Mark L. Cannon received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Nebraska and then attended Northwestern University for his Masters of Pediatric Dentistry. He completed his residency at Children's Memorial Hospital and received his Diplomate status by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He is a past president of the Illinois Society of Dentistry for Children, a Professor of Otolaryngology, Division of Dentistry at Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine, an Attending Physician at Ann and Robert Lurie Children's Hospital and a member of the International Association of Pediatric Dentistry. In addition to being the founder of Associated Dental Specialists of Long Grove (1981); he is the Research Coordinator of the Pediatric Dental residency program at Ann and Robert Lurie Children's Hospital, Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Cannon has 40 years of experience in pediatric dentistry and has presented lectures at the University of Athens, Greece, Sao Paulista State University, UNESP, Aracatuba, Brazil, University of Texas- Houston, University of Alabama-Birmingham, University of Southern California, University of California Los Angeles, Louisiana State University, and many other institutions world-wide. Dr. Cannon has lectured extensively on many oral health topics including evolutionary oral medicine, the gateway microbiomes, biologic and bioactive dental materials (patents owner), probiotics, and all aspects of everyday Pediatric oral health. Dr. Cannon has humbly accepted two invitations by the Karolinska Institutet, first to the Nobel Forum (2016) and secondly to the Nobel Assembly (2017). Most of all, Dr. Cannon is the proud father of five, all of whom are very accomplished. He is also a very proud grandfather!

Dr Ian Erwood received an Honors BSc majoring in Biochemistry at the University of Toronto. He then received his DDS from the University of Western located in London Ontario. After graduating from dental school he and his wife – Dr Theresa Bourke opened an office in a small shopping centre located in Unionville Ontario, located just outside of Toronto. Having a special interest in Orthodontics and Dental Implants Dr Erwood took a part time two year Orthodontic Course – The Canadian Straight Wire and Functional Orthodontic Program. As Toronto was selected as the first Branemark (Noble Bio-Care) training facility in North America there was a lot of interest in Oral Implantology and Dr Erwood pursed as much education as possible in this field. He is a founding member of the Toronto Implant Study Club and was the past president of the Ontario Study Club of Osseointegration. He is current president of the Canadian Straight Wire Study Club. After seven years in practice Dr Erwood and Dr Bourke relocated their practice to a Health Centre in downtown Unionville and were in a cost sharing relationship with another local Dentist. When that dentist retired Dr Erwood and Bourke brought in a third partner with a hybrid of the Lean and Mean Dental Office system first presented by Dr Rick Kushner. Dr Erwood has lectured across North America on topics ranging from Orthodontics, Dental Implantology and Practice Management. He has a special interest in Mini Dental Implants. When not in the office he enjoys spending time with his family (three children, 3 grandchildren) and pursing sports such as snowboarding, wakesurfing, tennis and hydrofoil kiteboarding.

Growing up in sunny Los Angeles, CA, Judy McIntyre wanted to become a dentist ever since she was a little girl. Kerry Maguire, DDS, MSPH is Associate Clinical Investigator and Vice President for Clinical Operations at the Forsyth Institute in Cambridge, MA. She serves as the Director of ForsythKids, a community-based prevention program serving over 2500 children in sixty sites throughout Massachusetts. Dr. Maguire holds adjunct faculty positions at Harvard School of Dental Medicine and the University of Washington School of Dentistry. She is also co-founder and chair of the non-profit Options for Children in Zambia. Dr. Maguire completed her dental degree at the University of Colorado School of Dentistry in 1988 and earned a certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry the following year. In 1993, she received a Master of Science in Public Health from the University of Colorado School of Medicine. She has experience in dental education and industry, having previously held positions at the University of Colorado School of Dentistry (1989-1996), Colgate Oral Pharmaceuticals (1996-1999), Tufts University School of Dental Medicine (1999-2003) and Tom's of Maine (2003-2009). Dr. Maguire is the general dentist representative on the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Board of Trustees (2014-2020). She serves as chair of the Better Oral Health for Massachusetts Coalition and is a gubernatorial appointee to the board of The Children's Trust, the Commonwealth's private-public partnership to stop child abuse. She is active in the American Association of Public Health Dentistry and other national and international organizations dedicated to oral health and health access. Cris started in dentistry at 18 working as a receptionist but she knew in the 6th grade that she wanted to be a dental hygienist. She began her career as a dental hygienist in 1992 and practiced for the first 19 years in Flint Mi. She took a leap of faith and moved her family to Hampstead NC to live by the sea, and it fit. Cris has a love for dentistry and after moving to NC she realized there were a lot of things that were turning people sour toward dentistry. She teamed up with her current boss and has helped him turn his 3 dental practices around with a goal to acquire 7 more. She is passionate about turning offices around and helping people love coming to work again. She strives on making a difference for others in their professional and personal lives with speaking, writing and mentoring.

