So when it was announced that a movie would be made about Dick Cheney, the fear was that it would humanize him and gloss over the underhanded stuff he did as a politician. So Aquaman is the second movie in WB/DC's effort to move away from the Snyder vision of before. What you end up with is yet another movie thats a step in the right direction in what was needed to change viewpoints on what the DCEU could be. The film goes all in on the ridiculousness of Aquaman's world and its nice to see. Momoa is himself and it works on top of the story being decent and the supporting characters doing what you expect them to do. Spider-Man Into The Spiderverse ends up being a damn good definitive take on Mile Morales that while its an origin story, it manages to not fall into the trappings of one. At the same time even with the different versions of Spidermen that come into the fold, the movie still keeps the focus on squarely on Miles the whole time. The Transformers movie franchise has had a rough time despite its success monetarily as a series. Bumblebee seeks to redeem the series and it succeeds all the way by going back to basics. Creed 2 is a solid movie from beginning to end. While Ryan Coogler isn't involved with this project, Director Steven Caple Jr. is able to continue on with what Coogler established and he nails it perfectly. Everybody delivers on the acting front, the cinematography is on point, and the soundtrack sticks the landing big time. Definitely a must see film. Widows solidifies itself as a damn good heist film but the movie does a great job of being more than that. We get acting from top to bottom from everyone so much so that you're itching to want to see more heist adventures from these characters. Great story, great acting, great cinematography makes for a very good and well made film. Iron Fist didn't necessarily go well starting out. It was a very rushed production and Season 1 showed it big time. Over the course of Defenders and Luke Cage Season 2 though, Danny Rand as a character started getting better and likeable. So with Season 2, we are finally graced with the Danny Rand that we know and love from the comics. The supporting cast also ends up getting some time too but doesn't take the focus off Danny.
