Dr. Glen Hanson received his D.D.S. from UCLA in 1973 and his Ph.D. in Pharmacology from the University of Utah in 1978 and completed a fellowship in Neuropharmacology in 1980 at the National Institutes of Health (NIH, Bethesda MD). He practiced dentistry full and part time over a 10-year period. Dr. Hanson is a tenured full professor of pharmacology and Vice Dean in the School of Dentistry. He was the acting director of the National Institute on Drug Abuse at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and recognized as a leading expert on the neurobiology of the psychostimulants. Dr. Hanson has given several hundred presentations around the world on his research, and program development related to drug abuse and the Public Health implications. He also has testified multiple times before the United States Congress and the State of Utah Legislature on issues of drug abuse policy and Medicaid dental strategies and is frequently interviewed by local and international press about these topics. He is a member of the State of Utah Legislative Advisory Committee on Drugs of Abuse. He is the author of over 240 peer-reviewed scientific papers, 13 editions of a textbook entitled "Drugs and Society" and has been awarded over $35 million in NIH (National Institutes of Health) grants to conduct research related to drug abuse and its treatment. Dr. Hanson has recently been involved in studying the effects of including comprehensive dental care as part of the treatment for Substance Use Disorder Patients.

Dr. Graham Craig AM, MDS, PhD, FRACDS is currently scientific advisor to Dental Outlook. He was formerly Associate Professor in the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Sydney and subsequently, Director of the Dental Health Foundation at the University of Sydney. His clinical interests have involved the use and evaluation of materials and procedures for minimal intervention dentistry as well as the use of metal fluorides in caries prevention. Dr. Lynn Hurst was born in Corpus Christi, Texas (1957), the middle of 3 children, to Reverend Chester Clive Hurst, Jr. and Dorothy Mae Owens Hurst. Dr. Hurst graduated from A.C. Jones High School (Beeville, Texas), in 1975 and Southwestern University (Georgetown, Texas), in 1979, with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) major degree in Biology and minor degree in Chemistry and was a research assistant for 1 year at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. In 1984, Dr. Hurst received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) with Honors (Omicron Kappa Upsilon) from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, Dental School. In 1986, Dr. Hurst simultaneously earned his Specialty Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, College of Dentistry and Master of Science (MS) degree in Orthodontics from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, Graduate College. In July of 2019, Christian Brutzer became president of Ivoclar Vivadent North America, taking over as long-time President Robert Ganley retired. Brutzer is also the global head for Ivoclar Vivadent Asia/Pacific region, and a member of Ivoclar Vivadent AG, Liechtenstein's corporate management board. He will maintain in those positions. A lawyer by education, Brutzer, who was born in Germany, furthered his experience during a post-graduate program in Japan. He has been in the dental industry since 1989, serving in various executive management positions in Europe, Southeast Asia, China, Japan, Australia and the USA. Kim Wright, DMD, MAGD is a 1989 graduate from Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon. Matt has a bachelor's degree from BYU, a masters of business from ASU and is a certified business appraiser. He has been engaged as a consultant by Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health. Matt is one of 20 Certified Valuation Analysts (CVA) nationwide who specialize in dental practice valuations. In the past, he has been engaged by some of the largest national DSOs and some private dentist-groups looking to sell or join private equity groups. On the topic of practice valuations, Matt has been engaged by dentists to provide expert witness testimony at trial and retained as a consultant by some of Arizona's top law firms. Amir Abolfathi is co-founder of uLab Systems. Dr. Seena Patel currently serves as the Associate Director of Oral Medicine and Associate Professor at the Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health at A.T. Still University. She is also an associate at Southwest Orofacial Group in Phoenix, AZ, limiting her practice to orofacial pain, oral medicine, and dental sleep medicine since 2012. She is a Diplomate of both the American Board of Orofacial Pain and the American Board of Oral Medicine. Dr. Robert Bryan grew up in Southern Ohio, appreciating the friendly people and surrounding community. He was originally inspired to follow a career path in the field of dentistry after giving a speech in high school. Jessica Ann Rickert, D.D.S. is the first female American Indian Dentist in the world. Dr. Rickert attended the University of Michigan from 1968 to 1975. In 1975 she established a private dental practice. From 1975 to 1982, she was the director of the dental clinic at the Children's Aid Society, a private agency for foster-care children in Detroit; there she initiated programs in preventive dentistry and orthodontia as well as providing general dental services. From 2007 to 2010, she has provided general dental services for the Department of Corrections of the State of Michigan. In 2011, she provided general dentistry in the Michigan Community Dental Clinics on a full-time basis. Currently, she is a clinical dentist at the Family Health Care Organization in Michigan. Dr. Jessica A. Rickert treats each patient with compassion, confidence, competence and kindness.
