DIDDY DONE? GRAND JURY LOOMS

Sean Combs' sex trafficking investigation is drawing comparisons to that of Jeffrey Epstein. Rodney "Lil Rod" Jones' accuses Combs of sexually assaulting him and other victims on multiple occasions. Combs is accused of luring victims onto a yacht he rents for trips to the Virgin Islands and sexually assaulting guests on the yacht. The Rodney "Lil Rod" Jones lawsuit alleges Sean Combs has an aide who plays a role similar to what Ghislaine Maxwell did for Epstein in helping procure potential victims. The Jones lawsuit further alleges there is evidence of the sexual assaults and sex trafficking as hidden cameras record everything throughout Combs' homes, which is why homes in LA and Miami were raided. While Sean Combs' estates were being raided, sons, King Combs and Justin Combs were detained during the raids. And now King Combs is speaking out about his detainment and the sex assault scandal engulfing his father on Instagram saying, "stop with the Cap" which is slang for "quit lying." The post is apparently in response to allegations about his father, but the somewhat cryptic message might also be directed at Sean Combs accusers. Riley Strain, No Pants, No Wallet, No Water in Lungs: NO ACCIDENT?

Even though the body of Riley Strain has been found, authorities are no closer to releasing his cause of death. His body was found submerged in the Cumberland River, eight miles downriver from where he was last seen. Strain still had on the white and black shirt he was last seen wearing, but his boots, pants, and wallet were missing. The initial autopsy report says no signs of foul play, but the family ordered a second, private autopsy, saying the absence of water in his lungs raises questions about whether or not Riley drowned. The family is also concerned that Strain was found nearly nude, wearing only his watch and a shirt. Pictures analyzed from the night he vanished show Strain had his wallet in the front pocket of his pants, and he was wearing Justins, which are square nose-style Cowboy boots. His body was found without the boots, pants, or wallet. Did Hollywood Brat, 35, DISMEMBER WIFE ALIVE?

On Tuesday, November 7, Sam Haskell IV hires a couple of day laborers to take three bags of rocks to the dump. The bags don't feel like rocks, they feel like meat. A block away from Haskell's home, the men open a bag. Seeing a belly button, the men returned the bags and the money to Haskell who claims they saw Halloween props. The workers go to the police to tell their story, but end up having to call 911 from the parking lot of the police station. By the time cops get to Haskell's place to investigate, Haskell is gone and so are the supposed bags of body parts. An investigation starts. The next morning at 6:15 a.m., a 911 call comes in from a homeless man who was dumpster diving when he found a headless body. The headless torso of a female identified after an autopsy, confirmed to be the wife of Sam Haskell IV. According to the autopsy report, it was a "dismembered torso with a single sharp force injury at the base of the anterior neck." No fatal injuries were found on the torso. The report further states Haskell's "head, majority of the neck, and majority of all four extremities" were absent and the "amputation sites" were "remarkably smooth," which suggests a sharp power tool was likely used. One of the most shocking facts found in the autopsy report is that Mei Haskell may have been alive when her head was severed from her torso. According to the autopsy report, "there was no definite indication that dismemberment occured antemortem." However, "the possibility that the head and neck removal was initiated prior to death cannot be entirely excluded." SQUATTER-NIGHTMARE-TURNS-MURDER: Woman Bludgeoned DEAD, Stuffed in Duffle

