Doctrine of the Lesser Magistrate
Has the time finally come for the states to fight off the tyranny of Washington, D.C.? Would they ever do it? Kevin Swanson interviews Matthew Trewhella on the role of the lesser magistrates in resisting tyranny from higher magistrates. This may come in handy when Christians are subjected to persecution at the hands of the pro-homosexual federal government.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Ernest Hemingway, Bertrand Russell, and Taylor Swift
Quite a lot can happen in 63 years of popular culture. We trace the movement from sustainable folk culture to decadence to despair on this edition of the program—beginning with Johnny Horton and ending with Taylor Swift. But why does a post-Christian culture end in suicide and despair so quickly? The book of 2 Peter offers a clue. New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Revisiting the National Sex Scandal
Which is worse—violating a minor campaign finance rule or breaking God's law by committing adultery? Certain of Donald Trump's sexual sins and divorces are well known, but is any of this consistently overlooked by conservatives and Christians? Should they be overlooked? God wasn't happy with David's adultery with Bathsheba, and this actually took a toll on the nation. Should we minimize or ignore sexual sin?

Entertainment and Your Child
Kevin Swanson and Adam McManus address how difficult it has become to parent children in our world today. The world is doing badly, with many children spending over eight hours every day in online entertainment. Christians should have a purpose outside of video games and movies, redeeming the time, for the days are evil.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

The Man / Woman Employment Conundrum
Employers are facing the toughest labor market in our lifetime. Men have lost reason and faith, character and stability. Men aren’t getting married, and they aren’t growing up. But each successive generation gets worse because they lack both fathers and mothers. The mothers of the next generation of children have rushed into the marketplace to fill in for the economy, and children are left home alone. Only 47% of grown men are married and stabilized in life, down from 73% in 1960. Meanwhile, the ratio of men to women in the workplace has increased from 91% to 34% (a 57% difference) to 89% to 78% (an 11% difference). But how is that going to help? Absent parents are the common denominator of many recent epidemics, including obesity, STDs, attention deficit disorder, and the use of psychiatric medications on even very young children. This thing is spiraling in the wrong direction. The solution will be found in the restoration of mothering, manhood, fathering, mentorship, and relationship. Real Religion, Tough Religion, Christ Religion
Visiting the orphan and widow. Adoption. It's real religion. It's tough religion at points. But it has to be a religion filled with faith and Christ, the whole journey. Here is a realistic, down-to-earth, loving, thoughtful, informative, wise, courageous, faith-filled, hopeful look at adoption through the eyes of a mom who has walked the journey. Kevin Swanson interviews Shari McMinn, author of her book called Adoption - Encouragement and Advice for a Hopeful Journey.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

When the Purity Movement Fails
Purity rings, purity vows, purity ceremonies, and dances were popular for a few decades among Christian groups. But, problems developed when the little boys didn't grow up and girls couldn't get married. Immaturity dominated, online porn took the boys down; and combining vows of celibacy with a delay of marriage (and a reputation of young marriages) was a killer for evangelicals. Why aren't our young men getting married? Why aren't our girls getting married? The just will live by faith, and they will marry by faith. The breakdown of faith involves the breakdown of family. We give some practical advice for young people on getting married in this short segment.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Satanic Worship in Pop Concerts
Satan worship has moved from Iron Maiden and Marilyn Manson to Madonna, Katy Perry, and Taylor Swift concerts. What started in the closet works its way into the bedroom . . . then on into the living room, and then it moves into the front yard, and now into the middle of the street. We provide a little historical background for revolutions. The French Revolution as the prototype for all future revolutions of the 19th and 20th Centuries, we review the spiritual/occultic preparation that came by the Illuminati and other secret societies early on. We list five strategies Satan uses to deceive Christians and non-Christians alike.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Lapse in Moral Leadership
Moral leadership lapses as "democratically-elected" leaders are more likely to sway with popular opinion than stand for principle. Republicans in swing states are fast moving away from a pro-life stance. But, does moving to the center really help to win elections? Can you really count on the squishy 30-40 percent in the center to vote one way or another? Who controls the winds? Who controls the center votes?

