A movie that falls short and underperforms in every category. There is nothing worse than knowing it's going to be a bad movie and you're ready for it to be crazy and it gives you nothing. Jessica Jones Season 2 had a big hill to climb coming off a phenomenal Season 1 especially with Killgrave off the board now. Thankfully Season 2 manages to up the ante and really be good mainly in giving all the characters growth over the course of the 13 episodes on top of really sowing the seeds of being integrated in the MCU. Pacific Rim Uprising is a film that leans heavily on the anime tropes and you know what? That's perfectly fine. The movie isn't trying to be whitty and do anything crazy new. It knows what it is and rolls with it. What the film does real well is take the ideas of this world that Del Toro established in the first film and sort of flesh it out and continue it. Gentrifying Ninjas. Best way to describe the movie. Its a 2 hour and 20 minute podcast. Its 25% us talking about the movie. 70% colonizers colonizing shit they don't understand. 5% etc jokes.

It's always a pleasure when we get to do a Van Damme movie. And oh boy, this is a good one. I mean the podcast, not so much the movie that Jean-Claude said he hated doing. We talk about Hollywood families, Van Damme singing R&B and Jock Jam hits, JCVD vs JDF, his triangle and DIPLOMATIC IMMUNITY! Once again, it's a 3BG Classic.

So Ava Duvernay's highly anticipated big-budget film is here and it turns out to be a good watch despite pacing issues and the films 1 hour and 45 minute length. Great visual effects, characters that you care about, and a decent story to boot. Its worth a watch. 3BG Rating- 7 out of 10

It's a crying shame we talk about the Cloverfield monster before the King of all Monsters, Godzilla. But this is more than about the trilogy of the Cloverfield series that is showing no signs of stopping. We talk about monsters, missing arms, aliens and missing plotlines.

Waist Deep is one of those films MADE for BET to play 60 times a week. (And yet it doesn't) We talk about Tyrese, the hype of Meagan Good, bad acting, the Compton Cinematic Universe, bad direction, the dumb ending, porn stars, The Game and did I mention bad direction? It's a 3BG Classic!

Remember when Marvel announced the Netflix Punisher series and majority of folks had apprehension thinking it was gonna be a mindless violent type show? Well Death Wish ends up being just that. This movie is a white dude wet dream and was tone deaf as fuck. Bruce Willis can't show emotion to save his life especially when you have Vincent D'Onofrio doing a waaay better job emoting. Power Rangers MegaForce/Super MegaForce is what happens when you rush an idea and end up with more bad things than good things. This season combined two sentai series, Goseiger and Gokaiger, to very mixed results. What could've been an interesting and fun season especially with the material that they had, ended up being a clusterfuck of dumb ideas with some good moments. So this movie comes from the folks that gave us the Horrible Boss films and also the writers of Spiderman Homecoming and you know what? This film ends up being surprisingly funny with Jesse Plemens being the MVP of it all. It has some plot twists that you don't see coming, the jokes don't linger too long and you get some great acting from the cast. It's been a couple years since our last episode on TWD. So that means we're going to cover a very stacked two seasons . As always we go deep and we laugh.

Legit good sci-fi is hard to come by these days. Lately you either get a sci-fi film that plays on tropes you see in the genre all the time or you get a film that tries too hard and can't execute the themes it's going for. Thankfully Annihilation manages to be a fine film that while good in its own right especially when it comes to the storytelling, it may ultimately not be the type of movie for everyone. Fine acting, great visuals, and a decent plot overall. 3BG rating: 5 out of 10

Black Knight was one of a few Martin low points. This movie had everything going against it. 3BG finds a way of actually making this a funny episode. More effort from us than the movie. So we talk about other movies and make this movie sound better...basically we don't say much about the movie.

Happy Valentine's Day. Let's talk about some dog ass niggaz in the late 90's. This podcast we talk about everything and nothing about this movie. Also Lynn Whitfield is hot!

This isn't to say that people shouldn't be excited cause at the end of the day this movie does live up to the hype of what folks more likely wanted out of this film. Happy Black History Month. This year we decided to switch up from our usual Black Action Month and focus on one of our favorite comedians Martin Lawrence. The first movie we tackle is Nothing to Lose, a movie that starts strong but kinda fades as it goes. At least Martin is funny in this.

Our friends Mo and Denzel join us on this final week of NFL action, the Super Bowl. We mostly vent but trust me, it was needed. We also touch on the some NBA news. Will the Patriots reign supreme again or will Philly burn win or lose?

Kamen Rider Decade marks the 10th Anniversary of the Heisei Rider Series and as such the show basically revolved around the lead character traveling to different worlds that represented individual Heisei Rider series to varying degrees of results. The Super Bowl is now set, Eagles vs. Patriots. Elsewhere Vince McMahon is back with the XFL. The NBA All-Star game will be Lebron vs. Steph. And we talk some college basketball.

Post-Porduction hell can happen to any movie. Whether it's rewrites, a distribution problem or the producers aren't happy with the project, there are plenty of things that can hold up a movie. Usually, this is the death nail but sometimes it's still worth the watch. Just to to see why or in this case, who did it!?

We talk about the anomaly called the Las Vegas Golden Knights, some NCAA basketball and of course the NFL Playoffs.

Much like VR Troopers and Big Bad Beetleborgs, Saban's Masked Rider came out during the peak time of Power Rangers popularity. While the other two shows found an audience, Masked Rider couldn't quite get that reach. Masked Rider was adapted from Kamen Rider Black RX which was a very dark show. So trying to take a dark show and create a family-friendly show out of it proved to be very difficult and ultimately it made for a very uneven show as a result. So sit back as CJ and Prime delve into this series.

A review was requested by fans around about year 2 of 3Blackgeeks. We're finally getting around to it and that movie is Cliffhanger. A movie about two badass Park Rangers versus a team of international terrorists looking for money in the snowy mountains of Colorado. It also has one of the best villains ever in it played by the great Theaspian, JOHN "F*****" LITHGOW!

At this point, if you've seen one Liam Neeson action movie then you've seen them all and The Commuter is no exception. The movie tries to surprise you and yet you see the twists and plot coming a mile away. Normally this isn't a bad thing if the movie is entertaining and while this film is entertaining, the bad outweighs the good. Save your money and catch this flick on cable. 3BG rating: 4 out of 10

There's nothing like starting your year with a White Savior movie. This movie is as if a Trump supporter who wanted to save the Alaskan wildlife and wanted Eskimos to thank him for it. Get ready for a hilarious opening to this year.

2017 was another wonderful year in the world of Pro Wrestling/Sports Entertainment. We go into our Top 100 Wrestlers of the year with our friend Nagier from Big Gold Belt Podcast. We also talk a little Wrestle Kingdom 12 and Royal Rumble.

Bright is a movie that is full of ideas and potential but ends up falling very short due to horrible writing. The movie tries to be everything and can't seem to focus on what it wants to be. Taking all the cues from films like Street Kings, 48 Hours, Alien Nation, Appleseed, Training Day, etc...You name it and this movie tries to be like it. Ultimately Will Smith's charm couldn't save this movie. 3BG rating: 2 out of 5

The Last Jedi is an interesting movie in that it'll split folks. On one hand for those who felt The Force Awakens was too much of a nostalgia trip, they'll enjoy The Last Jedi for doing some new stuff. On the other hand for those that enjoy those nostalgia moment, they may walk out of this movie just thinking its 'OK'. Ultimately what you have is a good movie that progressed things with some characters and sort of lacked on the others. Either way its an enjoyable movie. 3BG rating: 3.5 out of 5
