade to be successful. This lie is for people who are scared. You should have just 5 key result areas, strategy, vision, collaborations, growth and personal brand are Rob’s. Anything that sits outside of your key result areas you should not be doing. Save time and ask yourself these four questions when you are feeling overwhelmed and need to start outsourcing your tasks:1) Who is better than me?2) Who is faster than me?3) Who is cheaper than me?4) Who enjoys it more than me? BEST MOMENTS “Oh Rob HELP ME!” “The world has changed you need to make sure you’re up to speed” “An entrepreneur is a generalist…you collate all the specialists together, it’s only your ego that makes you think you are better than anyone else…get the go the fuck out of the way! Ep 660David McCourt: Billionaire's Greatest Advice For Entrepreneurs [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]
In this episode Rob speaks to one of the most curious men he has ever met, David McCourt. David is an entrepreneur, thought leader and author. He likes to ask those questions that make you analyse and reassess the big questions in life. David talks about the advice he has received in the past, gives great insight into his entrepreneurial journey and shares some intuitive and perceptive tips for those entrepreneurs just starting out. KEY TAKEAWAYS When you first start out you don’t know anything, this can be a curse as well as a blessing. Curiosity, persistence, passion and loving people is what you need to drive you to start a business, those are the traits you need for success, then the money will follow. It’s ok the be afraid of failure. Fear is actually a driver and a part of passion. You are allowed to not want to fail but it’s important that when you do, and you will, to get back up and try again. Being a young entrepreneur means you are able to take more, and bigger, risks. You have nothing to lose. Just envision what you expect the future to be like and aim for it. There has been a power shift to the bottom. For the past thousand years everything has come from the top down, rules have changed. Young entrepreneurs are changing the future. Schools need to continue to be able to teach children how to ‘connect the dots’ in between knowledge. To learn how to connect thoughts and information to come up with a construct that you believe in. This was something the older generation took for granted in some ways, they were taught this and used this muscle as they didn’t have the internet to rely on. The globalized world we live in is tough. Only two generations ago it was possible to be able to own a home and pay for all necessities on just one working salary. This is not the case anymore, it’s incredibly hard for young people, these are the challenges they face. A positive attitude and a grateful mindset will mean that you find great success in this world as well as happiness. This is something David learnt from him mother who lived to be 103! BEST MOMENTS “People are really focused on making money and it’s overrated” “You really have to love people, you have to read, and listen, and think and talk to people and listen to their points of views” “Everybody’s plan B is better than their plan A” “Just because you read it, just because you saw it on the internet, doesn’t make it true” “No matter how bad your day is going…just remember there are lots of people who have it worse so you just have to pick yourself up and move forward” [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. Ep 659Faster Business Growth (12 Tactics) [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]
Listen in today for a tactical masterclass of faster business growth from Rob! He discusses ways you can accelerate growth in your business, how to do it simply and efficiently as well as how to utilise and use content, market effectively and get more money! KEY TAKEAWAYS On social media platforms you will be getting comments and messages from your ideal clients across the board. Ensure you are engaging with them and you respond instead of brushing it off as too much hard work. The solutions you offer to people may well end up being what you offer to future clients. Talk to your ideal clients, in your content, by raising the pains and problems that even your ideal client doesn’t know they have. It might be that the content you put out is more niche and appeals to less people, but those people are the clients you want and will be more likely to convert and buy. Having business partners is a proven way to accelerate your growth. Rob openly admits he would be a lot further behind in his entrepreneurial journey if he hadn’t gone into business with Mark Homer. Their partnership works so well because they have different strengths and balance out each others weaknesses. Repurpose your content. If you are creating something, always figure out how you can reuse that for something else. Whether it be a facebook live for your podcast episode that week, or a youtube video that you take soundbites from for tiktok. Put yourself everywhere, but do it efficiently. Look at offering high ticket items and throw in a red herring. If it is margin you want then ensure you have plenty of high value offerings with a high margin. Offering lower ticket items is fine but you will need to produce a lot more volume. Red herring items can also be a very useful tool, especially at events, as they offer a contrast to your other products and give a measuring point for value to customers. There are four levels to earning. Labour, Managing, Strategy and Vision. Those in the labour category earn the least and the people who earn the most are under vision. Ensure that even if you are a one man band who is still doing the ‘tasks’ in the labour area that you spend time in the strategy and vision camps too! There are three tasks you need to understand if you want to work less and earn more. Income tasks, impact tasks and admin tasks. When many people think of marketing they just think of leads. But you need a really great story to market your product well and this is proven time and time again. BEST MOMENTS “Ask your potential clients questions” “It changes more than my underpants” “Without each other we would be very much behind” “How do we know the value of anything? We know the value of everything by comparing it to something else” “Do you want to earn the least, or the most?” [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. Ep 658RANT- Meditation, Mindfulness; You DON'T Need it. Do This Instead [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]
In this episode Rob acknowledges that mindfulness and meditation are the current trends but you DON’T need either! Instead he gives alternative tips to get you hyper focused on what you actually need to get the results and success you want. KEY TAKEAWAYS Rob isn’t saying that meditation is a bad thing. It works incredibly well for some people and it may work for you in the future. But he points out the pressure to mediate and to do these various acts of mindfulness can actually add pressure where it isn’t needed and instead have an adverse effect on your results. You just need to find your way of clearing your mind so that you can then focus on the things you want and need to, whether that be through writing, playing sport or anything else. BEST MOMENTS “You’re at one with the thing” “There are millions on the planet who haven’t had to meditate to be successful” “If your mind is full of shit, you can’t” “Mindfulness is being able to do nothing or one thing without distraction” [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. Ep 657Grant Cardone: The Greatest Advice For Young Entrepreneurs [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]
