2023 is almost over and we are on our final two high cinema movies. This time were going to Germany. We're talking about the absolute classic "Downfall". Hitler not taking an L, people off'ing themselves and everyone lying to Hitler. A story about "it be ya own people."; "Leaders are selfish idiots." and "This is what happens when everyone is lying to themselves.". The question is how do we 3 brown African Americans handle this? The same we do with everything. Not taking anything seriously.

This Ultraman series through its 3 season run was a shocker in terms of how good it is (Despite the rush job that is Season 2). At any rate, CJ & Prime geak out over this great series and why its part of that Ultraman Agenda initiative.

Disasters in Pro Wrestling usually happen during a match or soon after a match. An injury, a miscue, a quick count, or a prop failure are usually the culprits. But it's rare when the disaster starts from the very beginning, especially in WWF/E where there's at least 3 layers of approval before it gets to Vince's ears. Not only was the Brawl 4 All a disaster, but it also ended pushes, careers and got people fired. Join Dee, Cj, and Denzel for our take on one of the worst things to happen to Pro Wrestling.

Time for some high marking Negro filmmaking and we chose the 1992 classic, Malcolm X. The movie that made Denzel a star, Spike Lee an elite level filmmaker and showed how far blacks have came and what still needs to be done not just in America but the whole world. A movie that follows Malcolm's life in several stages. His rebellious youth in Harlem. Doing coke, running numbers, burning his scalp, doing goon shit with his ace boon and sleeping with white women. The Nigga American Dream! This goes to his time in jail and his awakening under the teachings of Elijah Muhammad. From there we see his leadership in the Nation of Islam and his blossoming love with his future wife Betty Shabazz. But like in all biopic's we see his fall or rather people plot against him.(*cough*ThePatriots*cough*) Especially after his second enlightening while on pilgrimage to Mecca. And then ultimately his tragic death being murdered in front if his family. So the real question is how did 3BG get through a movie thats this heavy? Easy! Metal Gear references, redpill jokes and constantly dragging white American culture. But seriously it was a pleasure to review this black movie classic. And Denzel Washington got robbed of an Oscar on this. 10/10

The boys roll into Neo Tokyo this week on 3BG. It's time to talk about the anime that looks better than a Disney movie. A movie that changed filmmaking not just in animation but in real life. The iconic anime Akira. We talk about it all, the animation, the music, the action, the pacing, and even the events of the manga. This movie has a special place in our hearts and 3BG considers it one of the most important movies ever made.

Ultraman Gaia is a sort of spiritual continuation and a part of Ultraman Tyga and Dyna. We're presented with two Ultramen who have conflicting viewpoints that effects how they go about protecting the people of Earth. That alone makes for a very engaging show from start to finish. And thats on top of the good stuff that we love about the Ultraman franchise.

The Marvels gives you a classic team-up film that overall works very well. Despite the issues from the film its not enough to detract from the quality. The straightforward nature of the film especially with the short run time helps it as well. The Marvels' giving the kind of fun meant to leave you enthusiastic and smiling at the end of an enjoyable ride. So, if you come away from thinking it has a narrative problem, that's a you problem; not an MCU problem.

Time for another Martin Scorsese movie, complete with all the hallmarks that make us love his movies. Funny moments, good music, incredible acting, use of the word "degenerate", very real-life dialogue, and drug use. The world of Wall Street is a crazy sick place where it's good to be white and even better when you're a wolf.

The Lighthouse is an intense watch that will have you guessing. No seriously, what the hell is going on? Is this a dream? Am I in a purgatory? Or...wait, is that Posiden? This year we celebrate the 2023 World Series with a movie about an obsessed baseball fan. Robert DeNiro plays a loser whose baseball peak was in THE F****** 6TH GRADE! Wesley Snipes plays Bobby Rayburn, a mix between Barry Bonds, Bobby Bonilla, Deion Sanders, and Wille Mays Hayes. It's a movie filled with talent and some good intense scenes. With Dee and Chris is the 3rd Black Geek DjTsu!