Nadia Vitel spends a couple of days moving personal items into an apartment in Manhattan's Kips Bay, and she is captured on security cameras going in and out several times on March 10. Vitel spends two days on Long Island then on March 12 she heads back to the Kips Bay Apartment. Vitel's son, Michael Medvedev, talks with her on Tuesday the 12th, but after the 12th, she isn't answering calls or returning texts. After two days of no contact, Medvedev calls police to do a welfare check on his 52-year-old mother. Waiting for the police, Medvedev convinces the building super to let him into the apartment. Walking through the apartment, nothing seems amiss, except his mother is not there. As they are walking out, Medvedev notices a duffel bag in a closet, which seems a bit out of place. The investigation into the death of Nadia Vitel starts with her injuries and the surveillance cameras in the building. Vitel suffered blunt force trauma to the head, multiple facial fractures, a brain bleed, and two broken ribs. Her body is found on Thursday, March 14. Investigators look back and find surveillance video showing Vital as she brings her personal items into the building on the 10th. Vital leaves the building just after 11 am on March 10th, and 19-year-old Halley Tejada and 18-year-old Kensly Alston, are seen trying to enter the building around 2 pm the 10th. 1 hour later Tejada and Alston are on camera in the building and seen on elevator surveillance camera entering Nadia Vitel's apartment. NYPD police chief Joseph Kenny says Halley Tejada and Kensly Alston were squatting in Nadia Vitel's apartment. When Vitel returned to the apartment on March 12, she confronted the squatters who proceeded to allegedly beat her to death, and cram her body into a duffel bag. Tejada and Alston allegedly through Vitel's personal effects and more in the trash, then left the building in her Lexus SUV. Using Vitel's bank cards, Tejada and Alston charge their way to Pennsylvania where they are involved in a traffic accident on March 13. Alston gives police a fake name, slowing the process of clearing the accident. Once Vitel's body is found on the 14th, her Lexus is reported stolen, and the US Marshals are able to track Tejada and Alston to Lower Paxton Township Pennsylvania where they are placed in custody. DIDDY DONE? FEDS Raid Sean Combs on SEX TRAFFICKING PC

Crime Stories with Nancy Grace: DIDDY DONE? FEDS Raid Sean Combs on SEX TRAFFICKING PCby Crime Online StaffMarch 27, 2024 Share Tweet Sean Combs, AKA “Puff Daddy”, “P. Diddy” and “Brother Love”, is credited with the development of several big-name hip-hop artists including Notorious B.I.G., Mary J. Blige, and Usher. But Diddy’s own music career is just as impressive, with 11 number-one singles, 14 nominations, and three Grammy awards. In addition to Combs’ label, Bad Boy Records, the rap mogul co-founded the network Revolt TV and hosts several businesses under the umbrella company Combs Global. At Forbes’ last estimate, Combs had a net worth of roughly $1 billion. On Monday, large teams of law enforcement led by Homeland Security Investigators raided 3 homes belonging to Sean “Diddy” Combs in Los Angeles and Miami as part of a sex trafficking investigation stemming from accusations leveled against Combs in 5 separate lawsuits brought against him. The latest suit filed in February by music producer Rodney ‘Lil-Rod’ Jones details frequent drug use, a shooting, and several accounts of sexual assault while working with Combs on “The Love Album.” In the 73-page document, Jones claims that Combs forced him to solicit sex workers and perform sex acts with them as Combs’ looked on. Jones also alleges the rapper threw parties he called ‘Freak Offs’, during which underage girls and sex workers were given laced drinks and assaulted. Combs’ son Justin, producer Stevie J, and associate Brendon Paul, allegedly supplied the women and drugs for the parties. The suit goes on to say that Combs’ access to major celebrities, athletes, and even British Royals, such as Prince Harry, gave him and his followers “legitimacy.” Two of Combs’ sons, Justin and King Combs, are seen outside in handcuffs while investigators carry evidence out of Combs’ $35 million Los Angeles mansion. The two men were later released and seen gathering belongings before leaving the residence. Combs was in the Miami area during the raid and was stopped at Opa Locka airport with family members and friends. Feds seized Combs’ phone while a member of his party was arrested on unrelated drug charges. The rapper’s current whereabouts are unknown. 'Rust' Armorer Convicted, Alec Baldwin Next?

Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, the armorer in charge of the guns in the film "Rust," has been found guilty of manslaughter in the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. Hutchins was killed when star Alec Baldwin fired a prop gun during rehearsal loaded with live ammo instead of a blank round. Reports say first assistant director David Halls picked up one of the three prop guns that had been set up by armorer Hannah Gutierrez and yelled, “Cold gun.” "Cold gun" is industry slang meaning the gun did not contain live rounds. Halls gave the gun to Baldwin who was using the gun to rehearse a scene. The search warrant said Baldwin was aiming the weapon at the camera when he fired, striking Hutchins and Souza. Reports have surfaced that the weapon was used for target practice by crew members that morning. Gutierrez Reed faces up to 18 months in prison at sentencing in April. Baldwin has also been charged. IDAHO SLAY SUSPECT BRYAN KOHBERGER 'ALIBI' WITNESS???

