Body Bags with Joseph Scott Morgan: Evil Has A Tattoo Face - The Death of Two Women

Wade Wilson, not the superhero better known as "Deadpool" but Wade Wilson, Tattoo Face Killer. If Wilson has a favorite song it is probably "Folsom Prison Blues" by Johnny Cash for the line "I shot a man in Reno, just to watch him die". For Tattoo Face Wade Wilson, using a gun to kill someone is too impersonal. In this episode of Body Bags, Joseph Scott Morgan will explain just how personal it is to strangle the life out of someone with bare hands, and Dave Mack will go behind the tattoos and headlines to find out more about the victims of the vile creature capable of killing two women in a matter of hours, just because he can. Assistant State Attorney Andreas Gardiner in closing argument in murder trial of Wade Wilson: "This case was about killing for the sake of killing. Strangulation is the epitome of life slipping through someone's hands." BONE-CHILLING BRYAN KOHBERGER DETAILS EMERGE Part 2

A new book claims Bryan Kohberger is not a random spree killer, but rather, he had one target in mind the night he allegedly killed four college students in their home off-campus in Moscow, Idaho. Author Howard Blum claims investigators believe in a non-targeted attack, the killer would have stopped at the first door inside the house, and it would have been instinctive to go into the first rooms after gaining entry, but that isn't what happened. Investigators point to the two surviving roommates, Dylan Mortenson and Bethany Funke, as proof that Kohberger is after a specific target. BOY, 12, DEAD AFTER 24 HOURS AT CAMP, FOUND WITHOUT PANTS: RULED HOMICIDE

The death of a boy, who dies in his first night at Trails Carolina, has been ruled a homicide. The autopsy report of the 12-year-old says the cause of death is asphyxia due to smothering. Trails Carolina has the troubled youths sleeping in bivies that are placed on top of a thick plastic sheet that is folded up the sides in the form of a canoe. The mesh in the bivy being torn and replaced with the weather-resistant door secured with an alarm that would alert if someone tries getting out of the bivy. Counselors check on the boy during the night, but can't actually see him because of the door that is being used. The autopsy notes that instructions for the bivy sack readily available online warn against zipping the solid outer layer completely shut. When counselors try to wake the boy in the morning, they find he is cold and stiff. His body is turned 180 degrees from the entrance and his feet are near the opening, which the autopsy report says would have allowed the waterproof material to fall onto his face and head. The report also says the boy was placed in this compromised sleeping area by others and did not have the ability to remove himself from the situation with the alarm securing the opening. Standard protocol was deviated from due to using a damaged bivy and securing the outer weather resistant door instead of the inner mesh panel." 'THIS ISN'T RIGHT': FAMILY OF JOCELYN , 12, ERUPTS; TX GIRL LURED, STRIPPED, STRANGLED

The two suspects in the murder of Jocelyn Nungaray have made their first court appearance. The 12-year-old girl's family heard in harsh detail what happened to Jocelyn. Prosecutors say she fought like a superhero, fighting with her dying breath, leaving visible marks. Johan Jose Rangel Martinez and Franklin Jose Pena Ramos, tie her hands behind her back, bind her feet, take off her shirt, and abuse her for hours under a bridge in north Houston. Even though the police and the prosecutor believe Jocelyn was raped before she was strangled, the suspects are not charged with sexual assault as the rape kit results are still pending. The Harris County District Attorney, Kim Ogg, says they believe the evidence is clear that a sexual assault likely took place, but the defendants are not admitting yet. However, if the lab tests confirm that 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray was raped, the capital murder charge can be upgraded to one where they are death penalty eligible. In a dramatic court scene, a family member of Jocelyn Nungaray shouts "murderer" at Rangel-Martinez, while another shouts in Spanish, "I hope they kill your children." It has been reported the suspected murderer has two children. Currently, both Martinez-Rangel and Peña are charged with capital murder, and a judge has set their bond at $10 million. KILLER-SUSPECTS CUFFED: JOCELYN, 12, LURED FROM 7-ELEVEN, STRANGLED, UNCLOTHED IN CREEK

