TEEN GIRL STEFANIE, 13, "LOST IN WOODS"

Lisa and Christopher Damron head into town for a job interview, leaving the children with their grandfather. Around 3:00 pm, their eldest daughter texts that Stefanie left the house and they can’t find her. She explains she got in an argument with Stefanie over which chores each of them would take, and Stefanie stormed off into the woods. This isn’t unusual for Stefanie, and the Damrons assume she will return before it starts to get dark.  While their parents are away, Stefanie gets in an argument with her sister over their chores and storms out the open front door, which her grandfather is trying to realign. Grandpa tries to stop Stefanie—but after noticing tears in her eyes, he lets the 13-year-old go, assuming she will return after cooling off. He sees Stephanie walk off into the woods and eventually goes back to his work.   When Stefanie still hasn’t returned an hour and a half later, the Damron's come home to search for her. Stefanie is extremely familiar with the woods near their home, and they check all her usual spots—but find no trace of the 13-year-old. The family doesn’t think Stefanie would have headed to the main road, but as they walk the half mile trail leading to the street, Grandpa and some of her siblings remember hearing some kind of vehicle pass by just a few minutes after Stefanie left.   As sunset approaches with no sign of Stefanie, the Damrons become increasingly concerned that Stefanie is no longer in the area. The teen isn’t responding to anyone screaming her name, she does not have her own cellphone, and temperatures have dropped more than 10 degrees. First thing in the morning, the Damrons officially report Stephanie missing with Maine State Police. HIDEOUS CRIMES: DELPHI CHILD KILLER RICHARD ALLEN TO WALK FREE?

First, the white van. Prosecutors claimed a white van spooked Allen before he could rape the girls. Second, Ron Logan’s confession. Logan owned the property where Abby Williams and Libby German were killed. He lied to police about his alibi, gave reporters tours of the property, and pointed out where the girls were found. An FBI agent wrote that Logan’s physical build matched the “Bridge Guy” in the video taken from Libby’s phone, and his voice was “not inconsistent” with the person heard in the clip. Allen’s defense team claims Logan confessed to killing the girls while in prison on a probation violation. Third, Allen’s prison transfer. His attorneys argue that Carroll County Circuit Judge Benjamin Diener, who approved the search warrant for Allen’s home, helped Sheriff Leazenby draft the safekeeping order and should have recused himself. They claim Allen had the right for another judge to review and issue the safekeeping order and an “absolute right” to refuse transfer into state custody. Because the order was never served to Allen or his attorney, Brett Gibson, they were unable to challenge it. Allen’s lawyers argue the state violated his constitutional rights under the Sixth and Fourteenth Amendments. Lastly, a reported connection involving a pair of headphones. At trial, defense expert Stacy Eldridge testified that someone appeared to have plugged headphones into Libby’s phone at 5:44 p.m. on February 13 and removed them at 10:32 p.m. the same day. This contradicted the state’s timeline. The state’s phone expert, ISP 1st Sgt. Chris Cecil, testified after conducting a Google search that dirt or water damage could have caused the logged activity. The defense argues they had no opportunity to counter this claim. Eldridge testified she was “unaware of any scientific or technological research suggesting that water or dirt damage to an iPhone 6s would cause the phone to inaccurately log wired headphones in or out.” Since the state never argued Allen returned to the crime scene, the defense claims that if a jury accepted Eldridge’s analysis, the state’s “narrative is impossible. WEALTHY FLORIDA REALTOR-BROTHERS' RAPE 'TROPHIES' REVEALED, NOW COURTROOM WIN

A court has dismissed one of the original cases against the Alexander brothers, who are accused of multiple sexual assaults. Angelica Parker alleged that the brothers assaulted her and a friend after giving them ecstasy without their knowledge. A federal judge dismissed the case, ruling it was not filed within the time frame set by a New York state survivors' law. The law allowed claims to be filed from November 2022 to November 2023, but Parker's suit was filed in June 2024. She has until February 14 to file an amended complaint. The Alexander brothers are accused of using their wealth and influence to create opportunities to sexually assault women. More than 40 women have come forward with allegations, and investigators are urging others who believe they were assaulted to contact authorities. Attorneys for the brothers say they plan to plead not guilty. If convicted, they face life in prison. The three brothers—twins Oren and Alon Alexander and their older brother Tal—come from a high-profile real estate background. Tal and Oren brokered a $47 million deal for their father in 2012 and a $240 million Manhattan condo sale in 2019. Alon attended law school before joining the family's private security company, Kent Security. Each brother has been accused of forcible rape by at least 10 women. All three are indicted on federal sex trafficking charges, while Oren and Alon also face sexual battery charges in Florida. The Alexanders have denied the allegations in civil cases, with their representatives suggesting the accusers are attempting to extort them. Court documents detail accounts from alleged victims. "Victim-1" claims she was raped by Tal Alexander and other men in 2021 at a home in the Hamptons. She says she felt unwell after drinking a glass of wine, then recalled Tal holding her down as another man entered the room. She later woke up in a separate room, where a camcorder was set up. Another alleged victim, referred to as "Victim-2," told investigators that Oren raped her. She says Oren gave her a cocktail, after which she felt strange and struggled to walk. Alon then took her to a bedroom to lie down. She recalls waking up to find Oren in the room. He allegedly pulled down her bathing suit and raped her while she was "physically impaired and could not move."  Joining Nancy Grace today:  Neama Rahmani – Former Federal Prosecutor-turned-Trial Attorney; Author: “Harvard to Hashtag;” INSTAGRAM: @Neamarahmani/ X: @NeamaRahmani   Caryn L. LAKEN RILEY ACT, NAMED AFTER MURDERED UGA STUDENT, SIGNED INTO LAW

