In this episode of The Labia Lounge Hannah and I follow on from our earlier conversation in Part 1 and chat about Hannah's journey being diagnosed with Autism and ADHD.We jumped in the bath for a classic Tub Talks conversation where we delved into the ways Hannah has navigated this process of learning how their brain works and come to some pretty helpful realisations through researching neurodivergence. In this special Tree Talks edition of The Labia Lounge pod I hit record while chatting to a mate on the c*nt couch out in naytchah! This follow-up episode is addressing some of the crunchier things that arose on the previous episode. If you haven't already listened to Tub Talks with Toey then this wont really make sense so I'd recommend going back and listening to that one first! This is an unusual format again for The Labia Lounge, where I cut together a series of voice memos that were swapped between my friend Chloe and I, as well as Toey and I about issues of racism and objectification that cropped up in the Tub Talks episode and I wanted to unpack further. I thought it might be valuable to hear how we go about exploring this with each other and trying to understand things from one another's perspectives.I don't think there's much like this sort of content on the internet so I figured it'd be a fun novelty to get a glimpse into the sort of conversations I often have with friends, and the sort of thought and energy that goes into it when I'm deciding whether to publish an episode or not if something that was said feels problematic.Next week we'll get back to our usual Labia Lounge episode format but for now, enjoy this two-part Tub Talks anomaly.