In today’s exciting episode Rob speaks to Grant Cardone about entrepreneurship and crucially, asks him what his advice would be for young entrepreneurs today! After suffering the loss of his Dad and older brother at a young age Grant has always felt like he is in a bit of a rush in life. He also lost parts of his life to drugs and so understands more than most that none of us know how much time we have on this earth, we need to make the most of what we can. KEY TAKEAWAYS Grant is seemingly everywhere all of the time at the moment! He says he is just trying to get the right message to the right people. That is his mission. Grant suffered with a drug problem for many years. After being left completely alone in the world he decided to go to treatment where he managed to get off the drugs. He then had to make up a lot of damage he had done and start to rebuild his life. He took this energy and put it into his sales job, creating a career. You are never too young to realise you live on a planet that runs on finances. We can teach our children this early to get them prepared for the inevitable. Children can easily make more money than their parents, there are ample opportunities out there. The game is communication. Having great communication skills early on and being able to argue effectively is invaluable. If Grant was 15 today, he would be going after the kid/parent market, would create a YouTube channel about how parents can enable their children to learn faster. He would create hacks, courses and books. He would attract a large audience so he could then sell to them. If you don’t have an audience you don’t have a business, so that is the first step. An entrepreneur is a risk taker. To be an entrepreneur you HAVE to take risks, it’s in the job description! BEST MOMENTS “You’re everywhere!” “I took all that energy and put that into my sales career” “I’m terrified that I am running out of time all the time” “They make money their parents couldn’t even dream of making” “Everyone is judgmental” “It’s easy for a kid to set themselves apart““Don’t spend time with idiots” [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. Scaling From 6 to 7 Figures (13 Ways) [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]
bonusListen in to this Bonus episode of TDE as Rob gives a mini-master class on scaling from 6 to 7 figures in business. He shares proven tips and strategies on what you can do to make that next leap! KEY TAKEAWAYS Master one business/vertical and then grow out across your other ideas. Rob calls this cross-stream leverage. When you want to branch out and have multiple businesses try and choose ones that are related. If you have multiple businesses in multiple sectors you will be spread far too thin. Build a bigger database. Some people see this as old fashioned but email databases last, if social media platforms switch you off you still have your email database to rely on and that list is yours. Build your audience and distribution. The concept can be overwhelming but it’s about being clever, such as leveraging your time and repurposing your content. Have an ambassador or referral programme. This is free reach and marketing but it’s even more than that, you can offer extra value and resources to those who refer and build a community. If you master your emotions you master your business. When you are small you can certainly get away with more, especially how you react to things but as you get bigger this could be your downfall. There are endless ways to collaborate with others including interviews, joint ventures, speaking at events and so much more. Try not to spend your time and then have to re-spend it. If you are putting effort in then try and leverage it, for example instead of just doing a Facebook live, repurpose it and use it also as a podcast episode and shorten clips of it into youtube videos. Leverage and scale your initial effort. Having a rolling recruitment policy is a great way to scale up, it not only takes time to recruit but you should always been on the look-out for talent, it will help you grow. Hire smart people, give them all the resources they need, slightly too much work, all the training they need, career progression, feedback, education, give them projects and not tasks and let them crack on and don’t get in their way. That is the art of delegation. Multiple lead sources are key. If you only have one lead source then if anything happens you are completely stuck. Whether it is free, organic or paid for you need multiple ways of getting leads, if you aren’t make sales then that means you aren’t generating enough leads to begin with. BEST MOMENTS “This is all about distribution, and audience and reach” “When you lose your shit and you run a business it costs you money” “If you want to go fast go alone, if you want to go far go together” “Have a rolling recruitment policy” “It’s much better to pay for talent…pay proper money get proper talent” [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. Ep 656Omni-Presence & Vast Audience Building (Tactical) [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]
Social media has taken the world by storm and it is becoming increasingly challenging to be present on each platform, all of the time. Join Rob as he explains how you can create omnipresence on your platforms to help build your audience. Discover how to create your own social media funnel, the importance of collaborations with other influencers, and how to repurpose your content to create the illusion of omnipresence. KEY TAKEAWAYS Omnipresence is the perception that you are everywhere and are working on your social media and content creation 24/7. When in fact, you are repurposing, leveraging content and time. You need to have a social funnel. A social funnel is whereby your social media platforms have a way to encourage your followers to your business ecosystems. Make sure your ‘About You’ is consistent on your social media channels for memorability and perception of omnipresence. Joint ventures, collaborations and partnerships are a great way to build your audience. If you interview people with large followings for your podcast or go live on Instagram for a Q&A with someone, then you hit their audience and they hit yours. You get omnipresence with both audiences and you get a compounding of your audience. Create a written blog to reach further audiences. The great thing about blogs is that they can become Facebook articles and LinkedIn posts. You can then take this written format and repurpose it into podcast interviews and Facebook lives. If you already have customers, you can reverse engineer where those customers came from. You then do content for those platforms as well as adverts which will help attract even more customers. By doing this you are building momentum and compounding audiences. BEST MOMENTS “There is a perception that you are everywhere, when actually you are being smart with your time.” “The bigger the guest, the more you get to engage with their audience and you will bring their audience over to you.” “I take one piece of content, and I repurpose it into 5, 10 or 20 pieces of further content.” [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. Ep 655RANT! The Massive MYTH of Free Content [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]
What you have been told is no longer true! You used to be told that you have to give out free content every day for years and then you might find success, this has been the narrative for so long. But the world has changed, listen in today to find out why and what you should be doing instead. KEY TAKEAWAYS We are now in the dawn of the creator, the big old media powerhouses no longer have the immense power they did. Print, TV and radio used to control the narrative and choose what we consumed. This is changing. The start-up, creator and entrepreneur can reach dozens of different types of clients in different industries fast and for free. The social media platforms now need you. There are ways to get greater engagement and to hack the algorithms on each platform. You can gain reach on multiple channels and then monetise them! You need to have omnipresence. This is manageable by repurposing content for use across all platforms. People can invest in you, they can buy a piece of you in the same way you buy real estate. It’s the greatest time to be a creator, entrepreneur, marketer, consultant, coach, speaker and anything else where you are the brand and create. Ensure you are leveraging the audio content revolution. Podcasts have incredible reach right now and are only getting bigger. People can listen to audio, whether that be via a podcast or something like clubhouse, whilst doing something else. This means they consume so much more than something they have to be completely engaged in like a youtube video. BEST MOMENTS “For the first time ever they are competing for you instead of you for them” “Are you leveraging the decentralisation of power and media and control?” “We are in the greatest opportunity of the creator economy” [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. Ep 654Naveen Jain: How to Turn Your Passion into Billions [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]