Congress passes the Laken Riley Act and now, President Trump has signed it into law. It mandates that illegal immigrants accused of theft, burglary, assaulting a law enforcement officer, and any crime that causes death or serious bodily injury, must be detained until their trial. Jose Ibarra, the sole suspect in the murder of University of Georgia jogger Laken Riley,  found guilty on all charges. The ten charges include three counts of felony murder, malice murder, kidnapping with bodily injury, aggravated assault with intent to rape, and “peeping Tom.” In emotional testimony, University of Georgia Police Sgt. Sophie Raboud detailed the final moments of Riley’s life, breaking down the timeline into minutes. Before her final jog, Riley texted her mother at 8:55 a.m., asking if she was free to talk. At 9:03 a.m., Riley called her mother. She then listened to music and was seen on a trail camera at 9:05 a.m., holding her iPhone in her left hand as she jogged toward the intramural fields. By 9:06 a.m., Riley ran out of the camera’s view. Minutes later, at 9:11 a.m., Riley activated the SOS function on her iPhone to call 911. The dispatcher was unable to speak with her before the call was disconnected. The dispatcher attempted to call back twice but received no answer. Riley’s phone later received a call from her mother at 9:24 a.m. When Riley failed to respond, her mother sent a text at 9:38 a.m. reading, “Call me when you can.” During closing arguments, State Prosecutor Shelia Ross outlined the evidence supporting each charge, describing Ibarra as “a monstrously guilty individual.” Defense attorney Kaitlyn Beck presented two alternative theories: that DNA was transferred onto clothes found in the apartment, implicating Ibarra’s brother Diego as the murderer, or that Ibarra may have been an accomplice but not the primary culprit. Ultimately, Superior Court Judge H. Patrick Haggard found Jose Ibarra guilty on all counts.  Joining Nancy Grace today:  Philip Dubé  – Court-Appointed Counsel, Los Angeles County Public Defenders: Criminal & Constitutional Law; Forensics & Mental Health Advocacy Dr. Angela Arnold – Psychiatrist, Atlanta GA. DIDDY KNIFE ATTACK: VICTIM AMBUSHES COMBS WITH KNIFE AFTER ALLEGED RAPE

While Sean Diddy Combs has been sued 42 times in just over a year, the disgraced mogul has just filed one of his own. Combs has logged a $50 million defamation lawsuit against grand jur witness Courtney Burgess and his lawyer Ariel Mitchell. Combs accuses Burgess of ‘pretending to have proof that Mr. Combs engaged in heinous acts, knowing no such proof exists,’ referring to sex tapes Burgess claims depict Combs sexually assaulting celebrities and minors.   Also named in Combs suit is Nexstar Media Inc., the parent company of News Nation, who first publicized Burgess’ claims to be in possession of 8 recordings of Sean Combs’ sexual assaults, and Kim Porter’s real memoir. The complaint alleges that the cable news network aired Burgess’ assertions to thousands of viewers without looking into their credibility. Combs’ claims the fallout from the ‘outrageous lies’ have led the public to view him as a “debauched ‘monster’ and a pedophile,” and has further tainted the potential jury pool for his upcoming criminal trial.   Burgess maintains that he is telling the truth about receiving a flash drive containing the video files and Porter’s manuscript through an intermediary. Burgess calling Diddy out for having the nerve to sue, when he will <quote> “rot in jail for what he’s done.” His lawyer, Ariell Mitchell, who claims to have seen the tapes, stands by Burgess, calling Combs’ suit a pathetic ploy to silence victims and those who stand up for them, and has plans to countersue. Sources close to Kim Porter say they had never heard of Burgess before his interviews and have reason to doubt his claims.  In another case, Ashley Parham discusses more disturbing details of her alleged gang rape at the hands of Diddy and his associates. Parham claims several men in Combs’ entourage held her down while Chief of Staff Kristina Khorram tried to insert an IUD into her. She says when the device failed, Combs’ flew into a rage and began violently raping her with a TV remote before forcing himself on her and encouraging his associates do the same.  Parham says she armed herself with a kitchen knife when she woke up alone after the attack and found Combs and the other men smoking in the backyard. Parham claims Combs’ was nonchalant when she confronted him, and in a fit of rage, she tried to stab the mogul, who begged for his life. Parham says her ‘moral compass’ snapped back into place and she ran to a neighbor's home after the knife fight, where she claims she spoke with a Contra Costa Sheriff’s deputy.   Joining Nancy Grace today:  Joshua Ritter - Criminal Defense Attorney, Former Prosecutor,  Host of Courtroom Confidential on YouTube; website: joshuaritter.com; Twitter, Instagram & TikTok: @joshuaritteresq, YouTube: CRConfidential, Dr. Shari Schwartz - Forensic Psychologist (specializing in Capital Mitigation and Victim Advocacy), www.panthermitigation.com, Twitter: https://twitter.com/TrialDoc, Author: "Criminal Behavior" and "Where Law and Psychology Intersect: Issues in Legal Psychology" Robert Crispin -  Private Investigator “Crispin Special Investigations”, Former Federal Task Force Officer for the United States Department of Justice, DEA and Miami Field Division. HUSBAND FINDS WIFE DEAD AT BOTTOM OF STAIRS, GOES ON BEER RUN