Born in Maryland, Chris became fascinated by dentistry at an early age when he lost #8 in a family touch football game. After graduating from dental school, purchasing his own practice, and subsequently selling that practice and most of his belongings, Chris followed a calling to serve as a dental missionary in Cameroon, Africa for 5 years. It was on this mission where Chris learned the true value of providing legendary patient care, and the necessity to provide that care very well, and very fast. Chris often had patients lined up around the block for treatment, and if he could not serve them that day, they would have to walk miles back home, and return again the next day in hopes of being served. This approach of very well, very fast patient centered dental practice has proven to be a great differentiator for the company. Years after returning from Africa, Chris founded Neibauer Dental Care. Growing from 1 to 26 scratch practices from 2005 to 2011. The offices were located in Virginia and Maryland – and grew exponentially during the recession of 2007. In 2011 Chris sold these practices and eventually moved to live in Park City, UT where the winters are full of powder skiing and the summers are humidity free. Now he is on a mission in Utah to grow a dental corporation focused on delivering legendary patient care. The new corporation is Abundant Dental Care, and is 50 employees strong & growing.

Dr. John is passionate about access to dental care and the use of data to improve quality of care. He sees the democratization of data as a focal point in transforming the dental industry into areas of predictive analytics, machine learning and artificial intelligence. He spent 10 years as a population data scientist at the University of Toronto, and has owned and operated over 300 clinics during his private sector career over the last 10 years. He also founded Jaw Shield and ClearShape which were dental device distribution companies operating across Canada.

Dr. Neville has been treating patients successfully for over 12 years. He has clinically performed over 30,000 hours of treatment. He performs over 100 hours of continuing professional development per year to keep up to date with the latest techniques and technology. He is so obsessed with learning he now also runs his own Dental seminars company, Dental Events Australia to teach other dentists some of the latest techniques. He is a speaker and coordinator for the IAS academy. His area of interest is cosmetic dentistry. Brian Jankowski will be graduating from A.T. Still University in Mesa, Arizona on May 10, 2019. Afterwards, he will relocate to Salt Lake City, Utah, with his wife and three-year old daughter. He has joined Abundant Dental and is excited to begin working in the field of dentistry. Prior to dental school, Brian worked in medical sales. He was also two-sport Division I athlete at Weber State University.