Entrepreneur, philanthropist and founder of Moon Express, Naveen Jain joins Rob today to discuss how you can turn your passion into profits. Listen in to discover the important role mistakes play in making you who you are today, how to get comfortable within your own skin and why helping others will change humanity for the better. KEY TAKEAWAYS Every single mistake that you have made has made you exactly who you are today. It doesn’t matter where you are in life or how many mistakes you have made, you do not want to change one single thing that has happened to you. You are here today ready to take action, get ready to fall in love with yourself. Get comfortable within your own skin. You don’t need to look like someone else, talk like someone else or have the same education. What you need is to have the desire to dedicate your life to helping millions or billions of people in their lives. Many entrepreneurs will stick to their own niche. If they are in healthcare, they will only attend a healthcare conference where everybody is asking the same questions and thinking the same thoughts. The disruption will come from outside of your industry. Never live a life where you think you are 99% honest. Either you are honest or you are not. Once you go down the slippery slope of dropping 1%, there will always be a reason to drop another percent down. Either you live a life of integrity or you don’t. Never, ever compromise your honesty because once you do, there is no going back. When people tell you there are things that you cannot do because you come from a certain background or are of a certain race do not listen to them. Being different is actually your advantage. If everyone can help each other reach their own personal vision and missions, together humanity will be better because we are all supporting each other. BEST MOMENTS “Get ready to fall in love with yourself.” “That is the future, and I think it is going to be vast.” “That allows you to solve the problem that is not solvable today.” “I will do everything I can to help you on your mission.” ABOUT THE GUEST Naveen Jain is an entrepreneur and philanthropist driven to solve the world's biggest challenges through innovation. Ep 653Is Traditional Mainstream Media Dead? [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]
Is traditional media dead? Join Rob today as he discusses the vast shift in the way we consume media and how you need to adapt if you want your business to survive. Rob talks about the vast opportunities you can have as an individual creator, the global audience you can reach and the rise of creator currency. KEY TAKEAWAYS We are in Darwinian times, if you are a bricks-and-mortar business, you need to adapt or else you risk failure. With the pandemic and all the increase in taxes and loans to repay, you need to evolve and adapt. The creator economy is where traditional media no longer has control and individual creators are competed for by social media channels and you can make a living upfront generating multiple streams of income as a creator. Creator economy is a new movement where you have access to your ideal clients and a vast audience globally with virtually no friction. All social media platforms are now competing against each other which is great news for you. In the present and future of this movement is creator currencies. There are things such as Bitclout, Rally and creator coins. Now an artist can create content and get paid in content currency. BEST MOMENTS “What if you are an artist? You don't give away your work for free.” “Now you can go viral on TikTok!” “Social media channels are now competing for you.” “It is just unbelievable the amount of opportunities you have now.” [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. Ep 652RANT: Hire on Attitude not Skill: Utter BS! [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]
We have all heard it, hire on attitude not skill, skills can be taught and attitude can't. In this episode Rob challenges that notion and calls BS! KEY TAKEAWAYS People who say that attitude can't be taught aren't teaching attitude. Attitude is culture, passion and energy. It's your responsibility to create this as an employer, you need to cultivate the right environment. Often great talent knows they are great and so they come with a bit of a chip on their shoulder. They may have some arrogance which might rub people up the wrong way but don't you need to have a designer who can go against the grain and a financial advisor who is going to say it how it is? We all have flaws. You can't have a perfect person who doesn't have flaws and it's about embracing these. A team is a collective of individuals and you need variety to make a great workforce. BEST MOMENTS “I'd rather hire a brilliant coder who is grumpy, obnoxious, needs a crate of red bull every day and needs to be put in a corner away from human beings so they can go and code like a genius" "It's short sighted for people to say hire on attitude and not skills" [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. Ep 651How to Find the Greatest Business Opportunities [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]
As lockdown restrictions ease and ‘normal’ life slowly starts to resume, businesses and entrepreneurs are going to feel the pinch, as furlough ends and taxes rise. Rob is joined by Jessen James serial entrepreneur, author and business mentor as they discuss how to take full advantage of post lockdown opportunities and how you can avoid your business being hit hard. They discuss the importance of valuing yourself, how to live a fulfilled life and why those who stuck with their business models during lockdown are now thriving. KEY TAKEAWAYS If you do not adapt and change fast, then you should be worried. Furlough is about to end, higher taxes and back taxes are going to be implemented and all of the implications that have come with lockdown will begin to show. Make sure you are prepared to grab those post lockdown opportunities. When you meet your needs of having money in the bank, a family, a roof over your head and a job/business, then you have happiness, however it does not bring you fulfilment. Fulfilment happens when you are doing something for somebody else. Many people pay for personal development but if you can help someone fix their problems and by doing so they become better parents, siblings or partners then it will filter through to all other areas in their lives. By helping more business owners turn things around or start something rewarding then peoples’ metal health will improve. If you don’t invest in yourself then why should anyone else. Similarly, if you don't value yourself then other people will not value you either. Life doesn’t stop because there is a lockdown. Those who stuck around and continued to work on their businesses went on to thrive during lockdown and have done even better. He or she who decides to walk alone is going to get crushed, now it is the time to pull together. BEST MOMENTS “We are in a time of darwinian evolution.” “Nothing in life is secure unless you secure it yourself.” “I am happy but I am also fulfilled.” “He or she who decides to walk alone is going to get crushed.” ABOUT THE GUEST Jessen James is a serial Entrepreneur, Business Mentor, Coach and Speaker Author and Founder of "The Great Business Jailbreak - How to Work Part Time and Live a Full Time Life". Ep 6507 Figure Activities (not $7 ones) 21 of them [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]