Autumn Mercado’s coworker at the Huntsman Cancer Institute tells police she is worried something happened to Autumn. Mercado did not show up for work. The nurse reports that Autumn’s husband has a history of domestic violence and fears it may have escalated. West Jordan police officers respond to 7800 South and Iron Core Lane for a welfare check. Autumn’s husband, Carlos Mercado Jr., answers the door, visibly intoxicated, with alcohol on his breath. He appears relieved to see them, claiming he was just about to call. As officers follow him inside, they see a woman’s body covered with a blanket at the foot of the stairs. Mercado struggles to maintain his balance and slurs his speech. He tells officers he found Autumn about six hours earlier but did not realize she was dead. He says he assumed she was sleeping off the drinks they had the night before. Officers notice several open alcohol containers in the kitchen and living room. Mercado says he and Autumn drank heavily late into the night, and he fell asleep around 4 a.m. When he wakes at 8:40 a.m., he finds Autumn at the bottom of the stairs but cannot wake her. He tells police he believes she passed out from vertigo and fell. Instead of calling 911, he covers her with a blanket, orders a Lyft, and goes to a gas station for more beer, leaving their 1- and 4-year-old children home alone with their mother’s body. BABY SHOWER FRIENDS SEARCH FOR MISSING MOM, 28, DAMNING POLICE BODYCAM EMERGES

Naresh Bhatt has been held without bond since August on a felony charge of concealing a dead body, now a grand jury hands up a murder indictment against the man who was married to Mamta Kafle Bhatt. Naresh Bhatt now faces state charges of murder and defiling a body. The charge for defiling a body is due to evidence that shows the body of Mamta Kafle Bhatt was dismembered. Manassas Park Police Chief Mario Lugo says DNA tests proved blood found in Kafle Bhatt’s bedroom belonged to Mamta, with evidence showing she was killed on July 29. Investigators have been testing evidence found at the Bhatt residence, including what appeared to be blood found on a handheld power saw.  DNA testing by Virginia's Department of Forensic Science reports the blood found on the reciprocating power saw matches the DNA profile created by Mamta Kafle Bhatt's hairbrush. This along with new body cam footage give insight into the investigation.   Prosecutors are notifiying the court they intend to offer up results of DNA analysis. It is a state law in Virginia that the commonwealth has to give the defense a notice of intent as the first step to get that DNA evidence into the trial. The state is providing four certificates of analysis from the Virginia Department of Forensic Science showing results of the DNA evidence collected during the investigation. DNA was collected from Mamta's hairbrush, a piece of carpet, a garbage can, and a reciprocating saw and knives.  Naresh Bhatt's trial is scheduled for September 8.  Joining Nancy Grace today:  Nadia Navarro - Friend  Wendy Patrick – California prosecutor, Author: “Red Flags” www.wendypatrickphd.com ‘Today with Dr. Wendy’ on KCBQ in San Diego; X: @WendyPatrickPHD wendypatrickphd.com, ‘Today with Dr Wendy’ on KCBQ in San Diego, Twitter: @WendyPatrickPHD Dr. John Delatorre –  Licensed Psychologist and Mediator (specializing in forensic psychology); Psychological Consultant to Project Absentis: a nonprofit organization that searches for missing persons; Twitter, IG, and TikTok – @drjohndelatorre Brian Fitzgibbons – VP of Operations for USPA Nationwide Security; Instagram: @uspa_nationwide_security, Kingsman Philanthropic’s 2022 rescue missions of women and children in Ukraine, Iraq War Veteranide_security Dr. Kendall Crowns – Chief Medical Examiner Tarrant County (Ft Worth) and Lecturer: University of Texas Austin and Texas Christian University Medical School Tami Ballard  -  DNA and Crime Scene Consultant, Crime Scene Investigation and Reconstruction, Law Enforcement Liaison at Othram, Inc. / Fmr. MOM "ALL DOLLED UP" TAKING SELFIES, TOT-SON, 3, DROWNS, SUES WATER PARK