Dr. Michael Wehrle graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1989, then went on to complete a GPR at Worcester City Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital. Immediately Dr. Wehrle continued to pursue his advanced training, including over 500 hours each in orthodontics and implantology. This allowed him to achieve the status of Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry very early in his career. While pursuing his Fellowship, Dr. Wehrle established his dental practice, HEB Dental Excellence, in 1994. Truly passionate about excellence in dentistry, Dr. Wehrle felt just as strongly about giving back to his fellow man so he also worked with the United Way to establish the Northeast Tarrant County Dental Clinic for the underprivileged in 1994 concurrent with opening his practice. He also went on numerous mission trips which lead him to helping to establish the Wehrle Implant ImmersionTM Center and Clinic in Puebla, Mexico. He uses this incredible facility to serve the local residents around the clinic, as well as offering the Center's hotel facilities to mission groups serving the area. Dr. Zachary Allmand graduated from Indiana University Dental School in 2005. Post-graduation, he served our country in the United States Air Force for 5 years, deploying to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. After fulfilling his service to our country, he purchased a dental practice, where he quickly learned that there was much more to running a successful practice than merely being a good clinician. Watching his father-in-law successfully serve as the President & CEO of a multibillion-dollar international corporation only further fueled Dr. Ryff's interest in business and executive leadership. Accordingly, Dr. Ryff then completed a 2-year business program, earning a Professional Graduate Certificate in Strategic Management from Harvard University Extension School. Alongside completing his business program and practicing dentistry, Dr. Ryff was also appointed Vice President of Business Development within the private equity DSO group that had acquired the practice. Jill began her dental career in 1992 as a Dental Assistant and Receptionist. At the same time, her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. Helplessly watching her mother suffer horribly with oral side effects from chemotherapy, she developed a strong interest in the oral concerns of cancer survivors. Jill earned her degree and became licensed as a Registered Dental Hygienist in 1994 and continued to pursue knowledge to help this very underserved area of cancer care. After losing her father to Hodgkin's Disease in 2005, she developed an enhanced level of motivation to act and do more. Jill created a volunteer program providing oral care kits with product samples and patient education at a local oncology department from 2006 to 2012. She earned a certificate in Oncology Management from the University of Southern Indiana. Jill and her husband are the owners of Side Effect Support LLC (www.sideeffectsupport.com), which is dedicated to helping cancer survivors manage short-term oral side effects and prevent long-term damage to oral health associated with chemotherapy, radiation to the head and neck, and some targeted therapies. Jill is a 2014 recipient of the Sunstar Americas/RDH Award of Distinction, a member of the Registered Dental Hygienist Advisory Board for the Oral Cancer Foundation, and has been published in several dental and oncology publications. She is a member of the American Academy of Dental Hygiene, the American Dental Hygiene Association and the American Academy of Dental Oncology.

Dan Gospe is the COO of dmi Networking, a company specializing in dental technology and HIPAA compliance. Dan's introduction to HIPAA began 15 years ago when he managed the trauma registry at his local hospital, where he found himself navigating the corridors to find a key to the shredding bin. Since then, his appreciation for understanding the reasons for HIPAA compliance, and how to effectively integrate them into healthcare operations while minimizing headaches has become a personal passion. Since then, Dan has conducted hundreds of in-depth risk assessments for both dental practices and hospital departments. Dan has also authored numerous articles on HIPAA best practices, and we are pleased to have him joining us today.

Samantha Cheetham is SDI's CEO and has been with the company for the past 17 years, mainly in sales and marketing. Samantha started as a sales rep for SDI in Australia, then became a regional manager for the company in California. Samantha returned to Australia in 1998 when she eventually became in charge of global sales and marketing. In 2016, Samantha became CEO/Managing Director for SDI.

Doctor Chiappetti is a native of Scottsdale and received his B.A. degree from the University of Arizona in 1980. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the prestigious University of Southern California in 1988 and has been committed to continuing education ever since. Dr. Chiappetti has concentrated his time and skills in learning advanced procedures and techniques in general and cosmetic dentistry. He has lectured and presented seminars on Smile Design and dental aesthetics.

Joe Fogg was an entrepreneur from a young age and has always been drawn to working with like-minded people. Joe spent 16 years working for start-up companies, as a senior executive he created and implemented go to market strategies, ensured success in strategic development and managed exceptional teams focused on sales and marketing. When he heard about the struggles dentists face when looking for talent in the industry and the challenges dental professionals face when seeking extra income and benefits he came up with the idea for onDiem.

Dr. Evan Rubensteen grew up in South Florida, graduating from MAST Academy in Key Biscayne. After high school, Dr. Rubensteen attended NYU for college, double majoring in Political Science and Religious Studies while serving multiple terms as class president. From there he went to Harvard University and obtained a fellowship to help impoverished children in Guatemala. Enjoying his work with children (and the warmer climate!), he decided to pursue a career in orthodontics and completed his residency and a Master's degree at the University of Florida.

