Newborn Girl Found Stuffed in Wally World Trash Dumpster
Decatur, Alabama, police get a call for a welfare check on 36-year-old Cindy Crow. WAFF reports a family member believed Crow to be eight months pregnant. Crow, however, looked like she had lost a lot of weight, overnight. The family member, a sister, told police that she had seen Crow leaving her home, with a large, white trash bag in the back floorboard of her car. In the home, bloody feminine products were found in the trash. Police contacted Crow at work, where she agreed to go to the hospital to prove that she was not pregnant. While waiting for the test results, Crow gave an officer consent to search her cell phone, where he found the app LIFE360. This allowed the detective to trace the route Cindy Crow took when she left her home with the white trash bag. Using information garnered from the LIFE360 app, detectives found a location with a dumpster, Wally World Mini-Mart. Investigators searched inside the dumpster and found the trash bag containing the deceased body of a newborn baby girl. It was stuffed in the bottom of the dumpster under several other large bags of trash. Cindy Crow was arrested and so far is charged with abuse of a corpse. MOM BLAMES DAUGHTER-IN-LAW for Grown Son's Stab Death on Florida Vacay
David and Cindy Rainey rent a cottage for the weekend along a canal in Suwanee, Florida, 140 miles from home. The couple's two adult sons, Bailey and Jack, plus a family friend, join them for the weekend getaway. On Saturday, David walks away from the home and doesn’t come back. Cindy and David Rainey reportedly got into an argument. David left, walking out of the house. He left his glasses, wallet, and cellphone behind in their rental home. The next morning, David still hadn’t returned. Cindy calls the police. An extensive search ensues and continues throughout the day without success. It wasn't until early evening that same day, that deputies found David Rainey’s body submerged in the canal in the backyard of the rental house. He had been stabbed multiple times in the chest and was still in the same clothes he was last seen wearing. Police say the body was placed in the water after death. David Rainey's death was ruled a homicide. It’s been more than two years since David Rainey’s body was found submerged in water and stabbed to death. Police have no suspects in the murder, but that doesn’t mean they’ve not made an arrest. The Dixie County Sheriff's office says three of David Rainey’s family members have been arrested. David Rainey's wife and two sons are all charged with tampering with evidence, apparently related to the dumping of Rainey’s body in the canal after he was stabbed. Investigators with the Dixie County Sheriff’s Office traveled to Bunnell, Florida, and arrested Cindy Rainey and Bailey Rainey, then traveled to Orlando, Florida, and arrested Jack Rainey. Cindy Rainey, Bailey Rainey, and Jack Rainey are being held without bond. In Florida, tampering with evidence is counted as a third-degree felony, with penalties of up to 5 years in prison, or 5 years of probation and a $5,000 fine. Police still have not released a suspect or a possible motive for Rainey's murder. BOMBSHELL! NEW EYEWITNESS: I HAD SEX WITH LONG ISLAND SERIAL KILLER
Four potential new witnesses have come forward with information connecting Rex Heuermann to the Long Island Serial Killer murders One of the witnesses worked in a bank during the day and drove a taxicab at night. She signed an affidavit that she picked up Shannan Gilbert from a Sayville motel, but when she got the order from dispatch, was told the person she was picking up was so afraid she was hiding in a locked bathroom. The rider would only come out if the taxi driver flashes her lights and beeps the horn. The cab driver says she showed up to the motel, flashed her lights, and beeped her horn but nobody came out of the motel. However, she did see "a giant man' fitting the description of Rex Heuermann come out of the motel. When the girl finally comes out, she is crying. The driver believes this person was Shannan Gilbert Another witness claims Heuermann and his wife were swingers, and Karen Vergata took part in a party at Heuermann's home. A third potential witness contacted attorney John Ray and says she remembers being picked up by Rex Heuermann. She says he threatened her with a gun. The fourth potential new witness claims she was a sex worker for many years, including the time the killings occurred. Timid Honor Student Son, 13, Stabs Mom Dead Sleeping With Infant
Derek Rosa is not your typical 13-year-old boy: He is on the honor roll with neighbors saying he is exceedingly nice and the model son. Irena Garcia, 39, just gave birth to a baby girl. So it was shocking when the teen called 911, telling the dispatcher that he snuck into the room where his mom and the baby were sleeping and stabbed his mother dead. As the operator talks to Rosa, he tells her he took pictures of the murder and sent them to a "friend." He also says he then deleted the photos. When pressed for the friend's name, Rosa says it is just somebody he knows online. During his call with 911, Rosa said he had a gun he planned to use to kill himself but decided not to. Derek Rosa was taken into custody and transported to a juvenile detention center. He was then moved to Jackson Memorial Hospital after he threatened to harm himself. Rosa was initially charged with second-degree murder, but a Miami-Dade grand jury found enough probable cause to indict the teen as an adult and up the charge to first-degree murder. GLAM YOGA TEACHER ON TRIAL NOW, Shocking 911 Call Just Played
