Thanksgiving 2024
Ukrainians currently live in a 9/11 situation, and have been for three years straight now. South Africans live life in a prison-camp-like, totalitarian, and socialist country. Meanwhile, America, because of the effect of the Protestant Reformation, has been blessed with peace, wealth, and much freedom. It's good to have the right perspective, thanking God for the place and time in which He has placed us. Gratefulness should characterize a Christian's life. Happy Thanksgiving!

Archbishop of Canterbury Resigns
Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, recently waffled on his position on homosexuality, and certain elements of the Anglican church called for his resignation. Shortly after, he resigned from his position due to the scandals. God's sovereignty over all of life continues to reign supreme.

Trump's Cabinet Picks
Kevin Swanson and Steve Vaughan review Trump's cabinet picks in this edition of Generations. So far, we have multiple divorcees, pro-aborts, homosexuals, and adulterers. If leaders are a reflection of the nation, what does this say about America?New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

The Problems with Socialist Medicine
From this interview aired back in 2013: Colin Gunn speaks of his new film on socialist medicine, outlining the problems facing socialist European nations and America. Socialism looks forward to an unproven future that will yield bankruptcy both of the character and the economies of entire nations. Yet there is a spirit of freedom that still beats in the hearts of some doctors and patients. Some of us will FIND A WAY through this morass.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

What Does It Mean to Be a Good Church Member?
Every Christian family must be part of a church, and healthy families are part of what make healthy churches. But the church member who has been part of a body for 30 or 40 years is increasingly rare in our day. What is it to be a good church member? What contributes to the longevity of both churches and members? How should we view the church and those within its walls? Kevin Swanson, Scott Brown, and Pastor Andre discuss these and other questions on this edition of the program.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

New Zealand Ahead in Secularization
Kevin Swanson interviews Pastor Andre Bay about the state of Christianity in New Zealand. While the U.S. apostatizes, New Zealand is one step ahead. Christians have a responsibility to stand against the world and continue to bring the Gospel, despite the push-back.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Church and Family in New Zealand
On this edition of Generations, Kevin Swanson and Scott Brown broadcast from New Zealand, where they address the health of the churches in New Zealand. So many NZ churches had to stand up during the Covid years and have become stronger as a result. Scott and Kevin also talk about the need for revival in many of today's churches.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Is Celebrity Influence Waning?
During the 2024 elections, celebrities put in their endorsements for Kamala Harris. Trump ended up winning, and so we ask the question: Who really influences the hearts of people? God does. God is King over all, and is the ultimate authority on right and wrong. However, the liberals continue to make their own law. Which sins are more egregious? Why do liberals believe the inconvenience for a woman trumps the life of the child? Kevin and Steve address these topics and more.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Should Christians Watch Horror?
Kevin Swanson and Steve Vaughan discuss the horror genre following the recent release of the horror film “Heretic.” The film has been highly successful in the box office. The horror genre encourages those watching to fear evil, which leads to the worship of evil, which is exactly what the demons want. Given this, is it appropriate for Christians to watch horror films?

The Worldwide Influence of Jesus Christ
Phenomenal things are happening around the world in the Kingdom of Jesus Christ. A vision for home discipleship is spreading through countries like Brazil, Mexico, Russia, and New Zealand. On the edition of the program, we review the statistics around the increasing influence that Hispanics in particular have in evangelical circles, the revivals that are happening in Brazil, and the enormous impact and influence that this will have in the years to come on America and around the world. If you would like to contribute financially to help Christians currently being persecuted in Brazil, please visit generations.org/give and select the International Outreach option.

What Is Trump's Plan?
On this edition of Generations, Kevin and Steve discuss Trump's second presidency. What are the number one priorities? Is Trump going to protect Christians? Will Trump cut spending? It's important for Christians to be in prayer for righteousness to take priority in this presidency.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Why Do Teens Kill?
Why do teens kill? Random violent killing in schools is on the rise. Phil Chalmers is America's leading authority on juvenile homicide and juvenile mass murder. He has interviewed over 200 teen killers and school shooters. According to Phil, there are multiple factors that play into this type of crime, but there is one universal factor that plays into it every time. The influence of media on young people is more powerful and insidious than you think.

Gender Gap Larger Than Ever
During this election cycle, the gender gap of women voting Democrat and men voting Republican was the largest it's ever been. Households are divided politically, and the Left is encouraging it. Who we are voting for should be a private and family matter, but Leftists are demanding a win at the expense of the family.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

The Softest Age
We currently live in the softest age known to mankind. People are making far more in developed countries today than they have in the past. In addition, there is also a softening of evil. There is no ultimate source of right and wrong in the minds of many today, including in the American church.

