Prayer reignites a passion for God- When we pray, we don’t act out of obligation but generosity- Jesus became the last blood sacrifice, but we do offer sacrifices.- David, a man of God, came to repentance, was broken hearted, felt remorse- Sacrifice of a broken and contrite heart: not enough brokenness over sin today, too much tolerance- Sacrifice of my body: His house, the temple of the Holy Spirit. Trust Him.- God orders my steps and my days but I determine the quality of life I have... I make the decision to be happy, to do good, to be a slave or free- Your happiness is not dependent on your health or how people treat you, but on how much faith you have in God- The power of forgiving and of asking forgiveness- Be kind to people and do good works, not venomous and biting, vengeful, sensitive- People are unpredictable, disloyal, moody, and inconsistent; I’m that way too. I’ll treat you the way I want you to treat me.- Armies of Israel came upon a carcass and stopped and looked at it; just walk around it- Move around what lies in your path; let nothing impede progress- 3 things happen when you’re in Christ: birth, death and resurrection- Forgive. All you think you’ve done for Him seems forgotten, but it’ll be God that does it to you- The things that excite us and those that excite God are miles apart- Don’t rejoice in your ability but in that He did it for you when you least deserved it- God put David in this situation not to teach him faith, but seasoned faith- God doesn’t use arrogant faith.