After opening statements, witness testimony began in Kaitlyn Armstrong's murder trial. Mo Wilson's brother, Matt Wilson, answered questions about Wilson's professional cycling and what type of person she was. Wilson testified that Mo Wilson and Colin Strickland were not having a romantic relationship when she was killed. The woman that Mo Wilson stayed with in Austin and whose apartment in which she was killed, Caitlin Cash, said the same thing when asked about the Wilson / Strickland relationship. Caitlin Cash also testified on how she found Mo Wilson on the floor of her apartment bathroom covered in blood. The state also played the call Cash made to 911. Cash cried while the recording of her call was played in court. During ADA Ricky Jones' opening statement, he said Armstrong knew that Wilson was in town because the day before the shooting she looked Wilson up four times on a phone app called Strava that showed where Wilson planned to race and gave the address of the house where Wilson was staying. Jones also pointed out that Armstrong had used Colin Strickland's login information on her cell phone and looked up pictures of Mo Wilson. GLAM YOGA TEACHER ON TRIAL NOW IN LOVE MURDER
A jury has been set and opening arguments will be presented today in the murder trial of Kaitlyn Armstrong. The yoga instructor is accused of killing professional cyclist Moriah "Mo" Wilson. Wilson was in Austin to tackle the “Gravel Locos” race in Hico. As luck would have it, Wilson has friends in the area, so instead of booking a hotel, bunks down with her friend. The friend already has plans for the evening, but that’s OK. Wilson has plans of her own. She tells her friend that she’s meeting up with a guy she dated briefly, to go swimming, grab a meal, and catch up. Wilson's friend was also Kaitlyn Armstrong's boyfriend. During a brief period when Armstrong and Colin Strickland were separated, he and Wilson dated. It made Armstrong angry, to the point that she confronted Wilson, telling her not to contact Strickland. When Mo Wilson’s friend returns home from her dinner plans, she finds Wilson unresponsive inside the home. There’s blood everywhere and her friend is in the bathroom, lodged between the toilet and the wall. 911 is called. Police arrived to find Wilson had been shot multiple times, with a 9mm weapon, and it doesn’t appear the shooting was random. As the Austin Police Department investigates, they reach out to neighbors, asking for surveillance video. A neighbor’s camera, pointed at the driveway of the home where Wilson was staying, caught a Black Jeep Grand Cherokee driving past the house just one minute after Wilson went inside. In the meantime, police reach out to Colin Strickland, who agrees to an interview at his home. When the police arrived, they see a Black Jeep Grand Cherokee in the driveway... the same one seen in the surveillance video. It belongs to Strickland’s girlfriend, Kaitlyn Armstrong. Police begin to look at Kaitlyn Armstrong as a suspect. An anonymous caller tells police Armstrong said she wanted to kill Wilson and even bought a gun. On May 12, Kaitlin Armstrong was brought in for questioning but APD wasn’t able to get probable cause until May 17. When Armstrong spoke with homicide detectives, she couldn’t explain why her SUV was in the area the night Mo Wilson was murdered. Police release Armstrong. When officers try to talk to Armstrong again, she is nowhere to be found. Three days later, a video is released of Armstrong in Austin's airport. Investigators say she flew from Austin to Houston and then on to New York. Surveillance footage shows Kaitlin Armstrong flying into New York's La Guardia airport on May 14. On May 18, the day after a murder warrant was issued for Armstrong, someone dropped her off at New Jersey's Newark airport, but there’s no record of her taking a flight. US Marshalls tracked Armstrong to Costa Rica. She had used a family member's passport to get there. She had dyed her hair and had plastic surgery to change her appearance. After a 43-day manhunt, Kaitlyn Armstrong is taken into custody. Girl, 11, LURED OUT OF HOME BY GROWN MAN, VIDEO GAME ROBLOX
An 11-year-old girl’s brother thinks his sister is leaving for school, but it's 5:30 in the morning. Then the boy realizes that it's Sunday. He calls his mother, who is working overnights. Mom comes home and calls the Wayne Police Department. The mom tells police this is not the first time the girl has gone missing. A missing person's report was filed in June, but the 11-year-old returned 90 minutes later, telling her mother that she had met up with a man named Darius, whom, she had been talking to on the online game platform Roblox. The girl was grounded after the incident, and access to the online platforms was taken away, but as North Jersey.com reports, the mother now thinks the girl may have used other family members' phones to continue to communicate with 27-year-old Darius Matylewich. When he was contacted by the police, Matylewich denied knowing the girl's whereabouts. Finally, Matylewich admitted to picking up the girl and driving her back across the state line to his home in Bear, Delaware, 135 miles away from Wayne, New Jersey. Darius Matylewich is charged with first-degree kidnapping and third-degree endangering the welfare of a child. “MOSCOW MULE” Mom Poisons Hubby, Writes “Script” of Lies for Witnesses?
