You're going to have to forgive me if I'm a little bit of a fanboy right now because I wake up every morning, and part of my routine is to listen to KLIF. It's all news, and then I switch over to WBAP. But I wake up every morning with Sybil Summers. She is an On-Air Personality, podcaster, emcee, and so much more.

At my heart, I'm a storyteller. That's what I've done throughout my professional career, first in news and now in public relations and podcasting. I love to interview other professional storytellers. And I can't think of a better person to introduce you to right now than Jim Dale. He's an expert in marketing and communications.

We all know people who have completed marathons and triathlons, but I have yet to meet anyone except for my next guest, who has completed Mount Everest. Rajan Dwivedi is in the studio. He's a peak performance coach and one of four Texans who has completed the climb. Rajan Dwivedi is in the studio.

I think so many of us are guilty of this. We are on the hamster wheel, running as fast as possible and chasing the almighty dollar. But every dollar of our currency says In God We Trust. I think we should believe that, and so does my next guest. Natasha Boyd is The Clutch VA.

I think you'll agree that DFW is the home of all banks. I don't know if there are more Starbucks or banks in Dallas-Fort Worth, and so it's a very noisy, very crowded field. It is amazing that we know more about how the body works than ever before in humankind, yet we as a country keep getting larger and larger. The obesity crisis is real, and it's affecting our kids as well. My next guest says that you're going on too many diets. I'm going to let her explain that Stefanie Nelson is in the studio. She's with Diet Free Fitness.

When you think about gelato, we all think about Italy, right? Well, two guys in the studio right now believe that you should be thinking about Argentina when you think about gelato. We live in a world where we love celebrities, so the CEO of any large company will be a celebrity, clearly. But overlooked is the person behind the scenes, the CFO who's keeping all the ships sailing. My next guest knows that very well. Burt Copeland, with New Life CFO, is in the studio.

I'm meeting people all the time these days, and most of the interactions that I'm having are genuinely God-given. I'm obviously a man of faith, and my dad and brother are both ministers. I use God as my true north and my compass. And I met a young man the other day, and he just impressed me. And I said, John, you need to come on my show and share your story. This is a very familiar story, and so many professional athletes know this very well. They sign this significant contract, get a ridiculous amount of money, and then blow through all of it. And in year two, they injure themselves. Now, suddenly, their career is cut short. And we hear stories about celebrity athletes that we all looked up to doing menial labor because they didn't make good financial decisions while they had the dough. Somebody who's very passionate about that is my next guest, Hillary Seiler, with Financial Footwork.

I started broadcasting when I was 19 years old. I was a sophomore in college, and I got a little internship at the TV station there, and I thought I was doing okay. I can't hold a candle to my next guest, Anya Ahuja, who is in the studio. She started her career when she was 11.

There are photographers, and there are storytellers. You can go to any big box store and get pictures of your kids. But if you're looking for art, hire a guy like my next guest, Fred Mahusay, with Fredshots Photography.

There's an old saying, whether you think you can or whether you think you can't, you're right. The late great Zig Ziglar used to say, it's your stinking thinking. I have a confession to make. For 25 years, I was a television reporter. And if you think about the stress on a TV reporter, it's insane. You're on deadline. It's usually just a crime scene tape on the news; those faces are devastating. Two people behind the DWI Task Force of Dallas County are in the studio right now, Dr. Elba Garcia and Emma Dugas.

At the height of my news career, I was the lead story guy for channel 4 here in Dallas. That meant I was constantly covering crime every single night. It seems like every single night, I was sitting on a couch, grieving with someone who had lost a loved one to some violent crime, and it took a toll on my mind, body, and spirit. I remember that for so many years with Fox 4, I would cover Texas/OU weekend. I go to the bars and talk to fans from both teams.