The Camp Cohen Waterpark in northeast El Paso is holding a "soft opening" as staff prepares for the summer. The playful sounds of children at the park are interrupted by lifeguards blowing whistles and ordering everyone out of the pool. An unconscious boy, not wearing a life jacket, is pulled from a four-foot-deep section of the water. Multiple signs at Camp Cohen state that children six and younger “must be directly attended by a swimming adult” at all times and “must be supervised by an adult within arm’s reach.” Parents gather around as lifeguards perform life-saving measures, but the boy's parents are not immediately identified. Jessica Weaver, a 35-year-old single mother, lounges at Camp Cohen Waterpark while her 3-year-old son, Anthony, plays among other children. The scene is disrupted by lifeguards blowing whistles and clearing the pool. About five minutes later, Jessica notices the commotion and moves toward the pool, searching for Anthony. As she approaches, she realizes lifeguards are working on her son. She jumps into the pool, rushing to him. Investigators probing the Mother’s Day weekend drowning of 3-year-old Anthony Malave are surprised to learn that his mother has filed a lawsuit against Destination El Paso, the company managing the city’s watermarks, and the City of El Paso. Jessica Weaver, represented by a Houston law firm, alleges gross negligence and wrongful death. The lawsuit claims that during the park’s “soft opening,” the city and Destination El Paso “focused more on packing the watermark with people and ensuring the live band was playing” than on safety. Two months after Jessica filed the lawsuit and nearly four months after Anthony’s death, she is arrested. Authorities in Indiana arrest Weaver on a fugitive from justice warrant issued in El Paso, Texas. After waiving extradition, she is transported to El Paso, where she is released on a $100,000 bond. Weaver’s attorneys in the wrongful death case against the city call her arrest a "retaliatory tactic" in response to her lawsuit Joining Nancy Grace today: Eric Faddis – Partner at Varner Faddis Elite Legal, Former Felony Prosecutor and Current Criminal Defense and Civil Litigation Attorney; Instagram: @e_fad @varnerfaddis; TikTok: @varnerfaddis Caryn Stark – Psychologist, renowned TV and Radio Trauma Expert and Consultant; Instagram: carynpsych, FB: Caryn Stark Private Practice Dr. Tom Griffiths  -Drowning Expert - President and Founder, Aquatic Safety Research Group, co-host of the podcast “The Drowning Files”; Creator of Dr. Tom’s Lifeguard Vision app; Author of “Dr. Tom’s Lifeguard Chronicles”; “Safer Beaches” ; “Beter Beaches” and “The Complete Swimming Pool Reference”; website: www.aquaticsafetygroup.com and https://drtomslifeguardvision.com/; X: @AquaticSafetyGr; Facebook: AquaticSafetyResearchGroup Dr. Thomas Coyne - Chief Medical Examiner, District 2 Medical Examiner's Office, State of Florida; Forensic Pathologist, Neuropathologist, Toxicologist; X: @DrTMCoyne Elaine Aradillas  - Investigative Reporter;  X: @theelaineja, Instagram: @the_elaine See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

DEATH BY MERCEDES: $$$ Socialite Mows Down Brothers, Wins Court Victory

It's a small court victory for convicted socialite Rebecca Grossman against the parents of two young boys killed when a drunk Grossman plowed into them. The family is civilly suing Grossman and her former MLB star lover Scott Erickson for wrongful death.  Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Huey Cotton threw out a motion to fast-track.  The judge’s decision means that trial won't start until the original December 1 date.  Just after 7 pm, on a September evening, Jacob and Mark Iskander, their siblings, and parents go for an evening stroll to a nearby lake.   The 6 member family is crossing in a crosswalk at a three-way intersection when mother Nancy hears a speeding car barreling their way.  The mom says her husband and daughter were father away from the street. She tries to signal to the two SUVs to slow down.  She tries to pull the children back, only managing to grab 1 of them and dive out of the way.  Jacob and Mark are hit.   Mark Iskander dies at the scene. Jacob dies later at the hospital. According to police, Mark was thrown 254 feet.   Nancy Iskander tells police that two SUVs  were  "zig-zagging with each other as if they were playing or racing.”  She says the drivers didn’t stop, at the intersection, not even when the 11-year-old was on the hood of the car. US SERIAL RAPIST CLAIMING TO BE IRISH ORPHAN, FINALLY ADMITS IDENTITY, PLEA DEAL WITHDRAW