Do you ever feel like you are working so hard, but your profits are not reflective of that? Join Rob today as he tells you what small income generating tasks you need to STOP doing, and what to focus your time on to ensure you’re making big profits. Discover the importance of creating new business partnerships, how to find the new trends and why creating recurring income can allow you to take your profits even higher. KEY TAKEAWAYS So many people end up distracting themselves from doing income generating tasks. One of the worst ways to do this is by doing active procrastination. Don’t work hard by spending your time doing menial, non income generating tasks. Create new partnerships and collaborations. Finding these new partnerships is not hard work, it is socialising and networking to build up relationships in business. Find the new trend, what is the new product that everyone wants? What is up and coming in media or social media? Where are the new opportunities? Every 18 months to 2 years new trends will appear and it is your job to find it. If you are doing menial admin tasks, you will not have time to find them. Hire great talent, build an amazing team, manage your senior managers and train your team to focus on the key result areas. Stop working too hard on you and work hard on them. Be an acquirer of great talent, a builder of great teams. The founder of your company needs to keep moving to higher levels of strategy. They need to keep working on their vision, mission and global scale and growth. Anything cascaded down into your team. The more strategic you become, the more operational you become which means you can get more operations done through your team and not through you. Get great mentors. Stand on the shoulders of giants, leverage the experience of others, get specialists who can train you in niche areas such as marketing, sales, recruitment and management. Create recurring income. If you have to keep selling items singularly you will use up a lot of time, energy and resources. Get recurring income through payment plans or membership sites etc then you can build big income streams as well as getting a multiplier of IPO in the future. BEST MOMENTS “If you are going to procrastinate, do it in style..go to the beach!” “Marketing is getting people in the shop in the first place, you could argue that is more important.” “Love your customers. Nurture your customers.” [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. Ep 649RANT: STOP ‘Trusting Your Intuition’! [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]
Have you ever been unsure about something and decided to just follow your instincts? Rob is here to tell you why you shouldn't do this and what you can do instead. Rob discusses how following your intuition is sometimes lazy, how your gut feelings toward people differ from your gut feelings in business and why only after decades of experience in an industry can you safely trust your gut. KEY TAKEAWAYS The saying ‘go with your intuition’ is lazy. The people that follow this rule are missing out on research, due diligence, and are often using it as excuse for rushing things and not being thorough. There is a slight difference when trusting your intuition with people and when trusting them in business. When it comes to people, some people trust people too easily and so therefore their intuition is wrong and other people do not trust people enough and so their intuition is wrong again. Our intuition is also our bias which is a reflection of our environment, upbringing and previous experiences. If your intuition with people has proven you wrong in the past, should you listen to it when it comes to business? Probably not. You should speak to others and do some research on current business trends. Try to figure out if this is the right business model for your skills and talents. Reading people is different from reading business models and if you get a funny feeling that you cannot put your finger on with someone, then you should still think about that. However, you shouldn’t just dismiss it, go and do the research and you may find you are wrong. You can only really trust your intuition when you have got decades of experience in the field. Instinctive feelings are made up from all of your experiences which lie in your brain and constantly feed you quick information. However, if you have just gone into the business your instinct may be wrong since you have no previous experience of the industry. BEST MOMENTS “I want a mentor that when I am doing something stupid will flipping well tell me and not sugar coat it.” “It gives us a cognitive clouding.” “Have you ever said to yourself ‘I am going with my gut’? When in reality, you just didn’t do research.” [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. Ep 648Chatri Sityodtong: Billion Dollar MMA Promoter, Asian Business Tycoon and Muay Thai Master [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]
Rob is joined by Asia's 2nd Most Powerful Person in Sports, CEO of ONE championship and martial artist, Chatri Sityodtong. Together they discuss how the meaning of life is about the love you share and impact you have, how to embrace the pandemic and see it as an opportunity and why to be disruptive means you need to break the rules that no longer make sense in today's society. KEY TAKEAWAYS The meaning of life is the love you share and the impact you make. Nothing else matters. Our purpose is to unleash our greatest in life by overcoming our fears, doubts and insecurities. Use your gifts and time on this earth to leave it better than how you found it for your loved ones, friends, communities and the world. The pandemic has been the worst crisis in 100 years, rather than being scared you should feel inspired by it. This is an opportunity to prove that you are extraordinary as a company. In the martial arts world, if you win all the time it means nothing. You only know who you are if you go through a very hard battle. Embrace the pandemic and use it as a way to see how great you are. If you are just average, then you will be rubbish and your business will go under. If you are phenomenal then you will deliver phenomenal results. A great leader is someone who really has a server mindset in terms of understanding what his/her team's needs are individually. People are not only motivated by money, money is only one aspect. Learning, growth, responsibility, sense of purpose and promotions all matter to someone. A great leader has to inspire greatness in his/her people. When human beings fight for something bigger than themselves extraordinary things happen. That is how people win olympic gold medals or win wars. Extraordinary feats in life require the sense of ‘I’m doing something because there's something that is much bigger than myself.” Making money is a very weak motivation in life, you have to have something higher to motivate you. To be disruptive means that you do things better, faster, cheaper or differently than others. It means to break the rules because they don’t make any sense any more in the world we live in, do so with integrity and do it ethically. BEST MOMENTS “I sat there and thought, what is the point of my life?” “After you die you it all means nothing. You can’t take a Lamborghini or a Ferrari with you.” “I was a hardcore entrepreneur all my life.” “That is when you really know who you are.” ABOUT THE GUEST Chatri Trisiripisal, known by the ring names as Chatri Sityodtong and Yodchatri Sityodtong, is an entrepreneur and a martial artist originally from Thailand, best known as the Founder, Chairman and CEO of ONE Championship. Ep 647Ask me Anything LIVE! [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]
Today Rob opens up the floor to you, in a very rare ‘ask me anything’ episode Rob answers all your burning questions from social media to personal branding, nothing is off-limits. Discover the impact Clubhouse can have on your personal brand, how to overcome your fears of rejection and how finding a brilliant workforce, can help you feel liberated. KEY TAKEAWAYS If 2020 has taught us anything it is to be agile, think fast, decide fast and act fast. Start now and get perfect later. These lessons are always presenting themselves to you however, in light of the pandemic and the lockdown and having to adjust your business model, those that adapted quickly survived and grew throughout the year. Those that did not take the opportunity really struggle. Older social media platforms such as Facebook are killing creators organic reach both on their pages and in their supporter programmes with reach being as low as 17%. Whilst there are some things you can do to boost your reach, the algorithm is not always in your favour. Clubhouse does not yet have reach issues, which is why some creators are focusing more of their time on the platform, to ensure higher engagement rates. The biggest fear is always rejection and ridicule. You should try to overcome this fear every day, even though it may hurt you. You can overcome your fear of rejection by understanding that you have more to give to the world and knowing that you are equally worthy of being valued and loved like everyone else. Know that if you don’t overcome those fears, you will never have the lifestyle that you want and make the impact that you want. One thing that will allow you to work on the business, rather than in the business is by finding yourself a brilliant MD. Hire an ‘Ops Manager’ train them up and ensure you are loyal to them. Teach them your SOP’s, systems and processes and see that you serve them until they get good enough that they can serve you. You need a great PA to free yourself of all the minutiae so you can free yourself to focus on income-generating tasks. BEST MOMENTS “I am doubling down on my content.” “That is one of the reasons I have spent to much time on Clubhouse because you don’t get that.” “That is going to be the best way to liberate yourself.” [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. Ep 646RANT: The MYTH of Impostor Syndrome v2.0 [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]
