SCHOOL-SHOOTER-MOM GUILTY: Ignored Son's Filthy Room, Cavities & 9mm
Jennifer Crumbley becomes the first parent in the United States to be found guilty of involuntary manslaughter for a mass school shooting committed by her son, Ethan. She was convicted of four counts of involuntary manslaughter and faces a maximum sentence of 60 years in prison. Prosecutors said Jennifer Crumbley knew her son was struggling with mental health issues. They alleged instead of getting him the help he needed, Jennifer and her husband, James Crumbley, bought Ethan the gun he later used in the attack. The prosecution also showed the Crumbleys were attempting to flee when they realized they were going to be charged with the crime. James Crumbley faces the same charges as his wife, on March 5. BREAKING: MISSING ELLA,14, HELD BY CONVICTED SEX OFFENDER 3 WEEKS FOUND
As the public becomes aware of Ella Jones's disappearance, the Mount Vernon Police Department receives information on a possible suspect's identity. The person was already said to be a male named "Keith" possibly. Investigators also determined that Ella Jones may have used a "RideShare" service when she left her home. RideShare services are not prevalent in Ella Jones' area, so Mount Vernon Police were able to narrow the search and locate a rideshare Jones may have used. Investigators identified a man named "Keith" who ordered a ride share for Ella and his address in South Haven Michigan. The FBI reaches out to Van Buren County Michigan Sherrif's department about a possible suspect named Keith Freerksen with an address in South Haven Michigan possibly being involved in the disappearance of a 14-year-old girl in Mt Vernon, Washington. Van Buren County Sheriff Daniel Abbott says his detectives investigated the possible suspect location and identified the car suspected of transporting the 14-year-old girl 2,000 miles from Washington to Michigan. After obtaining a search warrant, Sheriff Abbott says they waited for the suspect vehicle to return to the property before executing the search warrants. Sheriff Abbott says as the detectives watched the property, they noticed there were three homes on the property and several people were seen in the residences. The suspect was identified as one of the people in one of the residences on the property. Detectives coordinate with the local uniformed police officers in marked cars to roll in with them and execute the search warrant. Having executed the search warrant, all individuals on the property were separated so detectives could begin the interview process. The suspect immediately told detectives the 14-year-old girl was there on the property. Once the suspect was read his Miranda rights, he lawyered up and stopped talking The suspect is 30-year-old Keith Freerksen, a convicted sex offender. Sheriff Daniel Abbott says the Freerksen spoke with and groomed the victim online over an extended period before she took a ride share to the suspect's home in Michigan. Keith Freerksen was arraigned on nine charges: two counts of trafficking a minor, three counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct involving a minor, one count of first-degree criminal sexual conduct, one count of accosting a child for immoral purposes, and two counts of using a computer to commit a crime. He faces up to life in prison if convicted. Joseph Scott Morgan and Dave Mack will tell the story of a murder and why the man convicted of the murder will be put to death in a very unique way. Kenneth Eugene Smith was convicted of the 1988 murder-for-hire of Elizabeth Sennett. Pastor Charles Sennett recruited Billy Gray Williams to kill his wife Elizabeth and Williams hired John Forrest Parker and Kenneth Eugene Smith to carry out the murder. A week after the murder the Charles Sennett confessed to his family then shot himself in the head. Williams, Parker, and Smith were arrested and charged and convicted. Williams was sentenced to life and died in prison in 2020. Parker and Smith were sentenced to death. Parker was executed by lethal injection in 2010. Smith was scheduled to be executed in November of 2022 but the execution team was unable to connect the intravenous lines before time ran out. Just after 7 pm, on a September evening, Jacob and Mark Iskander, their siblings, and parents go for an evening stroll to a nearby lake. The 6 member family is crossing in a crosswalk at a three-way intersection when mother Nancy hears a speeding car barreling their way. 'HIGHLY EDUCATED BEAUTY' Sucks Bong, Stabs Date 108 TIMES IN 'POT FRENZY,' GETS ZERO JAIL TIME