Nicholas Alahverdian’s obituary appeared on a memorial site called Ever Loved. It detailed how the man, who grew up in foster care became a Harvard Graduate and a vocal critic of Rhode Island’s childcare system after suffering sexual abuse as a child.  It also detailed how Alahverdian died of Hodgkin's Lymphoma at 32 years old, leaving behind a wife and two young children who remained at his bedside as he died. Alahverdian’s death was a lie, an elaborate scheme created by Nicholas Rossi, a man charged with sexually assaulting a former girlfriend in Orem, Utah as well as multiple complaints against him in Rhode Island for alleged domestic violence.  David Rossi, the stepfather says at an early age Nicholas would hit his mother, grandmother, and siblings, and wouldn't listen in school. Alahverdian was placed in psychiatric care. Nicholas Alahverdian, using the name Rossi, was accused of assaulting a young woman he met at Sinclair Community College in Ohio. The two had lunch together.  Alahverdian offered to walk the co-ed to her next class. The coed claims Alahverdian then pinned her against a wall in a basement, groped her, and masturbated. Alahverdian apologized and asked the girl not to tell anybody. She made a police report and Alahverdian, aka Rossi, was convicted of public indecency and sexual imposition, and was required to register as a sex offender. Two years later, police are called to an apartment in Rhode Island.  Officers can hear arguing and screaming. When a woman comes to the door, she has marks on her face neck, and left eye and her right eye is swelling. The woman tells police she and Alahverdian were arguing and when she tried to leave he slapped her in the face. Police arrest Alahverdian who proclaims his innocence and begins banging his head on the bars in the back of the squad car. Officers have to use pepper spray to make him stop trying to hurt himself. Alahverdian pleads no-contest to domestic simple assault. Testing reveals Alahverdian's DNA is present in a rape case, and other allegations have already been lodged. Fraud charges also land in Alahverdian's lap, and this is when he fakes his death and heads overseas. The death of Nicholas Alahverdian is met with skepticism.  Alahverdian's foster mother Sharon Lane said she was contacted by Alahverdian's biological mother.   The minute Sharon Lane read the obituary, she believed it was written by Alahverdian himself. Utah authorities continued investigating the first rape allegation against Nicholas Alahverdian and issued a warrant for his arrest seven months after he supposedly died. An FBI search of Alahverdian’s iCloud account and cell phone records led investigators to Scotland. As investigations were looking for Nicholas Alahverdian and Nichols Rossi in the United States, a man named Arthur Knight was being treated for Covid-19 at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow.  He had been living a happy new life,  married a woman named Miranda, and worked as a tutor, but then he suffered a serious case of pneumonitis, caused by Covid-19. Someone recognized him through his distinctive tattoos. They were a match to those from a Pawtucket police booking photo of him.  In December 2021,  they arrested the convicted sex offender in the Glasgow hospital. Authorities say Knight was just one of Alahverdian’s 16 known aliases, which include Nicholas Rossi, Nicholas Brown, Arthur Brown, and Arthur Knight-Brown. Nicholas Alahverdian fought extradition back to the US.  For over two years, Alahverdian exhausted every legal avenue available in the UK. Ultimately the courts ruled he was a wanted fugitive and agreed to the United States’ request to send him home.  Rossi now set for trial.  Joining Nancy Grace Today:   See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

