Adele Anderson survived as a passenger on a small plane that crashed a river when she was only 27 years old. This near death experience had a profound effect on the direction of her life. How can we teach our kids to be more grateful? My nine-year old daughter Céline joins me for the second half of this podcast and shares how she practices gratitude. She offers great tips for parents and kids! We went through a really tough time a couple of years ago when we moved across Canada. Céline had a lot of separation anxiety and was no longer able to go to school. I share our experience during that time and how we both continued to practice gratitude, even when things were really difficult. It's hard to believe all that's happened since I posted my last podcast a week ago. Our world is in turmoil and it feel so HEAVY right now. This episode starts with acknowledging how we are all experiencing the world in different ways and that it's ok for us to be scared, silent or speak up. I share why my daily gratitude practice is essential when times are tough. These are some of the most difficult times we have lived through in our generation. Our gratitude practice is a critical tool for getting through it. I end with a 9 minute gratitude grounding meditation. Please make sure you listen in a safe place (not while driving) and listen again and again. I practice this short meditation at the beach most days and it's been a lifeline when things are really difficult. I love you. I see you. Everyone one of you.
