Emmet Scott is CEO and co-founder of Community Dental Partners™ a DSO supporting the dental practices, Smile Magic Dentistry and Braces™ – a Chuck E. Cheese like dental practice for kids. His business partner, Dr. Chad Evans, has been his best friend since they were 2 years old. Emmet is also the host of DSO Secrets, a podcast focused on building the best DSOs and group practices in the industry. He created a Facebook group by the same name for leaders in the dental group industry to discuss some of the most difficult components of running a DSO.

Shawn Zajas is Founder of Zana, the electric toothbrush program, redefined. Shawn is also the cofounder of The Authentic Dentist – a company he started with his partner Dr. Allison House. At the core of The Authentic Dentist is the belief that the answer to the current challenges in dentistry, is dentists discovering that their greatest asset is their personal brand – and that forming that brand out of their authentic selves is the best strategy for success in dentistry today.

Jenn Rhoades is the CEO & Co-Founder of Smile Virtual. Born and raised in San Diego where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from National University. She has over 20 years of experience in Marketing, 10 of those being in the dental industry. Back in 2012 she joined the team at Harris Dental in Phoenix, Arizona and became their Marketing Director. She helped grow their practice and expand it into multiple locations. After years of working with Dr. Brain Harris and collaborating on innovative ways to attract and convert ideal patients, they came up with the idea of virtual consults. Jenn has been able to organically grow Smile Virtual from an idea on a whiteboard to a virtual consult software company helping hundreds of dentists do more of the dentistry they love. She currently lives in Phoenix with her husband, 2 kids and a yellow lab.

Dr. Robert James Bray attended the University of Maryland School of Dentistry where he earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery. Dr. Bray went on to obtain his Certificate of Orthodontics at the Eastman Dental Center in Rochester, New York, completing his M.S at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry with a major course in genetics. An active member of the community, Dr. Bray has served on Shore Medical Center's, Howard S. Stainton Society and Shore Tomorrow fundraising campaigns for over 16 years. Dr. Bray is the current C.E.O of the Schulman Study Group and AAO Foundation National Planned Giving Chair. He has served on the Brigantine Board of Education, including working as the president of the Board for eleven years. Dr. Bray continues to serve as an Associate Clinical Professor at the Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry in the Orthodontic Department and a visiting professor at the Eastman Institute of Oral Health, Rochester, New York. Chris Vranas, CAE, is the Executive Director of the SG Management LLC formulary known as the Schulman Group. Chris is well known in the orthodontic/dental space having served as the Executive Director for the American Association of Orthodontists for 17 years. Under Chris's management, the AAO grew from 9000 to 18,500 members with 90% market share and retention. Chris oversaw the fundamental changes impacting orthodontics during the early 2000's and prepared the members for a profitable future. Chris also worked within the Dental Specialty Group to bring the profession together toward a strong lobbying and working relationship with the ADA, ADEA and others within the dental and healthcare space. During Chris's time at the Association of Dental Support Organizations, membership increased by 15% and developed their strategic plan designed to be all inclusive of DSO's and small group practices and work in collaboration with traditional dental organizations.

Dr. Kwang-Bum Park graduated from dental college of Kyungpook National University in 1985 and received his PhD degree in 1995 with the thesis about 'the periodontal regeneration'. In 1993, he started seminars for private dentists to teach clinical periodontics and implant dentistry. Until now, more than 1,500 dentists completed this course in Korea. From 2000 to 2001, he went to the department of periodontics, school of dentistry, UCLA as a visiting scholar. After he came back from UCLA, he opened the biggest dental hospital called "MIR dental hospital" in Korea with 70 operatories and more than 20 dentists and 120 employees at Daegu, Korea in 2002. With great success of the first "MIR dental hospital", many dentists wanted to join and share the know-how and brand name. So he made a dental hospital network named "MIR Network". Now it has 22 branches and more than 1000 employees and doctors in South Korea in 2009. Almost at the same time with the opening of MIR dental hospital, he began a company called "MegaGen" to produce dental implants. In a short period of development, MegaGen took the leading position in the field of dental implant in Korea. He is an active member of Academy of Osseointegration (AO) and also an international member of American Academy of Periodontology (AAP).