Have you ever felt like you are your own imposter? Join Rob as he discusses why imposter syndrome is a myth. Discover why when you label yourself with imposter syndrome you make out something is wrong with you, how imposter syndrome is just emotions reacting to your new environment and why just because you have failed at something, does not mean you are a failure. KEY TAKEAWAYS When you label yourself with imposter syndrome you make out that there is something wrong with you. The feelings you have when you have imposter syndrome are normal, you are supposed to have those feelings. All imposter syndrome is, is an emotion. You may be feeling nervous, inexperienced, subordinated or out of your comfort zone, that all it is. That is a good emotion to have, it is normal to feel those feelings. You have a myriad of these emotions and these are all really useful emotions. When you start something new, you want to feel humble to the point where you are a hungry student eager to learn from the best, the imposter syndrome keeps you in your position. You are good enough. You are not a failure if you fail, you are not an imposter if you feel this imposter syndrome. These are just emotions, you may not know what your emotions are and you may feel confused about them. Every human emotion is useful and necessary otherwise you wouldn’t feel it. Emotions are simply feedback for the environment, so you feel good when something in the environment makes you feel safe and you feel bad when an environment challenges you. BEST MOMENTS “Too many people are making these labels.” “Should you have imposter syndrome about jumping out of a plane without a parachute? Yes you should!” “You are good enough.” [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. Ep 645Marisa Peer: Expert Therapist on Sex, Orgasms & Building Self Confidence [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]
World renowned speaker, transformational therapist and best selling author Marisa Peer joins Rob today to discuss everything from the importance of a healthy sex life to having a success mindset. Discover the importance that sex plays in living a healthy and fulfilled life, how building your personal brand requires you to be brave and why the whole world needs to be disrupted. KEY TAKEAWAYS If you have a healthy sex life then you will have a more fulfilled life. Sex has been proven to help you live longer. In all of the worlds blue zones (areas of the world where people live the longest) the people who were living the longest where having regular sex, even in their 80’s and 90’s Studies show that sex has got so much more to do for you than a women becoming pregnant, it releases stress, makes you feel good and gives you energy. What often happens with successful people is they look at their past and they say ‘yes but..’ followed by an excuse as to why they believe they are a bad person. They have a terrible guilt which all comes down to the same thing. They all believe that they are not enough because when they were a child their needs were not met. It is too scary for a child to work out that their parents are lacking, that is terrifying. . We have to idolise our parents and therefore we make everything our own fault. You need to fix these issues at source. All you have to do is reactivate what you are born with, a certainty that you are enough. When you know you are enough, it changes everything and it allows other people to know that too. You have to be unconventional and brave to build your own brand. You have to be prepared to have a message that some people dont like and will really call you out on. If you know that you are doing good stuff with a good heart then it is okay to go out there and be true to yourself. Do not be scared of other people and what they might think about it. 80% of success is down to mindset, you need to have the mindset that says ‘I can do this’. Belief without talent will take you further than talent without belief, but if you have both you will be unstoppable. You can have all the talent in the world but without belief you will not go anywhere. You should disrupt and the whole world needs to be disrupted at some point. Disruptive people do things because they think outside the box, it should be done more not less. BEST MOMENTS “It is not just the sex itself. It is something so bonding, mystical and magical.” “I get to change the ending of their story.” “His whole life changed in a dime.” “Be true to yourself.” ABOUT THE GUEST Marisa Peer is a world renowned speaker, Rapid Transformational Therapy trainer and best-selling author. Ep 644The Traits of Great Entrepreneurs [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]
Discover today the many great traits that entrepreneurs all over the world possess. Join Rob as he discloses all the wonderful attributes millionaires, billionaires and successful people have which got them to where they are today. Rob discusses how curiosity, disruptive energy and self-belief are just some of the many traits a great entrepreneur has. KEY TAKEAWAYS Curiosity is a trait of many entrepreneurs, especially billionaires. When you have conversations with millionaires or billionaires you may find that they are often asking you more questions than you are asking them. There is a perception that billionaires may be power-hungry or greedy but this is not always the case, they are often humble with a desire to learn. They disrupt. They go against social and cultural norms and are prepared to do things that most people would disagree with or would resist. Entrepreneurs have a burning desire, they have a passion and enthusiasm that never goes, despite the challenges that come their way. Great entrepreneurs know how to surround themselves with smart people. An entrepreneur tends to be a generalist and they will surround themselves with specialists. They don’t let their ego get in the way, they hire people that are good at what they do, they love to be around the very best as this inspires them. Many entrepreneurs can push through when times are hard. The harder it gets, the more committed they are to push through and stay in the game. Entrepreneurs have to have self-confidence and self-belief. When they start as an entrepreneur they are often not proven yet and there are no guarantees that they will succeed. BEST MOMENTS “They are often never satisfied and they keep pushing and moving forward.” “They are seduced by the deal.” “They handle fear.” “Nothing is guaranteed as an entrepreneur.” [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. Ep 643RANT: TWO Words That Ruin Your Life (& Three That Change it) [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]
There are two words that will ruin your life and Rob is here to tell you what they are. Don’t miss today's podcast to find out how you can stop blocking all opportunity and growth from your life and how to open up your mindset to an infinite amount of success. Rob discusses how many entrepreneurs continuously block out solutions, how there is a misconception that the more successful you are the less problems you may have and to always remember that every winner was once a beginner. KEY TAKEAWAYS There are two words that will ruin your life. These two words will block all opportunity, solution and growth. However the majority of people's default setting is to say these two words. They continuously say these words, no matter how many solutions you offer. These two words are ‘Yeah but..’ they are usually preceded by a suggestion or a solution to their problems. What ‘yeah but’ is, is a lack of desire to solve the problem. Changing ‘yeah but…’ to ‘tell me more’ opens your mind to opportunity. Often people will say ‘yeah but it is alright for you..’ suggesting that it is easy for those who are already ‘successful’ to suggest a solution when they’re not the ones dealing with it. Don’t be naive, the more successful you are the bigger your problems become, it doesn't get easier it gets better. You can be a little bit skeptical about the solutions, but trust that they are there and verify the validity of them. Notice if you begin to say ‘yeah but it's alright for you’, as it is really important to remember that every winner was once a beginner. BEST MOMENTS “They say them over and over and over again.” “It's a relevant time because at the end of the month, my new book opportunity comes out.” “Don’t be a yeah but kind of person, be a ‘tell me more’ kind of person.” “New level, new devil.” [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. Ep 642John Assaraf: Mindset & Behaviour Expert, Star of The Secret [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]