Billie Jean Jackson is driving past the creek near 400 West Rankin Road and sees what she thinks might be a mannequin. The image was lifelike enough to make her turn around and check it out for sure. Getting a good look, Jackson realizes, it is not a mannequin and calls 911. On Sunday night, Jocelyn Nungaray's mother, Alexis reminds her not to stay up too late as Jocelyn is going to work with her mother in the morning. Alexis tells Jocelyn goodnight at 10 pm and turns in for the night herself. A little later when she is certain her mother is asleep, Jocelyn sneaks out of the house and goes to a local convenience store. It is around midnight when she calls her 13-year-old boyfriend, who says he hears Jocelyn talking to some adults before he hangs up the phone. After talking to her boyfriend, Jocelyn is seen on camera at a local 7-Eleven convenience store. In the pictures, Jocelyn Nungaray is seen with two other people, both adults. It's possibly the same people with whom her boyfriend overheard Jocelyn talking. Around the same time Billie Jean Jackson is calling 911, Alexis Nungaray is preparing to wake up her 5-year-old son and 12-year-old daughter, Jocelyn Nungaray. Finding Jocelyn gone, Alexis reportedly pings her daughter’s cell phone location, which traces the phone to a creek near 400 West Rankin Road Alexis Nungaray arrives at the spot where her daughter Jocelyn's phone pings and sees police tape is up and police are canvassing the area. Alexis Nungaray tells police her daughter is missing, and she is there because this is where her phone last pinged. Officers take down information from Alexis, but it still takes an hour before she receives the call that a body has been found, and it is possibly Jocelyn. OnlyFans "Model" Stabs Lover Dead, NEW BODY CAM FOOTAGE

Courtney Clenney, the Only Fans model accused of murdering her boyfriend, is not the only Clenney charged in connection to the death of Christian Obumseli. Clenney's parents are facing computer crime charges. Prosecutors say the family illegally access a laptop, overlooked by police, belonging to Obumseli. Defense attorneys counter that the laptop may have been a shared device. A police warrant states thatClenney and her parents discussed potential passwords to hack into the laptop using as many as a dozen. In the meantime Clenney is still facing murder charges. No trial date has been set. Clenney was arrested on charges that she stabbed her boyfriend to death at a Miami high-rise. Christian Obumseli, 27, died inside the couple's apartment. An attorney for Clenney says that the 25-year-old “was a victim of physical, emotional, and mental abuse at the hands of Obumseli and killed him in self-defense. However in a newly-released video, recorded by Obumseli's phone Courtney Clenney is heard viciously berating her boyfriend, calling him a racist slur, and more. Friends of the couple said it was unimaginable that Obumseli could have been violent toward Clenney, saying while they had seen Clenney hit Obumseli, they had never seen him hit her. Three recordings, running between one and seven minutes long were provided in the discovery phase of the murder case against Clenney. Joining Nancy Grace Today: Brad M. CHEERLEADER, 15, KIDNAPPED, MURDERED FROM SCHOOL BUS: WHO KILLED LARALEE

