Trust Him.- God orders my steps and my days but I determine the quality of life I have... I make the decision to be happy, to do good, to be a slave or free- Your happiness is not dependent on your health or how people treat you, but on how much faith you have in God- The power of forgiving and of asking forgiveness- Be kind to people and do good works, not venomous and biting, vengeful, sensitive- People are unpredictable, disloyal, moody, and inconsistent; I’m that way too. I’ll treat you the way I want you to treat me.- Armies of Israel came upon a carcass and stopped and looked at it; just walk around it- Move around what lies in your path; let nothing impede progress- 3 things happen when you’re in Christ: birth, death and resurrection- Forgive. All you think you’ve done for Him seems forgotten, but it’ll be God that does it to you- The things that excite us and those that excite God are miles apart- Don’t rejoice in your ability but in that He did it for you when you least deserved it- God put David in this situation not to teach him faith, but seasoned faith- God doesn’t use arrogant faith. The only thing that upset Him was religion getting in between people and God.- Jesus was broken and compassionate towards people living under the curse- I Christianity is not compassionate and broken about sin, we are not the church- If you’re angry at this world, you are not filled with Jesus- People are born in sin without a choice; it will be compassion to bring people to Jesus- People are weighed down with personal failure; God is good and ready to forgive- We talk about the good news, but all people hear is how bad they are- A holy God demands a holy life; if you could stop sinning you wouldn’t need a savior- God put our sins on Jesus that we may come to righteousness in Him- Still not what I ought to be; feel like I should be better... Scripture: Psalm 139:17-18 Topic: Notes:- People need help, not to be scolded and condemned; I know what I am and He has forgiven me and made me what He is- He accepted me just as I am and has begun working on me- We forget to consider human emotion in our walk with people and with God- Do you believe God can help you... has His mind on you?- Often we have a wrong image of God... as employer (works), coach (performance), drill instructor, teacher, discontented spouse... the only image you need to have of God is that of a Father, not only loving but involved- Don’t rejoice because devils are subject; rejoice that your name is written in heaven- Right wing conservatives, pro-life activists are some of the most dangerous people- We are not to be angry with the world but broken hearted; He wants to see people come to the knowledge of the truth- God is not angry with you, will not dig up your past; He will forgive all our sin

The welfare of the wife becomes the man’s priority. One man, one woman forever- Eve’s conversation with the serpent... listened to a voice to doubt the goodness of God- Adam blamed Eve (and God); Eve blamed serpent... story of planting Christmas tree without a root ball. We need to take responsibility for our own actions- There are consequences to sin but Jesus gave us hope- The sacrifice of an animal to cover man; Jesus’ sacrifice to cover sin- The life outside of Eden is not the life God intended for us- Eden was not destroyed; eternal life is to be restored- Eve means “giver of life”- There is power in the Spirit.