Everybody knows the benefit that exercise has on the human body, but what about innersise and the life-changing effects that strengthening your mind can have on your life? Today Rob is joined by best selling author, entrepreneur and CEO of NeuroGym John Assaraf, who discusses the importance of working on your cognitive behaviour in order to lead the successful life you desire. John talks through the act of ‘cognitive priming’, the science behind success and how being disruptive is not accepting ‘what is’ but about asking ‘what can be?’ KEY TAKEAWAYS Where exercise is done to strengthen your muscles, ‘innersise’ is done to strengthen your mind. Start by writing your vision and goals and write out the beliefs you need to achieve them. Each day after you, should sit in front of the written document and do ‘cognitive priming’. Cognitive priming the act of visualising yourself achieving your vision and goals. . Visualisation is simulation therefore when you actively prime your brain through focused attention and spaced repetition as well as adding emotion, you are activating certain networks in your brain. When we create a neuro pattern and we reinforce it, it becomes a dominant paten, we now become habituated into seeing our goals. It now goes from a conscious effort to unconscious behaviours. When we activate the deeper limbic system of ours aka our emotions with the logical part, we are adding fuel to the neurons that are firing and the chemical release. When that happens we are getting rewarded a lot deeper. That is what causes us to build a neuro network which then actively does its thing constructively that causes us to take positive action. Do the right thing, in the right order at the right time. There are a process and science to success, whilst you may seem busy doing things, they may be the wrong things. If you learn the process and apply it you can be successful in life because you are following the blueprint for success you can then add some innovation. The meaning of life is to be curious. You should be able to express yourself in a way that makes you so proud. Be proud that you are using the miracle of curiosity in a way that is worthy of life itself. Anything less than that, you are settling, and selling yourself short. Disruptive people change the norm. Don’t accept the norm. Every advancement in humanities evolution has been done by somebody disrupting the norm and somebody who has innovated a better, faster more efficient way to do something. To be disruptive is not just sitting back and accepting ‘what is.’’ it challenging your brilliance to ask ‘what can be?’. BEST MOMENTS “I tend to set myself big goals and dreams, many of which I don’t know how I am going to achieve.” “Which one has more power?” “I am so excited about our body of work.” “You should be saying ‘wow’ every second of every day that you have life.” ABOUT THE GUEST John has built 5 multimillion-dollar companies, written 2 New York Times Bestselling books and featured in 8 movies, including the blockbuster hit “The Secret” and “Quest For Success” with Richard Branson and the Dalai Lama. Today, he is the founder and CEO of NeuroGym, a company dedicated to using the most advanced technologies and evidence-based brain training methods to help individuals unleash their fullest potential and maximize their results. Many retail, brick and mortar type businesses have struggled during the pandemic. Also think about a joint venture, joint partner or acquisition opportunities that are out there. There are lots of opportunities in e-commerce, it’s on the rise. You might think that there’s too much competition out there, but remember the Internet is still very young, just 30 years old. Ep 640RANT: 3 Steps to More Sales (Blunt) [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]
In today’s episode, Rob shares with you a simple, three step process to urgently increase your sales fast. So whether you’re coming out of lockdown, pivoting or just need and want more revenue then listen in! But you MUST implement what Rob is sharing or it won’t work. Rob discusses the importance of collating your own list of leads, asking for their feedback and how to ask for referrals. KEY TAKEAWAYS Before you even start the process, collate a list of leads and clients; people who may have turned down your products or services previously and collate them all together. Call every single client or lead on your list and ask for feedback. Draw the feedback out, establish problems they might be having with their business right now and offer to go back to them with ways in which you can implement that feedback. The next step after you’ve implemented the feedback you’ve gained, is to go back in a week or so and pitch your product/service which should now be bespoke to them and/or packaged differently based on the feedback they gave you. When you’ve gained their business, go back to them in a few days time to thank your new client for their business and ask for recommendations and referrals to people who may also benefit from your product or service. BEST MOMENTS ‘Wrap and package what you’ve got around their specific needs and requirements’ ‘To know and not to do is not to know’ ‘Talk doesn’t cook rice’ [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. Ep 639Caprice Bourret: Supermodel, Entrepreneur & TV Star [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]
Award-winning model, businesswoman and philanthropist Caprice joins Rob and details how she went from the worlds sexiest woman to one of the businesses most successful female entrepreneurs. They discuss the power of silence, the importance of having a strong community of friends around you and how to identify your target market for your product or service. KEY TAKEAWAYS You have to put your ego in your back pocket. You have to always think of a ‘plan B’, that is the smart thing to do. As an entrepreneur you can never be complacent, you have got to keep moving forward, expanding and innovating. Successful entrepreneurs will understand that if you want to be successful, you have got to put the work in continuously. You have got to identify the target market for your product or service. It is not enough to just have a ‘good idea’, you need to know who is going to buy it. Understand that buyers need to understand who is going to buy into your brand. It is really important to build a support group and a community of friends. This past year has been a tough time for everyone but it is important to remember that everyone has been in it together. We are all going through the same thing, and we are almost out of it. Negotiating contracts is an art form. Many people are guilty of stereotyping and it may be hard to pick up credibility purely because of your stereotype. In business, your biggest move is complete silence and restriction. Until you can take out the emotion you have to go silent, and that is your power. If someone is successful, often people tend to shame that person for discussing their wealth and success. Embrace those who are eager to be successful, it is great to wake up in the morning and have something to aspire to be and do. Although it is really hard when you have invested so much time and money into something and it is not working, a lot of people tend to put in more to try and make it work. The best play is to get out, take your losses and invest in something that is going to work. BEST MOMENTS “You’ve got to play to your strengths.” “I just grabbed an opportunity that I saw and I just went with it.” “We’re almost there, we can see the light at the end of the tunnel.” “ We still live in a man’s world.” “Instead of battling back or