THE NEW DIDDY? WEALTHY FLORIDA REALTOR-BROTHERS' RAPE "TROPHIES" REVEALED

The Alexander Brothers are accused of using their wealth and positions to create and facilitate opportunities to rape and sexually assault women. So far, more than 40 women have come forward accusing the three Alexander brothers of sexual misconduct, and investigators are asking other women who believe they have been assaulted to call. Attorneys for the brothers say they plan to plead not-guilty to the charges which, if convicted, could land all three brothers in prison for life.  There are three Alexander brothers; Two of the brothers are twins, Oren and Alon, and their older brother Tal. Tal and Oren Alexander are known in the world of high-priced real estate having brokered a $47 million dollar deal for their dad in 2012 and a $240 million dollar Manhattan Condo sale in 2019, while Oren's twin brother, Alon, attended law school before joining the family's private security company, Kent Security   Each of the three brothers has been accused of forcible rape by at least 10 women.  All three indicted on Federal Charges of sex trafficking, while the twins Oren and Alon are charged with Sexual Battery in Florida.  The Alexanders have denied the allegations in the civil cases and their reps have previously gone so far as to suggest the accusers were trying to shake down the brothers   Investigators interviewing a victim, referred to as "Victim -1" in court documents, who claims she was raped by Tal Alexander and other men in 2021 at a home in The Hamptons. "Victim-1" is given a glass of wine, after which she doesn't feel well. She recalls Tal holding her down as another man enters the room, and later being in a separate room where a camcorder is set up.   Some allegations made against the Alexander brothers are very specific. A victim called "victim-2" in court papers, tells investigators she was raped by Oren. Oren handed her a cocktail and she began feeling strange and struggles to walk. Alon Alexander then takes her to a bedroom to lay down. She recalls waking to find Oren in the room. Oren then pulls down her bathing suit and rapes her while she is “physically impaired and could not move."    Joining Nancy Grace today:  Neama Rahmani - Former federal prosecutor turned trial attorney, President of West Coast Trial Lawyers, Author: “Harvard to Hashtag”, WestCoastTrialLawyers.com, INSTAGRAM: @Neamarahmani, TWITTER: @NeamaRahmani     Caryn Stark - Psychologist, renowned TV and Radio trauma expert and consultant, www.carynstark.com, Instagram: carynpsych, FB: Caryn Stark Private Practice  Bill Daly - Former FBI Investigator and Forensic Photography, International Security Expert  Lynn Shaw - Founder and Executive Director of Lynn's Warriors, Host of Lynn's Warriors on YouTube, website: lynnswarrior.org  X: @lynns_warriors Youtube: @LynnsWarriors  Christina Aguayo - National News Anchor, Salem News Channel, website: www.ChristinaAguayoNews.Com, Facebook: @ChristinaAguayoNews, Instagram: @Christina.AguayoNews,  See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

BOO HOO OnlyFans Model SOBS, Brings Pig Carcass Video to Court

OnlyFans model and Instagram influencer Courtney Clenney calls 911 telling the operator her boyfriend has been stabbed and is bleeding profusely. Later Clenney is  arrested for his murder. Clenney say claims she was afraid Christian Obumseli was going to hurt her and threw a knife at him in self-defense. The knife lodged in his chest, killing him.  An attorney for Clenney says that the 25-year-old “was a victim of physical, emotional, and mental abuse at the hands of Obumseli” and killed him in self-defense. The two had been dating for about two years and lived at the apartment building for several months. Police say they’ve responded to multiple calls to the apartment, and apartment staff had also noted multiple domestic incidents and tried to evict them.  Friends of the couple said it was unimaginable that Obumseli could have been violent toward Clenney, saying while they had seen Clenney hit Obumseli, they had never seen him hit her.   In her latest courtroom move,  Clenney's defense introduced a video of an expert knives being thrown at a pig carcass. According to the defense, the pig’s skin and tissue behave much like a human’s.   The point was to test the theory, that Obumseli death happened just as Clenney said.  Joining Nancy Grace today: Greg Morse - Partner at the law firm of King Morse, PLLC. KOHBERGER BACK IN COURT AS IDAHO BRINGS BACK FIRING SQUAD

Will a home invasion just miles from the Idaho murder site give Bryan Kohberger's defense team an alternative suspect in the deaths of four Moscow students? Many speculate that the similarities between the crimes may support a "some other dude did it" defense. In the meantime, during closed ex-parte hearings, defense attorneys are discussing their motion to suppress evidence stemming from law enforcement’s use of a DNA match to justify several searches. Judge Steven Hippler and the defense will reconvene with prosecutors on Thursday for formal arguments regarding the evidence and other motions. While defense attorneys have requested that the entire hearing be open to the public, Judge Hippler will decide how much of the proceedings will remain closed. Many expect the hearing to extend through Friday. Kohberger’s defense is contesting nearly all the evidence against him, claiming police violated his rights and improperly obtained search warrants. The defense argues that all data from Kohberger’s phone, including his Google, Apple, and Amazon accounts, should be excluded from evidence, along with anything seized from his parents’ Pennsylvania home, his Washington apartment, or his car. They allege that law enforcement intentionally withheld exculpatory information from a judge to secure the warrants and that the searches were overly broad. Despite Judge Hippler’s ruling that the death penalty remains an option for Kohberger, his defense team may argue for its removal again. The defense now alleges that the prosecution failed to meet the deadline for disclosing its list of expert witnesses for the trial. Kohberger’s attorneys claim the state’s expert witness briefs are too broad and fail to specify the scope of the opinions those experts may present at trial. While the defense has not yet moved to sanction the prosecution, their filing includes a warning that they may seek to have the death penalty removed if issues with the witness list are not resolved. Kohberger’s defense appears to be drawing from Lori Vallow Daybell’s trial, where Judge Steven Boyce removed the death penalty after prosecutors delayed turning over thousands of documents and hundreds of hours of jail phone calls until three weeks before trial. However, a key distinction between the cases is that Vallow insisted on a speedy trial, while Kohberger has waived that timeline Joining Nancy Grace today: Brian Stewart – Attorney at Parker & McConkie, Gabby Petito’s Family Attorney; Instagram: parkermcconkie Dr. Bethany Marshall – Author: “Deal Breaker,”  featured in hit show: “Paris in Love” on Peacock https://www.drbethanymarshall.com/ , Instagram & TikTok: drbethanymarshall, X: @DrBethanyLive Chris McDonough – Director at the Cold Case Foundation, Former Homicide Detective; Host of YouTube channel: “The Interview Room”    Scott Eicher – A founding member of the FBI’s Cellular Analysis Survey Team (C.A.S.T); Historical Cellular Analysis Expert; Former FBI agent of 22 years; Former Police Officer and Homicide Detective with Norfolk Virginia Police Dept. having served 12 years; Currently with Precision Cellular Analysis handling Criminal, Defense and Civil case    Dr. Kendall Crowns – Chief Medical Examiner Tarrant County (Ft Worth) and Lecturer: University of Texas Austin and Texas Christian University Medical School Sydney Sumner - CrimeOnline Investigative Reporter See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