Kouri Richins' book on how to deal with grief isn't the only thing she's written. There's a six-page handwritten letter that's sparking debate, "the walk the dog letter." Prosecutors say that in the letter, Richins is teaching people how to lie about what happened the night her husband died. Her defense team says the letter was privileged information and wants the prosecutors to be sanctioned. It's called the "walk the dog letter," since that phrase is written in big letters on the top. In it, Richins makes the claim that her husband Eric was addicted to drugs, that he would make frequent trips to Mexico to get pills, and that his death was an accidental overdose. The letter was written to Richins' mother, and it reportedly tells her to instruct Richins' brother to make the connection to Mexico and drugs when he talks about the case. The question the court has to answer is, does a defendant attempting to help coach someone on what they should say on the witness stand, rise to the level of witness tampering? Prosecutors say it does rise to the level of witness tampering because there is no connection between Kouri Richins' brother and drugs from Mexico. The prosecution believes, again, that Richins is instructing people to lie. That is why the prosecution is asking the judge to disallow contact between Richins and her mother. A bicyclist spotted the injured 87-year-old on the street and brought her in. Gustern hit her head during the attack and was taken to a hospital for medical treatment. Perps Charged in LSU Coed RAPE ATTACK VICTIM'S REPUTATION?
Attorneys representing two of the accused in LSU student Madison Brook rape are asking a court to give them access to Brooks' phone data for the 72 hours preceding the alleged attack. They claim the defense is entitled to find out if someone other than the defendants caused Brooks' injuries. The intent is to identify whether Brooks could have had sex with someone other than the defendants in the hours before the alleged rape. LSU student Madison Brooks was killed after being hit by a car. Brooks was standing in the road at the time. Police say Brooks left a Tigerland bar with four men and is then allegedly raped in the car. When the inebriated Brooks cannot give the men her address, she is dropped off around 3 a.m. in a random neighborhood. That is when Brooks was hit by the car. Kaivon Washington, 18, and an unidentified 17-year-old minor are charged with third-degree rape. "I KILLED NATALEE" Joran van de Sloot Confession
An Alabama judge accepted Joran van der Sloot's plea deal, meaning today, after almost two decades, the Dutch national admitted that he killed Alabama teen Natalee Holloway. In his proffer, a document in which the defendant offers information about a crime, he reportedly told the court that Holloway rejected his sexual advances, so he hit her, kicked her in the face, then bludgeoned her dead. He then put her body in the ocean. The confession was part of van der Sloot's plea deal on extortion charges. He was accused of trying to sell information to Beth Holloway on the location of her daughter's body for $250,000. With his guilty plea, van der Sloot was sentenced to 20 years on the federal charges, which will run concurrently with his current sentence for the murder of Stephany Flores in Peru. Six Wives, Four Dead
Thomas Randolph describes to police how a handyman he knows, broke into his house, killing Randolph's wife Sharon as the couple returned home from an evening out. He says he came in from the garage, after his wife entered the home, to find her dead. He saw a man wearing a ski mask in the entryway. Randolph shot the man five times, killing him. Prosecutors told a different story. They alleged Randolph hired handyman Michael Miller to kill Sharon Randolph, so that husband Thomas, could get more than $300,000 in insurance money.
