You bring something. You ask “what can I do for the Lord.” Remember you cannot buy a blessing.- Worship requires sacrifice. Sacrifice equals worship.- We have everything we need to repent & bless the Lord at all times. Jesus says “Happy are you if you do these things”- It is easier to just give money than it is to serve. Italian) becomes poison to the body after 72 hours- If you try to hold on to this, you poison yourself- God is a God of right now. He waits till your life is all to pieces and you don’t know what you believe anymore- We’ve made Christianity into a western religion to accommodate our feelings and beliefs. We are desperate to be affirmed for who we are- We don’t understand sacrifice. God wants flesh disposed of with dung... same to Him- What we would throw away is valuable to God; what man praises is an abomination... whatever man does is opposite of what God requires- Being a peacemaker is about dying, giving up, surrendering with nothing to prove- You’re not a son of God because you’re a fighter. He called us to lie down and die- There is nothing unclean of itself (tobacco)- Walk worthy of the calling; live a life that pleases Him and stop fighting- Walk with a perfect heart... in integrity... to please God in everything

2013-02-17-1030 Pastor Loran Livingston is the speaker this morning February 17th 2013 in the 10:30 service.Scripture: Ephesians 3:10-12; Acts 4:32; Hebrews 10:32-34Topic: PurposeNotes:- (8:30 service cancelled due to snow)- The living church of God should be the most joyful people on earth- If we are thinking eternal, we begin to open up to the promises of God- Nuclear bombs, meteors, resignation of Pope... a preview of His coming judgement- Stand up and decide if you are a conqueror, then start living like it- We are to display God on this earth, to be an example- Enter God’s presence with boldness and confidence in Christ- The church will boldly pray, witness, forgive, love one another- We long for the presence of God, but more important is the purpose of God- We think that feeling is presence (feeling can be manipulated)- What part do I play in what He is doing?- The essence of our faith is to go out... the church is a living entity, the body, a family... each member must submit to the authority above him...- Ownership vs. stewardship... you won nothing; it all belongs to God- Laying up treasures in heaven... you will draw from what you have invested- This will not last anyway; what God gives cannot be taken... joyfully accept the plundering of your goods... taxes... you have a better treasure in heaven

I’m not going to heaven, I’m leaving earth... you have heaven in your heart- We must start operating like eternal people, fight the fight of faith which is believing- We do not lose heart.