SICKO-PERV TEACHER HAS BABY WITH STUDENT, 11

A New Jersey teacher is accused of sexually abusing her former 5th grade student for four years, while he and his two siblings lived with her. Laura Caron, now 34, also has a 5-year-old son who police believe was fathered by the victim when he was just 13 years old. Caron’s arrest comes after the victim’s father noticed striking similarities between Caron’s son and his eldest son, now an adult.   Caron, then 26, taught fifth grade at Middle Township Elementary School when she  develops a close relationship with a male student’s mother. The mom knows her two younger children will also come through Caron’s class, and they become fast friends. Caron agrees to babysit for the family as needed, which turns into overnight stays a few times a week. Eventually, the three children, two boys and a girl, live with Caron full time.  All three children share a bedroom on the second floor, but in the morning, the eldest brother’s bed is usually empty. His siblings typically find him on the first floor, coming from Caron’s bedroom. The younger siblings also frequently catch Caron going into the bathroom while their brother showers, then exiting with him, also wet and wearing a towel.   While Caron and the children watch TV before bed, Caron always sits with the eldest 11-year-old boy in a reclining chair. The two younger children usually fall asleep while watching a movie, but one evening, the middle brother, 8, wakes up and notices Caron and his brother shifting around in the reclining chair. The two are covered by a blanket, but he can tell Caron’s hand is moving under the blanket. Three years after inviting her student and his siblings to live with her, Caron gives birth to a baby boy. Caron is very quiet about the baby’s father, claiming he isn’t ready to a dad, but she is grateful for the blessing he gave her. Caron continues to care for the siblings alongside her baby boy.   The three children move out of Caron’s home just after her son’s first birthday, but Caron still stays in close contact with the family, their daughter, the last to enter fifth grade.     The boy’s mother is scrolling through Facebook when she comes across a photo of Laura Caron’s son, who’s now 5 years old. She shows the photo to her husband, who comments that the boy looks strikingly similar to their eldest son. He admits he fathered Caron’s baby, but he begs her to let it go because he doesn’t want Caron to get in trouble.    The boy’s father takes to Facebook, commenting on Caron’s photo that her kindergartener looks a lot like his son, who was just 13 when the baby was born. Middle Township Superintendent Dr. David Salvo gets wind of the post and goes straight to the police, reporting a teacher may have had an inappropriate relationship with a student.    Middle Township police begin investigating the superintendent’s claims, and interview Caron’s alleged victim, now an adult. The boy comes clean with police, telling them Caron instigated a sexual relationship with him in 2016, shortly after he and his siblings moved into her home. The boy says he did father Caron’s baby, and their relationship continued physically until the siblings moved out in 2020, but that he had kept in contact with her until his family discovered the truth.     Laura Caron, 34,  arrested outside her Cape May Court House home just over a week after her victim’s damning interview, charged with sexual assault, aggravated sexual assault, and endangering a minor by sexual conduct. Caron now held at the Cape May County Correctional Facility. BRILLIANT MED STUDENT DISAPPEARS FROM INSIDE A BAR: WHERE'S BRIAN?

