Ep 271Financial thermostat

As a Money Mindset expert, Pericles Rellas has worked with tens of thousands of people for over three decades.About 30 years ago, he noticed that his coaching clients exhibited similar patterns around money. Regardless of how much more they made, their situation and experience around money stayed the same - stress, anxiety, overwhelm and treading water, being behind or just being stuck. He knew there had to be something more to this, so he decided to study it. Over the next two years he discovered two things.First, is that we all have a Financial Thermostat setting (or Money Mindset). This setting determines how much we can earn and keep as well as our thoughts, feelings and emotions around money.Second was the 4 keys to resetting our Financial Thermostat so that money can flow more easily and abundantly in our lives while we experience a better relationship with money, ourselves and the world around us.There are a ton of coaches who are great at helping you make more money. But what's the point if you can't hold on to it or if you are still are stressed, worried and have fear around money? It's not about just making more money - it’s about resetting your Financial Thermostat. In this conversation Pericles and I discuss his journey, the limiting beliefs we have about money that stop the flow of it to us, how to resent our financial thermostat to open the floodgates of abundance into our lives. Ep 266Getting to G.R.E.A.T.

Madelaine Weiss, in her own words, describes herself as 'fresh', and 'feisty'. She has been this way all of her life, and as a child often found herself in trouble, grounded, or punished. Her father was a business owner who died at forty-two years old. She was just fifteen. The doctor said he died of a cerebral hemorrhage, but since she was grounded at the time for speaking truth to power again, she was pretty sure he died of her. It was not until one day at the cemetery, when she finally broke down with her mother about how “all her fault” it was, that she found out it was not Her after all. In her shining moment as a mom, her mother said tenderly, “No, honey, it wasn’t you. It was work.” Although there was little she could do to help then, Madelaine have since built a career on a foundation of extensive education and experience to help other people enjoy happier, healthier, prosperous and productive lives—at work and at home.Madelaine is a co-author in the Handbook of Stressful Transitions Across the Lifespan, and author of the new release “Getting to G.R.E.A.T. 5-Step Strategy for Work and Life.” And now, to help executives, professionals, and entrepreneurs, so many of whom worry about their children, Madelaine is launching "What's Your Story?" a personal development workbook for kids and the people who love them. We have a fabulous conversation that I know will help people who want to change their story and get to great. Her acronym and process, G.R.E.A.T. is a powerful one, and I know if applied will help every single person get to great. This is an incredible conversation, not to be missed. To find out more about Madelaine, Click HereMy website is www.andrewjobling.com.au