Laralee Spear, 15, in her freshman year at DeLand High School, is over the moon after learning she has made the Junior Varsity cheer squad. Many other hobbies keep her busy--piano lessons, church choir practice, and volunteering with the Keyettes, a school service organization. Spear’s daily routine is to walk home from her bus stop on the corner of Deerfoot Rd and South Spring Garden. The ½ mile walk usually takes about 10 minutes. Laralee always meets her mother at home by 3:30 p.m., even if she stops to watch the neighbor’s horses. When Laralee is half an hour late, Barbara Spear calls 911 in a panic, reporting her daughter missing. Just 16 minutes after Barbara Spear was reported missing, Volusia County Sheriff investigators are on the ground searching for the teen. Air One, the Sheriff’s helicopter, is already in the air, and scanning the neighborhood for Laralee. At 5:35 p.m., the pilot spots a body, behind an abandoned home. A quarter mile from the Spear home, officers on the ground find Laralee Spear lying crumpled on a concrete slab behind the burned-out home, shot to death. Laralee Spear is found lying in a pool of her blood, shot in the back of the head three times. Spear’s hands had been tied together and much of her clothing was missing or torn away. Spear has bruising across her body, leading investigators to believe she was beaten. It appears Spear’s attacker attempted to assault her sexually, and the teen fought back in her final moments. Remnants of Spear’s clothing are found scattered along Deerfoot Road in the days after her death. Detectives believe Laralee only made it about 200 yards from the bus stop when she was attacked and abducted. They estimate Laralee was dead within 25 minutes of getting off the bus. Officers from the Ormond Beach Police Department join Volusia County Sheriffs to canvass Spear’s neighborhood for a week. Over 1,000 tips are collected in the month following Laralee’s murder, and police learn a group of people were hanging out and shooting guns at the burned-down home where the body is found. Neighbors also report seeing a dark-colored truck near the crime scene. Who killed Laralee? TRAIL-MOM RACHEL MORIN'S BLUDGEON-KILLER BUSTED: MOM BREAKS SILENCE

Emotions are running high for the loved ones of Rachel Morin after police locate and arrest Victor Antonio Martinez Hernandez. The suspect in Rachel Morin's brutal murder is found casually sitting in a Tulsa, Oklahoma bar. During the arrest, Hernandez initially lies to authorities about his true identity and denies any knowledge of the attack on a 9-year-old little girl in Los Angeles and the murder of Morin. The Morin family and investigators strongly believe that the two known crimes are not the only ones Victor Hernandez committed while in the U.S. The attack on a little girl and her mother in L.A. came just two months after Hernandez allegedly murdered a woman in his native El Salvador. Rachel Morin’s body was found nearly five months later, and another 10 months passed before Hernandez’s arrest. More than a year of Hernandez’s time in the U.S. is still unaccounted for. While there is a sense of closure, Morin’s sister, Rebekah, says it also feels like "day one all over again." Matt McMahon, the father of Morin’s eldest daughter, says the Ma and Pa trail feels like it ‘belongs to Rachel again,’ and is even more grateful for the arrest as their daughter, Faye, is now expecting her own little girl later this year. McMahon describes the news as bittersweet, knowing how excited Rachel Morin would be to learn she was going to be a grandmother. Chelsea Grimm attends Pace University in New York to study psychology. She graduates with a master's degree in social work. Putting her degree to good use, she works for the New York City Department of Education as a social worker. Chelsea Grimm makes a change, heading to the West Coast, and settling in Ocean Beach, California. Chelsea making plans to meet her parents at a wedding in Connecticut, but when she can't find an airline that will let her fly with her pet Bearded Dragon, Chelsea decides to make it a road trip, using the travel to take photos of forgotten soldiers and other special people at cemeteries across the country. On September 24, Chelsea Grimm leaves San Diego and heads for Connecticut. Three days into her cross-country trip, Grimm arrives in Phoenix, Arizona, where she meets her sister and a friend. Grimm makes plans to meet the same friend for lunch the next day but cancels the plans. On that same day, she stops at a motel in Seligman, about 160 miles north of Phoenix. The clerk says Grimm seems confused as she tries to book a room, exchanging Euros instead of US Currency. She mentions wanting to be "off-grid" and asks if there are any places in town that would exchange Euros. From a motel in Seligman, Arizona, Chelsea Grimm calls her parents and tells them she isn't going to make it to Connecticut on time for the wedding, the trip is taking too long. She tells them she is going to camp out nearby for a couple of days and head back home to San Diego. The next day, September 28, Grimm leaves the motel and heads 40 miles east to a war memorial cemetery in Williams, Arizona. Williams police are alerted to a suspicious vehicle and when the officer checks, he finds Chelsea Grimm seated in her car, crying. She tells the officer she gets emotional taking photos for a lost soldier project and doesn't want to drive while crying. The officer spends nearly 9 minutes with Grimm and asks if she has a hotel room for the night. She says she is going to camp and the officer directs her not to camp in the city, but she can sleep at Love's Truck Stop nearby, he tells her she won't be bothered there Two days after talking to the police officer in Williams, Arizona, Grimm finds herself 19 miles west of Williams Ash Fork, Arizona. She is camping out in her Ford Focus SUV. A local woodcutter sees Grimm and talks to her for a few minutes, saying she isn't in distress or need of help. It is September 30. The woodcutter in Ash Fork, Arizona, is the last person to see Chelsea Grimm. Grimm's parents report her missing on October 4. The next day, her 2019 White Ford Escape SUV is found abandoned on the side of the road with two flat tires in the middle of Forest Service Road 6 in the Kaibad National Forest, northeast of Ash Fork. Inside the vehicle, all of Chelsea Grimm's personal belongings such as her wallet, driver's license, clothes, sleeping bag, and her bearded dragon are gone. Police say there is no evidence of foul play The area where Grimm's locked SUV is found is an area popular with hunters and loggers. An extensive search is conducted of a 3-mile radius around where her car is discovered. Her family believes that due to the intensity of the search, if Chelsea is in the area, she will be found. MADDIE, 13, SEAT-BUCKLED DEAD INTO CAR OF MOMMY'S LOVER