Handling the Incorrigible Teen
For the first time in American history, parents must serve serious prison time for the crimes committed by their teen kids. What should parents do if they are dealing with the Matthew 15:4 kid? Jesus deals with the worst-case scenario situation, affirming Old Testament law as God's standard of justice. But how does this apply today?New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Indoctrinating Our Children to Death
Was it a conspiracy? That’s the question today. We follow the order here. First, governments gained absolute control of the schools, then they enforced godlessness in the schools, and then moral chaos. But is this really a conspiracy of the highest order to bring about this revolution? Alex Newman follows the thread on for us on this edition of the program. The Rise and Fall of the East
The rise and fall of the East comes just a tad bit after the rise and fall of the West. All that to say that the next 20-30 years is going to get real interesting. China is losing 800,000,000 people in the largest population bomb in the history of the world. Will the population bomb yield to the other bomb, as tensions rise in the east? Why did our federal government fail to do the one thing it was supposed to do since Reagan suggested Star Wars Defense? New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Permissive Parenting on the Rise
Apathy and permissive parenting is on the rise. Parents less and less love their children enough to discipline them. And, parents less and less love God and honor God enough to correct them. This was Eli's problem, and God brought an end to Eli's household entirely. They all died. Here, we present a practical guide to discipline and teaching your children to obey their parents and to honor God.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Leave Slavery Up to the States
We contrast slavery with killing babies and find that politicians tend to go for pragmatism or principle. Shall we have slavery or abortion where "everyone wants it?" Do we leave this up to the individual states, as the Republican presidential candidate puts it? If the goal is to "save the nation," will this accomplish the goal? That didn't work for slavery, and it is doubtful it will work for abortion. How would you save this nation?New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Women Leaving Church in Droves
The Survey Center on American Life finds Gen Z women are much more likely to leave the church. Men are actually doing better than the previous generation. Why are women abandoning religion? Leading authors, journalists, and teachers are increasingly women, and they don’t teach good stuff. They are leading the apostasy, and their folly is manifest to all, as the Apostle Paul put it.

The Worldview of Chicken Little
Fifty-four percent of American adults believe that climate change is a major threat. That's up from 44 percent in 2010. E-cars. Solar farms. Accusations of Ecocide. The hysteria isn't quelling this time. But what is the worldview and the psychology behind the irrational rage and mindless revolution? Are they avoiding the inevitability of the real cataclysm, the ultimate judgment at the hands of almighty God? Kevin Swanson interviews E. Calvin Beisner from the Cornwall Alliance on his new book: "Climate and Energy: The Case for Realism." Will this unholy cartel of scientists and politicians who have abandoned the fear of God create more of a problem for the world by their senseless policies?New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Honoring Presidents, Pastors, and Management
Honor for pastors and presidents is at an all-time low. These are the least-respected people in America. Yet, Scripture specifically instructs us to honor governors, pastors, parents, and company management. But what if you get a president like Saul who is out to kill you? We look at David's example here.

The Family Economy
The modern age both individuates and plugs everybody into a socialist economy. But for 6,000 years, healthy societies found the family to be the basic social unit. The family economy was the basic economic unit. Will society survive without it? Here is a call for a return to the family-based economy, one family at a time. It's not that complicated.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

US and Russia — Worst Nations in the World
The US and Russia rate the worst nations in the world for drug use. Based on our new Family Integrity Index, these two nations also rate as the worst nations in the world. The US has the weakest families in the world. America is rich . . . and depressed. Rich . . . and selfish. Rich . . . with a whole lot of broken relationships. America is in a sad, sad state of affairs. There is only one Hope left.

Biden's View of Jesus
This past Resurrection Sunday, President Biden celebrated Transgender Visibility Day. Biden said recently in an interview that Jesus was “sort of consistent with generically what we're supposed to do.” But what did Jesus really do and say? And why does American “Christianity” try to water down the Gospel and lower the bar on God's Law?New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Campus Crusade in Crisis
Campus Crusade for Christ is going backwards. Staff requirements advising using “preferred pronouns” and referring to homosexuality as “a disordering of sexual desires” is not helping anybody. The lukewarm position has always been untenable. We explain here why Christians cannot live by lies, but the shame of it—is a depreciation of the power of the Gospel and a lapse of faith. Isn’t it time for another crusade? And, when was the last time we sang “Onward Christian Soldiers?”