Brian Kohberger is facing an important hearing date in April, the reveal of new information on his alibi. Prosecutors asked last month for more information from Kohberger's legal team on a possible alibi. Judge John Judge, set an April 17th deadline for Kohberger's legal team to provide documents relating to an alibi. Last year, at least two possible alibis were set out by Kohberger's attorney. The first saying... it was Kohberger’s habit to go for long drives, alone, late at night. Defense attorney Anne Taylor later gave the court brief information saying, "Evidence corroborating Mr. Kohberger being at a location other than the King Road address will be disclosed pursuant to discovery and evidentiary rules as well as statutory requirements." Autistic Boy Sebastian Rogers MISSING: New Clues

Sebastian Rogers, 15, has not been seen for over three weeks now. Mother Katie Proudfoot reports the autistic teen missing after finding his bed empty in the morning before school. An extensive search began with authorities using helicopters, drones, search-and-rescue dogs, boats, and teams on foot. Schoolgirl Beaten into COMA by RAGING 'MEAN GIRL,' 15

Minutes after the school day ends, students from Hazelwood East High School in St. Louis County Missouri, gather to watch the end of a fight between two teen girls. Kaylee Gain and her alleged attacker Maurnice DeClue square off and DeClue quickly gets the upper hand, pulling Gain to the ground. DeClue pummels Gain in the head and upper body. As Gain is on her back on the pavement, a bystander tries to intervene by trying to get the unnamed girl off Kaylee Gain. The bystander is quickly rushed by two other girls who push her back from the fight and begin a separate fight of their own while Gain is being pounded by a closed fist to the head and upper body, DeClue proceeds to pull Kaylee Gain's head about two feet above the concrete, then slams Gain's head into the cement. The first hit renders Kaylee Gain unable to defend herself as her assailant quickly pulls her back up off the concrete and lifting her head further than the first time, smashes the head of Kaylee Gain back into the cement again. The sound of the back of her head hitting concrete is such a sickening thud, and observers realize something terrible has happened. The attacker, as well as those who have observed the beating, move on to other fights taking place while Kaylee Gain is left alone, unconscious on the pavement. As EMTs arrive, Kaylee Gain is convulsing. St. Louis Police stated a 15-year-old suspect has been arrested and is being held in St. Louis County Family Court on assault charges. The determination is still to be made whether DeClue will be charged as an adult. Maurnice DeClue's family says she is the victim and has been repeatedly bullied. Body Bags with Joseph Scott Morgan: Jealousy, Murder, Death Sentence - The Conviction of Christa Pike

Christa Pike was 18-years-old when she thought her 19-year-old job corps classmate, Colleen Slemmer, was trying to steal her boyfriend, Tadaryl Shipp. Pike spent over 30-minutes beating Colleen Slemmer with her hands and feet, as well as a box cutter and a meat cleaver. Slemmer tried to escape. Shipp,17, caught her so Pike could continue the beating. Pike carved a pentagram into Slemmer's chest, used the box cutter to slice her throat. When she didn't die, Pike picked up a chunk of asphalt and slammed it onto Slemmer's head. The next day Pike brought a piece of Slemmer's skull to breakfast and told classmates what she had done. Convicted of murder and sentenced to death, Christa Pike now wants a judge to vacate her death sentence. Fake Heiress Anna Sorokin: House Arrest 'MORE RESTRICTIVE' Than Prison

Fake German heiress Anna Sorokin conned her way into Manhattan society. Posing as Anna Delvey, a German heiress, she swindled banks, hotels, and friends out of more than $200,000. She forged checks to get money from banks and charmed people into paying for extravagant meals, and travel. Sorokin was convicted on a handful of grand larceny and theft of services charges. After serving her time, the 31-year-old was released from prison, now, fighting being deported, but again Sorokin falls on her feet. First, she landed a deal with Netflix for the rights to her life story, then began selling her artwork, and now, Sorokin says her home confinement and social media ban is “more restrictive” than jail. Sorokin is asking a federal judge to change the conditions of her house arrest. 12-Year-Old Girls Stab 'Bestie,' Leave Her for Dead, Now Say They're No Longer Threat to Society?