The day Madeline Soto vanished, her mother, Jennifer, writes in a sworn statement that she saw her daughter getting ready for school that morning. In a later interview, Jennifer Soto instead says she heard someone in the kitchen. She assumes it's Madeline, but that isn't the only change in the mother's story. Jennifer finally tells investigators she last saw her 13-year-old daughter the night before, when she sent Madeline to another bedroom with Stephan Sterns. According to Mom, this is a common arrangement when she needs to get a good night's sleep. Early in the investigation, Stephan Sterns was a person of interest. The day Madeline Soto is reported missing, investigators allegedly found 1,700 sexually explicit images on Sterns's cell phone. Investigators have also said they found images and video on Sterns’ phone showing he molested her for years. Initially, Stephan Sterns tells investigators he drops the girl off near Hunter's Creek Middle School. However, around that same time, investigators say a license plate reader detected Sterns's car miles away from the school. Using data from license plate readers and surveillance video, investigators track Sterns's car as it travels east from Kissimmee toward St. Cloud and Old Hickory Tree Road, where Madeline Soto's body is found lying face down near bamboo trees covered in debris. Investigators obtain surveillance video from the morning Madeline Soto is reported missing a trash compactor where a tread from Stephan Sterns's car is found as well as items belonging to Madeline Soto, like her black backpack. Sterns is caught on video throwing these objects in the trash compactor. Minutes later, Sterns is caught on surveillance video at 7:36 a.m. driving away from the Kissimmee, Florida neighborhood with a female in the front passenger seat. Investigators believe the female seen at 7:36 a.m. in the surveillance video in the front passenger seat of Stephan Sterns's vehicle is Madeline Soto's dead body propped up and buckled into the seat to appear as a living person, but closer inspection of the video shows her head leaning toward her shoulder with her mouth open. Sterns is caught on surveillance video again at 8:19 am when he is seen entering the front security gate of the neighborhood with a female, in the same position as the surveillance video. Stephan Sterns's car is seen on surveillance footage again, this time turning into the parking garage of Holiday Inn Club Vacations in Orlando. He drives to the top level of the parking garage and gets out of his car around 9:42 a.m. A man matching Sterns's description is seen allegedly opening the trunk, walking around to the passenger seat, opening the door, and carrying what appears to be a "limp female body" to the trunk of the vehicle. At 9:44 a.m. the vehicle is seen on surveillance video leaving the parking garage and driving away. The Florida State Attorney's office release more than 900 pages of information showing how investigators, using surveillance videos and license plate readers tracked Stephan Sterns leaving an apartment complex in Kissimmee on the morning of February 26, and driving to an area of St. Cloud where Madeline Soto's body is found four days later. It remains unclear as to how Madeline Soto died. The Orange-Osceola State Attorney’s Office announced that it filed 60 counts against Sterns, including: Eight counts of Sexual Battery on a Child Under 12 Five counts of Sexual Battery with a Child, 12-18 Seven counts of Lewd or Lascivious Molestation 40 counts of Unlawful Possession of Materials Depicting Sexual Performance by a Child, 10 or More Stephan Sterns will face the death penalty if convicted of the murder of Madeline Soto. Suspected Portland Serial Killer Stands Silent in Court