Hillary's first job was in a dental office. Both of her parents were dentists and she grew up filing, sterilizing, mowing the lawn and answering phones at her parents' practice in the Twin Cities metro area. Almost every family vacation was wherever the ADA conference happened to be that year and has spent her entire life surrounded by dentists. After helping her parents with their transition, Hillary founded Pine Lake Dental Law & Transitions in order to help other dentists through the transition process among other legal struggles they may face including employment and business law issues and reviewing & drafting associate contracts. Pine Lake is now one of the fastest growing dental specific law and transition firms in the Midwest, participating in around 20-25 transitions per year in Minnesota alone. Hillary has spoken at dental conferences across the country, presented for podcasts and webinars and has written and contributed to several articles in dental magazines across the country including Northwest Dentistry and Dental Entrepreneur Woman. Hillary is a licensed attorney serving the states of Minnesota, Wisconsin and South Dakota.

In the early '90s, Frank Hammes joined the family business. After promoting an after-market cabin air filter the company had developed for Mercedes-Benz automobiles, Frank Hammes turned his attention to portable room air cleaners. Dissatisfied with existing products, he set out to build a line of portable air purifiers with medical grade air cleaning performance. Frank Hammes and a small team of Swiss and German engineers worked for four years on the project. In the spring of 1998, IQAir shipped its first HealthPro air purifier from its Swiss factory. IQAir air purifiers were initially available only in Europe and Asia, but became available in the United States in 2000.

After three years as an IT consultant at Accenture, Rick Cohen joined Benco in 1994 to create Painless, the industry's first windows-based e-commerce software. Since then, he's taken on increasing responsibilities within Benco, focusing on Information Technology, Logistics, Clarion Financial, and our private brand. He is Co-Chair of the Benco Family Foundation, a trustee of WVIA public television and public radio, and a Director of the Dental Trade Alliance Foundation.

Dr Kim Harms personal mission is to help dentists navigate the emotional issues they will face in life (and in the next year or so specifically). If she can help dentists understand that they can't control what calamities or catastrophes they will encounter in life, but they can control how they prepare, manage and cope with them. She spent 12 days in three hospitals with COVID symptoms and shares some funny stories about PPE use in different hospitals, life in the COVID ward and the different responses doctors had when the tests say one thing and the symptoms say another. She was a National Spokesperson for the ADA during the AIDS crisis and can relate lessons learned at that time about universal precautions developed for bloodborne pathogens to the future we face managing deadly respiratory pathogens.

It's a great honour to have Dr Howard Farran from USA along with Dr Agim Hymer from Australia, Dr Anil Shrestha from UK, Dr Abhay Lamba from India and Dr Neil Pande from Nepal to discuss various issues and the solutions to restart dentistry once again after lockdown. Rand is a pioneer in digital analytics and is a serial entrepreneur leading several IPOs and exits. He's the CEO/ founder of one of the first SaaS-based web-analytics companies, Keylime, acquired by Yahoo! And was CMO of analytics company WebSideStory through its IPO, now Adobe Analytics. Rand is also a co-founder of the Digital Analytics Association, and teaches Graduate analytics at well-known universities He graduated from University of the Pacific.

After Graduating from The University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio, Dental School in 1990, and completing a General Practice Residency at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut, Dr. Moser moved back to Houston. After 16 years in Private practice, In 2009, he joined South Texas Dental as the Dental Director for Houston and San Antonio regions. South Texas Dental, with over 40 offices, was the largest Medicaid providers in the state of Texas. Again, the philosophy was simple, "The Patient is the most important person in the practice. As the CEO and co-founder of Black Talon Security, Gary is dedicated to data security and understanding the latest trends in the industry, particularly as they relate to the healthcare field. He has a proven executive management track record and over 30 years of experience in software development and computer IT. Gary also speaks nationally on cybersecurity threats and their impact on the dental community. He has trained thousands of dental offices across the U.S. on how to maintain "best practices" in cybersecurity and has been featured in over 30 local and national publications. In addition, Gary has over 15 years as an instructor at West Point and he is also involved in law enforcement.

Dr. Kohut graduated Periodontology in 2007 from Nova Southeastern University. Dr Kohut is a board certified periodontist who has worked with over 300 offices since 2009. He helps general dentists get their offices to be specialist- ready to have specialists work there. Also, he trains dental specialists who want to make a practice as an in house specialist to be productive and very efficient. Dr. Kohut has been coaching other specialists interested in this mode of practice for years, as well as general dentists who are interested in expanding by bringing specialists into their offices.