Chad O'Melia and Bryn Spejcher are hanging out at O'Melia's home when a roommate comes home but goes to take a shower. He starts hearing noises downstairs and when he hears the sounds of things breaking, he takes a look. The roommate sees furniture toppled, the couch is flipped over and covered in blood, and O'Melia is severely wounded. O'Melia begs for help. Bryn Spejcher has attacked Chad O'Melia in a pot-induced rage. When police arrive they find Chad O'Melia dead from over 100 stab wounds, and Bryn Spejcher crying and screaming hysterically. The bloody knife is still in her hands. As officers try to disarm her, Spejcher plunges the knife into her own neck. Officers use a Taser and several baton blows before they can disarm Spejcher finally. Bryn Spejcher is charged with murder with special allegations of using a deadly weapon, a crime involving great violence, violent conduct that indicates a danger to society, and being armed with and using a weapon in the commission of the crime. Spejcher posts bail and remains out on bail over the next 5-years of delays to allow for hearings and experts to provide studies. Prosecutors reduced the charge to involuntary manslaughter after their expert psychologist agreed with defense experts that Spejcher was suffering from cannabis-induced psychosis when she stabbed O’Melia to death. When the case finally gets to trial there is no argument about whether Bryn Spejcher killed Chad O’Melia or if her psychosis was legitimate. During the trial, the LA Times reports, a medical expert testifies that Spejcher’s behavior is the result of cannabis-induced psychosis . According to the National Library of Medicine, a diagnosis of the disorder is given when hallucinations or delusions materialize shortly after consuming cannabis. According to the VC Star, Spejcher's defense attorneys claim that their client was "involuntarily intoxicated," and that O'Melia had allegedly bullied and intimidated her into smoking the last bit of marijuana. A jury finds Bryn Spejcher guilty of involuntary manslaughter in a killing triggered by cannabis psychosis, but Ventura County Superior Court Judge David Worley announced Spejcher would be sentenced to two years probation and a suspended prison sentence of four years. ALEX MURDAUGH JUROR: 'I WAS PRESSURED TO FIND HIM GUILTY!"
There will be no new double murder trial for Alex Murdaugh, even though one juror says her vote was influenced by comments made by Colleton County Clerk Becky Hill. According to Juror Z, “She made it seem like he was already guilty.” Hill allegedly made comments such as "watch him closely" and "watch his body language." During Juror Z's testimony, she was asked by Judge Jean Toal if her verdict was based entirely on the testimony, evidence, and law presented in this case. The juror answered yes. She was also asked if she heard Becky Hill make any comment about this case before your verdict. Again Juror Z answered yes, and that the comments influenced her decision. Prosecutor Creighton Waters that in her affidavit the juror had responded "I voted guilty because I felt pressured by the other jurors." After hearing all the testimony, Judge Toal ruled that the defense did not show that Hill's improper comment or question actually influenced the juror's verdict. TAYLOR SWIFT CREEPY STALKER WON'T STOP
A 33-year-old Seattle man arrested three times in five days at or near Taylor Swift's New York apartment. David Crowe's latest arrest came just two hours after he was in court for stalking her home. Crowe first appeared at the McDonald's two blocks away from Swift's New York City townhouse. Then a witness says Crowe eased his way back down to Swift's building and was seen looking in a dumpster. Then Crowe sat down on the loading dock a few doors down from Swift's apartment. Someone who recognized Crowe called 911. Police arrested Crowe on a criminal contempt charge, due to the fact an order of protection had just been issued during his arraignment on two counts of harassment and two counts of stalking. David Crowe has been in New York for at least the last few months. The New York Post reports prosecutors revealed that Crowe has staked out Taylor Swift's townhouse thirty times in the past two months. And his recent arrest spree began Saturday afternoon when police got a 911 call about a "disorderly person" trying to open the door to Taylor Swift's townhouse. This is not the first time Taylor Swift has dealt with a stalker. Last summer, Westerly Rhode Island Police Chief Paul Gingerella said a woman who had previously been warned to stay away from Taylor Swift's home in Rhode Island was arrested outside the beachfront property. A Florida man broke into Swift's home in New York City in 2018. He was sentenced to jail after pleading guilty to criminal contempt and attempted burglary. That was followed up in 2019 by an Iowa man who said he just wanted to meet the singer. He was arrested near her beachfront mansion carrying a crowbar and lock picks. A few months after that experience, a man from New Jersey was caught inside her home. BLOOD-SOAKED BRA, SHIRT, ZIP TIES In Trial of 'Other Woman' in Jennifer Dulos Murder