Jesse Lee Calhoun has been indicted on second-degree murder, charged in the death of 24-year-old Charity Lynn Perry, 31-year-old Bridget Leann Webster, and 32-year-old Joanna Speaks. Prosecutors say they’re still investigating the deaths of at least two additional women, Kristin Smith and Ashley Real. He’s also facing three charges of second-degree abuse of a corpse. All three women were found dead under suspicious circumstances in wooded or secluded areas around Portland last year. Detectives have linked the murders to a man granted early release from his sentence. Jesse Lee Calhoun, 38, was granted early release after he joined a group of inmates fighting devastating wildfires. Calhoun had been sentenced to four years in prison for felonies including burglary, unauthorized possession of a stolen vehicle, and injuring a police officer and a police dog as they attempted to arrest him. Calhoun's clemency has been revoked, and he is back behind bars. On the way to Bridgerton City Park in southern New Jersey, Noema Alavez Perez takes her children, Dulce Maria Alavez, 5, and her 3-year-old brother to get ice cream. Once at the park, the children play on the swings as Noema is in her car about 30 yards away helping her sister with homework on the phone. Seeing her son crying by the swings, Perez walks toward him to find out what is going on and finds someone has thrown his ice cream on the ground, noticing Dulce is not on the swings with her brother. No longer concerned about her sons' ice cream, Noema Perez begins scanning the park for Dulce. Noema Alavez Perez was about 30 yards away from her children playing on swings in the park, and when she couldn't find Dulce for a few minutes, she thought her daughter was hiding, trying to be funny. Read moves into O’Keefe’s home during their two-year relationship, but it’s not always smooth sailing for the couple. O’Keefe’s niece and nephew hear loud arguments between Read and their uncle with increasing frequency. Friends who join the couple on a trip to Aruba report a blow-out fight between Read and O’Keefe during the vacation. On a snowy January evening, John O’Keefe and girlfriend, Karen Read have dinner in downtown Canton. Around 10:45 the couple walks down the street to Waterfall Bar and Grille to meet up with friends. COPS: ALEC BALDWIN ANNOUNCES REALITY SHOW AFTER "SHOOTING WOMAN DEAD" ON SET

Alec Baldwin announces a new family reality show that will air on TLC. The video teaser offers a glimpse into the Baldwin family, with seven young children and a marriage with a 25-year age gap between the couple. The announcement is just in time for the July start of Baldwin's manslaughter trial. Baldwin’s attorneys have planned their defense around convicted armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed not testifying against Alec Baldwin at trial. If the defense can prevent Gutierrez-Reed from testifying, Baldwin's team can use her own words and conviction to lay the blame for the shooting squarely on her shoulders. Baldwin's team also claims that anything Gutierrez-Reed would offer is already available in her previous statements, and giving her immunity from prosecution and the freedom to claim whatever she wants could be highly prejudicial to their case. Meanwhile, Alec Baldwin is facing a second lawsuit involving the movie "Rust". Baldwin is accused of assault and battery, infliction of emotional distress, and the lawsuit accuses an even larger group of crew members of negligence. The lawsuit filed by Halyna Hutchins’ parents and sister, as well as the script supervisor on the movie, Mamie Mitchell, who was standing next to Halyna Hutchins when she was shot. Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, already found guilty of involuntary manslaughter as the armorer on the movie set, is also named in this lawsuit. Attorney Gloria Allred, who represents Hutchins' parents and sister in a civil suit against Baldwin, claims the new reality show is a calculated public relations move to influence the jury pool in New Mexico, making Baldwin out to be a compassionate family man. HEARTBREAK: BOY, 13, DEAD IN YARD AFTER "SEXTORTION" SCHEME