Scott Becker is the Publisher and Founder of Becker's HealthCare and Becker's Hospital Review. He is a partner at McGuireWoods and a former board member of McGuireWoods. Mr. Becker also served as chair of the national health care practice at McGuireWoods for more than 12 years. He is a graduate of Harvard Law School and a CPA.

Connie White, DDS, FAGD was installed as the president of The Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) as president during its Annual Meeting in Chicago held November 8-10, 2019. Dr. White, who recently served as the organization's vice president, has a long history of advocating for patients, and brings life-long passion, leadership and educational focus to this national role. White is currently the University of Missouri-Kansas City director of patient relations and assistant dean for community relations and communication. She earned her bachelor's degree in chemistry in 1977 from the UMKC, followed by her Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1981 from the UMKC School of Dentistry. After graduation, White was named associate professor of dentistry at UMKC and has held many leadership positions there, including team coordinator, chair of the Department of General Dentistry, chair of the dental school faculty, and interim associate dean for clinical programs.

Since 1989, Stanley M. Bergman has been Chairman of the Board and CEO of Henry Schein, Inc., a Fortune 500® company and the world's largest provider of health care products and services to office-based dental and medical practitioners. Mr. Bergman serves as a board member or advisor for numerous institutions including New York University College of Dentistry; the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine; the Columbia University Medical Center; University of the People; Hebrew University; Tel Aviv University; the University of the Witwatersrand Fund; The World Economic Forum's Health Care Governors; the Business Council for International Understanding, the Japan Society and the Metropolitan Opera.

Petra Rumpf has a strong executive track record in the dental implant industry and 20 years' experience in growth management, e-commerce, operational turnaround, strategy and mergers & acquisitions. She joined Straumann in 2015 as Executive Vice President, Head Instradent Management & Strategic Alliances and moved into her current role in 2017.

Dr. Lang graduated from SUNY Buffalo in 1983. Prior to studying at Dental School, he attended SUNY Buffalo undergraduate and majored in Biology. He has been in private practice for over 36 years in Hamlin, NY. Jill Allen is an orthodontic consultant based out of Golden, Colorado who specializes in start-ups and working with doctors and teams across the united states who have been in a practice 8 years or less. Jill has been in the orthodontic field for 28 years and has worked in all areas of a practice, this allows Jill and her team to meet her doctors and teams where they are and help them where they need it the most. Dr. Dan Fischer is the founder and CEO of Ultradent Products, Inc., a dental manufacturer with a 30-year history of innovation and quality. Donald Chi is Professor of Oral Health Sciences and the Lloyd and Kay Chapman Endowed Chair for Oral Health at the University of Washington School of Dentistry. He is also Associate Chair for Research in the Department of Health Services at the UW School of Public Health. His research focuses on understanding and addressing children's oral health inequalities. He is a William T. Grant Foundation Scholar and was a Fellow at the Center for Advanced Studies in the Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University. Dr. Chi has published over 100 peer-reviewed manuscripts. He is Chair of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry's Council on Scientific Affairs. He teaches public health and clinical dentistry, and maintains an active dental practice treating patients at the Odessa Brown Children's Clinic in Seattle.

Gordon J. Christensen is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Practical Clinical Courses (PCC), Chief Executive Officer of Clinicians Report Foundation (CR), and a Practicing Prosthodontist in Provo, Utah. Gordon and Dr. Rella Christensen are co-founders of the non-profit CLINICIANS REPORT FOUNDATION (previously named CRA). Currently, Dr. Rella Christensen is the Director of the TRAC Research Division of the CR Foundation. Since 1976, they have conducted research in all areas of dentistry and published the findings to the profession in the well-known CRA Newsletter now called CLINICIANS REPORT.