Dr. Todd Bovenizer is a board-certified orthodontist and the founder of Bovenizer & Baker Orthodontics. He graduated from Virginia Tech with his Bachelor's in Biology and from West Virginia with his Master's in Orthodontics and Doctor of Dental Surgery. Dr. Bo is Past President of the North Carolina Association of Orthodontists and Member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the Southern Association of Orthodontists. He is part of Damon's Mentor Program. This allows orthodontists from the Southeast to visit the office and shadow Dr. Bo to learn about state-of-the-art technology and techniques regarding the Damon system. He speaks nationally for Ormco. Dr. Bo lives in Cary, NC with his wife, Megan and their three wonderful girls. Dr. Bo can be found cheering on his kids at the soccer field. He is also heavily involved in their school, Cary Christian where he serves as President on their board, and his church, Colonial Baptist.

Dr. Jonathan Cook is a cosmetic dentist who owns two successful practices in Fort Lauderdale Florida. He graduated from Nova Southeastern University in 2008 with honors and won awards in Prosthodontics, Implantology and was inducted as a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. He is a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education from implantology to botox and fillers to occlusion. He has been practicing dentistry for just over 11 years and has built his practices reputation on integrity, passion, teamwork and empathy. He has purchased 7 practices in the 9 years since his first practice acquisition in June of 2010, learning a ton along the way. Most notably, he has grown his business from $500K to $5 million in just 6 years. He attributes his exponential growth to the implementation of strong systems, keeping things simple, building a healthy culture with a stellar team, folding in old practices into his existing locations, marketing marketing marketing, and never letting his foot off the gas. He is passionate about priming his team for success, keeping his mind, body, and soul in tip top shape, giving back to others through charity and coaching, and balancing work and life.

For nearly 30 years Dr. Tripke has provided structured periodontal therapy training with the newest, most effective techniques available. His program is recognized in the industry as the pinnacle of soft-tissue management. A passionate, animated and empowering speaker, Dr. Tripke's educational programs have influenced thousands of general dental practices by enhancing the quality of care and dramatically altering the economic status of those practices. Dr. Ace Goerig graduated from Case Western Reserve University Dental School in 1971 and was their distinguished alumnus in 2014. After graduating he entered the Army and retired a colonel in 1991. Dr. Goerig has been in private practice for 28 years in Olympia, Washington. He has presented at every major national dental meeting and founded Endo Mastery, a coaching program for endodontists in 1996. Dr. Goerig's new book entitled "The Dentists 2019 Guide to Creating Personal and Financial Freedom" was written to teach doctors and team members the secrets of becoming personally and financially free. He has 2 free web sites to help dentists and their teams how to become financially free. (DoctorAce.com and DebtFreeDentist.com). He and his wife, Nancy have 5 children and 13 grandchildren and were married in 1969.

Over his career, "Dr. H" has developed and expanded more than twenty dental offices. His current Tucson- and Phoenix-based dental specialty practice, Valley Endodontics & Oral Surgery, consist of ten offices, making it the largest Endodontic/Oral Surgery practice in the Southwestern United States. In 2017, he and his wife Julie, co-founded the Scottsdale Leadership and Coaching Center, where they develop and enhance individuals, and teams' aspirations to lead others effectively through various facets of leadership training.

He then positioned with 3M Company for five years in the National Advertising Division and was the recipient of several awards for his sales and marketing performance throughout his tenure with 3M. He was recruited by The Center for Professional Development in 1992. While at The Center (CPD) for eight years, Mark analyzed over 300 dental practices in the Northwestern territory of the U.S. He helped to position dentists for a private care practice model. Mark is now the CEO and Director of Practice Growth at The Growth Into Greatness Institute, which he co-founded with Deb Castillo. While CEO, Mark's primary responsibility is to provide one-on-one coaching and practice development in areas of profitability, financial management and staff development. He also conducts small retreats for students engaged in the developmental process. Through his commitment to this work, Mark is passionate about helping others to achieve their own greatness, and to aspire to levels of growth and excellence they thought were never possible.

After receiving his Masters degree in Healthcare Management in 2011, Chris worked as a practice management consultant for nearly five years before starting his own dental staffing startup. Chris is fascinated by the intersection of startups, technology, and dentistry which is what led him to quip, where he currently works as the Dental Marketing lead. Elisa is a RDH who graduated from NYU with her degree in hygiene in 2015 and her bachelors in 2016. She practiced clinically in private practice in Phoenix, AZ for three and a half years. She now works for quip, an oral care company based in New York, as their Dental Community Manager.

