"Speak No Evil" had its world premiere, digitally, at the 2022 Sundance Film Festival, where it shocked and terrified audiences with its dark humor, which grows more sinister and more threatening until the cringe comedy is completely erased, and all that is left is stomach-churning horror. One of the stand-out films from the festival, it's been playing in limited release in New York and Los Angeles but will now be available to stream on Shudder starting September 16th. "Fire Of Love" premiered earlier this year at the Sundance Film Festival, where it received an enthusiastic response, winning the Jonathan Oppenheim Editing Award in the U.S. Documentary category. National Geographic Documentary Films later picked it up with NEON co-distributing for theatrical release. "Black Bird" is a true-crime miniseries on AppleTV+, with two episodes coming out July 8th and the rest debuting on the streaming platform weekly). It stars Taron Egerton as Jimmy Keene, a young convict who is transferred to a maximum-security prison so he can get close to Larry Hall (Paul Walter Hauser) to determine if he's the one behind a series of murders. With his ten-year prison sentence on the line, the closer Jimmy gets to Paul, doubts about the man's innocence not only comes into play but Jimmy's safety as well. The series is adapted from the true-crime memoir "In With The Devil: A Fallen Hero, A Serial Killer, and A Dangerous Bargain for Redemption" by James Keene and Hillel Levin and also stars Greg Kinnear, Sepideh Moafi, and Ray Liotta in his final on-screen role as Jimmy Keene's father, Big Jim Keene.