Eric comes from a long line of dentists – His father was a Pediatric Dentist and his Uncle is an Endodontist. He's a dual citizen (Canadian – American), living in Chicago. graduated from the University of Toronto in 1989, did a GPR then moved to Chicago and Trained in Oral Surgery at Northwestern Dental School. He was an assistant professor at Northwestern and then became the Director of Oral Surgery at the University of Chicago Hospitals. (99-06) His interest in technology and innovation led him to become involved and exposed to start ups at several incubators in Chicago. He was exposed to Machine Learning and Artificial intelligence. This led to his current role as Chief Dental Officer in Denti.AI. Jeremy is a general dentist and currently oversees provider and clinical initiatives at quip, the oral health and subscription electric toothbrush company. Jeremy also practices dentistry part-time, sits on the Boards of healthcare and dental startups (including: Denti.AI, Floss Bar, PatientPlus, Verena Solutions, and Voyant), and is an angel investor. Jeremy has a 15+ year proven track record with startups through several successful multi-million dollar fundraises and acquisitions.

Dr Stefano Troiani was born in Tuscany and graduated in Dentistry from the University of Rome. After graduation, he opened his first dental practice in Rome. After 4 years, he sold his practice to finance his orthodontic postgraduate education at the Department of Orthodontics of the Royal Dental College of Aarhus, Denmark under Professor Birte Melsen. Dr Troiani is KOL for GC orthodontics and has held courses and lectures in over 30 countries in the last 10 years. Recently, he has started the GET project with the aim to provide open-minded, up-to-date and honest orthodontic education. GET project already has local speakers in 12 countries and 13 new countries are going to be add in 2020. Dr Troiani speaks 5 languages, is not married, has no kids and like to spend his nearly non-existing free time in the gym, playing piano and traveling.

Dawn Kulongowski, DDS is the owner and sole practitioner of a dental practice in Michigan, where she lives with her husband, daughter and 2 dogs. After repeatedly hitting a wall of personal and professional burnout, she met her teacher, davidji, and started a regular meditation practice. She was amazed at the level of personal change that came from meditating and employing simple mindfulness techniques throughout the day. Everything in her life changed for the better. Since then, Dawn has immersed herself in the study of meditation, mindfulness, emotional intelligence and communication skills. Cory is the CEO of CallForce, a dental solutions company dedicated to helping dentists across the country succeed in their practices. When he's not helping dentists out, he enjoys keeping active and loves to play golf and tennis in his spare time.

Dr. Croft was Utah's first American Dental Board of Anesthesia Diplomate and specialist in dental anesthesiology. Before earning his DDS at the Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Croft graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Utah. He completed a hospital-based, CODA-accredited, residency in Dental Anesthesiology at the Stony Brook University Medical Center and is licensed to provide all levels of sedation/anesthesia. He also is leading the charge in pushing educational offerings and standards in pain and anxiety management into the 21st century by heading a joint effort by the AGD and the ASDA to create a national, top-to-bottom curriculum and course offerings in all things pain and anxiety management. He is also Director at Large for the American Society of Dentist Anesthesiologists and the Dean of the Institute for the Management of Pain and Anxiety, also known as "The IMPA."

Dr. Delrose is a graduate of Case Western Reserve School of Dentistry. He then finished a Fellowship in Prosthetics before joining the U.S. Navy. His last duty in the Navy was as the branch Prosthodontist. He joined North River Dental, a private dental practice in Ellenton, in 1997. In 2017, he received his Fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Dr. Delrose is a member of the ADA, FDA, WCDA, MDA, AACD, FACD, ISCD, CAI, ICOI, AAID and the ACCD (Academy of CAD/CAM Dentistry), of which he was past president. He is also a Key Opinion Leader for Carestream Dental. He lectures for Carestream Dental, Colgate, Dental Learning, and has lectured on marketing a Dental Implant Practice.

Rod practices in Irvine, California. He graduated magna cum laude from Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Dentistry in 1978, and completed a GP residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. Rod is an exciting and effective international lecturer and author of five popular clinical and dental marketing books. He has authored numerous articles in, and is frequently interviewed by dental journals and consumer magazines; has appeared numerous times on the covers of several widely-read dental journals in the USA; has been featured six times on national tape interview series; has been a consultant to several popular consumer magazines such as People Magazine and has been a feature writer for Oxygenwomen's fitness magazine. He has been interviewed and featured numerous times in national media and was the personal dentist of the United States Men's World Cup Soccer Team. Most recently Rod has been widely known for his KöR® Whitening System.

Paul graduated from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, in 2019. Paul counts himself fortunate to be in a prosthodontic specialty residency based in daily mentored clinical practice at Monte Medical Center in the Bronx.