A Window of Opportunity
There are some significant differences between this election and the last presidential election of 2020. While President Trump managed to secure more of the minority vote this time, the overall influence of evangelicals has dropped off by roughly 5 percent since 2020. It is only by the mercy of God that Jezebel lost. But what do the most recent election trends, especially around initiatives concerning pro-life issues, reveal about the hearts of Americans? Is God giving America another opportunity to repent? Here is another call for the salt to regain its saltiness, a call for true repentance and revival . . . and a call to make America humble again. Election 2024 — Jehu Won.
The 2024 election outcome was plainly a demonstration of God’s mercy upon a nation. Jehu won. Jezebel lost. The babies lost, except in South Dakota. What then is the next four years, but one more opportunity to see a little repentance on abortion, homosexuality, and the things that matter to God? We’re not sure much of this matters to the Republican Party, but at least they won!New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Elite College Kids Can’t Read
Atlantic Magazine complains that elite college kids can’t read whole books. That’s pretty sad in that readers are usually leaders, and we have every biblical to raise readers . . . and leaders. Some tips on raising leaders and teaching our kids to read here.

Election 2024
The ballot can be cast into the box, but the whole disposing of it is of the Lord. It is incumbent on Christians to repent . . . and vote. On this edition of Generations, Kevin Swanson and Bill Jack address Election Day 2024 and how Christians can help bring the political realm to the feet of Jesus, even if the candidates don’t.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Inflation Reduces Retirement by $2.5 Trillion
Inflation reduced retirement accounts by $2.5 trillion, but the good news is that Trump and Biden gave us all $814 billion in stimmie checks! Inflation took it all away and reduced the value of savings accounts by $1.6 trillion and 401(k) accounts by $2.5 trillion. What a deal! The government created $5 trillion out of thin air, gave us all $814 billion, and then reduced our savings and retirement accounts by a value of $4.1 trillion! It’s a shell game. It’s stealing. And the government is good at it.

Why Liberal Denominations Die Out
England provides the template for the dissolution of denominations in the decline of the West. The correlation between compromise on homosexuality and the shrinking of congregations within respective denominations is almost perfect. The Archbishop of Canterbury waffles on homosexuality in hopes to salvage some minimal participation in his church, but the strategy isn’t working for him. But why?

Principled Voting on Ballot Issues
We fill out the Colorado ballot, arguably the longest and most wicked ballot for this election cycle. How would Jesus vote? He would do the will of His Father as contained in the law of God revealed in the Bible. He would advocate a government that reflects the laws of God and limits itself to the purview God has laid out for it. How does a principled Christian vote on the ballot issues?New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

America’s Systemic Psychosis
This nation is experiencing higher levels of the Romans 1 phenomenon, where God gives a people up to a corrupted mind . . . really insanity. Contributing to it is this intentional work of would-be tyrants who know that a confused and anxious population disconnected from the truth is easy to control. Here are ten ways to work your way out of the asylum and overcome the systemic psychosis.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Arguing for State-funded Charity
Christian organizations are vying for more government funding—the sort of Marxism and farcical monstrosity that has undermined real charity in the modern age. What the government funds, the government controls and mostly destroys. Here is an article from World Magazine arguing for the funding of Christian charities and bemoaning the secularizing of socialist governments.

The Porn Scourge — Worse Than Ever
Porn use is up 11 percent over the last eight years according to a recent comprehensive survey (in the US). No fornicator will enter the kingdom of heaven . . . but 75 percent of Christian men and 40 percent of Christian women report that they are viewing pornography at least occasionally. Sixty percent are addicted. And, about half of practicing Christians say they are comfortable with the habit. What would Jesus say to us?New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Survey on American Voting Preferences
The survey is in for the 2024 US election prioritization of issues for the voters. Democrat voters want to kill babies. And Republican voters want money, and they don’t care much about this matter of killing babies. Only about 10 percent of American voters are pro-life voters. And, 30 percent of American voters are pro-abortion voters. How can we turn 10 percent into 30 percent? The pro-life position is a losing proposition at that rate. The battle, however, is fought and won (or lost) in the seminaries, the churches, and the schools. But the political elections provide a barometer on the heart of the nation.