Angela Snider did her undergraduate science degree from the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and went on to study dentistry at the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, graduating in 2009. She then went on to private practice in rural Ontario. In 2014 she moved to the United Kingdom and successfully completed the Overseas Registration Exam to become licensed with the General Dental Council of the United Kingdom. She then practiced in Medstead, Southwest England before relocating back to Canada in 2017. She is now practicing as an associate in Deep River, Ontario. Nicole Adams has practiced as an associate dentist for the past 10 years in both rural and urban settings in Canada. Prior to dentistry, she graduated with a BSc in Biochemistry, as well as a BA in Geography. She is a proud graduate of the University of Saskatchewan, College of Dentistry. Her practice experience includes full service family dental practices, allowing her to developed a love for treating pediatric patients and learning to really enjoy endodontics. Nicole is thankful for the dental mentorship of a few key principle dentists/owners over the past decade who have really taught her more about dentistry and life than any school or continuing education program could teach. As an associate dentist, she has been able to balance the work-life balance while supporting her husband to pursue and advance his career with the federal government of Canada. After graduating Dental School Krista Maedel went on to return to her home town of Kindersley, Saskatchewan as an associate dentist at Lifetime Dental. After 5 years of practicing as an associate in a rural setting she was missing the city life so went on to Associate in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan for 3 years. In 2016 after having the experience of practicing in both city and rural settings she could see the great value of working as a dentist in a rural community so she purchased the practice where she was an associate for the first 5 years after dental school. Then in 2017 she purchased Rosetown Dental which is another rural practice 45 minutes down the road from her first practice. She keeps busy working 2 days a week in each clinic and enjoys bread and butter dentistry, Invisalign and implant dentistry. Between the two practices she works alongside 4 other dentists and 30 other wonderful ladies! Lindsay Yaworsky did her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry at University of Saskatchewan (U of S) in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan Canada, she then went into the College of Dentistry at U of S. Upon graduation in 2009, she moved to Yorkton, Saskatchewan – a city of approximately 20,000. She became a practice co-owner in 2013 in a group practice. Their practice focuses on bread and butter dentistry and patient centered care. She encourages new grads to consider rural opportunities, as it's given her tremendous mentorship and opportunity to be busy from day one and practice all aspects of general dentistry.

Mc Nulty Memorial Award for the highest scholastic achievement. He has been elected to membership in Alpha Tau Epsilon - USC Dental School Honor Society, Phi Kappa Phi - National Society of Scholars, Omicron Kappa Upsilon - National Dental Honor Society, the Pierre Fauchard Academy - International Honor Dental Society, and he is a Fellow in the American College of Dentists and the International College of Dentists. He is currently an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry, and was the Co-director of Occlusion at USC School of Dentistry. He is also an Assistant Director in the Advanced Restorative Institute Dental Education Center, on the faculty of the Esthetic Professionals Education Center, and serves as a specialist consultant to the Graduate Prosthodontic Program at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in West Los Angeles. Dr. Ochi maintains a full time private practice in Beverly Hills with an emphasis on physiologic and aesthetic reconstructive dentistry. His patients include Academy Award winners, and some of the most recognized names in the entertainment business.

Dr. Sonny Spera- former Syracuse Orangeman point guard, graduate of University of Buffalo dental school was an associate dentist for 2 years then ventured off to purchase a practice from a retiring/injured dentist. He has grown that small rural office into 5 offices, 6 Doctors and 60 dental team members. They have their own dental lab onsite that does all Crown and bridge, dentures, orthodontic appliances etc… the offices are located mostly in the 607 area code of Upstate NY. The practice is called Progressive Dental and is a fee for service practice that provides all ranges of care from orthodontics to pediatrics to endodontics to implants. The tag line – "it's personal" fits their definition of how we want to practice, high technology but highly personal touch. They have been blessed to provide care for over 28 years to the people of the Southern Tier of New York and Northeastern PA.