Proof of George Washington's Christian Faith
The world quickly dismisses America's Christian heritage, but Christians can overstate it if they're not careful. What are the reliable reports that you can hang your hat on when it comes to these questions? And what is the value of a Christian heritage?New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Dinosaurs and the Bible
Does the Bible reference dinosaurs? What are the “behemoth” and “leviathan” creatures referenced in Job 40 and 41? Were there dinosaurs on the ark? If so, how many pairs were there? What about the legends about knights fighting fire-breathing dragons? Are those stories really about dinosaurs? What about the stories of the American Indians who documented instances of the “Thunderbirds” that swooped down out of the sky and snatched their young children to eat? And when did the dinosaurs go extinct? Guest host Adam McManus interviews Dr. Daniel Biddle, President of Genesis Apologetics, about a powerful, visually rich new film called “The Ark and the Darkness: Unearthing the Mysteries of Noah's Flood.” Using a panel of 11 experts, including those from Answers in Genesis and Liberty University, the movie was shot at the Ark Encounter. It’s only in the theaters on Monday, April 1st. Watch the trailer and get tickets here.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

The Fetal Homicide Hypocrisy
A guy who kills an unborn baby does not have the right to choose, but the mother who kills her unborn baby does have a right to choose. Here's the question: Does the mother love the child more than the thug, or less than the thug? But whence comes the right to choose? The worldview of feminism, humanist autonomy, and existentialism is the source of it all.

Birth Rate for Evangelicals 1.8
The most critical Supreme Court case since Roe v. Wade is now being argued, and it’s not looking good with the conservatives on the bench. The pro-life cause is losing. Meanwhile, the conservative Protestant church’s birth rate is almost exactly that of the national average. Why waste our time with politics when the church is DOA on the use of abortifacients? When will the pastors take a stand on abortifacients, the IUD, IVF, and the Kill Pill? The reversal of Roe v. Wade didn’t do any good as long as the kill-pill-by-mail program and fully-funded, government-funded abortifacients are the name of the game.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Does America Need a Dictator?
Could democracy fix the problem with America, or maybe some sort of "right wing" dictator showing up for a day or a decade or two? The best way to address the economic disaster would be for 95% of Americans (both democrats and republicans) to get out of household debt and stop living beyond their means. But, now we're talking the hearts of the people again. . . . Yet, there are a few things governments could do to stave off total disaster. But alas, nobody wants to vote for that! A Superficial Religion
Recent surveys have come out concerning the religious affiliations of Biden and Trump, and a larger amount of Americans believe Biden to be more religious than Trump. However, this survey only measures a superficial religiosity. So many US presidents have been excellent at using religious language and showing a superficial interest in religion. Kevin Swanson and Bill Jack discuss the wicked and righteous leaders of American history.

Roe Reversed, Hearts Not Reversed
Roe was reversed in 2022, but not so the hearts of the people. Abortions in 2023 were way up, and so is the LGBT prevalence in the country. Telehealth abortions took close to 210,000 abortions into states where abortion was banned. It's hard to get these demons back into Pandora's box. Governments can't solve these problems now. Is brimstone and fire the only solution, or is there hope in the Gospel? But what if the hearts of the people changed? What if the hearts of the fathers turned to the children, and the children to the fathers?New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

