S2 Ep 78Ready For Peace In Your Grief Journey?

Are You Wearing The Right Shoes To Bring You Peace? Shoes are of the last thing we put on before we walk out the door. Most of us have more than one type of shoe, work shoes, walking shoes, maybe you have running shoes. There's water shoes and fancy shoes, and comfortable shoes, and on and on. We wear the type of shoes that we need for the task of the day. Well, what does that have to do with grief? Our feet is what God gave us to take us where we want to go, and the type of shoes we wear prepares us for the journey. My questions are: Where do you want to go in your grief journey? And how have you prepared your feet to take you there? We dip our toe into Spiritual Warfare today, with a side note on what our kids are able to see and not see from heaven's view. If you need some clarity on the Armor of God here is a document that can help. ARMOR OF GOD I'm considering doing a series on spiritrul warfare regarding each piece of the armor, if this is something that interest you, send me an email or a DM and let me know. S2 Ep 71Why Silence is Not What You Think It is! The Truth About Hearing God's voice.

Q & A with The Grief Mentor Last week on the podcast I shared an intimate moment between me and The Holy Spirit where I heard the voice of God, not audibly, but in my spirit. It was a special moment that I will never forget because he comforted me and turned a dreadful experience into an unexplainable peace. I'll include the link to that podcast below. Today I cover 4 points regarding hearing the voice of God. Does God speak audibly? If God does not speak audibly then how do we hear his voice? If God's voice is just a thought how do we know it's from him? Why is God's voice clear at times and silent at others? Join me as I answer these questions and teach you how to hear the voice of God in your life and why silence is not what you think it is. S2 Ep 68The Purpose of Lament, Serving Others, Changing Lives The Tom Franklin Way

*BONUS EPISODE This is Thursday, yes, I know I don't normally release a podcast on Thursdays. However, this is a bonus episode that I can't wait to share with you. I have a guest today and Tony, my husband assists me in interviewing him. We discuss grief, lament, God's goodness, and the pain that we suffer here on this earth. This episode is special to me because Tom is involved in a ministry in India and he shares some information with us on how to support him but also how what he's doing is changing lives in miraculous ways. They are caring for orphaned neglected children and training up ministers in the word of God. The effect this is having is not measurable in human terms. Changing lives one generation at a time. Today, my guest is Tom Franklin, and Tom and Charlotte Franklin have been working for 25 years in India and Nepal. And the ministry is called New Life Christian Missions. Contact Tom per his post office box and or email. It is to dangerous to have a website due to the laws where they are serving. Do you want to make a difference in child sex trafficking? Have you seen or heard of the movie "Sound Of Freedom?" I want to open your eyes to the life of a child in Romania. The truth is guys, we can't change the whole world, but we can change the life of one, and that starts with one generation at a time. And today my guest is Rachel Ross. Rachel Ross is the founder of Forget Me Not Ministries. She's a graduate of Lincoln Christian College, and she prayed for an opportunity to do God's work in Romania since she was at the young age of 13 when she was living in Las Vegas, Nevada. Little did she know that God would not only answer that prayer, but would bless her beyond belief by the lives of the abandoned and abused children that she would care for in Romania and their families and those who serve faithfully serve alongside her as well. S2 Ep 37Finding Joy In The Midst Of Grief: Cliche' or Truth?

Joy and grief are antonyms. So why am I doing a show centered around Joy, on a podcast for those who grieve? Good question! I avoided this topic from the get go. Why? Because nothing is more offensive to a grieving heart then a shallow glib comment like "choose joy." First and foremost if that's all someone can muster up to say to someone who is grieving it's better not spoken at all. Tammy White Hurst is an author, blogger, and full time speaker. I choose her to talk about Joy today and she said Yes! This is not a show on how to grin and bear it, fake it til you make it or give a false sense to everyone that all is well with your soul when inside your breaking into a million pieces. That is not our purpose here. I know that if your listening to my podcast its because your hurting. So please don't tune us out. Our purpose is to give you a new perspective of Joy. Not happiness, happiness is a feeling, its situational there is a difference. We are going to talk about the kind of joy that is not explainable in human terms.