He completed residencies in Hospital Dentistry and Dental Anesthesiology and is currently the only St. Louis area general dentist certified in Deep Sedation and General Anesthesiology by the Missouri Dental Board. He is a diplomate of both the American and National Dental Boards of Anesthesiology. Dr. Hoffmann is very active in organized dentistry. He is a Past President of the Greater St. Louis Dental Society and a member and chairman of various committees at the state and national level. He is a member of the faculty at Forest Park Community College and is on staff at Mercy Medical Center where he lectures to residents on anesthesia protocol. He also continues to educate his colleagues and their dental teams on safe oral sedation in their own private practice. In 1991, Dr. Hoffmann opened a state of the art dental facility that enabled him to provide dental services accompanied with Deep Sedation and General Anesthesia. He is dedicated to serving individuals with dental phobias; gag reflexes, the inability to become numb, medical, mental or physical disabilities, as well as young children unable to cooperate. Dr. Thoms was born and raised in northern Illinois. He received his Bachelor's degree from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 2008, his Master's degree (M.S.) in Biomedical Science from Barry University in 2009, and his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine in 2013. After graduation from dental school, he attended a three-year Dental Anesthesiology residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) which certifies him to provide deep sedation and general anesthesia for dental procedures by the Missouri Dental Board. He is a Diplomate of both the American and National Dental Boards of Anesthesiology and holds faculty positions at the University of Pittsburgh and Saint Louis University. Dr. Thoms has a primary focus in treating children and patients with special healthcare needs such as autism, cerebral palsy, down syndrome, and Alzheimer's disease.

Joseph (Joe) Jordan is the founder of JPA Dental Transitions. After establishing practice as a dental specific attorney, Joe saw that his skills in the legal profession could easily and valuably translate to the world of Dental Transitions. Now helping dental professionals through their practice transitions is one of the great joys of his job. Law remains one of his first loves and he continues to work and own Jordan Law Group to serve the dental community. Joe also greatly enjoys his time speaking to dental schools, round robins, and on national dental circuits around the United States. He is a proud husband and dad of two kids.

Mr. Bracken Killpack has been the Executive Director of WSDA since January 2015. Prior to that, he ran WSDA's Government Affairs program. Bracken has an MBA from the University of Washington's Foster School of Business and a BA in Politics from Willamette University in Salem, Oregon. Bracken and his wife, Kate, were volunteers with the United States Peace Corps in Panama from 2009-11. Dennis received his dental training at Loma Linda University, graduating in 1986. He returned to Tri-Cities and joined his father Robert in their Pasco dental office where they worked together till early 2010. Dennis and his wife Traci have two grown children and love being together with family for holidays. Dr. Bradshaw enjoys keeping up to date with the ever changing and advancing field of dentistry. This commitment puts him in advanced classes many days each year, which helps him provide his patients what really works and is worthy of incorporating into his dental practice. Dennis also enjoys being involved in organized dentistry and has served the Washington State Dental Association on numerous different committees. He is also a member of the International Seattle Study Clubs local chapter. Dr. Irwin is a Pacific NW native. After attending college at University of Utah for undergraduate studies and University of Louisville Dental School in Kentucky, he returned to Washington State to be closer to family and friends. Dr. Irwin is passionate about dentistry and is known to use vacation time to further in dental education by either taking courses or reading dental material. Dr. Irwin and his wife have five children. When he isn't working he enjoys playing golf, basketball, cycling, spending time with his family and friends and traveling.

As Director of Strategic Relations for The Dentists Supply Company, Michael creates and implements strategies designed to grow and improve the TDSC.com business as a benefit to members of organized dentistry. He deploys the TDSC experts and resources needed to empower dentists to gain more control of the costs of instruments and supplies, and practice dentistry on their own terms. Michael has spent more than a decade in the dental industry, including owning a dental consulting company. His professional experience includes working as a Regional Development Manager at Align Technology, as well as serving on its leadership council, and working as a Specialty Regional Director for Pacific Dental Services. In addition, Michael has both pharmaceutical and medical device industry expertise and has served on two national advisory panels.