Archeology Confirms Saul, David, and Solomon
With each find, archeology only further substantiates biblical history. We share some of the most exciting archeological discoveries and demonstrate their correlation with Scripture in this new segment. What are the intersections between Egypt and David, Solomon, and Jeroboam? Where do we find David winning key battles against the Syrians, only to lose ground under Ahab and others? Christians are often lost in the history of the Kings and Chronicles. This segment will help straighten out misconceptions and clarify ancient middle-eastern history from 1100 BC to 700 BC.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Top Christian Books in 2024
Readers are leaders. That’s why women are writing the books now. They are the leaders, and women are the readers. The popular books dwell on personal experience, self-help, the apocalypse, Christian horror, and miscellaneous unedifying fodder. But what makes for edification? That’s the bigger question. Here’s the conclusion. Let’s focus more on the work of God than the work of man . . . and more on the Word of God than the word of man.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Vigilantes, Individualism, and the Wild West
Anarchy reigns in Portland, Oregon and other blue cities. What is to be done when both the individual and the state are violating all of God’s laws with impunity? When can we defend our property by shooting all violators? We look at Wyatt Earp and the shootout at the OK Corral. Then, we draw on biblical law on these matters. The Bible allows for family defense, but not so much for vigilantism and vengeance killings. The highest divorce rates on the US map still show up in Colorado, New Mexico, Wyoming, and Utah. What is it about the rural areas in the West that contribute to a breakdown of the family covenant? Rugged individualism is the ultimatization of self . . . and destroys covenant relationships. Anarchy is as dangerous as communism.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Looking for Life in All the Wrong Places
NASA has spent a trillion dollars on space ventures looking for life in all the wrong places. Another $5.2 billion goes into searching for life in a frigid -270°F surface of one of Jupiter’s moons. The attempts to prove God’s non-existence or irrelevance knows no end. But the question remains: How did all this water get to this planet we call Earth?

Whose Side Is God On?
There are roughly 5.4 billion people represented in nations today that support traditional marriage. There are 1.4 billion people represented in nations today that oppose traditional marriage. If there was a world war between West and East, who would win? Whose side is God on? One thing is for sure. Nations cannot destroy marriage and the family and hope to have a civilization a hundred years from now.

Evangelicals Excusing Foul Language
Increasingly, evangelical pastors are advising the use of foul language and obscene gestures. Is this ignorance concerning the symbolic connotations communicated in human language? Or, is it that there is little or no fear of God before their eyes? Why is it wrong to say, “Gosh darn it all to heck?” And, how does cursing differ from the imprecatory psalms? These are highly significant discussion items in an increasingly apostate age. New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Women Leading the Leaving Church
For the first time in history, women are leading the leaving of the faith. For the last 15 years, they have led the American apostasy on the pop-culture scene, and they have led in the popular evangelly-fish book market. Almost all top ten Christian books have been authored by women for the last 10 years or so, paving the exit ramps off the highway of orthodoxy for other women. But young men are going back to church. They want to hear the hard truths, and they are staying in discipleship. Good signs for the church in the 21st Century.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Disney Leads the Culture in 2024
Disney is leading the culture again with the two largest blockbusters of the year—Inside Out 2 and Dead Pool 3—both heavy queer-coding, gender fluid-affirming, revolutionary cultural expressions. How much of Hollywood is effeminate, gender-fluid, and queer coded? More than you could imagine. But then again, so was the Globe Theater in 1590. The Puritans were as concerned about the theater then as we are now. Not much has changed. New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Political Prisoners in the USSA
Political prisoners are typically clapped in the clink by communist governments on the charge of some legal technicality. That's precisely what is happening in the good old USS of A. Pro-lifers, Christian homeschool dads, and election questioners are getting three to nine years in prison these days. Here's yet another story taken from a highly reliable source we need to share with our listening audience.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Cautionary Points on Classical Education
We may appreciate the trivium, or a careful study of history, or the great literature . . . but is it a Christ-centered history or a man-centered history? Is it pagan literature, or Christian literature? These are extremely critical questions with which Christian parents must grapple. Their children’s souls are at stake in regards to these matters. Here are some cautionary notes concerning classical education. The reintroduction of Greek humanism into the universities in the 1300s killed the faith once. Then again, the right-wing and left-wing enlightenment turned back to the Greeks in the 1700s—killing the Protestant faith. The same thing is happening today with a return to a humanistic epistemology and ethic. Bottom line, there isn’t nearly enough careful worldview discernment . . . among those classical teachers who have had their training in liberal arts from public schools, non-discerning Christian schools, and left-wing Christian liberal arts colleges.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

European Anti-Christian Politics
We’re currently witnessing the breakdown of Europe in our day. Islam is taking over, and the goal, as defined by France’s president, is to eliminate religion completely. Many European countries are significantly post-Christian, and America is starting to follow. The BELA Bull in the China Shop
Homeschooling has expanded exponentially in the nation of South Africa where almost everything else has broken down. The enemy is responding by extending state control over the one thing that is working. How will Christian homeschoolers and Christian schools respond to added state regulations of this growing movement?