Geoffrey Hauptman kisses his wife goodbye as he leaves for work. Moments later, he calls Betsy Hauptman telling her to lock the doors and check on the children because someone’s passed out in the front yard. As he calls 911, Betsy Hauptman goes from room to room, locating 5 of 6 children. Timothy is missing. Betsy Hauptman meets her husband at the front door, hysterically explaining she can’t find Timothy. With tears in his eyes, Geoffrey Hauptman shakes his head at his wife, and she screams. The body in the front yard is Timothy, dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. Security cameras show Timothy sitting in the family car in the driveway for two hours the night before, frantically scrolling on his cellphone. Sumter, South Carolina PD, collected Timothy’s phone and his school Chromebook. Just before his death, Timothy changed the passcode on his phone, so detectives focused on the task of unlocking it. Betsy Hauptman tells Detective Kelsey Wade that Timothy mainly communicated over Snapchat, and Wade issues a subpoena for the teen’s account. Eleven weeks go by with no answers, despite Hauptman calling twice a week. Wade finally informs Hauptman investigators that they are submitting a second Snapchat subpoena, along with a subpoena for Timothy’s Cash App activity. A month later, Sumter PD unearthed dozens of suicide notes addressed to family and friends. They also find an extensive call and text record with an unsaved phone number with a New York area code. The texts included links to a second Snapchat account Timothy used. Messages on that account reveal Timothy sent a stranger $35 a day to prevent them from posting an explicit photo of him online. One of Timothy’s last messages begged the stranger to stop, reading, “Please, I’m just a child.” Joining Nancy Grace Today: Betsy Hauptman - Timothy Barnett's Mother Joe Cunningham - Victim's Family Lawyer Titania Jordan – BARK CMO Chief Marketing Officer/Chief Parenting Office Detective Rich Wistocki: Child Crime Expert, President of BeSure Consulting (30 years), 23-year SWAT team member; Formed the Will County Illinois States Attorney’s High Technology Crimes Unit that made over 90 sexual predator arrests in its first 3 ½ years. GLAM AU PAIR, 23, PLOTS STAB DEATH OF BOSS’ WIFE?

Brazilian Au Pair, Juliana Peres Magalhaes and her charge leave the Banfields' Fairfax County, Virginia home but turn around when Peres Magalhaes realizes she forgot their bagged lunches. Arriving at the house, the au pair sees a car she doesn't recognize and a man she doesn't know entering the house. Confused, she calls her employer, Brendan Banfield, who tells her to stay in the car, that he will be right there. Banfield is at the house in minutes, and they enter the house together. The au pair takes her 4-year-old charge to the basement. Brendan Banfield goes upstairs to find his wife. Banfield finds his wife, Christine, nude, and a man he doesn't know, holding a knife to her throat. Banfield tells the man to put the knife down, but he starts stabbing the 37-year-old mother. Brendan Banfield carries a gun as an IRS Special Agent, and he draws his service revolver shooting the man in the head. The intruder is wounded and down on the ground. Banfield calls for Peres Magalhaes telling her to get his personal gun, a Glock, out of the bathroom safe. At Banfield's direction, shoots Joseph Ryan in the heart as he is lying on the ground. Police say it appeared that Christine Banfield had been posted on an adult fetish website., but investigators say they believe it was all a ruse. Someone else created the profile on the Adult Fetish website, pretending to be Christine Banfield. In fact, investigators believe Ryan's murder was part of an elaborate plan to kill Christine Banfield so her husband, Brendan, and their Brazilian live-in Au Pair, could be together. Investigators found pictures of Banfield and the au pair together in the Banfield bedroom, and Peres Magalhaes' clothes were found hanging in Banfield's closet, not her own. FITNESS-MOM MISSY BEVERS BLUDGEONED DEAD IN CREEKSIDE CHURCH