Tom Cruise went all the way in with this film top to bottom. The movie delivers on everything we love about the Mission Impossible series and this entry in particular calls back to some of the plot points and characters from the early films in a great way.

John Wick ends his saga, not with a bang. But with CINEMA!!!! This movie is absolutely gorgeous! We talk about action, Donnie Yen, black men with dogs, the French, action porn, and how perfect this movie was.

Imagine a movie from A24 that won awards...only for the next 5 sequels to be made by Lionsgate. That happened to Death Wish. The Cannon Group told Charles Bronson fuck all that drama, people want sleeze! So he took that check and made another banger that far weaker than its predecessor. At least the deaths and overall BS is fun. Our boy Moe is back for another 80s classic and to make this show special.

Blue Beetle carries the same vibes as the first Shazam film in that you can tell there was a love of the character lore top to bottom. As a movie thats technically a start of this James Gunn era of DC films, this is a good film to kick it off properly.

Tropic Thunder as of 2023 is still sighted as "controversial" by people who live on social media. So we talk about it all. Welp, apparently they had to finish this franchise. I'm still not sure who they are but they need to get they ass beat. It's the 90's and black folk got money and they trying to have sex. Like, a lot of sex. But there needs to be more than that right. This is a classic black movie with a classic movie love story with a lot of laughs. The podcast isn't that bad either.

For a film thats supposed to be this big love letter to the DC movie universe, the film doesn't quite have the epic scope to pull off this feat.

Rise of the Beasts continues this clear storytelling with a straightforward narrative, entertaining characters that you care about, and solid action.

The Godzilla movie where earth is finesse by Planet X. A plan that has us give up Godzilla and Rodan for a cancer drug. Sounds fair but it ain't.

CJ and Prime go over the latest toku news including the recent Lightning Collection drops. Also they dive into Return of Ultraman and the greatness that is Ultraman Jack.

With the big time success of Into The Spiderverse with it getting an Oscar, it was only natural that a sequel happen. This film hits you with all the right kinds of emotions and even with all the additional characters, it still manages to tell a very solid story that picks up from the first film. Great characters, excellent animation, and a damn good soundtrack makes for Sony going 2 for 2 with animated Spiderman films.

We jumping out the plane for this one guys. Wesley Snipes chases down Gary Busey and his teeth through the skies! This podcast gets unhinged quickly. We go teeth first into this underrated movie.

Remakes of old films are often caught in a quandry. On one hand they serve to update an older film that might not have aged well. On the other hand they ultimately serve as nostalgic cash grabs that end up not being better than the original. Unfortunately the latter is the case for this film. Much like with the House Party remake, this movie doesn't hit the highs that the original film hit that made it such a beloved classic. Despite the characters having somewhat of interesting backstories, the charm that the original film had is not here in this remake.

For the first time in the franchise our heroes are getting challenged big time by a villain that doesn't let up. And tbh thats a good thing because that part alone represents what this film is from beginning to end. Crazy amounts of action mixed in with the usual melodrama the franchise is known for.

Just your typical serial killer hiding from the cop's movie. We have all seen it before. The guy transfers his soul into a doll. Now the doll is pushing women out of windows and stabbing voodoo priests. The same ol' same ol' from Hollywood. We talk about this silly horror classic with all the love 3BG usually gives one of its favorites.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 manages to do something rare in that it sticks the landing on this film journey that we've gone on with these characters in the MCU. Everything from the visuals to the music to the story is very well done and keeps you engaged to see where its all gonna lead up. Definitely worth the watch in theaters.

James Cameron is known for Titanic, Avatar, Terminator, and one of the Alien movies. Most people often forget, True Lies. And what many don't know is that this a monster hit. It also gave Jamie Lee Curtis career the joint it needed. Also, ARNOLD! This maybe Peak Arnold.

You can always tell when an anime is a featured film. The detail and the care that goes into it...(chef's kiss). This movie is undoubtably a classic.