The Connecticut State Police believe Fotis Dulos attacked Jennifer Dulos at her New Canaan home, killed her, and then tried to dispose of the evidence in trash bins around Hartford. Michelle Troconis was with Dulos during the time he was dumping trash bags. Her attorney, Jon Schoehorn, says Troconis told police multiple times that she was on her phone, unaware of what her boyfriend was doing. The jury has now seen that recovered evidence, retrieved from the trash. Connecticut State Police Sgt. Kevin Duggan testified about what was found in the trash bins and the process used for finding them. He described how the items were taken from the trash bin, the contents spread out, photographed, and then placed into an investigator trash bag. The items were then taken for analysis. One of the items recovered from the trash bins was a bra with what appears to be blood stains. The bra's back clasp was still connected, but the front had been cut. A long-sleeved shirt is shown. It too, looks like it has bloodstains on it and has been cut in much the same way the blood-stained bra. Duggan also testifies that officers uncovered zip ties, plastic ponchos, a white t-shirt, a bath towel, black gloves, a screwdriver, and a box cutter, and all appeared to have blood-like stains. BABY IRIS DEAD After Daddy's JEALOUS MISTRESS Feeds Her Nail Polish Remover, Batteries
A 1-year-old child dies after being fed water beads, batteries, and acetone. Aleisia Owens, 21, the girlfriend of the baby Iris' father, has been arrested for intentionally feeding the child harmful items. According to police, the child died of organ failure, a result of acetone poisoning. The baby's mother first took the girl to the hospital, after changing her diaper and finding "water beads." Over the next few days, Iris passes about 20 water beads. She also passes 3 button-shaped batteries and a metal screw. After 4 days, the baby can go home with her mother. Pennsylvania Child Youth Services, CYS, inspects both parents' homes and, according to Newsweek, finds no issue at either residence. Iris lives with her mother full-time, but she continues to visit her dad at his house where Bailey Jacoby lives with his girlfriend, Aleisia Lynnae Owens. During a weekend visitation at her father's house, Bailey Jacoby goes to the grocery store, leaving Iris with his live-in girlfriend. As he prepares to check out at the grocery store, Owens calls Jacoby and tells him that something is wrong with Iris, she isn't acting like herself, and she is unresponsive. Jacoby tells Owens to call 911. Emergency responders note that Iris is breathing but with a fixed gaze and weak response. She's transported to the hospital and she dies four days later. The homicide investigation heats up when investigators discovered Bailey Jacoby's live-in girlfriend, the last person to be with Iris alone, Aleisia Lynnae Owens, had been researching online the harm that water beads and batteries can cause children before the child ingesting the items. The Attorney General's Office confirms that Owens also conducted online research into household items that could cause serious harm or death to children. Forensic extractions of Owen's cell phone show she searched online for topics such as, “If your child drinks a lot of nail polish remover, what happens,” “What happens if a baby eats nail polish,” “How many cases have there been from babies dying from eating nail polish.” Another search on Owens’ phone reads, “In how many cases have kids died from eating water beads" “water beads harmful" "Water beads near me" “Beauty products that are poisonous to kids” During the days while Iris Alfera was in the hospital as well as the day after she passed away, investigators discovered numerous online searches conducted on Aleisia Owen's phone for information on how to pass a polygraph test. SCOTT PETERSON WRANGLES NEW TRIAL BID IN MURDERS OF LACI & BABY CONNER
When pregnant Laci Peterson went missing, it was her stepfather who called 911, not her husband. When Laci's body was found four months later in San Francisco Bay, Scott Peterson became suspect number one. Prosecutors revealed he was having an affair with a woman who did not know he was married. Scott Peterson has always maintained his innocence, even after his conviction. His death sentence has been overturned and now Peterson is serving a life sentence without parole. Now, the Innocence Project is taking on the conviction of Scott Peterson claiming there is new evidence. As the Los Angeles Innocence Project says the new evidence raises questions about who abducted and killed Laci Peterson. They also claim Peterson's State and Federal Constitutional Rights were violated and have filed a motion seeking evidence from the original trial. Mom-of-5 Rachel Morin Raped, Murdered, Left Nude on Trail, STILL UNSOLVED EVEN W/ DNA