Missy Bevers arrives at Creekside Church at 4:16 am and begins setting up for her 5 am fitness class. She doesn't realize that someone else is in the building. Video surveillance shows a person dressed in full police SWAT tactical gear walking through the halls of the church with an unusual gait while clutching a hammer. Shortly before 5 am, one of Bevers' students arrives, finding Bevers's body inside the church. Bevers has puncture wounds to her head and chest. The student calls 911. In minutes, police and rescue arrive, and Missy Bevers is pronounced dead on the scene. Creekside church has surveillance cameras inside and out of their property. Still, in a tough break for cops, the outside cameras don't work. Police rule out Missy Bevers's husband, Brandon, as he was on an annual fishing trip at the time of the murder. However, Missy Bevers's death investigation now includes a vehicle of interest that police say was captured on surveillance cameras at a nearby business just before the murder. GIRL 13, HEADS TO BUS STOP, NEVER SEEN AGAIN: WHERE'S TABITHA? PARENTS BREAK SILENCE

It's an early Tuesday morning in East Nashville.A family is just waking up for the day, and everyone is getting ready for work and sending their daughter off to school. Debra Tuders leaves for work at 6:30 a.m. Thirty minutes later, Bo Tuders wakes Tabitha up for school. Tabithia's siblings are still sleeping. Neighbors see Tabitha walking to the bus stop as usual. That afternoon, Tabitha isn't on the bus home. Her parents think that Tabitha may have missed the bus, walked, or maybe was with a friend, but by 5 p.m., panic sets in. Bo and Debra Tuders drive to Bailey Middle School, where a teacher tells them Tabitha was not in class that day. Nashville Police, canvassing the area, receive several tips. Some neighbors report seeing Tabitha at the bus stop on 14th and Boscobel Street but then see her cross 14th and head down Boscobel. A neighborhood boy says he saw Tabitha enter a red car at the corner of 15th Street. He described the driver as a 30 to 40-year-old Black male. Tracker dogs trace Tabitha's scent on a route similar to the boy's account. Jamie Tuders' ex-boyfriend matched that description and drove a red car, but police placed him elsewhere that morning. The tracker dogs lose Tabitha's scent in an alleyway. Friends say Tabitha would never have gone in the alley alone. Tabitha's clothes, toiletries, and money are left behind. Tabitha did not take her backpack to school that day; she only carried her signed report card. On Tabitha's desk at home, police find several 'business' cards with Tabitha's name, phone number, and address, alongside a picture of Winne the Pooh. Her parents did not know Tabitha had the cards and could not explain why she may have had them. Investigators also discover a note reading 'T.D.T - n – M.T.L.' Detectives believe them to be initials, TDT for Tabitha Danielle Tuders, but MTL has never been identified. CHILD MOLEST SUSPECT, 23, POSES AS SCHOOL GIRL, "DATES" LITTLE BOYS

Tampa PD responds to reports of shoplifting at a Nordstrom department store, speaking with teen suspects who say they’re dating. Alyssa Zinger tells cops her birthday is January 15th, 2009, putting her age at 14 years old. When officers try to verify her identity, they can only find a 22-year-old Alyssa Zinger, born in 2001. When confronted with that inconsistency, Zinger says she ‘has a half-sister with the same name.’ The store declines to press charges and both suspects are free to go. After the shoplifting incident, Tampa PD combs through government, school, and employment records to determine Alyssa Zinger, 14, and the 22-year-old half sister with the same name... are the same person. A teen boy then reports he has had a sexual relationship with Zinger for over 5 months. The victim says he met Zinger on Snapchat, where she introduced herself as a homeschooled 14-year-old. The boy says they had sex multiple times, and she sent him explicit photos and videos. He says he ended the relationship when he learned her true age. Alyssa Zinger is charged with two counts of lewd and lascivious battery and five counts of lewd and lascivious molestation. She posts bond on all seven charges and moves in with her parents as the case proceeds.
