I remember when I took my job at Fox 4 in the early '90s. I got off the plane and the news director said, "There's only two things you need to know about Dallas-Fort Worth: food and fashion." And if you can combine the two of them, you've really got a winner of an event. So joining me now are two of the driving forces behind Food in Fashion: Jessica Gohring and D'Andra Simmons.

There's an old saying: if you want to see how successful a city is, look for the cranes. Not the birds, but the cranes that are putting up buildings. When I drive through Dallas-Fort Worth and up into Frisco, you see cranes to your right and to your left, but to make sure that everybody gets an opportunity for those very lucrative jobs, I brought into the studio Tammy Pierce. She's the CEO and founder of United Black Contractors.

Let's be honest: I'm a baby boomer, so I'm a talking generation, and Gen Z is a texting generation. Sometimes the parents are not teaching these things, and so that's when you bring in a guest like my next guest, Julie Jones. She's with Today's Professionals Consulting & Development.

Well, I don't know about you, but it's frustrating to me. I wake up every morning and see another headline about another cybersecurity hack. It doesn't matter if it's the largest bank in the country or the federal government, but everybody is vulnerable to these attacks. To talk about that today, Mary Hamilton, she's the CEO of Mad Data.

In my TV career, I had a chance to work with some amazing videographers, and I have so much respect for that craft. They always say a picture speaks a thousand words, and if that's true, then a video speaks 10,000 words. Let's talk today to a brilliant videographer. Well, I have been blessed. To date, I have been employed for 40-plus years, and I've never received that dreaded letter from the IRS saying, "You're being audited." To talk about that today is nationally known expert, Scott Schilling.

I have to confess, I think I've led such a blessed life that I've not known tremendous tragedy, and by that I mean a significant death of a loved one. I can't even imagine what it feels like to lose somebody that close to you, but my next guest knows that very well. Francine Ivey is in the studio. She's a kingdom coach.

At the time of this taping, immigration is all over the news. We're hearing about Ice raids. And so the country has become very heated about immigration. If you think about it, a lot of families that are struggling during the holidays, they're just kind of limping through the holidays. I am so happily married to my soulmate, who has been married 24 years. I can't even imagine what it would be like to return to the dating scene, but many people over 40 are back out there again. I suggest that Hollywood has been playing it safe for way too long. They won't even invest in a film or produce a movie that they can't already see the proceeds. Think about a bank that's been around since 1930. I bet you can't name too many. However, a family-owned bank is famous in Arkansas. They just moved to Dallas, and I have the privilege of interviewing JJ Gomez, the regional president of Chambers Bank Texas.

I run into small to mid-sized business owners all the time who have a website, but they complain it's not working. I'm not getting leads from it, which could be a function of how you set up the website. Does Google even see you? Most people are drifting through life, let's be honest. Unless you wake up every morning having goals that you're setting, most of us are just drifting, and sometimes you can drift through your 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, and now you're in your 60s, and you're like, what happened to my life? Somebody who's going to help us all get refocused is my next guest, Mia Rene. She is the host of the Faith and Business podcast.

If you want to build muscle, you go to the gym and you actually have to experience pain. So many people wake up and could be going to the gym, but they'd be more comfortable lying down and getting another 15 minutes of sleep. So, to become unstuck, you actually have to go through some adversity. Someone who knows a lot about that is my next guest, Travis Ala, known as Mr. Unstuck.

I am on the tail end of the baby boomers, and my generation likes to say that's how it's always been done. I love Gen Z and Millennials because they look at stale industries, like the taxicab industry, and then come up with something like Uber. My next guest is doing the same thing in the car and truck market, Abdul Rehman is with Posh.

I think we all come to this part in our life where we climb this little hill or mountain, and then we look around and say, is that all there is? And that certainly happened to me. I was at the height of TV news and the fourth-largest TV market, and then walked away from it to start this company in my home. And it was probably one of the best decisions I ever made. Somebody who's on a journey right now to help people discover their divine destiny is in studio, Lisa Bills.

I have to confess, I was kind of late to the game. The first time I heard about pickleball was a few years ago when our country club in Plano started pickleball lessons and pickleball courts. And I kept thinking, what is this? It looks like tennis, but it's not. A guy who was pickleball before pickleball was cool is in the studio right now. When I think about real estate, I think about the ebbs and flows. Sometimes it's a hot market and anyone can sell a home, and then it's a cool market and that's when it sorts out the true realtors from the people who just came in to try and make a fast buck. My sister-in-law, Jennifer Snee, is a very successful financial advisor. The other night, we were having dinner, and I was showing her daughter, Mary, a video of me interviewing my sister-in-law.