Pastors & Inappropriate Relationships
Another pastor in Dallas is removed from his position because of an “inappropriate relationship.” One blogster counts 16 scandals in Dallas churches just this year, including 4-5 high profiles. What is the Spirit saying to the churches? Where are the honest confessions, the humble repentances, and the churches still with some integrity to them? When it comes to inappropriate relationships, what does this mean? Inappropriate in the eyes of the world? Inappropriate in the eyes of the church? Inappropriate in the eyes of the civil magistrate? Was there a civil law broken in this matter? Or was this a thing that was inappropriate in the eyes of God?New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Would Jesus Vote for Kamala Harris?
Ray Ortlund and the leftist side of evangelicalism is sometimes Kamala Harris, but never Trump. Everybody picks their ethical systems and a basis by which to judge one thing as better than the others. That’s why evangelicals are going for Kamala Harris . . . wrong ethical system.

Make Disciples
THE FORGE, the newest Christian movie from the Kendrick Brothers, is a powerful illustration and reminder that discipleship matters! Guest host Adam McManus interviews Alex Kendrick, the co-writer and director of the film, which has already made $27 million domestically since August 23rd. At its height, THE FORGE was shown in 1,900 theaters. Still in 700 theaters today, go to the website www.TheForgeMovie.com to find out where it is playing near you. In the film, Isaiah Wright, played by Aspen Kennedy, has some growing up to do. A year out of high school with no plans for his future, Isaiah is challenged by his single mom and a successful businessman to start charting a better course for his life. Through the Biblical discipleship from his new mentor, prayers of his mother and a prayer warrior named Miss Clara, Isaiah begins to discover God’s purpose for his life. Most Bible-believing Christians know the Great Commission by memory. It records the last words of Jesus during His earthly ministry found in Mathew 28:18-20. Jesus said, “All authority in Heaven and on Earth has been given to Me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Notice it doesn’t say, “Go and make converts.” While the movie inspires Christians to make disciples, their companion book, Devoted To Jesus, equips believers to disciple others by working through the 52 short chapters in 52 weeks with anyone who needs to grow in faith. Like the special ceremony for young men in THE FORGE, McManus shares the story of the special Manhood Celebration ceremony he organized for his son Honor’s 13th birthday. Much like the Jewish families launch their sons into adulthood through a bar mitzvah, McManus believes Evangelical parents should be more intentional. Rob Dempsey, Morning Show Host of His Radio, said, “THE FORGE masterfully weaves together themes of forgiveness, mentorship, and the hope of the Gospel, creating an entertaining and impactful film that leaves a lasting impression.” Watch the trailer of THE FORGE.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Kamala’s Swiss-Cheese border
When Kamala Harris was asked on the Oprah Winfrey infomercial whether she would secure the border if elected as president, she said two things. As California Attorney General, she prosecuted transnational groups for the trafficking of guns, drugs, and human beings. As Vice President, she advocated for the passage of the Biden Border Bill which would have placed 1,500 additional Border Patrol agents on the ground. She sounds like a Republican, as she moves center to appeal to law-and-order Americans. But, as Jeremy Beck, Vice President of Initiatives for NumbersUSA.com, points out in his appearance with guest host Adam McManus, Kamala, the designated Border Czar, certainly hasn’t lifted a finger for the last four years to stem the tide of transnational groups who have been trafficking copious amounts of guns, drugs, and human beings across our southern border. Secondly, the reason why common sense prevailed in regards to the defeat of Biden’s sham of a border bill, is that it would have, for the first time, actually mandated a minimum number of 500,000 illegal aliens to be given admittance into America. Plus, the 1,500 additional Border Patrol agents would not have been tasked with preventing illegals from crossing our southern border, but with facilitating their illegal entrance across the border.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