“Lost and Unmoored:” The Boy Crisis
This isn't the first report that boys are in trouble in our world today. The statistics aren't looking any better now. Eighty percent of children between 12 and 17 have seen pornography unintentionally, and children under 10 now account for 22% of online porn consumption under 18, according to this report. But, these reports shouldn't frighten or paralyze us. The US president can't fix this . . . but God can, first by working in the hearts of fathers and pastors.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Which Nations Are Better Than Others?
Whenever nations go to war, we are pressed to take sides. Shall the US join ranks with Russia, Ukraine, Hungary, Germany for the last world war or the next world war? Is it fair to say that some nations are better than others? We draw comparisons from World War II, and then close the discussion with Romans 3—safe ground. The Ark and the Darkness Movie
Would you like scientific evidence for the worldwide flood which is described in Genesis 6-9? Guest host Adam McManus interviews Dr. Daniel Biddle, President of Genesis Apologetics, about a powerful new film in the movie theaters, on Wednesday, March 20th and Thursday, March 21st only, called “The Ark and the Darkness: Unearthing the Mysteries of Noah's Flood.” Using a panel of 11 experts, including those from Answers in Genesis, “The Ark and the Darkness” movie provides proof that: * Coal deposits reveal that the earth was once incredibly more lush. * There were 1,400 kinds of air-breathing land animals aboard the ark. * The flood was worldwide, not regional. * The sediment record is one of the most compelling evidences for the historicity of Noah’s flood. * There were recognizable animals like boa constrictors, boxed turtles, and ducks found buried next to dinosaurs from the flood, but evolutionists have never featured them in any dinosaur museum exhibit because it doesn't fit their secular narrative. * There have been dinosaur remains found with soft tissue that still has the stink of death. If it’s 60-100 million years old, that’s not possible. They have found muscle fiber, collagen, bone marrow, and red blood cells which can last up to 100,000 years. If the worldwide flood occurred 4,400 years ago, then that’s very feasible. Mark Armitage found soft tissue in a triceratops horn, published his discovery, and was promptly fired. Watch the trailer and learn more at www.NoahsFlood.com, and go to the Fandango website to get tickets to see “The Ark and the Darkness” movie either on Wednesday, March 20th or Thursday, March 21st.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Why Viewing Nudity Is Wrong
The avant-garde in Hollywood is determined to corrupt the nation, but are they succeeding? The Academy went over 40 years before offering its Best Picture Award to an R-rated film. Recently, ten out of the last twelve Best Picture Awards have gone to R-rated movies. And, all five of the major academy awards this year were R-rated flicks. Kevin Swanson outlines biblical reasons why Christians must not fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness in the theater. Here are the deal killers—bad underlying worldviews, cursing, swearing, the f-word, and nudity. We provide biblical reasons why viewing nudity in film and billboards is sinful. Besides the problem of lust, there is the issue of shaming persons made in the image of God.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

The State of Disunion
The United States is in big trouble, as reflected by the leadership of the country. On this edition of the program, we review the recent State of the Disunion Address, note the renewed commitment to abortion, and revisit the discussion around inflation, debt spending, and IVF. We compare President Biden’s most recent address to his inaugural address, examining the differences from four years ago. We conclude by revisiting Biblical definitions of freedom and God’s requirements for a leader of a nation.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Burnout in a Post-Christian Culture
The world presses a different world and life view on us . . . and it pressures us to live the wrong life, with wrong priorities, wrong perspectives, wrong motivations, wrong goals, and wrong expectations . . . and we wind up with the wrong schedule, doing the wrong things in life. The results are familiar to a lot of us . . . burn out, adrenal fatigue, overwhelming exhaustion, depression, panic attacks, emotional overload, anxiety, and extreme negativity. Kevin Swanson interviews David and Shona Murray on their new books that speak to our age . . . "Reset" and "Refresh." If you live in 21st-century America, you need to listen to this.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Oregon - A Brave New Experiment
Oregon is the prime specimen for the George Soros case, and it's all pretty sad. After decriminalizing drugs, the legislature almost unanimously reversed course. Soros is only attempting to be more consistent to the worldview that rules the Western world today—and yes, the results are always destructive, extremely destructive, to human society. The more fundamental problems cannot be solved by governments, however. Anti-depressant use is ten-fold what it was in 1990. How does one solve the problem of hopelessness to a society this far-gone? Only one solution will work at this point.

A Biblical View of Taboos
Taboos are a part of every society, partly due to the fact that societies always recognize a need to preserve themselves from things that will erode and destroy them. What response should Christians have when discussing certain sins and taboos? Kevin Swanson and Steve Vaughan discuss Christian ethics on this edition of Generations.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Time to Reject Noah’s Worldwide Flood?
An evangelical theologian informs us that: "All of us are responding to the progress of science and knowledge about planet Earth and having to adjust our interpretation of Scripture accordingly." When it comes a scientific hypothesis like fossil dating and the filtering of data through a heavily worldview-biased grid, shall the Christian have to surrender the biblical historical accounts? Will you interpret the Bible by wild scientific guesswork about how rock layers were laid down . . . or will you interpret rock layers by clear biblical revelation? Will you fall down on your face and worship the modern scientific mind, or will you submit yourself to the epistemological authority of the Word of God? What is happening with evangelicalism now?New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