Months after the body of Rachel Morin is found along a trail the Ma & Pa Trail, her killer is still a mystery. DNA found at the crime scene matched to a home invasion in Los Angeles 5 months earlier, but investigators are still not sure who the DNA belongs to. The only evidence made public is a video of the man they believe is the suspect, seen leaving the home invasion scene in LA. But now, WMAR 2 reports that investigators are following up a lead in Washington DC. Police aren't calling the person a suspect, but the hope is this person can point them in the right direction. Morin's family is turning to all options in trying to bring this killer to justice. They are working with profiler Pat Brown to provide more information about the possible suspect in Morin's murder. The possible suspect is Hispanic and appeared to be in his early to mid-20s. He stands around 5 foot 9 and weighs about 160 pounds. Brown says this person is likely narcissistic, lacks empathy, is manipulative, and a pathological liar. The family has also created a flyer using still images from the doorbell camera footage of the suspect sending out 10,000 flyers to homes and schools near the LA crime scene. Morin Family attorney, Randolph Rice, tells CBS News the reason the family is reaching out to schools in Los Angeles is the suspect could have been in high school as early as two years ago. They are hoping a teacher who taught him and saw him every single day during the school year will recognize the suspect. THE NANNY KNOWS! Missing Mom Jennifer Dulos' Nanny SPILLS FAMILY SECRETS IN MURDER TRIAL
The long-awaited trial of Michelle Troconis got underway with prosecutors presenting evidence from the day Jennifer Farber Dulos went missing. The first person to testify in the case was Lieutenant Aaron LaTourette, New Canaan Police Department. He was the first patrol officer on the scene and the first person to notice possible blood in the garage. Talking to another officer wearing a body cam, LaTourette is heard talking about the possibility the vehicle hit a deer, but didn't see anything indicating there had been that type of event. The jury watched 20 minutes of the footage of LaTourette and Officer Black of the New Canaan Police Department walking through the home and focusing on parts of the garage where officers believe they see what appears to be blood stains on the floor and a black SUV. The officers are also seen looking through Jennifer Dulos' purse. The nanny, Lauren Almeida, tells police it is unusual for Jennifer's purse to be in the house when she isn't home. It was the nanny who called the police in May of 2019, the night Jennifer Dulos disappeared. Lauren Almeida has now testified about witnessing the marriage go from one of love and fun and trust to one of fear and intimidation after Fotis Dulos admitted to an affair. Almeida told the jury how she helped Jennifer Dulos secretly move her things out of the house over a while so as not to alarm Fotis Dulos. Almeida began as a part-time babysitter for the Dulos children in 2012 and eventually became their full-time nanny. On the stand, Almeida can tell the jury about the day Jennifer Dulos vanished. Jennifer Dulos dropped her children off at school and was never seen again. Her body has never been found. Almeida says the big change in the relationship between Jennifer and Fotis Dulos was during a vacation in March 2017. After a week in Aspen skiing in the snow, the family spent a week in Miami skiing in the water. In Miami, Jennifer Dulos tells the nanny, that Fotis Dulos is having an affair and she has proof. Almeida says she doesn't believe it at first, but over the next few months, everything changed. Jennifer Dulos has found receipts from when Fotis Dulos went to Utah on a trip with Troconis and another couple and emails confirming the relationship. Almeida is convinced to help Jennifer Dulos secretly move items out of the house because she fears what Fotis Dulos would do to her or the kids if she filed for divorce while they were living under the same roof. Alex Murdaugh Takes a Hit, Judge Bans 'Egg Lady' Juror to Claim Clerk Poisoned Jury
Alex Murdaugh’s three-day evidentiary hearing takes place later this month. The hearings will held in open court and court-controlled television cameras will be allowed. They cannot, however, focus on the faces of testifying jurors, who will be referred to by their juror numbers, not their names. The hearing will determine whether Murdaugh will be granted a new murder trial, after his attorneys, alleged jury tampering by Colleton County Clerk of Court Rebecca “Becky” Hill. Former S.C. Chief Justice Jean Toal is now the judge hearing the case. She took control of her South Carolina courtroom -, making several rulings affecting Alex Murdaugh’s bid. His attorneys say jury tampering by Colleton County Clerk of Court Becky Hill impacted the original trial’s outcome, and that according to Toal, will be the defense’s burden to prove. The attorneys argued the law only required them to prove improper contact with jurors had occurred. Toal says she will rule that, “Prejudice must be proved, not presumed.” Toal says the stand she will take