3 Abortion Lies
In the first presidential debate between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris, there were three lies told about abortion. Guest host Adam McManus addresses all three with Sue Liebel, the State Affairs Director for Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America. Plus, you’ll hear the audio clips of all three. LIE #1: Abortions don’t happen in the ninth month of pregnancy. Kamala Harris falsely claimed, “Nowhere in America is a woman carrying a pregnancy to term and asking for an abortion. That is not happening; it’s insulting to the women of America.” Truth: Abortion is legal for any reason up to birth in ten states and DC. Abortion is legal through nine months of pregnancy for any reason in ten states plus D.C. Those states are Alaska, California, Colorado, Michigan, Minnesota, New Jersey, New Mexico, Ohio, Oregon, and Vermont. LIE #2: There is no state in which “abortion after birth” is legal. At one point, debate moderator Linsey Davis inappropriately jumped in to debate Trump, telling him, “There is no state in this country where it is legal to kill a baby after it’s born.” She is incorrect! Truth: “After-birth abortion” or infanticide does occur, and 15 states allow it. These 15 states allow infanticide: Alaska, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Utah, and Vermont. That’s why Marjorie Dannenfelser, the President of Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, sent a letter to ABC demanding a correction. In 2019, then-Senator Kamala Harris voted against the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires abortionists to provide potentially lifesaving care to babies born during botched abortions. In addition, just because it is illegal in many states to kill a newborn baby does not mean it is not happening and that abortion advocates don’t support it. Pennsylvania abortionist Kermit Gosnell is in prison currently for actively killing babies who survived his abortion procedures. LIE #3: Pro-life laws make it “criminal” for a doctor to provide health care for women who have miscarriages. During the debate, Kamala Harris falsely claimed, “Over 20 Trump abortion bans make it criminal for a doctor or nurse to provide health care. In one state, it provides prison for life. I have talked with women around our country. You want to talk about, ‘This is what people wanted?’ Pregnant women who want to carry a pregnancy to term suffering from a miscarriage being denied care in an emergency room because the health care providers are afraid they might go to jail and she’s bleeding out in a car in the parking lot. She didn’t want that. Her husband didn’t want that.” Truth: No pro-life law prohibits legitimate health care.

Two Assassination Attempts
On Sunday, September 15th, former President Donald Trump was targeted in a second assassination attempt on the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida. It happened just nine weeks after the Republican presidential nominee survived another attempt on his life in Butler, Pennsylvania. Guest host Adam McManus talks with Michael Letts, a former law enforcement officer who worked with the Reagan Secret Service team, and founder of InVestUSA.org, which provides bullet-proof vests to police. They talk about Ryan Routh, age 58, who hid out on the Trump Golf Club for 12 hours waiting to assassinate the former president. How did he know that Trump would be there since it was not published on his public schedule? How did he avoid discovery until the very last moment? And they also address the many security problems which enabled Matthew Crooks, age 20, to come within an inch of successfully assassinating Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13th. Is there a mole inside the Secret Service?New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Exploding pagers in Lebanon
Thousands of pagers detonated across Lebanon last Tuesday, injuring nearly 3,000 and killing 12 people. The attack targeted fighters with the terrorist group Hezbollah but also killed civilians. Then, in a second wave of attacks, hand-held radios detonated across Lebanon on September 18th, killing 14 people and injuring over 450. Guest host Adam McManus interviews Pastor Mark Biltz, a Messianic Jew, the author of God's Day Timer: The Key to Unlocking God's Time Clock, and founder of El Shaddai Ministries in Washington State. Biltz says Israel’s Mossad, the Institute for Intelligence and Special Operations, is the most likely and suspected source of the explosions, though they are not talking. The larger issue is that many see the source as obviously being Israel. Once that perception takes hold, it then becomes Hezbollah’s move and, by extension, Iran’s move. In this shocking and unprecedented event, the fabric of modern warfare has been torn wide open. Thousands of Hezbollah operatives in Lebanon found themselves on the wrong side of a deadly technological twist, as pagers—devices largely considered relics of the past—erupted in a series of devastating explosions. Within just a few hours, these seemingly innocuous gadgets turned into instruments of retribution.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com

Seeds in the Cracks
Relationship. Discipleship. Families being together, being nurtured, even in the midst of some of the most difficult times in recent history. This is what we see in families across the world who are discipling their children in the midst of war and government opposition. They provide a shining light of home education compared to the backdrop of brokenness, decimation, and isolation of the post-Christian wasteland of the West. We discuss the challenges facing the international homeschooling community and inspiring stories of faith from nations around the world on this edition of the program.

Should the State Fund Education?
On this edition of the program, Kevin Swanson discusses the history of Christian homeschool organizations and the ideology of home education with Brian Ray. Bias in Journalism and History
The media has always had a tremendous impact on the formation of public opinion . . . but it at least tried to be unbiased in its reporting in times past. So what do we do when it becomes as blatantly biased as it is today? Is there an objective, absolute standard to use when interpreting the events around us? Or is it the one who yells “Heretic!” the loudest who wins in the end? We review some of the basics requirements for good journalism, how to navigate the maze of a thousand opinions, and the need bring God’s standards to bear in the area of the press and current events on this edition of the program.New kids and family podcast from Generations - TeachMeTheFaith.com