Two girls stab their best friend 19 times. Why? They wanted to appease the fictional horror character, Slender Man. Both girls serve time in a mental health facility. Anissa Weier was granted conditional release in September 2021. She was required to receive outpatient psychiatric treatment and was subject to GPS monitoring – though the monitoring was waived in September of last year. Now a Wisconsin judge will hear evidence in April to decide whether to release Morgan Geyser from the mental health facility where she’s being held. The 21-year-old Geyser requested conditional release from the Winnebago Mental Health Institute from Waukesha County Circuit Judge Michael Bohren back in January. This is similar to a petition that Geyser filed in 2022 for conditional release, but withdrew two months later. In the latest petition filed on January 16, Geyser is asking Judge Michael O. Bohren to consider whether she is no longer a threat to herself or others — a decision that will be based on a new round of medical exams. The judge appointed three psychiatric experts — one on behalf of Geyser, one on behalf of prosecutors, and the third as a court appointee — to examine her and produce reports on her current mental condition. Judge Bohren then set a hearing for April 10-11 to consider the reports and possibly rule on the release request. Evil Stepmom Claims Boy, 5, Never Got Off School Bus

Friday, March 3rd: Pamela Turner waits for her stepson to get off the school bus. When Justin Turner doesn't, the stepmom calls the school. The staff tells her that Justin was marked absent that day. The sheriff's office is called and deputies come to the Turner home. Justin Turner, 5, has been missing for hours. The search for Justin Turner includes multiple agencies and volunteers from the area. For two days, WCBD News video cameras follow the searches. Video shows volunteers side-by-side with police and sheriff's deputies, walking nearly shoulder to shoulder through fields, checking under back decks and sheds. The Channel 2 cameraman is filming as Victor Turner goes into a camper on their property, and quickly comes back out saying, "My son's in there." The body of Justin Turner is found hidden inside a cabinet in the pickup truck camper, parked close to the family home. An autopsy and forensic analysis are done on the 5-year-old, and investigators determine that the boy had been placed inside the camper shortly after his strangulation death. A forensic pathologist report indicates the boy died a short time after eating his last meal. The Berkeley County Sheriff at the time, M.C. Cannon says accidental death is ruled out. The coroner's autopsy report reveals the boy was sexually assaulted with some kind of cylindrical object, and strangled to death. The case is officially ruled a homicide. UNSOLVED: BEAUTIFUL JULIE NISWENDER FOUND DEAD IN TUB

Julia Niswender's roommates are gone for the weekend, but then one stops by the apartment on Monday to pick up some things for class. She heads out without seeing or talking to Julia. The next day the roommate realizes she hasn't seen or talked to Julia in two days. The bedroom door is locked so she calls security at the apartment complex to check on her roommate. The guard shows up with police, and using a master key to open the door, walks into Julia Niswender's room. It appears as if a home invasion has taken place. Calling out for Julia and getting no reply, the officer walks toward the bathroom door, finding a pair of white latex gloves on the floor in front of the bathroom door. They are twisted and intertwined with each other. Opening the bathroom door, officers discover Julia's lifeless, nude body, face down submerged in the bathtub filled with water. Her hands are pulled behind her back, her feet are together, and her cell phone is found underneath her body. Niswender's clothes have been cut off, except for a sleeve, and are left on the bathroom floor. Niswender's room looks like it has been tossed. Clothes are all over the floor of the room, drawers are left open, contents from a plastic organizer drawer have been dumped on the floor, and the contents of Niswender's purse is dumped out onto her bed. A black-and-white zebra-striped pillowcase is missing from a pillow, her keys to the apartment are missing from a lanyard, and police note that it looks like a home invasion took place, but wrapped Christmas presents, an iPod, computer, and tv are not taken from the room. The night her body is found, officers note how her mother is pacing back and forth at the police station, while her stepfather seems stoic as he sits in the lobby. The first of several red flags that led investigators to take a closer look at Jim Turnquist. Looking at Turnquist, the police ask for his laptop, and he complies, they ask for a polygraph, and he complies twice, and passes twice. Investigators consult with the FBI and are encouraged to take a good look at Turnquist. Turnquist is named a Person of Interest, and he is charged, and not in the death of Julia Niswender, but in child pornography. There are 300,000 pictures on his laptop, 7 of which lead to charges of child porn. At trial, experts testified the 7 photos are in temp folders and could have been pop-up ads, and you can't even tell the age of the people in the pictures. Turnquist is acquitted of the child porn charges. The murder case of Julia Niswender turns cold. BUSTED: Man Makes 'ACCIDENTAL CONFESSION' TO MURDER