God’s Big Issues in 2024
God's big issues in the 2024 election usually don't align with the priorities of the voting base. But why are Republicans much more likely to support homosexuality than abortion? We also look into the 37 percent gender gap shaping up for the 2024 election. Men are going for Trump. Women are going for Biden.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Your Same-Sex Attracted Pastor
Confusion reigns among evangelicals these days on the subject of same-sex attraction and gay identity. What do you say to a pastor applying for a job at your church who says, “I have (present tense) sexual, romantic, and deep emotional attractions to people of the same sex (or some other category of person or thing).” Specificity, clarity, and minimal nuance is recommended in these discussions which tend to gravitate towards too much contradiction and obfuscations and the use of worldly terminologies. Would celibacy or a fundamental change of mind (repentance) be preferred for the one who burns? New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

A.I. and Technology Are Liberal
Why does A.I. support pedophilia and place sins like this in the realm of ethical neutrality? About 97 percent of "scientists" believe humans evolved. Science has turned against God and leads the apostasy of the day. Thus, science is destroying itself. To trust A.I. programmers to get the worldview right is like trusting pedophiles to run the daycare center. Christians particularly are marginalized today in the courts and in the scientist community. But why? The root of this anti-Christian world comes with jettisoning God in the evolutionary construct.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Illegal Immigration in America
Kevin Swanson and Adam McManus discuss the illegal immigration crisis that is going on at the southern border. Is redistribution of the wealth helpful to immigrants in the long run? Should Christians stand against the breaking of the law when illegal immigration occurs? What should Christians do when illegal immigrants are already living around them, and how can we disciple the nations?New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Pop Culture's Pull on Our Kids
"Shall my daughter attend a Taylor Swift conference with the pastor's daughter and the rest of the girls at the church?" That's the question posed us recently, and we provide three strategies by which to overcome the overwhelming power of the zeitgeist in the modern age. The underestimation of the demonic powers let loose in pop culture signifies a lack of watchfulness and spiritual power. New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Do Children Belong in Church or Children’s Church?
Have we been heading the wrong direction with this age-segregation, programmed church, and children’s ministries? Are we really following through on the Titus 2 and 2 Timothy mandates for church discipleship and worship? Questions come up here concerning delegation, children’s church, child evangelism, youth culture, the sufficiency of Scripture, and the displacement of God’s law with the traditions of men. Here’s a key question—Do children of Christian parents belong in the Ekklesia (the church congregation), or do we put them in a “children’s church?” Do we shuffle children off into Sunday Schools, or are they to be discipled daily in the homes by their own parents? Or a little of both?New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

The Age of Revolution and the American Uncivil War
The Civil War marked a sharp shift in America from decentralized to centralized government, from small government to big government, much influenced by Marxist thinking. What were these forces operating at this time—first rooted in the revolutions of Europe? We speak with the family-producers of a new documentary film, "Quest for Empire," and explore Abraham Lincoln's commitment to grow a strong centralized government in the US—something that continues to this day.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

The Left Wants Trump and “Me” in Jail
The enemy of my enemy is . . . my friend. Clearly, the left wants to put Donald Trump in jail, and they want pro-life protesters in jail for eleven years. While evangelicals may not be quite as thrilled to vote for Trump this time, they are discovering new reasons to vote for him. Ben Franklin's admonition is starting to ring true for more evangelicals—either they will have to hang together, or hang separately. If the left has it their way, somebody's going to hang. Trump favorability is on the rise—higher than ever. Biden favorability is dropping fast. We comment on Trump's speech at the National Religious Broadcasters association. Interesting stuff on this edition of Generations.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

IVF and Personhood
Alabama recently ruled that embryos are children. Many in support of in vitro fertilization are against this decision by the Alabama Supreme Court. However, is it right to make babies via IVF, knowing most of them will likely die? Kevin Swanson and Adam McManus discuss the ethics of IVF on this edition of Generations.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Asbury Revisited
We revisit Asbury after a full year has gone by and chronicle some of the most outstanding revivals of God in history. Compare the work of man and the work of God, and you find there is no comparison. We also note the snowballing effect of the William Burns revivals in South Africa and China—the most phenomenal outworking of God in the 19th century.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Repentance at Nuremberg
Judgement at Nuremberg . . . and repentance at Nuremberg. That's the backstory of history, which turns into the front story. Nazi's in heaven? Jeffrey Dahmer in heaven? You and me in heaven? Only by the shed blood of the Son of God, the Creator of Heaven and Earth, could that ever happen. Will the evil (or good) works of man trump the works of God in history? By what worldview are you reading history? Here is an engaging program delving into the souls of the Nazis at Nuremberg from the perspective of an American pastor who was there.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
