DEATH PENALTY SOUGHT FOR PERV IN MEMPHIS-MOM-JOGGER MURDER

Tennessee prosecutors are seeking the death penalty Cleotha Abston, also known as Cleotha Henderson. He is charged with kidnapping and killing Memphis teacher Eliza Fletcher. Fletcher vanished while out on her morning run. Neighborhood video captured images of Fletcher being forced into an SUV. The kindergarten teacher's body was found days later near a vacant house less than a mile from the kidnapping site. Officers combing the area noticed footprints, tire tracks and “an odor of decay.” A pair of purple Lululemon running shorts matching what Fletcher was last seen wearing, was found in a nearby trash can. Abston, 39, is also charged with the rape of a woman in September 2021, but he was not arrested until after Fletcher’s killing because the state crime lab hadn’t gotten around to processing the sexual assault kit. Has Serial Killer Dennis Rader Struck Again? Part 2

When Dennis Rader, the serial killer dubbed BTK, was arrested in 2005, lots of documentation was found by the Wichita police: documentation in the form of his own writings, journals, and an unpublished book manuscript. The manuscript is thought to be a description of the murders BTK viewed as “successful." There were Polaroids of Rader dressed like his victims and in the “state” in which their murders occurred… bound, partially buried, or hanging upside down. The Osage County Sheriff’s Office investigators have poured over Rader’s writings looking for links to local unsolved crimes, and the information inside led police to search the property where Rader and his family lived. During their search of the property, investigators found " trophies" from at least one woman. Investigators also found chains apparently used for bondage, along with C-clips. C-clips can shorten chains or be used to secure a person’s legs or feet. We know that a pantyhose ligature was found. Other items found have not been described publicly. Natalee Holloway's Suspected Killer in U.S. Court Pleads Not Guilty

Joran van der Sloot's appearance in an American federal courtroom was short. It took the convicted killer less than five minutes to enter a not-guilty plea on charges that he extorted money from Natalee Holliway's mother. The Dutch national was one of the last people to see the Alabama teen alive during her senior trip to Aruba in 2005, and many have theorized that van der Sloot raped and murdered her. During the Holloway investigation, van der Sloot told mother Beth Twitty that he would tell her where her daughter's body was for $250,000; $15,000 was wired to a Netherlands bank account and van der Sloot was given another $10,000 through an attorney. Van de Sloot offered a location but later admitted the information was “worthless.” See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Long Island Serial Killer Links to MISSING SC MOM & 5 Vegas Murdered Ladies

The investigations continue after Rex Heuermann's arrest in connection with the Long Island Serial Killer deaths, and now, another new victim possibility is emerging. The daughter of a missing woman, Julia Ann Bean, says the last time she saw her mother, she was with a man who looked like Heuermann. Heidi Kovas tells our panel that the daughter is sharing her information with police today. Bean vanished out of South Carolina, around 100 miles from the property the Heuermanns own. Kovas says the daughter, after looking at a photo of Heuermann, "recognized him right away." Kovas says the daughter recalls Heuermann and her mother showing up at a nail salon where she was getting her nails done for her graduation. The man she identifies as Heuermann reportedly spoke to the then-teen, telling her that he had lake houses and boats that the girl and her friends could use to celebrate graduation. The man also said he wanted to marry Bean. Bean has been missing since 2017. Gorgeous New Orleans Coed Dumped 'Face Blue' by Uber Driver, LEFT TO DIE

University of New Orleans student Ciaya Whetstone enjoys her first Mardi Gras celebration with her friends and her boyfriend: She posts photos on Instagram captioned, "Well my first Mardi Gras parade did not disappoint." As the night progresses, Whetstone ends up at her boyfriend's house, and later in the evening decides to go home to check on her dog. She calls an Uber. Whetstone’s roommate is home and Whetstone introduces the Uber driver as a “new friend." She announces to the roommate her plans to leave with the driver. The roommate tries to get Whetstone to stay home, but she says she wants to go find her car. That is the last time Whetstone was seen alive. Around 6:41 a.m., a man claiming to be an Uber Driver brings a visibly ill woman to New Orleans East Hospital and drops her off. The medical staff says Whetstone is blue in the face and has dilated, fixed pupils. There are no other outward injuries. Hospital personnel try to revive Whetstone without success. The time of death is called about 7 a.m. The Coroner determines that Whetstone has lethal doses of fentanyl and ethanol in her system at the time. Whetstone's mother is still pushing for answers in her daughter's death. No one has been charged in Whetstone's death. Hospital Bosses Won't Believe 'Nice' Nurse Lucy Letby is Prolific 'Baby Killer'

Lucy Letby prided herself on caring for infants.  The neonatal nurse cared for the most vulnerable of patients: newborns. Then, the hospital noticed that more infants died in the span of a month than would typically die in a year. An investigation reveals that Letby had been the sole nurse working at the time of seven babies.  The child deaths span over the course of a year with, again, seven babies dying, while six others survived. Letby made babies sick by injecting intravenous lines with air, some were poisoned, and others were force-fed milk.      Letby preyed on twins and triplets.  Joining Nancy Grace Today:  Greg Ahlgren - International Attorney-at-Law at the US-MX Law Group, Ltd. & DRT Alliance/Diaz Reus International Law Firm Caryn L. All-American Teen DEAD After Nude-Pix Swapped: SEXTORTION

Jordan DeMay was a popular, well-liked sports star at his Michigan high school. The 17-year-old took his own life just hours after someone demanded money to keep a compromising photo from being sent to his parents and friends. The extortionists, a group of men from Nigeria who have targeted more than 100 children and adults, initially contacted DeMay over a hacked social media account, posing as a teen girl who enticed Jordan into sending a nude photo. The sextortionist then flipped the script, pressuring DeMay to pay to keep the photo private. The teen sent everything he had, totaling $300. The perpetrators wanted more. Police say the entire sequence of events appeared to have taken about six hours, until deputies responded to the DeMay home just after 7:30 a.m. The family is now hopeful Jordan will receive justice. FBI agents, with help from Nigerian law enforcement tracked down the three men behind the international sextortion ring. Samuel Ogoshi, 22, and Samson Ogoshi, 20, have now been extradited from Lagos to Michigan to face charges related to sextortion and Demay's death. Authorities are still working to extradite a third suspect, Ezekiel Robert. Spray-Tan, Dating Sites, AA Meeting? Trail of Clues in Hiker-Mom Murder

While many questions remain unanswered, new details are emerging in the murder of mom-of-5, Rachel Morin. We are learning that Morin stopped in a tanning salon she frequented before hitting the gym with new boyfriend, Richard Tobin. Tobin reportedly dropped Morin at home before she drove herself to one of two 'Ma and Pa' trailheads. In a now deleted Facebook comment, Tobin stated that he and Morin's children began searching for her around 9 p.m. and Tobin called in a missing person's report around 11:30 p.m. Employees at the tanning salon where Morin reportedly kept a "daily appointment" say that Morin would keep them updated on her dating life, and was still actively using multiple dating sites, despite announcing her relationship with Tobin online. Police may be looking to men Morin matched with as potential suspects. Police are also asking the community to submit tips on any information possibly related to the case. 5 dog walkers on the trail at the time of Morin's hike have been identified and questioned, hopefully helping investigators establish if Morin was alone, narrow down the timeframe in which the murder occurred, and find who did this to Rachel Morin.