April 23, 1993: the owner of Ajax Liquor store, Steve Weltig, is found dead on the floor on the floor of his shop. Investigators say it appears a struggle took place just before Weltig is shot in the head. Detectives work the case and develop a suspect sketch, but no real evidence leading to a killer is found and the case goes cold. The case is assigned to different investigators over the years. New leads are investigated, and evidence is collected. In 2015, reliable tips led detectives to Loril Harp. Harp's former wife contacted police and told them Loril Harp shot Weltig. She tells detectives she did not drive her former husband to the liquor store on the day of the murder. She was at home and when Harp came home that morning he immediately took a shower. She tells police her ex-husband tells her he just shot a man in an Arnold liquor store. A friend and former co-worker of Weltig's also tells Arnold police that Harp told him that he shot Weltig. Harp is brought in for an interview but investigators fail to gather enough evidence to seek charges for the murder. Twenty-seven years after the murder of Steve Weltig, another set of detectives take over the case. Looking back over the case file, they watch the 2015 interview with Loril Harp. In that interview, detectives leave the room for a few minutes. During the break, Loril Harp makes a call on his cell phone and what he says lights a fire under the investigation. Loril Harp tells the person on the phone that he is not under arrest, but "I probably will be before I leave here." The detectives recognize this as a near admission that Loril Harp is expecting something after all these years. Harp is brought back in for a new interview. Investigators Cpl. Brett Acklermann and Detective Corporal Josh Wineinger spend hours talking to Loril Harp. At 68 years old, Harp is in bad health and needs 24-hour nursing care. During his interview with the detectives, Loril Harp says he did not shoot Steve Weltig multiple times. Harp admits that he and Weltig got into a fight, and Harp says he hit Weltig a few times and left. Harp claims he went home and took a shower, right away. And the detectives begin talking about cleaning up the blood when Harp is asked if he had a little blood on him, Harp replies "I must have if I shot him." This phrase is all detectives need. High School Teacher Leads Class to CRACK SERIAL MURDER CASE

In 2018, Elizabethton High School student teacher Alex Campbell challenged his students to see if they could figure out if the Redhead murders are sometimes called the Bible Belt Murders. There were 14 unsolved murders with a similar M.O. Campbell gets help from a former FBI agent teaching the young people about profiling a case. The students of Elizabethton High School start to see a potential pattern emerge in six of the potential murders. In looking at the background of the murders, they started New Year's Day 1985, the body of a young female with reddish hair was found strangled, wrapped in a blanket, and tossed down an embankment off the southbound side of I-75 near Jellico, Tennessee. Due to decomposition, authorities believe she was killed about 72 hours before her body was found, 10-12 weeks pregnant when she was murdered. The identification of Tina McKenney Farmer of Indiana helped the investigation move forward quickly. The evidence from the crime scene was tested and a match was found. The DNA matched Jerry Johns, convicted in the 1987 attempted murder of a woman he kidnapped, strangled, and then dumped along I-40. Linda Schacke met Jerry Johns in a club in West Knoxville, Tennesee. The 36-year-old trucker seems like a nice guy until he pulls a gun, and forces her at gunpoint to drive to a wooded area off the interstate where he rips her shirt and uses part of it to strangle her. Johns then tosses the strangled and bound woman on the inside of a storm drain under I-40. Like Tina Famer and many others, Linda Schacke has red hair, Unlike the others, Linda Schacke survives the attack. When Jerry Johns was convicted of the attack on Schacke, he was considered a suspect in some homicides, but there was never enough evidence. However, even though Tina Marie McKenney Farmer was positively identified by fingerprint identification, there was DNA left behind in the blanket she was wrapped up in after she was killed. 2019, DNA evidence identified convicted kidnapper Jerry Leon Johns as the man who killed Tina Marie McKenney Farmer in December 1984. Johns died in prison in 2015. On December 18, 2019, a grand jury in Campbell County, Tennessee, ruled that Johns would have been indicted for murder in Farmer's death if he were still alive. The students of Elizabethton High School continue to investigate and believe they have developed some strong evidence that shows whoever killed McKenney-Farmer, probably killed Lisa Nichols, Michelle Inman, Elizabeth Lamotte, Tracy Walker, and even a still unidentified Jane Doe in Desoto County. PARASAIL NIGHTMARE, Mom DEAD, Husband: 'Fun is not worth a life'

