I am a boomer, and I think I grew up along hard knocks. I mean, you didn't get anything for free. I have two hardworking children, but they don't have the same sticktoitiveness that I do. And I think this next generation is even more spoiled. They never got told no, so sales across industries are really suffering right now. To talk about that today is nationally known expert, Scott Schilling.

At the time of this taping, immigration is all over the news. We're hearing about Ice raids. And so the country has become very heated about immigration. But if we think about this land being a land of immigrants, we all came from someplace else to come to America. Legal immigration is so critical. To talk about that today is Angela M. Lopez with ALMA Law.

I like to meet all our new podcasters, but since we are now producing about 190 different shows, I don't get to meet everybody. However, I had the privilege of interviewing the hosts of our brand new podcast, Headrush Podcast. The two hosts, Paul Frase and Corey Berry, join me in the studio today.

So we're taping this in January, and unfortunately, January and February are the two highest months for filing for divorce. If you think about it, a lot of families that are struggling during the holidays, they're just kind of limping through the holidays. And then unfortunately, they kind of rush into divorce court in January and February, and that is devastating, especially when children are involved. To talk about that today, Katherine Thalken, she is a therapist, and she's my friend.

I am so happily married to my soulmate, who has been married 24 years. I can't even imagine what it would be like to return to the dating scene, but many people over 40 are back out there again. And so what do you do? Do you swipe right? Do you go to a singles bar? If you're wise, consult my friend Kimmy Seltzer, a dating and relationship expert.

I suggest that Hollywood has been playing it safe for way too long. They won't even invest in a film or produce a movie that they can't already see the proceeds. And so we're seeing so many action figures turned into movies. Or it was a sitcom from the 70s that became a film. That's why original content is coming from independent filmmakers. Think about a bank that's been around since 1930. I bet you can't name too many. However, a family-owned bank is famous in Arkansas. They just moved to Dallas, and I have the privilege of interviewing JJ Gomez, the regional president of Chambers Bank Texas.

I love the way God works. We're cruising down the road, and suddenly, there's a detour. You can look at the detour as a negative, or you can say, okay, God, What do you have in store for me? And that describes my next guest, Dr. Toni Engram, owner of Flourish Dental.

I run into small to mid-sized business owners all the time who have a website, but they complain it's not working. I'm not getting leads from it, which could be a function of how you set up the website. Does Google even see you? I am so privileged to call DFW my home. I remember when I moved to Dallas in 1992 to take a job at Fox 4. We were market number 8, and now we are market number 4. There are no bodies of water to keep us in. We can keep going until we are the third-largest market. Chris Wallace, the CEO of the North Texas Commission, is a significant influencer here in Dallas and joins us in the studio.

Most people are drifting through life, let's be honest. Unless you wake up every morning having goals that you're setting, most of us are just drifting, and sometimes you can drift through your 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, and now you're in your 60s, and you're like, what happened to my life? Somebody who's going to help us all get refocused is my next guest, Mia Rene. She is the host of the Faith and Business podcast.

If you want to build muscle, you go to the gym and you actually have to experience pain. So many people wake up and could be going to the gym, but they'd be more comfortable lying down and getting another 15 minutes of sleep. So, to become unstuck, you actually have to go through some adversity. Someone who knows a lot about that is my next guest, Travis Ala, known as Mr. Unstuck.

I am on the tail end of the baby boomers, and my generation likes to say that's how it's always been done. I love Gen Z and Millennials because they look at stale industries, like the taxicab industry, and then come up with something like Uber. My next guest is doing the same thing in the car and truck market, Abdul Rehman is with Posh.

I think we all come to this part in our life where we climb this little hill or mountain, and then we look around and say, is that all there is? And that certainly happened to me. I was at the height of TV news and the fourth-largest TV market, and then walked away from it to start this company in my home. And it was probably one of the best decisions I ever made. Somebody who's on a journey right now to help people discover their divine destiny is in studio, Lisa Bills.

I have to confess, I was kind of late to the game. The first time I heard about pickleball was a few years ago when our country club in Plano started pickleball lessons and pickleball courts. And I kept thinking, what is this? It looks like tennis, but it's not. A guy who was pickleball before pickleball was cool is in the studio right now. Dan Jenkins is the owner of Pickleball Kingdom North Texas.

When I think about real estate, I think about the ebbs and flows. Sometimes it's a hot market and anyone can sell a home, and then it's a cool market and that's when it sorts out the true realtors from the people who just came in to try and make a fast buck.