on the specific evidence of ”what was said, when it was said, and how it impacted the jury,” lies with the defense, not an assumption on Becky Hill’s credibility. Toal told the courtroom that she would not allow the upcoming evidentiary hearing to turn into a trial of Becky Hill. Becky Hill is facing her own ongoing ethics and criminal investigations related to her conduct during and after the Murdaugh trial. The judge says she intends to limit the witness list to the twelve deliberating jurors and Becky Hill. An alternate juror and Juror 785, now known as the “egg lady” due to her insistence that she retrieve a dozen eggs from the jury room before leaving the courthouse, will not be allowed to testify. Toal says she sees “no necessity” to hear from anyone other than the (deliberating) jurors.” What's more, Toal says she will be the one asking the questions. Dishwasher Repairmen Find Starved Tot-Girl Horrifically Bound With Thick Duct Tape
Maintenance workers at a Houston apartment complex, get a service call for a non-working dishwasher. As they make repairs, a child can be heard crying, inconsolably, in another room. The workers find a toddler, lying on the living room floor under a blanket. Lifting the blanket, the 2-year-old child’s limbs are duct-taped together. The workers take photos and videos, leave the apartment, and call Houston police. Police take the girl to the hospital, where doctors say she might not have survived the night, had she not been brought in for care. KPRC reports the child was determined to be non-verbal and suffering from physical abuse as well as psychological abuse and neglect. Doctors discovered she also suffered a brain bleed caused by head trauma, anemia, and kidney failure as a result of the abuse. Even though she is two years old, the victim is so malnourished, and her weight is equivalent to that of an average 1-year-old. Child Protective Services meets with the adults and five other children living in the apartment. The biological mother of the 2-year-old girl lives in another state and left her daughter in the care of the child’s 27-year-old cousin, Toniesha Deshae Perkins. Perkins claims the other children living in the apartment often tie up the toddler and themselves. Houston Police interview the other children in the home. They say the girl sleeps on the floor and regularly removes the tape from her arms, legs, and mouth. The children say the toddler "gets popped" when she does, and a lock has been put on the refrigerator to prevent the little one from accessing food. Three adults living in the apartment, Toniesha Deshae Perkins, Perkins' boyfriend, 23-year-old Kenry Fluker, and the toddler’s 17-year-old aunt, Mya Jhari Breaux-McGruder, are now charged with injury to a child and unlawful restraint of a person under 17. SERIAL RAPIST 'Nic Rossi' Hides in Scotland CLAIMING TO BE IRISH ORPHAN, NOW IN UTAH JAIL
Nicholas Alahverdian’s obituary appeared on a memorial site called Ever Loved. It detailed how the man, who grew up in foster care became a Harvard Graduate and a vocal critic of Rhode Island’s childcare system after suffering sexual abuse as a child. It also detailed how Alahverdian died of Hodgin’s Lymphoma at 32 years old, leaving behind a wife and two young children who remained at his bedside as he died. Alahverdian’s death was a lie, an elaborate scheme created by Nicholas Rossi, a man charged with sexually assaulting a former girlfriend in Orem, Utah as well as multiple complaints against him in Rhode Island for alleged domestic violence. David Rossi, the stepfather says at an early age Nicholas would hit his mother, grandmother, and siblings, and wouldn't listen in school. Alahverdian was placed in psychiatric care. Nicholas Alahverdian, using the name Rossi, was accused of assaulting a young woman he met at Sinclair Community College in Ohio. The two had lunch together. Alahverdian offered to walk the co-ed to her next class. The coed claims Alahverdian then pinned her against a wall in a basement, groped her, and masturbated. Alahverdian apologized and asked the girl not to tell anybody. She made a police report and Alahverdian, aka Rossi, was convicted of public indecency and sexual imposition, and was required to register as a sex offender. Two years later, police are called to an apartment in Rhode Island. Officers can hear arguing and screaming. When a woman comes to the door, she has marks on her face neck, and left eye and her right eye is swelling. The woman tells police she and Alahverdian were arguing and when she tried to leave he slapped her in the face. Police arrest Alahverdian who proclaims his innocence and begins banging his head on the bars in the back of the squad car. Officers have to use pepper spray to make him stop trying to hurt himself. Alahverdian pleads no-contest to domestic simple assault. Testing reveals Alahverdian's DNA is present in a rape case, and other allegations have