An Illinois mom is killed and two children are seriously injured while parasailing. A storm blew in, affecting the stability of the boat towing the family. Now, the husband of a 33-year-old woman has filed lawsuits naming multiple parties. A preliminary incident report from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission says boat captain Daniel Couch,49, cut the towing cable when the parasail “pegged” in a high gust of wind, threatening to drag his boat. This resulted in the parasail and the individuals being drug “through and across the surface of the water” and slammed into an abandoned Florida Keys bridge. Boy, 12, Dead After Just 24 Hours at Wilderness Boot Camp, Found Without Pants

The parents of a 12-year-old boy think Trails Carolina might be just the place to help their son. Trails Carolina claims to be a Leader in Wilderness Therapy offering an Adventure Wilderness Program for children who have behavioral and or emotional difficulties. The parents say their boy is transported by two men from New York to Trails Carolina Camp at Lake Toxaway, North Carolina. Their son arrives at the camp in an agitated state. The 12-year-old is loud and disruptive, but he is assigned to a cabin with other children as well as four adults. In less than 24 hours, the 12-year-old boy from New York is dead. Sheriff Chuck Owenby says an autopsy is being conducted because the death "appeared suspicious" since the boy died at the camp less than 24 hours after he arrived. A counselor explained to investigators that the boy was required to sleep on the floor inside a sleeping bag. The sleeping bag is inside a small tent called a "BIVY." According to search warrant documents, around midnight the boy started to experience a panic attack. After the panic attack, a counselor told investigators that the boy was checked on throughout the night starting at 12 a.m., with additional checks on his well-being at 3 a.m. and 6 a.m. At 7:45 a.m., the boy was found dead. According to the search warrant, when investigators arrived at the scene, CJH was stiff and "cold to the touch." He was lying on his back, his arms were on his chest, and his "knees bent upwards toward the sky." Also in the search warrant, investigators noted spots of bleeding under the skin, "possible petechiae" in the boy's lips and eyes. This is considered a sign of asphyxiation. The warrant also notes a CPR mask was covering the boy's face and he was not wearing any pants or underwear. His pants and underwear were lying next to his shoulder Early in the investigation, detectives with the Transylvania County Sheriff's Office attempted to interview other juveniles at Trails Carolina when the boy died. However, camp staff members refused to allow investigators to interview or even see any of the other juveniles. Trails Carolina says the search warrant contains "misleading statements" saying they won't discuss some details "out of respect for the family and the investigation." In a statement, Trails Carolina says they did not prevent children from speaking to investigators claiming they asked parents for permission for any children involved to speak with law enforcement and state agencies, and "complied with each parent's preference. as we are required to do." Children were moved to the area to protect them from seeing what was happening, not to avoid investigators. In response to the recent suspicious death of a 12-year-old at Trails Carolina, North Carolina health officials ordered the removal of all children from the nature therapy program. Mason Herring tells his wife he wants a divorce but would look like a jerk divorcing her while she is pregnant. Catherine Herring still has hope for the marriage and believes they can work it out. During their Spring Break together, Mason Herring brings his wife breakfast in bed. Mason Herring seems to be getting excited about their third child and encourages his wife to drink more fluids as it is better for the baby. To that end, along with breakfast in bed, Mason Herring brings Catherine a glass of water with the food, insisting she drink it all while he watches. The water is cloudy but the dutiful husband promises it is just old pipes or slightly dirty glass. Catherine Herring drinks all the water. About 30 minutes after Mason Herring leaves for work, Catherine becomes sick, with painful stomach cramps, and diarrhea, and after her third trip to the bathroom realizes she is bleeding heavily. Herring goes to the emergency room where even after she is treated and sent home, she is still bleeding. After getting home from the hospital, Mason Herring continues to bring drinks to his wife, including a bottle of orange juice. The seal on the bottle is broken and a powder is seen in the bottom of the bottle. Catherine Herring doesn't drink what her husband gives her, but she saves it and takes the evidence to a private investigator. Surveillance cameras inside their home catch Herring putting a powdered substance from a bag in his pocket into a drink that he gives his wife. Catherine Herring retrieves the trash and finds a blister pack of Cyrux, a generic version of misoprostol, the drug most commonly used to induce an abortion. Catherine Herring meets with Houston police. Mason Herring was arrested in November 2022 and charged with assault with intent to force an abortion, assault of a pregnant person, and attempted injury to a child. He agrees to a plea deal; the first assault charge is dropped and the injury to a child charge is reduced to a third-degree felony. Herring will spend 180 days in county jail with 10 years probation.