yelling, go silent.” ABOUT THE GUEST Caprice Bourret is an award-winning model, businesswoman and philanthropist. Having shot to fame in the 1990s, Caprice’s break-through front cover was Vogue Magazine. She is often referred to as ‘one of the most photographed women in the world’ and has appeared on more than 350 magazine covers across the globe and over 300 TV shows and films. From her humble beginnings in Southern California, Caprice settled in England in her early 20’s and is now a true adopted Brit. Caprice has been voted GQ Magazine’s Woman of the Year and Maxim’s International Woman of the Year for three years running. Her American entrepreneurial spirit has seen her diversify into other areas such as music and acting, as well as, investing her first million in the property at a young age. Having starred in several West End productions, including the lead in Rent and Vagina Monologues. Caprice bought the rights to the hit production, ‘Debbie Does Dallas the musical’ which she produced and starred in. An avid philanthropist, she has raised hundreds of thousands of pounds for charities and Caprice is a patron of Woman’s Trust and Brain Tumour Research, Tikva, Jewish Care. More recently Caprice has also reignited her passion for acting and she is set to star in several films, including a lead role to be aired exclusively on Amazon Prime. Caprice is known today for her business acumen having founded ‘By Caprice’ in 2006. The brand has gone onto becoming hugely successful and she has built up the business entirely on her own. Firstly focusing on lingerie and due to huge success, By Caprice Home followed. Known for its glamour, design, originality and high quality, the range is stocked in Next, very.co.uk, appletreeliving to name a few. Caprice uses her success and life experiences to empower and inspire through motivational talks she gives to college students, entrepreneurs and CEOs. There will be tremendous growth in this area. 7) Hybrid Model – Your business no longer has to just be physical, utilise the breakthroughs in technology in all markets and niches. Keep up to date with all news and anything new and ensure you repurpose your content to use a multi-platform approach. 10) Agency Model – You can easily set up an agency, from podcasts to social media, there are many different approaches and disciplines. It is also very simple and easy to scale and grow into other areas once you have got started. 11) Connections – Anything that connects people will be big business post lockdown. Ep 638Turning Problems into Possibilities [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]
In this episode, Rob talks with Matt Fiddes about what opportunities there are post-lockdown and what you need to do to make the most of them. They also discuss Rob's new book Opportunity: Seize The Day. Win At Life and what Rob's motivation was behind the book and his entrepreneurial journey. KEY TAKEAWAYS The whole world has been shut down for 12 months, if you have the right mindset then you can look around and see what opportunities there are available to you. You have to seize the opportunities out there and turn the challenges and problems into something that drives you. There are probably many people out there who were in a job that wasn't making them happy. Lockdown gave them the opportunity to soul search and post-lockdown is now the opportunity for them to take action and make a decision to change things. There's billions of cash in peoples bank accounts that they haven't been able to spend because of lockdown. We will see a mini-boom in social and live events once restrictions are lifted, many companies may have struggled in the pandemic so this produces a unique chance for a new business venture or a new direction for an existing business. There have been artificial things propping up the market, such as furlough, but these will all end and it is then we will see a dip, particularly in property prices. Almost any new business needs to be online. Setting up a digital business selling courses, masterminds, mentoring etc in your niche is a low cost but high value way to bring in cash. Utilise all social media platforms, send dms, do lives, repurpose all of your content. Get yourself everywhere and drive people to buy from you. There are hundreds of business and mindset books out there but there was only one on opportunity. Now with Rob's new book, there is two! This book is not about waiting for an opportunity that might never come. It's a book for right now containing ideas and strategies that can be employed right away, and will ensure that you attract opportunities, whether big or small, all the time. BEST MOMENTS "What he doesn't know isn't worth knowing" "You've GOT to be online" "More millionaires are made in depressions than any other time" "We're gonna see successful entrepreneurs thrive" "If you win more days then you lose then you'll win at life" "I'll learn anything from anyone Matt, I think we can all teach each other stuff" [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. The Biggest Business Opportunities in 2021 [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]
bonusIn this episode, Rob is interviewed by Nick James of The Empire Builders Podcast. They discuss the infinite and abundant opportunities available in every nanosecond and how we just have open our minds to bring them into reality. There are opportunities you should delay and those to delegate along with those you should be pursuing and implementing. This is a great opportunity to hear about Rob’s approach to opportunities, what will be the biggest opportunities in 2021 and the ones you should be avoiding along with great content from his new book ‘Opportunity, Seize the Day, Win at Life’, why you should try Clubhouse and the ultimate positive value of your peer group. KEY TAKEAWAYS Be greedy when others are fearful and fearful when others are greedy. There are billions in latent savings if you can encourage people out from their fear. Opportunity is infinite and all around us There is an infinite and abundant number of opportunities available in every nanosecond but we just have to bring them into reality. Opportunities are abundant and limitless but we think they are scarce I teach people how to train their minds to see the abundant opportunities and how to create, manifest and forge them into a result. How do you know which opportunities to delete, delay or which to delegate? The elements that make it possible to sell on a viral scale are a great offer, a great concept, Scarcity, urgency, bonus offer and incentive Everyone misses out on some opportunities and you have to accept this as reality. Luck is when preparation meets opportunity. You have to prepare for an opportunity by being ready and leveraging. Preparation is getting the resources and assets ready for the opportunity but you also have to implement it, you have to chase it. Part of preparation is your peer group the network you surround yourself with. Every opportunity is created in some way, shape or form by another human being. Ep 637How to Take More Opportunities (Tables Turned) [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]
Do you ever look at the super successful millionaires and billionaires in the world and wonder ‘how did they get all those amazing opportunities?’ Join Rob as he discusses his new book ‘Opportunity’ and how you can guarantee those opportunities make their way to you. Discover today how manifestation and action can bring you chances of a lifetime, how growth is never ending and why being kind is the most important thing of all. KEY TAKEAWAYS If you want control over your financial future, you need to be an entrepreneur and start your own business. If you want to avoid paying tax to the government first before you get your bit, make a meaningful difference without bureaucracy, be in control of your scale and ensure you are always inspiring people, then you should start your own business. If you believe in the universe being a quantum of time where the future, past and present are all in the now, then you will come to understand that there are always an infinite amount of opportunities in every nanosecond of every day. Those opportunities don’t manifest to us unless we go out and find them, we let go and let them come to us through manifestation, or we take action. You cannot do two deep dive tasks at once. Task jumping is dead, wasted time, you need to get into the ‘in-flow state as soon as possible and stay there for a long time. You may occasionally become overwhelmed because you have too many tasks on, however, it is better to have a bit too much to do than not have enough to do. When people ask ‘when does growth ever end?’ the answer is, ‘it never does.’ If the growth would end then humanity would end. If you don’t grow you decay. When you are an entrepreneur and you focus on growth and your vision, it is easy to forget that kindness is everything. When you are too busy or in personal pain, you are unlikely to be as kind as you would like to be. The more pain you’re in, the more selfish you are. Don’t get too overwhelmed to care and think about people and sort your pain out before focusing on others. BEST MOMENTS “If you want the next level of growth to be under your control and take full and personal responsibility then you should start a business.” “There is no good, there is no bad, there is no right, there is no wrong.” “How do you manifest the infinite amount of opportunities that are there in the present reality?” [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. Ep 636Ben Francis: Founder of Gymshark, Bedroom Designer to Billionaire Dollar Brand [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]