already been lodged. Fraud charges also land in Alahverdian's lap, and this is when he fakes his death and heads overseas. The death of Nicholas Alahverdian is met with skepticism. Alahverdian's foster mother Sharon Lane said she was contacted by Alahverdian's biological mother. The minute Sharon Lane read the obituary, she believed it was written by Alahverdian himself. Utah authorities continued investigating the first rape allegation against Nicholas Alahverdian and issued a warrant for his arrest seven months after he supposedly died. An FBI search of Alahverdian’s iCloud account and cell phone records led investigators to Scotland. As investigations were looking for Nicholas Alahverdian and Nichols Rossi in the United States, a man named Arthur Knight was being treated for Covid-19 at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow. He had been living a happy new life, married a woman named Miranda, and worked as a tutor, but then he suffered a serious case of pneumonitis, caused by Covid-19. Someone recognized him through his distinctive tattoos. They were a match to those from a Pawtucket police booking photo of him. In December 2021, they arrested the convicted sex offender in the Glasgow hospital. Authorities say Knight was just one of Alahverdian’s 16 known aliases, which include Nicholas Rossi, Nicholas Brown, Arthur Brown, and Arthur Knight-Brown. Nicholas Alahverdian fought extradition back to the US. For over two years, Alahverdian exhausted every legal avenue available in the UK. Ultimately the courts ruled he was a wanted fugitive and agreed to the United States’ request to send him home. Ethan Crumbley Parents Want Evidence Thrown Out in Their Involuntary Manslaughter Trials
School shooter Ethan Crumbley opened fire in a Michigan school, killing four students. He pled guilty to all charges and is now serving life in prison. His parents, James and Jennifer Crumpley, are also charged with involuntary manslaughter. Prosecutors say they should have been aware of their son's mental health and should not have made it possible for him to have access to weapons. The parents' trials are expected to begin later this month, but now Jennifer Crumbley has asked a judge to dismiss three witnesses who say their testimony could prejudice a jury. A judge has ruled, however, that two of the witnesses will be allowed to testify, with a narrow focus. The jury will also be allowed to see surveillance video from the school. DISGRACED JUDGE PULLS TRIGGER IN EXECUTION MURDERS
January 31, 2013, a 911 call comes in: the caller tells the operator that a man has been shot. Around 9 a.m., five shots were fired and seconds later, 3 more shots were fired. Police arrived at the crime scene swiftly and find the chief assistant district attorney for the Kaufman County Criminal District Attorney's Office Mark Hasse bleeding. No traces were left at the crime scene, not even a bullet casing. The only evidence is eyewitnesses. One witness said the shooter was completely dressed in black, and after firing the shots, jumped into the back seat of the white sedan and disappeared. Another witness, according to Medium.com, said he heard Hasse shouting loudly “No, no, I’m sorry.” Hasse dies. Just two months after, Assistant District Attorney Mark Hasse is gunned down. Kaufman County Criminal District Attorney Mike McLelland, and his wife, Cynthia McLelland, plan an Easter dinner for friends and family. Dallas police officer CJ Tomlinson is a family friend, and his mother is supposed to drop off vegetables for Cynthia McLelland to prepare for dinner. When she doesn't get the McLellands on the phone, she asks her son to check on the couple. Tomlinson and his stepfather go to the McLelland home. The front door is open and shell casings are on the entryway floor. Mike and Cynthia McLelland, both have been shot dead. One of the shots was directly into Cynthia McLelland's head. Tomlinson describes the scene as a "home invasion" style assault. Mark Hasse and Mark McLelland acted as prosecutors in former judge Eric Williams' felony theft Case. That history put him on the police radar. When officers checked his internet search history, they found that Williams had been actively searching for information on Mark Hasse and Mike McLelland. Documents were found on a white sedan, issued in a false name, and the login and password for an account that had been leaving anonymous messages for police about the murders were found, but there was not enough evidence to charge him with the murders. Then came a break. An acquaintance of Eric Williams’ says that he had been asked to rent a garage in his name. Police find the white sedan in the garage, as well as police uniforms, badges, weapons, and even homemade napalm. There were also more than 30 guns, but there was no weapon matching the one that shot the victims. And there was still one question to be answered: If the suspect jumped into the back seat to speed away from the crime scene, who was driving? Kim Williams was driving. She was Eric Williams' wife. She confesses to the police. The pair are convicted. Eric Williams gets the death penalty, which he has appealed repeatedly. Socialite Michelle Troconis Struts into Court, 'Was on Phone' as Lover Hid Wife's Bloody Clothes in 30 TRASHCANS