Brian Shaffer drives 30 minutes from Columbus to celebrate the start of Spring Break with a steak dinner at his father’s house. During dinner, Brian eagerly discusses his upcoming vacation to Miami with his girlfriend, Alexis Waggoner. According to his family, Brian plans to propose during the trip. He also mentions plans to go out that evening with his former roommate, William “Clint” Florence. At 9:00 p.m., Brian meets Clint at the Ugly Tuna Saloona, a popular college bar on the second floor of the Gateway Building. Around 10:00 p.m., Brian calls Alexis to check in before he and Clint head to another bar in the Arena District. They visit several bars, each having a shot, before meeting up with Clint’s friend, Meredith Reed, around midnight. The group then returns to the Ugly Tuna in Meredith’s car for one last round. At 1:15 a.m., Brian, Clint, and Meredith ride the Gateway Building escalator back to the Ugly Tuna and have another round of shots while listening to the band. Brian steps outside the bar to chat with two women, leaving Clint and Meredith to spend some time alone. Surveillance footage captures Brian speaking to the women until 1:55 a.m. Five minutes later, as the bar begins to close and patrons head down the escalator, Clint and Meredith realize Brian is missing. Assuming he walked home to his off-campus apartment, located six blocks away, they leave. On Saturday morning, Alexis calls Brian to finalize plans for their upcoming vacation. Her call goes straight to voicemail, but she assumes he is still sleeping off the previous night. That afternoon, her second call also goes unanswered. Brian’s father and brother, Randy and Derek Shaffer, also fail to reach him. On Sunday, Derek visits Brian’s apartment. He finds Brian’s car parked outside, and nothing seems out of place inside the apartment, but Brian is nowhere to be found. When Brian doesn’t show up at the airport on Monday morning, Randy reports him missing. Investigators review surveillance footage from the Gateway Building. Brian is last seen walking off camera toward the Ugly Tuna’s entrance but never comes back down the escalator. He is not seen exiting the building through an emergency door or other exits. The only other way out from the second floor is a service door leading to an area under construction. This door provides access to a temporary freight elevator and a service ladder. Climbing down would have been challenging for a sober person, let alone someone intoxicated. Nearby surveillance cameras from other bars should have captured Brian if he had exited the Gateway Building through the first-floor doors, but no footage shows him leaving. Columbus police search garbage leaving the building, the sewers below, and use dogs to comb a miles-wide radius. Despite extensive efforts, no trace of Brian Shaffer is found. 'RUST' Star Alec Baldwin Deadly Shooting, Now Suing Prosecutors and Detectives

Two people were shot on the set of Alec Baldwin's movie Rust. Director of photography Halyna Hutchins died, and director Joel Souza was wounded. Reports say first assistant director David Halls picked up one of three prop guns set up by armorer Hannah Gutierrez and yelled, “cold gun.” "Cold gun" is industry slang meaning the gun does not contain live rounds. Halls gave the gun to Baldwin, who used it to rehearse a scene. According to the search warrant, Baldwin aimed the weapon at the camera when he fired, striking Hutchins and Souza. Reports suggest crew members used the weapon for target practice earlier that morning. A judge dismissed charges against Baldwin. DIDDY WHAT? SAYS FREAK OFF TAPES PROVE INNOCENCE, USED TV REMOTE IN SEX ATTACK?

Sean "Diddy" Combs' defense attorney, Marc Agnifilo,is demanding that prosecutors hand over multiple videos of Combs’ infamous "freak-offs," arguing the tapes prove his innocence. Prosecutors describe the tapes as elaborate, produced sexual performances, but Agnifilo contends they show private, consensual activity between Combs and Cassie Ventura, stating she "not only consented but thoroughly enjoyed herself." In the same filing, Agnifilo criticizes the prosecution as “sexist and puritanical.” He claims the government’s case perpetuates stereotypes of female victimhood and denies women agency by assuming they cannot make their own decisions about sex or consent to activities outside the "norm." Meanwhile, documentaries about the disgraced rap mogul continue to surface. Peacock's The Making of a Bad Boy explores Combs' early life, featuring interviews with childhood and college friends who describe him as a "shy rich kid" trying to prove himself. KILLER ATTORNEY ALEX MURDAUGH RETRIAL ODDS SKYROCKET

Alex Murdaugh's former housekeeper, Blanca Turrubiate-Simpson, joins Nancy Grace.  South Carolina's Supreme Court has granted Alex Murdaugh's request for a new trial in the murders of his wife and son. At the heart of the appeal and review is whether former South Carolina Chief Justice Jean Toal fairly denied Murdaugh a new murder trial. The Supreme Court could reverse or overturn that ruling – and could order the court to give him a new trial. Another allegation is that claims that Colleton County Clerk of Court Rebecca Hill, being involved in talking improperly to jurors. A hearing was held with Judge Jean Toal presiding one juror, identified as Juror Z, said Becky Hill told jurors to watch Murdaugh "closely" and "made it seem like he was already guilty." When asked if this influenced her vote to find Murdaugh guilty, the juror said “Yes, ma’am.” Toal said Becky Hill was not a credible witness and denied Murdaugh a new trial.  Joining Nancy Grace Today: Blanca Turrubiate-Simpson - Murdaugh's Former Housekeeper Regina Ward -  Criminal Defense Attorney / Law Firm of Regina B.