At the age of 19, entrepreneur Ben Francis founded Gymshark now a global fitness apparel powerhouse valued at $1.3 billion and today, he joins the Disruptive Entrepreneur podcast to discuss he journey from bedroom to board room, the mindset needed to start, grow and scale a brand and why empowering a great team around you can help to drive your business forward. KEY TAKEAWAYS Luck comes in all different shapes and sizes and it is situational to every individual’s upbringing, skillset and circumstances. To some degree, you also make your own luck in life. Intuitive thinking and taking risks can help to set you apart from your competition. Having the mindset of saying “I don’t care what you think, I am going to do it anyway” in business, may work up until a point. However, when you start to build great teams you begin to realise that this mindset cannot continue as you need to build the amalgamation of all the ideas around you. You need to then take those ideas and morphe them into a vision and then learn to communicate them in an eloquent and inspiring way. You have to be able to learn new skills very quickly and be open-minded with them. You cannot let your failures define you. Some people will allow you to believe that they have never failed, and they tend to be the ones that don’t perform as well. Be open about failure and encourage that within your business. One of the most fundamental truths in growing your business is that the more responsibility you take on, the more meaning your life will have. When you have people reporting to you, you work for them. You need to be there for them, support them and give them the tools to allow them to succeed. You end up working in overdrive to support the people reporting to you. Within a team, you need different people to form a great team. However, they should all be highly motivated people, that are good human beings that want to create a change within the world. BEST MOMENTS “Luck comes in many different shapes and sizes. It is situational.” “I think those skills definitely adapt as the business grows.” “Anything negative, I am not going to have anything to do with it.” “The only very few regrets I do have been when I haven’t trusted my gut and gone through with something.” ABOUT THE GUEST At age 19, Francis founded Gymshark out of his bedroom in his parents' house. Now the fitness apparel and accessories brand is one of the fastest-growing companies in the U.K. The Instagram-savvy brand's revenue reached $50 million last fiscal year and is expected to hit $120 million in 2018. Shout out to other influencers on your Instagram stories, and they will do the same for you. If you don’t have a large following, don’t worry. Approach people who are on level with you, or slightly above you. You don’t actually have to shoot for the influencers with millions of followers instantly, you can build your way up to this. Offer the influencer something. Do some research on them and find out what their passion project is. When you approach the influencer make sure you are very specific and talk about their passion project that many other people don’t know then you will have a lot higher chance of getting their attention. It is considered ‘retro’ these days to pick up the phone and call someone. There is nothing wrong with having a volume strategy, as long as you weave in some personal and elegant touches to your phone calls then you will win. You build a proper connection and rapport off the platform. For those bigger hitters and people who you really would like to connect with, you can purchase a thoughtful gift for them. You can get creative with some cool gifts that do not cost too much money and help get their attention. You are not able to do this on a large scale so it is a good idea to make a list of your top 50 influencers, and these are worth taking the time and effort to write handwritten letters too and sending them thoughtful gifts. Send the influencer a testimonial of their work and how they have personally impacted you. Post a testimonial on your social media, tag them in and get their attention. Everyone that has a product or service to sell will need more testimonials, so this will help them too. BEST MOMENTS “There has got to be an outcome and a benefit to them.” “Doing a collaboration and a partnership is like a ladder, you won’t get to the top rung without starting at the first.” “I think you’re going to win, and win big!” “Some of these people don’t even know I'm planning a collaboration with them.” [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. Ep 634My Honest Views on Prince Harry & Meghan, Oprah Interview [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]
International fitness trainer to the stars and pop royalty Michael Jackson’s trusted security guard and friend, Matt Fiddes joins Rob today to discuss THAT royal interview with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Together they discuss their thoughts and opinions on the interview, how the interview with the world's most successful TV broadcaster Oprah has helped launch their new personal brand and Matt shares his personal experiences with Prince Harry. KEY TAKEAWAY It is understandable that Prince Harry would like to protect his wife given the fact that she was having mental health problems, and was having suicidal thoughts. However, to broadcast it to over 1 billion people, could potentially make her the most hunted woman ever in the media. Prince Harry does not want a repeat of what happened to Princess Dianna however the interview was broadcast to 1 billion people. It is hard to believe that Megan and Harry would have sat there in front of Oprah without knowing what was going to be asked. The Megan and Harry interview was not live, it was edited so there was a huge amount of control for all three of them. Prince Harry and Megan have got to start thinking about making some serious money as they are no longer getting any palace funding. Prince Harry is a very clever man and is very much in control of his and Megan's life and he always aims to protect both her and their son. Security for the three of them will cost a lot of money and they need to think about how they can afford this lifestyle. Prince Harry and Megan have launched their personal brand on the world's largest TV broadcast with the world's most successful TV interviewer. They are cleaning up their personal brand and they are also clearing up some truths. The irony here is that they have a desire to be private and secure and yet they are living in the hottest press city in the whole world and have just been guests on the biggest show in the world. They are launching their new life and distancing themselves from the royal family and now everyone is going to be talking about them forever. BEST MOMENTS “This thing will go on for months. I don’t think it was the smartest thing to do.” “They had a right to share their side and had a right to share their truths.” “What better way to launch your brand than on Oprah?!” “He’s a clever guy. Prince Harry is not a clown.” “Personally I don’t begrudge them that at all.” ABOUT THE GUEST Matt Fiddes is one of the most respected experts in the international world of martial arts and fitness.