Jennifer Dulos and Fotis Dulos marry in 2004. Thirteen years later, the marriage fails, and the couple file for divorce. The circumstances are anything but amiable. Hundreds of motions are filed during the two-year proceedings. In 2017, Jennifer Dulos files for an emergency order for full custody of their five children. She alleges that her husband's behavior is "irrational, unsafe, bullying, threatening and controlling. She says she is afraid for not only her safety but the physical and emotional well-being of the children. Moving forward to the Friday before Memorial Day, Jennifer Dulos drops her children off at school near her New Canaan Connecticut home. She had an 11 a.m. appointment that morning, which she missed. No one hears from her for 10 hours. That night, Jennifer Dulos is reported missing by her family and friends, and the search begins. When investigators arrived at Jennifer Dulos’ home, blood stains were visible not only on the garage floor but garbage cans and a car parked in the garage. The car in the garage was not the Chevy Suburban the mom was known to drive. Police initiated a search for her vehicle. A little over an hour later and just three miles from the home, officers find the abandoned Suburban by Waveny Park. It contains blood evidence too. Back at the home, investigators determine that someone tried to clean the concrete floor. Officers canvas the park, hand out fliers, use canines, and do aerial searches. And most dramatically, perform video searches of local CCTV cameras. Surveillance cameras capture a man appearing to be Fotis Dulos disposing of garbage bags in as many as 30 receptacles in the area. A woman can be seen in the passenger seat of the man's car. Police recover clothes and household items with Jennifer Dulos' blood on it, in trash cans around Hartford. Specifically, the bags contained women’s clothing, plastic zip-ties, and a white T-shirt; all of the items were stained. Police also find a stained utility knife, a bath towel, and cleaning items such as a kitchen sponge. The woman in the vehicle with Fotis Dulos is identified as his live-in girlfriend Michelle Troconis. Police search warrants say Michelle Troconis identified photos of the surveillance videos as Fotis Dulos and admitted that she was the woman pictured. She confirmed multiple stops were made to discard bags, but she denies knowing what was in them. Fotis Dulos and Troconis, 44, are arrested, and charged with tampering with or fabricating physical evidence and hindering prosecution. They both pleaded not guilty. IDAHO STUDENTS SLAY: SICK GHOULS EYE DEMOLISHED HOUSE FOR "SOUVENIRS?"
As Bryan Kohberger’s defense team tries again to get a judge to toss out the indictment against Kohberger, the home where the four murders took place is now gone. The clapboard house located at 1122 King Road, Moscow has been torn down, with the entire front of the building razed from sight in roughly 15 minutes. According to school officials, demolition was set for during the school's winter break, when fewer students would be in the area. It took just 90 minutes in total, for the home to become a pile of rubble. The debris, loaded up by two contractors, was taken to a secret area for disposal. The site was combed for not a single item to be left behind for the curious to find and keep as a macabre souvenir. One local who wished to remain anonymous said 'They want nothing left for ghouls to plunder.' Some, however, are still concerned that the best evidence in this case is now gone. The home was scanned using 3D imaging to allow the jury to be brought into the home and take a virtual tour where they wouldn't have been able to go. The families of the four students killed in the house on King Road were not in agreement on the demolition. The Goncalves and Kernodle families issued a statement before the demolition, asking the university to wait to tear the building down until Kohberger's trial is completed. The Goncalves' family said through their attorney, that the house “has evidentiary and emotional value." In the statement, Goncalves wrote, "The family has stressed tirelessly to the Prosecution and the University of Idaho the importance (evidentiary and emotionally) that the King Road house carries but nobody seems to care enough." She adds that the “families' opinion isn't a priority.” The family of Ethan Chapin, who did not live there, offered its support for the demolition. In their statement, the Chapins said the demolition was needed "for the good of the University, its students (including our own kids), and the community of Moscow."
